I called the friend of CY/YS Leech. She was to me the only villian (but compared to other dramas) she is mild. She did get her conscience back and told CY that YD was her real brother she has been looking for all these years.
I agree GJ mom is not evil. She is lonely and expresses her self not well despite being loving and a bit obsessive with her sons on their lives and controlling. (I wrote alot in the forums reminded me of my dad alot.)

Sad that the only person JY feels close and at east to share his probs HH, the latter is uneasy due to their warped relationship thanks to JK.
Yeah, JK is definitely needing company and support etc. When JK was sad and recounting how reliable HH was with her. She prob did like him in the beginning and he approached her. Knowing more about JY and JK, it NEVER was an easy relationship. For JY wanting to be friends with her as thanks for her grandmother and the loss of her mom due to the Foundation allowed him to play piano. It was unbalanced from the beginning. Feelings blossoming is not unheard of with emotions, lots of time together and attractive people togerher. So that is not surprising. But HE NEVER was at ease with JK with the power dynamics and over money. Now more than ever finding out what he did from his mom does not make it easier at all for him. Plus his feelings starting for another, he is getting a realization he is moving away from JK (one sided crush/obsession or whatever you call it.) Though JY doesn't share much with SA now verbally, he is already soothed by her company and smiles when seeing her. Already that is alot and wanting to see her when no feeling well. From the get go helping her at that practice. Then the situations they met up organically airport, seeing her with no umbrella, and her seeing him playing piano when she thought she got the rehearsal room. (Other dramas I find it TOO much here it was more natural and organic. )

Thanks @partyonTrue the Emperor smelling her handkerchief was a bit creepy not going to lie especially she is not aware of it. UGGGGH. I Hear you on Danashiri 100%. She is full of it. It is that ego/pride that keeps her going.
I TOO was tempted to go on as well. I had to type my thoughts or I would forget. LOL. Plus at home I have no laptop so typing on my cell is painful. LOL.

I agree that JY has alot and the pinky swear though childish was cute. I mean both are dating newbies so it was appropriate though childish and cute on their parts. I agree their relationship is NOt deep enough for him to share the nitty gritty of his life with her. But frankly I know that it all depends on the two people involved. You can be close and share everything quickly (if feeling comfortable) and those you have known for forever barely know you WELL . So I admit that can be true.
JK wanting to know the answer from JY on what he feels seeing her after learning from his mom --her constant financial support ALL these years. Gosh poor JY. Then her to be jealous seeing he wrote SA name on three post its. Sigh. Saying enduring is hard and to go to her when ready. I feel she BARELY endured as he requested. Sigh.
As seeing a future episode pics, oooh they will have sweet moments our OTP. I do feel on the boat that HN is the gossip person not JK. JK is not in school. Plus if spread around in school HN is TOP candidate. She was jealous when she thought SA had not talked to a professor to do grad school and looked plenty jealous AGAIN at SA.

-Yes, Nyang learns Wang Yoo is alive and back though Togon tried to drag it out for her to not know. He wanted to see her but was disappointed not to see her. The Queen totally on the WY crush hearing a passionate man like an animal. She is wanting attention and hearing that she is intrigued. Seeing her dress up and force her way to private audience with Empress Dowager, Togon and Wang Yoo was funny. Then her excited about WY vs Togon and cheering for WY. She drank the WY juice and even tried to get an apology for his rudeness to her. But he said she owed one for slapping him.lol. His playing the instrument to reciting a poem Togon deemed boring not both Empress and Queen agreed was well done. Togon have a hissy fit of jealousy was funny.
-Seeing Lady Pak hid her pregnancy when accused she was lying was strike of genius. Now officially pregnant and no longer lady in waiting all is left to birth a son. Still to get to that point was a doozy. Glad the laurel extract by YH was minor. Then having the Eunuch take out the licorice to prevent a natural miscarriage. TQ was upset when his sis and their plans failed and spreading the fake pregnancy ruse rumors.
Queen kneeling in the rain for forgiveness. Wow amazed she didn’t get really sick. Foiled by Nyang and head eunuch who helped Lady Pak.
-WY letting General Batalou go was smart. Then when General Banyan and Wang Yoo got awards was awesome. Give props to El Tumur he respects WY but keeps him at distance . Tangqisi maybe ruthless but none of his dads political acumen but strong in combat and detective /sleuthing skills.
-Tangqisi after hearing from Nyang she will never go to as he killed her mom. He realizes he got it bad. He told her only you should cry over me (oh brother.) Then reminds her his power over her life, I can kill you anytime but choose not to.
-WY teasing El Tumur looking for the Blood Vow of Togon’s dad was poisoned not dying through illness was shock for Togon after finding from Empress Dowager. From using blood appeal (SN smart to have Lord Zhang slip on ice to make the switch). Then the disappearing ink and nonsmudging ink proved successful
-WY and SN romance vibes now was weird. He not really but from SN ok. When he told her to not help their cause now he doesn’t want to endanger SN. She of course still does due to Eunuch Bang. Love he is BFF with the head Eunuch. When WY found out she helped them he yelled at her to leave and he would never see her again. To give the cold shoulder killed him but he feels that will keep SN safe. Cause being caught in the crossfire the emperor or him cannot save once caught.
Wang Ko got nada from Yuan and surprisingly tells WY the truth of some matters. But WY gives all his money to the Koryo village with the plague. Just desserts evil Byung Soo got it, just don’t happy as he is pure evil.
Togon getting Nyang drunk and teasing her with her memory black out later about her actions . Him saying she has to be within three steps of him. Gosh annoying. Reading aloud to him nightly too. But trying to annoy WY having her clean his ears in front of him. Sigh. Childish and always wanting her attention . The Eunuch knows only Nyang is tolerated by Togon - to comfort him (after El Tumur upsets him), put ointment on Togon etc.
El Tumur is one guy interesting mix ambition , control and assimilation with the throne and stating he got three men on the stage as his puppets sigh.
The initial soccer practice Togon wasn’t good and SN showed off her skills. So to see them even up the score tie before the crucial tie breaker point both have SN in the brain. Togon adds SN off limits. Gosh both are fiery passionate about her.

