  1. Ya, what's that supposed to mean? Ahhh Park Se-Wan, I really need to watch Seoul Busters.... 414
  2. Let's see how my mood is tonight. Surprised he wasn't accidentally living in their basement. And how often did he had to protect poor, weak noona in this scenario? Did you fall for him on first sight aswell? All that was missing is him appearing out of nowhere next to her in the rain with an umbrella in slow motion to complete the circle of tropes. I am sure this will happen at one point in the drama too. Fate, sure. Ahh, so even more coincidences or 'fate'. Of course. Nah, I skip this one. Too much for me.
  3. +2 Because they run for like 50 episodes (or 36 in this case) and are just very light and not with much depth. It's the typical family weekend drama and my taste is very narrow. And a bad scene in the first episode is not my kinda tea aswell
  4. +2 @partyonDidn't even know Iron Family was a weekend drama. Then I can cross this out as my next drama aswell. Sigh....seems like I do have to watch Seoul Busters. Really don't like binging 8 episodes. But every drama on my list to watch airs in November now.
  5. Let's discuss this here. That is honest for you? I'm always surprised how afar we sometimes are in these things noona. Maybe it is because of the limited episodes, but the pacing is so far off. They had a whole relationship is not even 25 minutes, the coincidences are forced, it didn't feel natural for me in any case. Yeah, if I get two shining heroic knight moments in like two days, my love interest applies for the same job as I and even there I can protect her from the evil fiend, she then randomly gets a job right in front of my workplace AND is the sole worker there, also has to do the same mall cleaning for as I do and somehow every other participant magically disappears and overall the whole city feels like it just has two streets and they constantly meet each other at random. then I am sure, even I would find a girl. But is it a honest depiction? Naaaah~ Maybe their portrait of love itself is better during the relationship, but so far all I have seen is a very odd first episode. Maybe I give the second episode a shot, but for now, I don't really feel it. I mean, of course he comes to Korea and she is the first person he meets at the airport. Like they are the only people on earth. It's so magically christmas landy.
  6. Ahh, yaaay. I will start watching it later aswell. Finally I can see my Law Cafe beauty again. Edit: Omg @partyon it's so cheesy. Holy carrot is it cheesy. Shining knight protecting the poor, vulnerable foreign girl twice in lightning speed. I'm surprised they weren't married with kids at the end of the first episode. The whole story feels kinda forced already. I think I will drop it. But Lee Se-Young is so pretty again, sigh, I guess I have to wait for Motel Californa to see her again. Sometimes? I always pity korean women in this regard. The most beautiful women in the world have to deal with these toxic men. No surprise the birthrates are going down for years and some women even boycott relationships. Just yesterday I read a big thread on X about this situation. Korean men treat feminism like some crazy conspiracy and it annoys me. +2

    Ask The Fellas

Oh god, this thread still exists. I spent quite some time answering stuff back then here. Time to get to work again if questions pop up here.
  8. Yes, very briefly but she did. +2
  9. +2 Hahaha, why? Because you think I won't hold back and fire from all guns? If yes, you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT For heaven's sake, she is such a spoiled brat, what kind of nonsense RickRoll'D apology is this? She really does everything in her power to make her more unlikeable each day. First of all, "cultural differences"? No darling, in Italy smoking in a closed public environment is forbidden since 2005 and in Germany since 2011. If you visit a country as tourist, you should behave like a decent person and abide the local laws. It has nothing to do with Korea or any cultural differences. I can guarantee, if you smoke indoors here in Germany, you get called out immediately. In any closed environment. Not only because it's against the law, simply because it's rude. (AND well....against the law) The fact that she blew smoke in someones face is just the cherry on top. Blaming Korea and korean people, not refelcting on her own actions just shows her character. Just a rich, spoiled artist who can't even do a proper apology. @partyon Happy?
