Woah, with so many dresses posted, there's a one and only gown with bishop sleeves. 😉

 

Most are beautiful and unique, though if I go with personal preferences, the ideal and timeless wedding dresses are wedding gowns that aren't more like lingeries, not having deep neckline, and the bride should be wearing the dress and not the other way around.

You know Korean red carpet looks are quite conservative and boring tbh. It's seldom that Korean actresses wear anything but quite ordinary dresses. I think it translates also to k-dramas unfortunately. A lot of dresses look quite similar.

 

I have to say though that some real life k-actress brides have looked stunning on their real wedding days though. Park Shin Hye comes to mind.

I don't know how to vote...everything looks white and plain. I'm used to bright colors in wedding. Hahaha.

There are so many beautiful dresses but the veils spoil quite a few. The Park marriage contract for example attaches a coronet. Don’t like it at all. One looks like a bandanna. No short dresses either. 
I have just realised how very thin a few are eg. Marry my husband.

 kekekek... know how you feel. I am personally not a fan of white in everyday wear either. as for radhika, think she got upstaged by everyone else!!! hahahahhahaha..... 

 

re the poll: I just voted for the dresses that have some interesting detail but generally, the background white makes it harder to reflecting details. it has to have a lot of beading 

If I had to look at good wedding dresses, I prefer the hanboks in saeguks because they are far more interesting to see visually. There are colours and lots of interesting details. There was only one daily that had a bride wear a white hanbok in a modern setting which was interesting.

yes, the one that went on for months and had everyone confused. hahahahhaha... it was a running joke in social media that she was being upstaged by her future mother-in-law as well as sister-in-laws. 

 

am sure her outfit cost a bazillion but she is essentially wearing gold on gold embroidery. and to top it off, she is photographed against a dark background with yellow lights. so in photographs, those details on the outfit don't stand out. 

 

it is similar to the problem with white wedding dresses. for me, white dresses pop when it is an outdoor setting where the white stands in contrast. then against the sun, you can see the details.

 

in contrast, her in-laws had outfits with contrasting threadworks and colours which popped a lot more in photos -- so visually pretty much all the guests and others stole the show.

yes, it was one of the dresses that I voted. it is a nice shade of red and really pops in photo. haven't seen the drama but it looks like the character's personality is shining through the dress and so that makes it more interesting to see.

Sweetie, she was well known for always wearing red nail polish. That's why I think she chose a red wedding dress. She was also a bold lawyer, so a strong color suited her personality well.

 

 

Lee Se Young is extremely pretty, so it's no problem for her to pull off a wedding dress like that.

 

She's also an excellent actress.

they are so fake that they held a mass wedding for some 50 poor couples. people rolled their eyes at the obvious PR. there were also pics of the gifts they gave to employees where the box was more nicer than the actual sweets -- which are regular stuff you can get in supermarkets. not even the expensive kinds. 

 

these are noveau rich and so people in some ways are not surprised by the over the top behaviour. still, the length of the activities is way too long. plus, calling it pre-wedding events for six months, LOL.

But this marriage indirectly, nah, directly opened up jobs for 1000s of people. From those making sets for the wedding to the catering, to the wedding dress, jewellery. Everything is worked on by hundreds of people. I dont mind when rich people spend money like this because it comes into the economy again...