I had some time last weekend and went a bit ahead. But I made sure to write the thoughts ahead of time. As I knew I would forget and confuse it all.
So caught ep 9-11 and more about our King obsessed about Wol.
- End of 8, the king is awake and grabs Wol’s hands. Accuses her if she is a spy and ousts her . Plus she dare touch the King’s royal and sacred body. But he admitted that usual vigilant Woon let her touch the king. So what she did seemed to soothe him. She was put into prison. He reverts back to grumpy (from smiling loving the soup to frowning ask it never be made again). Just as she has ‘criminal ‘burned onto her lovely face she is saved by the king. He wants her back by his side. He is torn and admits to Woon that he is more in danger to her than vice versa.
- KSY as the king his longing for YW & when Woon finds a letter she wrote as apology he notes she is very bright and literate for a shaman for his critical comment on him and her status . Dealing with having to get an heir, dealing with his Queen’s dad. Plus when he asked his sister’s hubby and his former teacher /YW bro there was an uproar as Prince Consort. Eunuch HS was right it should be YW bro with him not the Eunuch. The happiness he feels to see YW bro. Him bringing YW last letter before dying to the King. He did the right thing. She used all her last energy worrying of the king and his health despite being in the brink of death. I cannot blame the king investing the too convenient timing of her illness.
-The Princess is still sweet and I like she cares for YW mom well. Poor mom dreams of her beloved YW. That family is precious sad the dad is no longer. You can see the Prince Consort has an affection for his wife. Not a passionate love but still sweetness looking at her. When he promised to return after his travels and never give her up. Aww . Cannot blame the palace maids jockeying to see him like Empress Ki those wanting to see Wang Yoo.
- Prince YM smitten not I being why with Wol and the King. Both are bothered by her and constantly ask don’t you know me? The fact she doesn’t realize that her memories are not the spiritual world but her memories. Even when the king questions her handwriting as too coincidental.
-Jansil being ousted by Shaman NY after defying her order to allow Prince YM to see Wol. When asked why she helped him, cause he was the first to save her life. Aww. Seol still has crush on YW bro & checks into them. She tried to keep JS but got told no leniency this time .
-Wol is seen by the Queen who heard voices from YW old pavilion. She has a spy observe everything for her about the human talisman and the king. She is uneasy to her looks similar to YW. Plus hearing he asked for box with rain written on it. He cannot let him of her. Wol says sorry I am not her as he repeatedly asked her.
-of course the timing of Wol to give JS her clothing and the king our investigating. Plus of course he saves her from falling and they conveniently see a puppet play love story of the king and servant. Lol Wol pays for them both. Poor YM to see then watching the play. I loved his rapport with his mom. Her wanting to cut her hair she wish got a pretty daughter in law.
- Now Wol is regaining memories stronger and stronger and the shaman got permission to get Wol out. But the previews show the king won’t let her leave the palace until he sorts his unsure & confused feelings with her. He wants her to admit to he YW but she doesn’t .
- Poor King he is a puppet but a bit better than Togon in Empress Ki but not by much.
- The Eunuch HS with his uneven toothy smiles to the king crack me up.
- Woon loyal and stoic after seeing friends giving his message from the king doesn’t bother to stay with friends longer but rather rush back to king.
- Wol is questioning more to the shaman about her past and memories now coming back stronger to her.

