Thank you thank you everyone for all the info/work/recaps/bts/clips etc. Ep 8 was great!

I caught the subbed ep 8 right now.

@bebebisous33 Thanks for your thoughts and happy vacation. I kind of sensed the importance of the scenes at beginning setting the tone and big idea of it being HJ's story and the importance in that episode of the scene. So loved your explanation. Thank you very insightful.

Just a bunch of my ramblings and thanks for your patience. :-)

WOW! I like the progression of the relationship and HJ leaning towards JH. A lot of people already echoed my thoughts on a many levels.

Can I say, YD uncle was cute and did try to flirt still. When HJ waited for him after SC surgery he just brushed her off saying I will tell you when we eat together. I loved how she was persistent and he was like-you don't believe in me? His cute "it was a success" so aegyo and cutie like. LOL. Yes JH doesn't think his pal is any threat to him and HJ. He loves to flirt but as someone pointed out he could not tell him to stop and say she is mine as HJ wasn't his officially yet.

We got to see YD trying his AEGYO with the "claws" motion another person does a cute version but his is a tiger is the current SuHo in Lucky Romance. He was adorbs liking how she was smiling and looking at him. When he said he ate well HJ dad's food and saw her not smile. He was gauging her reactions. Cute cute. I am impressed by him being cheesy and saying girls like it and that he admitted liking her and wanting to eat at the cafeteria with her before the surgery. It is a date and rushing off not allowing her to refuse him. LOL. Yeah. I hope he continues to like her and not be "evil" second lead. Somehow I don't see that. He doesn't want power or status and avoids it. I hope he continues to like her and protect her from SW. The fact when he left SW after the dinner date with her and her grandpa and dad---he said he would risk the jinx of HJ that SW warned him about her.

I liked as I mentioned before YD did not think blindly and lets decision about others can be changed. Such as he even bet his car that SW was not bullied by HJ but felt confident it was the other way around. Especially since he knew that HJ did not out his being unable to rescue or save her from the knife wielding madman who wanted to kill the gangster. So he knew she was not one who just gossiped around along with hard working and giving as good as she got. Like he thought her not sincere returning his Vm with a text though not out of turn he just wanted to see HJ and had to find an excuse. Or being surprised when HJ yet again saved him from the running guy--saying uh shouldn't the guy save you? He always is in these weird situations with HJ. LOL. YD is getting slowly closer to HJ as he is similar to HJ grandmother. He may be weird but simple and direct. He has a temper and is proper and goes by the rules. But I like that YD also keeps his eyes open and though may hear stuff from others AHEM SW he still later will let the truth of others actions win him over ie HJ. From HJ thanking him for his help (though he was mortified) to showing him some fighting moves nor trying to impress him. She was quick to say I was the troubled child for HJH not his fave. Plus I was expelled too. So YD realizes that when SW fake acts nice saying she was respecting HJ privacy not disclosing to him earlier --he was like she told me directly. YD mentioned I might have known you 10 years I am finally seeing sides of you never seen before (but they are not attracting YD unfortunately but doing the opposite) UGGGH coming from SW it is gossip about HJ's background and seriously WHAT trauma from HJ? The fact HJH liked HJ and not her? Or fact that SH finally woke up and decided to let go of bossy and not looking at SH equally as a pal but a gopher? Oh woe is me -poor me is not making me sympathetic to her. She may be rich, pretty and smart. Her family especially coddled her made her arrogant and entitled. Even YD knew her for 10 years but never felt a SPARK for her. Telling she is never going to get out of that zone with him. HJ has something about her. SW is pretty and all that but she is in her bubble. Even when others say her current bestie YK, she is not kind or good to him. I don't think he LOVES SW but he likes her friendship allows him to slide with others until HJ told him straight be prepared whenever you report to me. Sounds so like what YD would say. Nepotism doesn't work for HJ as she is clawing her way with hard work and nothing. As SW dad likes HJ type those from not top rated schools as they are not complacent and hungry.

Puppy is cute. Sad he overdrank and had to be helped at the end of the welcome party scene. He sang alot,, drank alot and loved how he called HJ our pretty doctor when he handed her -her drink. Or when HJ dad passed his business card he looked at HJ's expression and did not linger after thanking him for the delicious food. He recalled the comment from the talk when over HJ's dad food. He learned that her biological dad and maybe his blog posting on the good food might not earn him more brownie points with HJ. (We know HJ did not crack a smile when YD admitted eating well the food from HJ's dad.)