  10. Yeah and I live pretty much in the centre of them all. Carnival not so much though, not my cup of tea. Ahhh noona, you are the prime example of the typical german christmas market visitor. Hauptsache Saufen! (Mainly drinking!). But I don't drink myself, I'm not fond of alcohol, but there are plenty of other things you can do. Christstollen (my favorite), candied Apples, sugared almonds, hot chocolates with thousands of different flavors, every christmas market has their own local specialty aswell. Well, Nuremberg is famous for a reason. For tourists, who have families and just want to have the christmas experience, Cologne in front of the Kölner Dom is very nice, but also very, very crowded. But they have tons of shows for kids, so much food AND you can see the Dom. Cologne also has like 8 markets in total, so you can see a lot of different smaller markets too. But my favorite? Hmmmm~ okay, follow me. Okayokayokay, but this stays between us, shhh, Christmas Market in Solingen at Schloss Grünewald. It's a middle-sized (2023 there were like 100 christmas stalls) Christmas Market in front of a beautiful villa in an english garden that's surrounded by beauty. The fact that's in front of a nice villa in an english garden gives it such a beautiful atmosphere, so much to discover. Don't tell anyone, the city itself is very small, but the christmas market is always in the Top 10 of every christmas chart with the big boy cities. This is my go-to spot to get into the christmas mood, I drag every date I ever had around christmas time to this area, because it's so romantic and beautiful there. And yes @partyon they have tons of alcohol there too!
  11. What? Nonononono. Okay, technically yes, LBY is hot noona~ of course, but she's different. She isn't 50 and when I watched her for the first time she was in her 30s. She wasn't my first crush and it took actually a while before she claimed her spot as Queen Bee...or Queen Boo(?). I remember my first drama with her was 'I Can Hear Your Voice' and I didn't like it at all. No chemistry, horrible stuff. 2017 with Whisper our journey started. No it was Do JI Won! Healer Noona! She was 50 when Healer was aired and she was SO beautiful! I loved her from the first second. She is 58 now and I would still marry her on the spot! LBY is happily married anyway, so...since I won't marry any of my Kpop Girls anyway. I have seen my fair share for sure, general rule, smaller cities and their markets are more cozy and christmas-y, big cities are larger and have more stands, but are much more crowded and expensive. Ehhh, chinguu, you know even the tiniest village in Germany has their own christmas market? You really want me to count them all!? I live in the 20ish~ largest city in Germany and we have at least 4. And I live in an area where I am surrounded by large cities. Some of the big cities have like 8 different Christmas markets. Gosh....I feel like I should put this in a spoiler......sorry if I can't remember every english name of german cities ^^ This will be fun. 44 just by cities, not counting difference markets in cities. But honestly, each christmas I visit like the same 3-4. I think these are the ones with a little bit of thinking. Living in Northrhine-Westphalia has the perk of having tons of cities within range. +2
  12. Yeah, because it is! Old dramas are so over the top and cheesy and the kiss is no different! The kiss AND the scene are both just living off of nostalgy. Sigh, why do you put me in a spot like this. This seems like a quite well known scene and you make me trample all over it again! Good, I guess? I mean, I am not complaning if this is the bar, only means to me there are no standards in place.
  13. Noona, did you forget to wear your glasses again? Clearly, otherwise I can't explain why you would confuse these two words. Maybe you listened to too many boring boygroups again? Hmm, should we do a little exercise to get your braincells in place to adore if something is ACTUALLY beautiful? Welcome to Samdal-ri was awesome! I even had my 2nd big noona crush. And this time she wasn't even 50...ju-just 46. Wanna guess who was my first? Pretty easy I guess. heyheyheyhey, let's not jump to conclusions here. My sister would never marry without telling me about it first. She would obviously ask for my blessing before anything else. Just imagine.....what if the guy doesn't truly like Chuu......uuuuhm......I-I mean her!? That would be cruel. And no guy is worth my sister anyway. She probably is either traveling again or working like a hellhound, forgetting about her poor brother. @partyon @agenth You had crushes when you were 11? Okay, I checked a few old songs, I had crushes when I was 11 too. But they aged not too badly. +2
  14. +2 I could say the same. My taste is very simple. If you haven't figured it out yet, maybe I should give you some lessons. It's not my mistake if you can't see a beautiful drama right in front of you noona. Seems to me you rather like cold potatoes. I dropped so many dramas you probably like. Welcome to Samdal-ri was such a carefree, light drama, I liked it. So I AM still your dongsaeng. I thought I managed to completely blow this up with my very successful BTS school history. I didn't know I am your oldest dongsaeng, but it kinda makes sense I guess. I was gone for a long time, but you summoned me back successfully. @4evrkdramaDon't worry, I am a strong guy with strong opinions myself. I am very blunt if I dislike something too. Noona @partyon is absolutely right, we match very well in this regard. Yes and no. Hey vacation is a very important matter, of course we have to choose carefully where to go. Although I am not much of a traveler myself, everytime I do travel to a city where my favorite Kpop Groups play, I spent days and weeks to find the right hotel. Btw, has someone seen my sister? This girl, super sweet when I wasn't around and complaining and now she is a ghost.