@BogumNoona Loved your post. I agree that Jeong Ah's colleague is a "B". Plus HJ manager MJ was right on saying --those who proclaim to be victims are NEVER victims is RIGHT on. I dislike her alot. To threaten her, bully her and make that mess saying I am going to stay over you. Dang. Unfortunately there are REALLY nasty people like her out there. I have minor bullying (not to that extent) but I am sure reality is worse than fiction. Plenty of two faced people in this world. Putting their own insecurities and inadequacies and jealousy of another and blaming that person for it. UGGGGH.
Saw Ep 4 last night after work. Now it is 11am on Wednesday---luckily not busy season at work now.
-Jin U taking alot and being underpaid at his job. I am glad he stood up to the photographer/bully Yang Mujin sunbae. The fact the latter used that is how were trained. (He probably was not lying.) But repeating those habits and demeaning ways ARE not the right way. Glad Jin U left and had his self respect. Also his also saying he rather not have a sunbae like HIM. I am sure he was really pushed to the limit. I agree when he told Hae Hyo that quitting is a luxury ONLY for rich kids like him.
-Loved that all three guys got the shots together (great use of media coverage)
for men to do their part for their female partners sexual health. Loved it! Cute how Hye Jun was first then Hae Hyo and then Jin U. LOL. I personally dislike shots. Since Jin U has to do it three times, is he dragging the guys with him for the other two as well? I guess so yeah? Hye Jun's mom Ae Suk is awesome! She stood up to dad and though she isn't sure about if it is right or not. She is RIGHT that it is bad enough he gets belittled and put down a lot outside. I agree with her to be supportive. The fact he is supporting himself and not ASKING for any support is great. Granted he is unable to help out the family, but he is surviving. It hurt a bit to see dad's preference for the more annoying hyung. Both liking to team up on grandfather and Hye Jun. Glad mom called them out on it while eating the bbq meat.
The scene of Gyeong Jun Hyung at the bank, yeah he has a job. But he is very strict and kind of a pain and stickler. Though those can be good qualities, his lack of customer service skills and lack of EQ awareness is not boding well for him in the bank job. I am sure if after his trial three months, they either fire him or send him elsewhere. The fact his boss Park Su Yeon at Mirae Bank was being sarcastic, Gyeong Jun did not get it. He just kept digging the hole deeper for him to fall into. LOL.
Hye Jun's mom Ae Suk takes a lot from Kim I Yeong (Hae Hyo's mom) emotionally , verbally and materially (ok the latter not much as cast offs) . But unlike her son Gyeong Jun, Ae Suk has common sense EQ in spades. If not, how could she survive dealing with I Yeong? Granted she is a pain, there are more other rich wives who are FAR more worse than her.
Her being helicopter mom wanting Ae Jeong to do her make up and complimenting her after saying next time please go with the hierarchy in the salon. I Yeong (so full of awareness of class and status) likes that about her as well Ae Suk. (Having money and status doesn't make you a better person for sure. My mom always said they were lucky to be born into those families but having wealth is not permanent and can change overnight. We see many dramas and heard stories of formerly rich families go broke over night due to stock market, health incident /injury, or death of the bread winner of the family.) She mentions it alot whenever she is on screen and being supportive meeting reporters and treating them to expensive meals. Buying IG followers and being careful to add them not to alarmingly obvious. We know she met with someone working with casting him in the movie role who kept pestering Hae Hyo over Hye Jun due to his social media following to win him the role for Hae Hyo.
Going back to the support that Hye Jun lacks it is that kind of stuff. His refusing Homme Jung. Sponsorship and being at beck and call and it is a business is not fun and always feel beholden to the other person. Even he was told he was not ambitious enough and he would flounder. So when the designer put more salt into his pride/wound saying your friend is popular due to support. It is not on his own efforts (though Hae Hyo naively thinks so). He has languished and has not gone beyond to be famous despite being handsome but NO backing. Even his new manager Min Jae wants to establish him to get used to acting as better and being a 'star". So from not allowing him to carry trash bags (due to image control) or sitting in the back seat but not with her. I liked that Hye Jun stood up and wants to be humble and modest (to Park Bo Gum's real image). But he will abide to her selectively. I liked that he told her. But she is also using her marketing skills developing relationships with reporters too as well. You have to have them on your side.