There is no perfect family. I think it is good that HJ dad wants to get back to together. But he did not work hard enough. Even if he did or was clueless to his second wife's treatment of HJ (if she hid it well from him) she is not nice. He would have a tough time caring as usually the wife has more time with the child than the father. But he is WRONG to expect auto acceptance and a warm welcome back from HJ. She has a RIGHT to be upset. Seriously he said she just left? well hello you did dump her at grandmothers and admitted cutting ties with her at that time I think he did her a favor not realizing the reason she acted out was cry for help and attention. No parents are perfect but with stress and wanting things to go smoothly he was at his wits ends. But despite it all I hope he continues to try to make amends to HJ. She deserves to have a family. I do like the step sister. She seems kinds and is aware about her mom and maybe just maybe aware how vile her own mom's tongue is too. She did notice how her dad misses HJ and kindly asked for the phone number so he could call her. Very thoughtful daughter.

HJH---I love KRW the actor. He is killing it as HJH. I loved him first seeing him in Rooftop Cat. Here he mixes the childishness, sexy, manly, man child, teasing and just lovely sides of himself. From his kicking stuff and throwing the stuffed animal showing his childish jealousy. He knew it but it was still the early stages and he asked HJ to let him go to him. He knew she let him kiss her was a big step. Plus the hug was good. He still was on pins and needles still with her. Not sure 100% her feeling back to him. So when HJ was distraught over SC he is jealous as he is in precarious situation. But as pointed out by others, the look of man to man eyeing each other after the surgery. He wanted to hold HJ waist when he thought he was getting a thank you hug but only had teasing HJ adjusting his collar that did not need adjusting. (But it shows us HJ is totally reciprocating and warming up to him) So cute how he says his heart is feeling fluttery. AWWWW.

JH had to check SC out. But when SC asked if he was married? He is like no. And you? Yes. So the joy on JH face was lovely and he felt like a ton of bricks lifted. So SC is NOT my competition. PHEW! He thought they were flirting (when SC was in the hospital when the initially caught up) so now he knows. Funny how SC did not correct him saying he is divorced. Still even if he said that, that would not make or dull his happiness and if he added he had a kid that would not help his suit with HJ. As we know, HJ thinks of him as a cool man and sibling but never as someone she wanted to date. So makes sense he was jealous. I loved how he was easily able to catch the stuffed animals, playing with GLEE the games at the arcade even if he was horrible and lost to HJ he did not care. He has his pride to win but to his lady love he is just fully of joy and just being her, seeing her joy and laugh was enough. Yes love has its childish sides. Loved it! Even when he tried to do the same drinking trick as HJ and failing miserably TWICE to the point of a headache and reddish forehead he still laughed it off.Almost outing that HJ is not a girl but guy but HJ had to stop him. (He loves all sides of HJ) How can you not love this goofy man child?! But the finale of this episode was excellent how he marveled this girl is the first to hold my hand first. Then he KNEW she liked him back for sure.

@jadecloud Awww thanks dear! I am lucky it I just want to write and share. Thanks for even if people would read my ramblings that are out of order.

I might have to hold back and not write so many long ramblings due to work tomorrow will be hard. Sigh but it does make me happy. I just watched the drama ep 7 with subs. So I got some details rounded out that I could not catch.

Glad I was not too far off on some things and enjoying the ride.

Sorry about SC though and I am thinking either 1) he dies 2) he doesn't die but is not the same again. As for the archer---she has side effects but I think the blindness is just temporary.

I do agree with others, I like that HJ step sister is sweet and not overly pushy. The fact she says she is not alone anymore made her happy.

Puppy Kang Soo--love him. So cute!

Thanks all for your recaps/videos/ thoughts /art etc. Seriously glad I got to catch the raw ep 7 during lunch break. I just couldn't wait and helps boss was out of the office! Yeah. My Korean is here and there but enough to get the jist.

-How cute that even though HJ knew JH was going to kiss her and in the voice over she was telling herself --oh KISS I must avoid. Though it looked awkward she LET JH kiss her because she does like him. The look of surprise and running away and the cute grin of happiness on JH face chasing her was cute. As others have written already what is said---so cute JH.

- JH knew that he had to go slow. As we all have said, 13 years of study and their separation she AVOIDED relationships and boys. It is further substantiated later when she tells her dad she has NO PLANS to marry so she won't need him in her life. Or the fact she mentioned the time she needed her father has passed and she is ok living without him. Even Ji Soo's character still harbors liking HJ when SH caught him looking nostalgic after meeting up with her the next day (when SW confronted him (you still like HJ?) and told him HJ is now a big shot doctor). Did not help that SH did not want him to look her up at the hospital, though glad Ji Soo's character did). Or even when YD wants reward for operating on her stepmom. She said thanks to YD. But he was not appeased and wanted to eat together. Then when she said ok to the cafe, he was like---ugh I want to go out. Then HJ said we are not in that type of relationship/closeness to warrant that type of thanks for this favor. YD immediately says he will pay so they can go. Just as HJ seems to want to answer back SW interrupts and CORRECTLY assesses YD wanting to ask HJ out to eat.