**** I am still fuming at Hae Hyo's manager snide comment to Hye Jun about why you in the shop if you have no schedule?! RUDE.
Even last episode when Hae Hyo's friends were grateful and happy saying they could 'breathe easy" and be themselves without Hye Jun (attached at the hip) with him. It is all the same class and I can see why he likes Jin U and Hye Jun as they are more real and not snobbish. I like that Hae Hyo's dad wanted him to be exposed to other kids not just from the same social class. I respect his dad alot. But why did Hae Hyo have to say a white lie that those snooty guys missed his presence? UGGGH
Alot has been written about our OTP for this episode. I loved it. They are so natural and charismatic together. Just their visuals makes me think that the title of this drama is so appropriate and right gift from Park Bo Gum to his fans. Also glad to see Park So Dam in this drama post Parasite fame. She has a natural charm I love about her. The sweetness of her smile matches the sweet smiles and puppy dog eyes of Park Bo Gum. When he met up with her and then they ate together and had drinks. He cutely took care of her. She is adorbs. Later when he tells her to never go drinking with another (ooooh sensing a bit of possessiveness cause she is TOO cute). Or the fact she has never been in love. She def is more confident and chattier than being sober. He got to know her really well. I loved he was a source of strength for her and she reminded him she chose him out of all the stars/entertainers out there. I think he was touched. Also she with her strict principles stars/fans should be separate. So her saying she will stop fangirling if they are becoming closer as friends is cute. Hye Jun wants to help her and I like Jeong Ah told him her hair salon battle with Jin Ju sunbae. I love that at least Soo Bin is on her side and Yang So Min salon director has EQ sense.
Grandpa so eager to go to the modeling academy and chatting with another grandfather saying his grandson is great as his family are not interested. But again due to his using banmal, grandpa has to set status/order by asking his age. One thing I always noticed with Koreans---making sure everyone is ADDRESSED correctly due to age/status/job etc. One thing in the West many of my Korean friends LOVE about our culture.
I think it is cute that Jin U's family is close to Hyo Jun and flowed that Jin U and Hye Jun are close to Hae Hyo. Guessing Jin U is dating and Hae Hyo saying is it Hae Na (jokingly) but not realizing of course it is the truth. Hae Na knows they are dating but will have to break up. Cute how they hold hands in her car and decide to go to the next level. In the last episode, she said let's eat ramen. We know that it stands for Netflix and chill. But they really ate ramen in the convenience store. LOL. They are both heading for heartache but enjoying their time together.
Hae Hyo telling Jeong Ah she is going to do his filming shoot and sweet he is saying she can do Hyo Jun's make up too. Seeing how Hyo Jun taunt Park Do Ha , he loves his role. And seeing Lee Min Jae facing off with Tae Su (ugggh) at the elevator when PDH tried to snub and take another elevator. But when it did not work as planned they all were in the elevator. LOL loved how Hyo Jun relished being the rich chaebol to beat up Park Do Ha's character. Then when the latter whined he changed the script, I LOVED how Director Choi Se Hun loved his improvisations! YES! Hyo Jun is shining and so happy he got the chance! (As we see in the preview Hae Hyo will see Hyo Jun's acting unleashed).
Hyo Jun negotiating with Lee Min Jae his contract. LOL how he said 7 years was too long (think of SM and other idol making companies) and then she was trying to help him out. Her constant if you look at me that way, I will cave in to you. So in the end for the 1 year and 50/50 was a great compromise. He has to go to military, she is starting out too and I loved they have a great rapport. Plus that elevator face off was awesome. Tae Su making jabs at Min Jae not getting married ---oooh old Confucian /traditional ways of thinking. (As a single woman who never married, bravo Min Jae!)
Looking forward to next week's episodes! Next week cannot come fast enough! Fall is finally here in New England, sweater weather and pumpkin everything and apple cider! Yummy. Going to eat a pumpkin scone with my lunch today. Hehehe.

@Lyna Thanks for your comments about JY, JK and SA. I agree their situation is not simple but you brought up good points I thought of too. Yes the time JK knew JY for 15 years. But time and quality are not the same as pointed out with JK and SA with JY.

Todays episode quick thoughts
- SA and HN finish their internships. HN got big flowers from BF. The chat at the hangout after work and interest in SA dating question for her wink ‘pal’. I think annoying guy said it right, JY is interested. As we know not so simple. Young In contacts JY but he with HH but shares with the group he is busy . We know SA will think he is with JK but we know it’s not the case.
-JK breaking up with HH and being cruel in front of Cha Young In (I loved she asked SA to keep in touch!) with SA bearing witness. Plus JK mentioning for her to butt out and she knew JY 15 years.
-Poor JY finding out he owes more than he knows to Jk grandmother and the foundation. When he told HH I worked all these years and competitions /concerts I only have $3,000 in my bank account. Constantly supporting his family no wonder he doesn’t love the piano. It is a source of earning money only. A means to an end. Learning his mom is sick needing $20,000 for mom’s surgery and that mom decided instead directly going to JK grandmother but to him. The anguish for him to hear it. Knowing JK wants to help them over the years, makes him be even more reluctant to be with her. Even if he had warm feelings the reality and imbalance already don’t help.
-JK going to CEO Yoon finding out about SA and him when he said like you and JY (in terms of closeness). Awkward when he defends HH to JK and asks her to be nicer to him. Later when he went to drinks with friends, MS assured him she was ok. So when talks of setting him up, good for her to ask to be set up too. Though it seemed half hearted attempt.
I am glad finally watching the scene why she decided not to be friends with JY. Only to comfort him but not share your concerns and burdens is one sided , selfish and not a true friendship/relationship. Plus she contacted with good news he didn’t ask her. ( granted he was distracted. He initially was going to call her but mom called then JK grandmother it snowballed.) It was forward and brave of her to say to JY. Plus after the internship not like she will hang out with him too. Better to end a friendship to start liking him and be in pain.
Guess CEO Yoon was not liking SA enough and they will always be friends but he does find her attractive.
SA kindly talking to Jiwon ‘s mom about competing and to allow her to flourish and enjoy the instrument and process. It was great as she is seeing too many resent their instruments losing the joy they had with their instrument of choice.
HH didn’t share with JY his breakup saying its a phase in total denial. Wow even after JK cruelly told him to stop wearing the ring. Then saying you have nothing to offer me how you going to marry me?! So JY feels comfy to see him to share about his mom and struggles with finances. HH seems checked out to JY thanks to JK.
JK grandmother frustrated with JY but still after 15 years supportive of him. Though he lacks money he has status and fame。 Then JY accepting lessons again from his teacher realizing despite sabbatical reality of lack of money . Uggh
JY signing autographs and seeing SA running after her. Seems some time has passed since her declaration of not wanting to be his friend. She was so beautiful and brave tearing up confessing after lying to him she was ok. He really wanted to talk to her。Bravo for her confession. We know not easy for her. But we know JY doesn’t have it easy either.
interesting Prof Lee wanting SA to go to grad school with her. We know she was not kind talking of her but if she is a good worker and has sense then as her assistant that’s helpful as you don’t have to play for that role. Being dead last in the sept is constantly said to SA I want to give her a big hug.
As others have shared he probably denies liking her to protect SA from gossip. I mean the auditions needed last minute judge replacement due to two professors dating & breaking up. HH and JK breaking up the trip with JY to not play at the upcoming Foundation Gala.

@Jillia Agreed every relationship is GIVE and TAKE. If it is one sided it is not good for either parties and one party can get tired/exhausted or under appreciated. I agree with you totally. Even with dating it cannot be giving on side too, def a balance is key.