-Does SW really love YD? I am not sure. She likes he fits --background, education and looks and is tall. He fits what the family would approve. When YD tries to console her and she confesses full out, "I love you." YD is frustrated and keeps saying I am a bad man. When she wants to extract a promise for the next few months to not like anyone. YD looks guilty as the heart likes who it likes and he is already starting to like someone so he doesn't answer that promise/request. SW is not blind and shocks YD with her intuition it is HJ. As SW says, no duh he is so busy always working he has no time to meet or date or get interested in anyone new outside of the hotel . Yup right. Good YD called her buddy YK to take care and console her as he is not good at it.

-YK is cute to take SW to SH's place. Yes SW was rude to blatantly ignore SH's greeting. When YK realized she is not 26 if she is friends with SW he got a promise from SH for "service" -free stuff/discounts or of the like. Cute how YK is like here is our CEO. SH is huffy that SW wants her to pour drinks. Def jealous of HJ and SH. Sul Choo comes in and makes a delivery. Of course she has to drunkenly follow him out and be like. Don't you know me? yes I know you. Want me to tell you about HJ. Good for him to be like-you are drunk. SW keeps saying she is NOT friends with HJ but in this case drunk SW will only acknowledge to SC to have him 'recognize' her. Well she did blurt out HJ is a big shot doctor next door.

-SH washing HJ hair. She is such a friend. When she realizes HJ cannot lie when she asked until where are you with JH? When HJ automatically covers her mouth and at first DENIES the kiss then caught nods her head. SH looked like a proud mommy! Finally our HJ is moving along and I worried about you and the future for you not to get married and I would feel guilty to you if I left you to get married and have my own family. Awww SH. Then of course she asks if she talked to her dad. SH is right she should talk to her dad and mend things or at least communicate. IE Who will give you away when you marry? Cute how she says teacher is quick but then says yeah he WAITED a long time so that is not fast then. Love these two.

-SC looks out for SH the next day. He smiles when SH told him she mentioned seeing him to HJ. Def still has feelings for HJ but obviously no reciprocated or she just did not act on them. He was kind to her and very caring ---making sure she had rides and getting her around safely (as we know from before). When he wants to visit HJ next door SH is vehemently against it. I think she thinks HJ would be uncomfortable to have someone like "him" blue collar and not looking a certain way to find her.

-AAAAHHHHA YD and JH both coming out at the same time to go to work. Cool that JH was like coolly saying- today I am not bugging you for a ride to work. Later we cut to them commuting together. LOL. The air of awkwardness and YD tries music and then hears hospital and news then JH tries to review his notes or something. Definitely awkward.

-KTH and HJH are cute. Talking about work and stuff and then KTH was denied and could not pay having JH needing to pick up the tab. LOL. Love their bromance.

-Now puppy YD is happy to get the text and runs and leaves abruptly to talk to HJ. He is satisfied with the short curt text. (Normally it is ok and not rude as he admitted). But he thought more feeling or acknowledgement or praise for taking on the case. I did not get the bulk of what is said but along the lines we have a complicated relationship Step mom and I and don't expect me to bed over backwards about it. Even he said why did you note tell me initially it was your family? But he is not satisfied and when she just leaves him (something I am SURE he would have done before) he has to find excuse to follow her. He has it bad when he has his 'heart beating rapidly" when with Hyejung. Yup he has it bad. Saying I wonder. HJ is just confused as well. Makes her more charming, not realizing her appearance and it self causes interest or guys to like her. (I admit I missed the gangster patient today.) YD goofy grin when the elevator doors closed was cool.

-When HJ saved him from the running person DR---it was funny how she coolly fixed her hair and walked away and he was like--what just happened? Shouldn't it be me saving you?! Huh? Guy in distress not damsel---hahahaa.

-When HJ walks away from YD and his uncle calls out for him, cute HJ just avoiding and going on her way to avoid the cheesy uncle. When they all converge at JH office. The uncle was funny with flirty hair flip and JH shoving him into the office to stop him mid flirt and smiley HJ into the office. Poor YD wanted in but JH as said before in the preview---it is our thing. So babyish of YD being upset and saying loudly before he goes "yup uhum I am busy too." (Like the people inside care what he says.)

-OMG I love the smiles between HJ and JH and not much awkwardness. She is totally comfortable finally. Definitely good that seems like YD's uncle and JH pal said stuff about the case and not sure what. But there is a bit more looking and digging. When HJ goes out to do it. JH again offers his help. HJ saying again I know you are sincere and want to help but this is my matter and I want to resolve or do it. Up to this point you did alot. When she mentions something related to his schedule, JH is so excited. He is like so fluttery you know my schedule. HJ is cute saying of course I should be aware as I am your fellow. That did bring down JH's happiness a little bit (knocked down a peg) but not by too much. LOL

-I forget when, JH is HJ to be assisting for the Olympic Archer surgery she is over the moon. The look of happiness and naturally grabbing JH hand makes them both happy. Yup giving chances to learn and operate are good for you both.

-SW encounters a happy HJ who inquires are fellows usual doing these types of surgeries. She is surprised not often and no fellows not usually are involved (if i got it correct not sure). So when HJH calls for the meeting of the four of them. It was funny how to clarify who is fellow for who--himself or JYD. When SW realizes and changes her mind wanting to go with JH, YD is ok with it but then when HJ is asked she defers I think. Then JH has a cute way of saying cutely their -who wants who and in the ends says---JH is having HJ. But allows SW to assist in this surgery this once.

-Loved KS doing rounds with HJ and that the kind and happy patient is leaving and wants to make sure there is some dduk (rice cakes to share with all). Timing would have it SC comes and wants to see HJ. When he is told she is not in and they would call him back he knows he is being blown off so he resorts to sitting and waiting for her. YK calls the nurses to warn HJ to not come around or come in. KS and HJ come by and as she is trying to eat the dduk from KS, YK in vain tries to hide her line of vision from seeing SC. After having difficulty eating the piece of dduk, she glares at YK. Opens up to see SC, the wink from him and her look of pure joy! (DEF happy they left off on good terms-not surprised just more that they did not keep in touch.) When the nurses were like who is he? She is loudly saying--he is my friend.

-scenes with the Step mom so annoying. YD doesn't really care for her and she complains to YD and KS to be rushed and about the discount. How come she has to wait? She cannot believe absorb or believe that HJ is a great and respected surgeon at the hospital. KS is cute saying you are getting great treatment because you are HJ's mom.

-When HJ's step sis came (I like her) she passes the family info to her (register?). She is blunt asking HJ do you hate me? (I like she communicates with HJ.) HJ is like there is no emotions or feelings at all so no I don't hate you. She is cute saying I like you unni. (Awww it would nice if they can build a relationship). Also she wants HJ and her dad to be happy and repair their fractured relations or try to talk at least so good for her. Much prettier heart than her own mom.

-I did not care for the other scenes of SW dad and I think YD's dad drinking away on their campaign to smear JH's adoptive dad.

-Loved seeing jealous HJH with YD and others have noted how HJH is like why is he here? YD is like you know him? JH no I don't. Still you could tell he wants to rip away SC from HJ due to jealousy. As we know it was SC who got HJ and she was taken away from him (that final farewell in front near the hospital). Then when she takes him to catch up, SC does ask I thought you being a big shot doctor would avoid me. She is like you took care of me how are you? Yup we know he is divorced and has a cute son like him. He wants to make a better life. She misses his cool image on the bike. (NO so that is why he rides the bike the next day ---a last hurrah for her to see him on it). Trying to be a show off and being reckless did not help either before the sad ending.

-They end their reunion with HJ dad calling (the sis got her number from our puppy KS). They meet and it is awkward. I think he does love HJ but with stresses of being a dad, working and a wife and a rebellious daughter he did not know what to do with her. HJ as others have translated admitted not trusting love or men and being like her mom (as we see earlier in the episode) so she doesn't know how to accept love. So normal women being able to see the signs of love or being in love or crush she doesn't feel or doesn't want to go through those feelings. Here he says come to the place and I realize my mom's cooking and you should stop by. Even bring your coworkers I will treat you well. You will need a parent. She is like when I did you were not there that time has passed. How about when you get married? HJ firmly says I don't plan to get married.

I cannot wait to see this-rewatch with subs. About thirty mins left of work! yeah HAHAHA. Now back to my corner.

Hi @caray Thanks for liking my comments.

I am just happy to have a forum to spazz and see others info/recaps/art/gifs/videos and other goodies plus some great thoughts and opinions. Again Soompi Forums keep me sane while it is my daytime here in the US when these shows are live. So I appreciate getting over the angst catching up in the forums during my lunch break.

I am looking forward to YD growth. He might have seemed like in the same boat with SW, I do agree with others he has a mind of his own and can and willingly will not take BS even if he likes or knows the person. He trusts his instincts and his interactions (even if the person rubs him the wrong way and has gossip about that person ie SW told him about HY). Also I love Tae Ho as well as he sees right through SW bs as I have mentioned before.

Personally, I appreciate people in my life who were like TH and YD. In the sense of I had be maligned by jealous people who were spiteful and I was unaware. But just the mere fact of just breathing and living and that person had the desire to take away things /people from my life. In the end right now, I have people who look beyond the gossip and trust their instincts and being around me. So liked that YD had to eat his words about ---I won't be asking more questions of you as we are NOT going to be close for me to find out your real reason at being at this hospital (after their first interaction). To recently, YD asking HJ, don't you have any questions for me? This is how conversations go. (How easily he forgets.) He may have a bad temper, very strict, by the book, he is showing his softer side and more humane side when he learned HJ let KS have dinner --he did say you have to take responsibility and take care of your health. Or though he did not know that he was seeing HJ step mom's stuff and refused to operate (HJ expected it) But to turn around later learning she was not just having a habit of foisting patients she doesn't want to deal with but that her HORRID step mom caused a commotion and made it difficult for her . I agree with someone stating earlier--aren't doctors not supposed to operate on their loved ones-close friends and family as it is extra stressful and burdensome? So when YD said he would take it---I was proud of him!