Hello everyone!
I finally saw the finale last night after a busy weekend.
OMG the ending of my first weekend family drama. It had its up and downs with Leech story line (wrapped up ) with YS asking YD is getting her payments on time as she is now managing a tangerine farm (I am guessing on Jeju Island. I did get to pick some tangerines at a farm on Jeju when I visited a few years ago.)
Cute to see the parents dance in place of OJ and Butcher Yang. Good to see that they married and she is a helpful wife getting customers and mentioning to YD about the price increase on the chickens. I thought it weird that Butcher Yang did not mention it . We don't see their wedding but still good to see they are well.
Seeing alot of GJ and NH and the babies (makes sense they ARE the OTP). The fraternal twins are cute and that GJ is such a sappy and fussy dad (so appropriately him). I loved their exercise to voice out concerns and talk holding hands (though cheezy) it keeps them in touch with each other and communicating (what they lacked before) to not let it fester and when they felt hurt . Bravo!
The moms meeting up and doing well. Great to see GJ mom cured and that the moms decided to live well and stay healthy. Also how they cutely reminisced when younger (but it was a bit ridiculous seeing our actresses dressed as school girls though.) To have two children married to each other and grandchildren too. Cute how GJ mom fibbed the kids were good to put NH and him at ease while she WAS struggling with the grandkids.
Funny to see the stunt guys still dating the gimbap gals now nail shop gals. All in their gangster getup (for the drama/movie) and being 100% supportive of their gals. The slight cut on his cuticle, even the fussy hyung was still--no worries I am fine. (Good good.)
YS and the director (It would have been nice to see him but understandable we did not) are in dating and just enjoying each others company is fine. Companionship is lovely and no need for more if both are ok. Plus great seeing her take over the role as President from her oppa. She is fierce and great when she handled the new clothing store tenant in the market. Awww she came around full circle there but in the process found her long lost oppa/has a family/boyfriend/biz roots now in a community.
DH and JS are cute. He is still helpful cooking and making breakfast. I love they still visit his mom (even after living 2 yrs together--their relationship was not ruined by strengthened. Their camping adventures and how DH thought it was would a certain way all romanticized when the reality was harsh--no stars, burnt rice and mini fire plus rain. Despite that rocky start, they are happy and working hard.
GH and JH are cute. He is so handsome and doing well. GH is doing well with her online mall with staff and getting hit on by the photographer. I agree being able to show she is dating a bronze medalist who is young and handsome. Glad she has something to smile and he does too.
JS and family, awwww so cute and they went through alot when the parents were separated, SY was rebelling and SJ still could not talk. So when DH was counseling the mom with her daughter like SJ not talking, i loved she shared she understands and she should be patient like her niece and brother and sister in law were. I wonder how long SY is still getting bribes from GH to not tell the parents. I mean 3 yrs later they are dating and parents do not know? (We will never know if they ever came out to them.)
OTP got me to interested in reading the blurb and Sadon couple clips in beginning on YOUTUBE got me hooked that I marathoned the first 16 episodes in a few days. It has been a long journey but thanks all for being there with me. I enjoyed it immensely and see you around. I know I see a few already.

I agree with @Jillia our ML has no luxury to be in a relationship. I was RIGHT that our FL SA confessed to JY. That is brave of her considering she couldn't say anything to CEO YOON due to her friend MS. Thanks to our foundation boss Cha Young In is fierce and AWESOME!
Poor JY finding out his mom is sick and did not know after sending JK grandmother to the hospital that is hard.
Future angst for our SA to be in between both JK and JY. Glad she laid bare how she felt. But JY is not in the right headspace to date her. He is attracted but having his long time crush confess and then financial burdens, lack of enthusiasm for piano (his bread and butter) is alot to handle for anyone.
Ok back to work but appreciate everyone's else's posts/explanations etc.

-PBG IS the ML. He does it so well. I love PSD as the FL so much too.
I like right now their getting to know each other is natural/organic and not too contrived.
I did agree that after she showed lots of stuff liking him when trying to share about senior models to him, she could not deny NOT being his fan. Yes, he was nice to walk away to save her the embarrassment but she also did not want to to be deemed a liar by him either.
-Grandpa and ML are LIFE in this drama. Them both doing a pretend catwalk. He was just adorbs. I liked that FL told him that you are limiting him and not believing it. But after her talk he was almost there to have him do it. @ponderings Thanks for the back story of the senior model in Korea (his cameo) . I did not know about him. But he was FIERCE and def has character. He has a compelling face too.
-Seeing more of ML mom with his BFF mom and their relationship. BFF mom is a pain and privileged. ML mom is a sweetie pie and yes swallowing your pride and not having a big ego ---you cannot do this job. Also when she offered to let ML know when he was young she was working there. I loved how ML at that time as a teen was mature enough to differentiate the financial necessity her job working at BFF Mom place. They were not in position to be choosy. But also mom mentioned not having other skills really and she liked cleaning and organizing and getting experience there. Later we learn she could go elsewhere it is loyalty in a way. But she is a sweetie pie--her patience and dealing with BFF mom is amazing.
We see BFF son showing he doesn't want to rely on his mom. But she makes it obvious to ML mom you got to support them. She is excessive we know. Her son wants to do it on his own but he is naive to think it is without help. ML mom letting her know that not helpful to be too supportive if her son finds out. But not easy system. You need the help but if relying on your ability, it is like her son's situation without a sponsor.
Love MJ and ML together. I totally relate to her home. She is awesome and cute he brought her the fave snack she likes. I liked that he brought money to reimburse her and that she went ahead to make biz cards of JJAMPONG Entertainment. Loved she found out that it was not LACK of talent the director did not cast him but due to his lack of social media following. I love her spunk and finding her path in life. Their interactions are LIFE and cute. I dislike the BFF manager his snide comments--oh why you at the salon then if you have no work/gig? UGGGGH.
BFF standing up saying he wants FL as his make up artist not the one his mom wants. Wow that was bold and glad the hair salon manager was fast on the uptake and catering to the client (as should be). FL cannot do anything so when she did that --I was like YESH. But earlier in the episode, the bride who was a bit of bridezilla not liking the m ake up and her having to do it again sigh. When she was doing BFF make up, he tried to be nice and she was icing him out was funny. I did enjoy him saying wanting/looking forward to seeing the "mess" when she just enjoyed fan girling from afar. LOL. It helps they already had candid chats on stuff before that confession she is ML fan.
The moments of them hanging out consoling and chatting and encouraging each other. Or candid talk about money (so true it is taboo). Yeah money is ddong. You need it but can cause lots of problem. Then both sharing what managers/sunbaes said that were annoying to them and their pact to not be like that is adorbs. Looking happy doesn'tmean you ARE happy ie the kids she saw while sitting outside the cafe. Being realistic about finances and not buying expensive cafe drinks (they are expensive) but glad she let ML take her to treat to a latte. The trope of having some on your lip. LOL neither tried to wipe it off the others face.. Grandpa being charming calling FL pretty and no woman in this world dislikes being called pretty. (He is a smooth talker in deed). The affection between them is deep.
The rain with umbrella as they walk and talk about dating. How ML has alot of rain on him and making her pull closer to him. Def both have sparks /awareness. From moving their heads closer together and pulling back is cute. His being sweet I will call when it rains as she said she felt lonely. Seeing all the flashbacks from dealing with the receipt issues, seeing all the couples and people paired up during that rainy time at the bus stop.
Looking forward to seeing how mom is with dad .
Cute how she was like --you realize how harsh you are to son ML? When he asked to get meat for bbq and he said i was in his shoes.
I look forward to the OTP talks about now he wants to know WHY she is his fan?