His nerdy and goofy moments are so cute. From putting up his hands saying he fought too in school ---I loved how HJ teased you mean video games? Or after demonstrating fighting moves to YD (and still thanking the mortified and embarrassed YD) that look of realization oops be still my OVERBEATING heart. I am beginning to like him as much as I love Kang Soo puppy.

IT was awesome to see grandmother in this last episode. The relationships and strengths of familial love and bonds or friends kills and slays me all the time. So big the reason I loved and adored REPLY 1988 and cried reading the recaps, watching the drama was the beauty of their relationships. The one with Oh Hae Young with her mom slayed me. This drama with SH and HJ their relationship and bond slays me! When SH came and took her place at the prison and HJ could be with her grandmother at her surgery and telling HJH about her being in prison. Was right and glad she did not let HJ not get her arm treated. Though she loves her friend and is loyal, she was wise enough to get help when things are not right. Ie telling JH when HJ was not picking up her calls and texts! Even HJH affection and care after initial dislike to HJ to blossom to more.

Definitely happy with this fluffy parts and looking forward to more adventures. Thank you for letting me just spazz here. Back to work and stuff I have to deal with . Sigh.

I liked this actor in Pinocchio and I am glad I get to see him in this drama.

OMG Got to join the spazz as I finally saw this morning EP 6 with SUBS! Oh the feels!I was away going to see GOT7 in NYC -so worth it even taking 12am bus back to Boston!

-Yup true she was uninjured after the guy fell over her but glad HJ was fine.

-Wow love of HJH running like a bandit to see HJ after SH said she never ignores my calls and pages.WOW even the normally happy go lucky HJH (I do adore the HONG HONG HONG phone name on HJ's cell for him cute!) to lose it thanks to HJ. So it is ON he really is going to take his role seriously to be her PROTECTOR! The way he LIT into YD~ Lol!

-YD's uncle is funny, such a flirt trying to get in the way jokingly between HJH and HJ naming each time they meet up. LOL. Adorbs. Or YD avoiding HJH realizing OOPS he got off the wrong foot with his uncle's college bestie. Or how they all WORMED HJH and YD's uncle to get a ride to work and YD's uncle immediately repeating YD's saying HJH -I don't like him. LOL! Oh the awkwardness! So funny the YD's discomfort was real. But HJH being the cool person he is did mention he should apologize for going overboard to YD. Good job there.

-YD's running away from HJ was hilarious though too! I loved how he thought she would get on his case for being so "hopeless" but instead no only she doesn't go about how useless as a man he is, she teaches him moves and thanks him. Plus doesn't contradict what he tells everyone else what went down in the hospital room. The fact she overheard he said he saved HJ and that Kang Kyung Joon was curious if it was true. (No duh he saw how HJ moved.) But HJ true to her not feeding gossip reminding him to get more case projects for his three papers for his deadlines. She was cool to YD and showing the moves---naming them and saying she is a pro fighter was cool. I liked how HJ told HJH thanks to YD he saved her which was COOL of her. HJH is no fool, he knows HJ can fight. How can you not love our HJ? Yup YD is a goner now! Especially that cute expression showing he is a GONER after she demonstrated those moves on him.

-YD is aware and I love how he and Tae Ho snuff down on Seo Woo as well as HJH tell her you really have it OUT for HJ. Compared to HJ who doesn't deem to talk at ALL about SW, she freely talks about her and cuts her down. I like how they all know about her insecurity and fear of competition. I loved how SW was like-I didn't want to shock but she was a gangster and got expelled. Notice that SW was aghast when YD was like---yeah she told me HERSELF! Of course she is a good person, she has nothing to hide and is full upfront about it.

-YD attempt for conversation when HJ was standing waiting for HJH, he was a smidgeon jealous. Trying to do small talk, he expected her to talk and ask questions, her expression and "why?" was priceless. He realizes she is not one to easily get to know and but is honest, hard working and forthright. Values are good and takes cares of those around her in her way. How he let KS get a meal hearing HJ was doing the task he was supposed to do for boss. He is totally eating what he said he would not be CURIOUS or ask questions about her from episode 1. Yup eating his words indeed.

-Even when HJ asked him to see the MRI and he refused to take her step mom's case--she let him be not telling him who it was and he gave her an earful on policy and it was not right to do that foisting a patient just because. I think he saw and had new found respect hearing from OTHERS that it was her messy and not nice step mom. He felt sympathy for her but also she did not PLAY the relative card or how her step mom was horrible to her. So he knew she was not one to whine and try to get her way for currying favor. I think he found that refreshing from SW. So when he agreed to take the step mom on , it definitely was a step towards HJ. Gosh that look of excitement to go to the investigators to talk after the deal with BIG BOSS and the knife welding strangers--I thought it cute he made sure to insert---HJH already talked to the investigators. LOL!

-HJH dad is cute. I like how he wants to spend time with JH and admonishing him for starting work earlier than needed and not taking vacation. So when he cutely finagled him to go fishing he whined playfully but enjoyed his time with dad. But nothing passes through dad's eyes when JH eyes lit up and he had a sweeter tone towards our HJ. When JH tries to play it off oh just a hoobae DR at the hospital. Dad's observational skills said----must be a pretty hoobae then. Love it! (I think he is probably finally relieved JH is showing signs of wanting to date someone!)

-I read alot about SH's advertising for her place at the hospital. I think the way she did go about it was not the best way. Plus going into the private doctor's place I kind of feel right and agree with Kyung Joon. She was out of line. Funny how Young Kuk smoothed her feathers and joked I don't hit on women over 30--for SH to lie she is 26. But then when asked her friend is a DR there ---who? (Duh that would expose your lie!)

-Our puppies KS and SH meet up at the lunch cafeteria. Though I love SH , she is a bit too much but KS is adorbs wanting to make sure HJ was joining in the festivities and SH fast on the uptake wanting to treat all and her bestie HJ's celebration. But the 50% discount was cute. Seeing SW was jealous and made poor Youngguk leave he was right. Her constantly blaming makes her look insecure and afraid WHICH is true.

-I like that HJ step sis seems kind. She saw through her own mom realizing who HJ is and I am sure she knows how harsh her mom's tongue is. I feel she was embarrassed for her mom and her and sorry towards HJ after her rant-I won't let you treat me. To only later take back her words---oh you get a hospital discount? I need to be treated here then not anywhere else. UGGGH hideous mom. I liked how we saw grandma back again and trying to heal her heart that no parent hates their child. If HJ looks inside herself, she was misbehaved and expelled and constantly fighting. He was at his wits end and brought her to his mom's place. Plus his wife and HJ stepmom was not nice and horrible. So for his home harmony he had to give up HJ.

-The side story of the store owner and SW, I did not have much emotion myself after she died. I felt she had a kindred in arms for Seo Woo. Though there were parts I agreed ---letting free and being a bit more honest of your emotions. I did not care for her spitting on the new wife of her ex husband. Granted she did take away the hubby and remarried him. But there has to be some blame on BOTH sides. It was good that YD was there to hold SW back and try to comfort her in his way.

-When HJ gives the plan to welcome him and set up for a bribe, she is true to herself being upfront and honest. I thought HJH was taking the moving forward and letting go too much. He should know more than anything how much grandmother meant to HJ. But glad he got guilty conscience and asked his dad for help when ironically he COULD not access the info. It spoke volumes when he gave the info to HJ saying he had a copy and would have an expert and do research on the paperwork to get to the bottom of everything so HJ could breathe easily and more freely to know what happened.

-YD trying to console HJ definitely showed sides of her -tough, tit for tat, fighter, sad and unhappy, not uber social to him, proud -he just laps it up. I do like he is SIMPLE and like HJ grandmother and that makes him less complicated. Gosh HJ has him better pegged than SW. SW's mom knows that he is not hard to read but SW cannot change their relationship so easily. Whereas the more recent sides he has seen of SW are not too attractive to him and her constant commenting on his dating life and who he hangs out with is NOT going to make him like you. He friend zoned you so LONG ago. It is hard and rare to get a guy out of that for you (even if you are a pretty , smart young woman as SW).

-the stages of skinship and announcing to HJ how JH is courting her is cute. So appropriate as he know he can have his butt kicked if she doesn't want ANY monkey business. He has to be delicate and thoughtful and mindful. We know with her interactions with Chul Soo she head butted him and avoided his LIPS, told him she is NO ONE's property when he tried to make him his gal. So JH announcing he has a plan to court her and telling her-she needs to understand and allow someone to protect her etc. These are baby steps to be closer skinship both physically and slowly emotionally as well.

The hug seemed awkward but she did not push him away and she was shocked when he just simply said thank you to HJ. Yup thanks for being safe and alive! DUH. Then announcing her to confide in him more after giving grandmom's file to HJ. To telling her I am going to do something men do to women they like. Go yes the kiss looked awkward and not uber smooth but you know I am ok and agreed. If it was too smooth, passionate/abrupt (the Oh Hae Young HOT wall kiss) would have been SO out of place. I trust KRW skills as as kisser and PSH gets a bad rap for doing what the director says. I feel in time we have 14 more episodes to see more developing skinship and more satisfying kisses. (Heck we got some when watching her in Pinocchio. Gosh that kiss in the snow there with Lee Jong Suk was great! Even the Toast kiss was meant to be more innocent was awesome!)