- Dang I knew that young violinist was rude but with subs I wanted to drop her down a peg or too like her Cha manager nim. Love she cares for SA and told her to lot have to hold it in with rude folks. SA is a pro and lent her shoes & did explode and said the end result performance is important. Seeing her looking forlorn standing on the sidelines and waiting for the violinist. I am glad JY wrote to Seung Ah violinist nim. I said before and I will say again I squealed for her!
Def trying to make up after the talk concert. @ponderings pointed out how the Credit Card still was a bit rude but only overly too much catering to JK. I mean she knew to tell JY I am here to keep them in line. Their interaction was her clinging to JY. She cares for him 15 years but I doubt she loves him the way he had his one sided love. Like her with HH, JY is not the one her grandmother would approve of anyway. Her talk with HH to know his place and using power/connections wisely not always about natural talent and hard work. If he is a professor then he is a social status match to JK and JY and not trailing them. See this in ROY, best friends from different economic situations and does cause some uneven feelings.
MS was brave to confess to CEO Yoon but he continued to reject her. He is consistent. When the student care to fix her violin , he mentioned knowing SA, but the parent never heard of her. Of course we know she is not one with money /connected/or talented. So nice CEO Yoon said but she is pretty. ( I wonder his harboring a liking to her too and avoiding saying anything thanks to MS? Plus he went to the military too. )
i like seeing he found CEO Yoon his passion for fixing stringed instruments when his passion and desire for violin waned. So seeing SA made him appreciate her enthusiasm & he quit. SA still striving herself to play better and passion but she know her last place level will never get her to be a concert violinist. Or SA dad asking if she had natural talent. Poor SA.
Prof Lee with SA manager trying to defend her interns and interesting that the Prof will work with SA with offer next month. Was it because of SA manager nim?!
Their cute walk and JY saying he is happy just bring with SA. These two I just cannot hold my excitement to their sweetness.

@rukizie Ow cool ! I have been watching Korean dramas myself for 17 years myself. I don't miss the days of virus/ seeing bad subs in bad grammar English from Chinese subs. When legal sites came up,I was happy. Loved fan subs for saeguks with explanations that Dramafever (did lack I noticed).