-I am just enjoying the emotions, chemistry between the characters and not READING too much into the plot and holes and what not. This is what I need this summer! Now back to my corner and anxiously waiting for next week!

OMG spazzing a little bit. EP 5 was awesome. Totally did not see HJH being so vocal so soon. I should have expected it but did not.

I concur YD was not helpful dealing with the guy trying to kill the gangster, I rather have HJ over him any day.But cute she teased him earlier and said I was expelled and weak student. Yup YD likes women with a past and our HJ has one. In the previews he looks disappointed she doesn't ask any questions or shows interest.

I loved how HJ lets Kang Soo get dinner and later YD says the same--she did not mind helping him have his meal. Love it. Puppy stood up to that heavyset guy who ALWAYS over asks. Yeah!

OMO Jisoo as motorcycle guy is back! Wow.

Love how YD sees through jealousy of Seo Woo. Yup yup shut her down about HJ. Plus he wanted HJ over SW we saw that coming but HJH fighting for her -I thought he would be ok with SW guess NOT. Love how he told her straight out I like HJ. You go.

Rewatched ep4 finally with SUBS! Yes holes are filled in where I did not understand what was being said.

-So HJ decided to get a nice car instead of property. She spoils her friend SH who deserves it. Cute how SH says wish you were a guy and I could marry a doctor. So whenever HJ thinks of her grandma she gets SH a present. Awww

-Awww I am proud of HJ if HJH did have a wife, HJ would have stayed away. Good. Saying seeing husbands avoid their wives working late and having affairs. I like how she does not want to go there. Also HJH was good to nip in the bud that he is Free and not married.

-I liked how TD was surprised to see the catty side of SW. I liked how he said you should know your dad has no specs and our ctr prides itself on talent but not sole concentrating on your school. Go! I liked how he said you need the competition. I like how TD says you are worried about HJ as competition she is poor background, not a top school but third tier, took a pay cut to be here and you are three generations of doctors family. Plus I like TD's affection to HJH.

-Choi Kang Soo (orange head) is cute. He likes strong women and is a fan of our HJ. He also offers his knowledge to HJH and of course hooked HJH with HJ's numbers

-Cute and funny HJH has a stuffed toys! amusement game in his room. I never saw that in Kdrama character's home before

-Awww so SW and HJ have to lobby to be assistants for either YD or HJH. Interesting how HJH says if you want to work for me let me know and she is like I rather work with YD I have alot to learn from him. Well her campaign to get YD is not working. Def HJ is sparking his interest. Also her pal tells her to lay off being aggressive to YD as he likes to be in control.

-So YD doesn't like show-offs I can see. But he had to admit tit for tat. He is proper and acknowledges skills and works hard. HJ can be rough around the edges (except with SH) but wants to learn. She is good at what she does and solid. I liked how YD complained you are rude to me. HJ just retorts I give back what was given to me. I at least give YD credit. He is grudgingly giving her respect and that look he gave to her during the surgery presentation is thoughtful. Def future second lead is going to pine for our HJ.

-So SW minions feel protected by her. So when the resident said he was SW's friends to HJ, I liked she corrected and made him aware to be on his toes and be proper and prepared. YEAH! Just seeing that aspect I can see YD liking that about her as they are similar. Even YD mentions a few times they are similar (thoughts/procedures etc)

-Understanding more the banter between the gangster and HJ was good. So he was complaining and whining but good of HJ to say it is good you are whining as there are other worse complications or situations that could have happened. Yeah!

-I definitely think that since HJ is not bothering to lobby after CKS asked who she wanted to work with she said it doesn't matter. So I agree with someone else saying YD with HJ with first rotation. Though SW wants YD he knows her already. HJH likes HJ but he doesn't have to have her as his assistant to be near her.

OMG love love it. I spent lunch time watching the RAW. Gosh my limited Korean can only go so far. Glad others with BETTER Korean comprehension wrote good info and translations.

-Yes EP 4 raw -I love that HJ comes in cool at the store getting lovely earrings for her pal SH. (Love that they live together and that if I can guess she has been around for HJ as we know HJ has no one else reliable!) Plus knowing that she came straight to pick her up at work and SH tried her moves (after getting a surprise back hug). I loved how HJ compliments her progress on her "moves". Also SH saying you could have just met me at home. No I want to go home together with you. LOVE IT! Their sisterhood/friendship is JJANG! SH was touched it was the earrings she wanted. She knows HJ went to that hospital due to her grandmother. SH told her that SW is there as a doctor. So thanks to SH HJ got the heads up.