I just saw all the clips for this new episode during my lunch time.
JY changing the song he was playing. Though he was going to play the song for SA, seeing JK, he changed it. Later when SA thanks JK, JY walks up to her. JK wanted to hear the song. JY just saying that song NO LONGER has any special meaning. (WOW def more drawing the line.) JK is hurt and confesses she loves JY. She will break up with HH. JY was cool and when he told her his rejection. Wow. Bravo. He doesn't need to be in their messy situation. Later when SA (concerned) goes back he makes sure she leaves as saying everything is done. (The rude Credit Card guy is more careful to ask SA --SA ssi instead of intern nim/intern ssi etc. when asked to clear up and wrap up the event.) I liked how JY asked where SA was and went to her. As priorly noted, he wrote "to violinist SA" I squealed when i saw what he wrote. After the rude violinist performer was putting SA down. She needed that encouragement. It was a timely present though belated as she did ask for a signature. But so meaningful.
Glad SA told JY that he did not know what it felt for someone wanting talent but only having desire and passion. JY is in a funk but glad SA is giving him the other side (her perspective). Yes he is in a funk, depressed, not having fun. But then did he EVER have real joy and fun playing piano? He has been playing to win and support his family and be grateful to JK Grandmother and the foundation as showing his appreciation. I am glad SA said there more people with no talent who would love to have his abilities.
Still making him conscious of the other side --as he doesn't know it and she does.
SA lending her shoes. The violinist was a so annoying. The comment she made the downlow slap in the face to SA saying she calls herself a violinist. DANG. Her boss love Cha Young In checking in on SA. Comforting her and SA assuring her it is better to have a good show. Such a hard worker and team player, but I agree with her boss saying no need to hold it in and take that behaviour. Then to see that JY is sitting next to JK. SHe admits not knowing he would be there. Awkward. But I loved how JY was constantly looking and carefully attentive and noting seeing SA when the side door with the performers were entering the stage.
JK Grandmother seeing HH and offering a teaching position. He was like but isn 't it for JK. She counters she has stuff she wants to do. I am your side. Glad she is giving him the position and went to him at his parent's store.
JK going to HH and FINALLY breaking up with HH. When he overheard at the after party of the performance the violinist was like to her parents how she saw her at JY concert but wanted to say hi but she was unable to. So of course HH is devastated to hear the truth. So at the pojangmacha. she finally does what she should have done eons ago. Poor HH but it was unevitable and clawing at straws when the other person is no longer present in the relationship is not fair to him. Lying to JY last episode about getting married to JK as a warning. But HH flip side says to JK the couple rings have NO special meaning---oh sure.
MS confessing to CEO Yoon. (Not a break up as they were not dating. Granted they did eons before, their night together after drinking is NOT a relationship). I have to give props to her to finally admit out loud her liking him despite him cruelly saying not nice things after their night together. She has closure finally but still uncomfortable but glad it was done.
CEO Yoon and HH chat and our finding about his story with SA. Awwww he had similar funk then too with violin. But seeing someone so passionate and loving violin with a strong desire and passion after hearing SA play. To realize it was not her major but hobby. He was felt a bit awe I sensed in her. He realized that he was not as passionate as this student/hoobae about the instrument as he should be. So that explains his willingness to tutor SA. He is acknowledgement of her passion to achieve her dreams. The speech he made in support of her despite all others being against her decision. Makes it more poignant and why SA started her one sided crush. Awww makes sense now. I wonder if when he was dating MS (was it around time after he met SA or before he tutored SA.) Curious about the timing but then again it really is not a big plot point now.
OMG -yup JY is so sweet. As mentioned before his walking and calling SA. OMG smooth and then asking her out to meet up for dinner. SA just being so cute and immediately answering she was free (no game/hesitation) sweet. Also her knowing where he was when he said he was not home. That scene where the meet up and he just is smiling and she is too.These two cute shy awkward puppies. Then go to them hanging out and he saying to go for the walk along the old city wall. I know about this already from seeing this clip (partially) over the weekend but still flutteryt to watch. JY saying he feels better being with SA. Her wishing him to be ok and not stressed. Their shy smiles and the backs of their hands touching but not really.

Glad that SA has chance thanks to her professor to do something with the violin (YEAH).
SA with JY and saying she doesn't want to be friends. I feel (hope) it is for going that step. (SA has her moments of bravery and I hope it is it. If that is the case, dang she is fast but knows her mind.) Plus JY gave her signals. Granted he is on sabbatical and enjoys being with her, he is in a funk. But he is cheered up when with her and is all shy awkward smiles. Their lovely dance hanging out and liking each other is so fluttery. I hope it is the case. I think JK mentioning the 15 yrs might give SA pause but not really. I agree , if you had that much time and did nothing. should have nothing to do with SA in this case. She has her own situation. The preview teasing from colleagues seems like she def asks love /dating advice referring to JY. If we are trolled I will be a bit annoyed (as I admit these previews do troll you.) But if she wants to draw a line to stay away from JY that is sad. I don't them to be only business like with each other.
I look at our potential OTP and cannot help smiling.