-When HJ was told to wait for YD, she ignored the summons. It can wait til tomorrow. (LOL So typical HJ and cool.) Even when the orange head DR tried to tell her to not leave, she still left. GO HJ. I guess YD is known for his lack of patience and temper eh? HJ def got cool points. It was cute the the orange haired DR looked up HJ info and was like -She is totally my type! LOL.

-YD definitely has to get his way. The text saying you have to RUN Now! Even YD had to point out, you walked in slowly not RUNNING now. (Then the rest I did not get the hospital jargon.) But I got it was a matter you don't have the authority to do a surgery and I SHOULD be aware of ALL surgeries. HJ was saying it was an emergency situation. (BLAH BLAH) Gosh cannot wait for subs.

-When SW comes to see YD and notices HJ. Go HJ she know she knows that SW still holds a grudge and cannot be nice. (Seriously HJ saved your life! SW had to complain about her even though there is not burn scar etc.) Then being so childish to run after her. Leave this hospital and you are only here because you know HJH is coming next week. Oh yeah he is married to InSoo Unni. (Don't even think about HJH.)

-Then her childishness to talk to TD. TD learns of the trio's relations. SW insecurities to dig into HJ. She is definitely no better now than when she was then. As it looks YD will look at our HJ differently. (He already did when he apologizes RELUCTANTLY to her) and then her past HJH likes HJ she is going to go ballastic! I agree, how can HJH be so sweet and kind to SW after she wrote the rumors in her jealousy and had to make him quit? His character is too nice and kind. But then again. it was 13 years ago and not being able to get over that issues not good. But he was OVERALL too nice to SW which she did not deserve it at all.

-As everyone said-it was cool that HJH doesn't mince words at first meeting-he is efficient! LOL yeah as others point out he is 40 and no time to waste to guess and HOPE or wait if HJ is free or not. LOL. I liked that she helped him. When he asked if she could finish up, she was her usual confident self. He was like, I have not PERSONALLY seen how well you can close . So it was cute he came and complimented her on her stitches and made the joke. Due to SW warning our HJ is a bit standoffish and our HJH doesn't like it.

-The father son scene was lovely and I like that they are close. Sigh dad cares and wants the bachelor to be with INJOO and complains not fun if just two guys. But as we know INJOO knew he had someone else on his mind and INJOO could not make him overcome his feelings for her.

-HJ was cool and when she checked in on the gangster. I loved how she made him say "THANKS" a few times pretending to not here. Or he whined asking her to say it in a prettier way to him (not as brisk and matterafactly to him, Seriously she is not going to be all feminine wiles as we know our HJ doesn't roll like that at all.) LOL. Let the guy grovel as he DID say he did not want a female doctor. Even the gangsters have grudging respect and think she is hot. Yup they inquired if she was married and she said I don't answer any personal questions. Love how the person in charge made them clean up and clear up their mess and whistle and look at HJ departing image wistfully. Brains and beauty that is our HJ!

-At the doctor presentation about the surgeries. I don't know what exactly what on. But whatever occurred YD realized that it was truly an emergency situation and had to eat his words and apologize later to HJ. But he does it awkwardly and so into her personal space. But I would not be surprised as we should expect second lead liking our heroine. Truth be told I would like HJ way more than SW.

-Someone pointed out SW tells the guys she likes them, it should be fine and good. But the guys she likes DON'T like her back. It rots she has everything and she feels entitled and she now feels fear and doesn't want HJ to have her happy ending. Luckily for us though she can feed rumors and LIES people around HJ and HJH allow them to HAVE to talk it out and get down to the TRUTH.

-Cute how HJH was waiting for HJ and the orange head DR offered to be his person to get intel on HJ. LOL. Yup HJ is definitely higher than SW and was scouted and definitely more on league with YD from it appears as she doesn't have to do rounds and drives a nice car. So no surprise HJH could call HJ.

-I loved how HJ was like-why you have to contact me ? You can still see me at the hospital tomorrow. Their wrestling was cool. Plus him trying to look all cool getting into the rink backfired but still cute. His trying to stop her to leave and them making the moves on each other ---yes yes yes. Love the physicality, tension and eyes-ooooooh the eyes! Also at the ring he clarifies YET again--I am NOT married to Injoo. Why you think that? Laughing how HJ is like-ok I got it. LOL. So vehemently our HJH denies being married as we all know he would rather be with HJ and court her.

-Though he makes like he will or is about to kiss her he won't. But it is turbo charged and BOTH are looking at each other with the yup MALE /FEMALE attraction to the HILT unlike before. Now that she is a consenting adult their relationship will be fine. I think it is too SOON to be kissing her (so my prediction they won't be kissing just YET.)

-cannot wait to watch it again with SUBS and I need to concentrate on work but I cannot. From ending finale of OH HAE YOUNG to a great ep 4 today! I am so giddy.
