WS is not someone you can give up..
LEE JOON GI - Is not someone you could ever ever ever give up .. especially after watching WS struggle up to ep 12.
Though (with or without HS) .. I believe many will stick through with WS .. all the way to the end ..
Regardless of what forumers or netizen said about this drama on episode 12, I will never stop watching Scarlet Heart till the end. We already know from beginning this is not your typical fluffy sugar coated K drama love story. We have to understand why HS rejected WS. She cant just run away from the palace to marry WS. She will change history. So I hope viewers will be more sensible. Dont give up Scarlet Heart just because it didnt fit your typical K drama.

This perfectly describes my feeling towards Wook, So took the words right out of my mouth. I was hoping watching Ep. 12 fully subbed would make me feel a little less frustrated but no, I am still pissed with the So x Soo x Wook story line.
It could just be my So bias speaking but the Soo x Wook love line feels much too drawn out, we're more than half way through the series and we're still not done with them? If this was a 40-episode sageuk, I may not have minded as much but we are left with only 8 episodes, damn it, and what have we seen of the supposed epic love story between So x Soo? A big fat nothing!
From a strictly So x Soo shipper standpoint, it just feels unfair that the secondary love line is still being [sort of] highlighted 12 episodes in and the main love line now has to be compressed into the remaining episodes, along with a host of other things that needs to be resolved [deaths in the Royal lineage, battle for the throne etc.]. But I'm already way too invested in this drama to give it up, I've survived through it's weird BGM's and crazy close up shots, and messy edits and multiple episode versions I'm pretty sure I'll survive through this, and I'm trying to remain as positive as I can that the following episodes will improve and at least give us a fairly decent amount of So x Soo moments.
Dont forget, Wang So also said to Wang Wook, so, just do what you always do. Pretend nothing happen and turn your back. hahahahahah!! Nice one smack down from WS to WW.

How does the king know HS is from the future?? I saw the video clip posted here slightly different from SBS. The part where WS propose to HS and handed her the hairpin. Ws told her without HS the crown is meaningless. They have more dialogue compare to the video posted in this thread. Now my head is spinning. Today is already episode 12 and no romance yet between HS and WS.

I will try to look at it in a better light (for now since I have no fully watch the episode - currently at work and have to wait for sub). But I will look at Soo rejection as her way of not wanting So to suffer for her since he had suffer for her multiple times and Lady Oh death has hit her hard. I mean she knows So will do anything to protect her and him being sent away, she may feel as it is her fault for his punishment. I will just look at it as her conversation with So in the prison. That she feel she doesn't deserve him and in sense, she's afraid. As she mention in the prison, she's afraid that her feeling is shifting towards him therefore she's asking Wook if he misses her, it's a way to keep her feeling grounded to him. It's her way of denial that her feelings are changing. Yeah, I'm going to go with that excuse for now to keep myself sane from throwing something at my computer over Soo action.
P.S. It's okay So! If Soo doesn't want you, I want you! *fanfiction, here I come!* And thank goodness I'm not the only one thinking LJK voice is sexy. I swear I could listen to that man voice day and night even if I don't understand Korean. I would just have keep talking non-stop and swooning at it. LOL!
Yup!! I agree!! His voice is sexy. Very manly voice. I can sit and listen to him keep on talking without subtitle. His voice makes me grrrrr!!

It sounds like a logical progression of events to me. I'm optimistic too about the ending. I really hope he gets to the future with his memories intact and we see him seeking her out.

Most people I know always commenting that we sometimes behaving like friends. I told them, of course!! his is my best friend and I am his best friend. We share our problems and will have a long talk on any topic. My husband also said that, he love me because I am the smartest woman in the world. He love to ask for my opinion on anything and I always offer him solution. Well, that part, the smartest woman in the world he maybe exaggerating but I think he just want to make a point. So yeah, I am with Wang So on this. Love and friendship go hand in hand.

I started watching this because of my love for SH C-version and MLSHR very nice previews.

Also, my judgement of whether or not a guy is gay, is not great at all...!!! One of my close friends and former labmate who is from French is gay and I thought he was very cute the first time I met him but I know his another friend was gay right away (not because he is gay his friends are but just one happened to be). Although I was married, I guess I have very very little dating experiences. One of my distant cousins' husband was very feminine to me but they're married and have a daughter though I'm still not sure whether he is bi as my country looks down very badly on gay/ lesbian. In my home country, people consider "gay" as people who sell candies wearing female clothes and hair dressers/ make-up artists. They are the only ones who live openly but of course many closets cases until now. Of course, my opinion of "gay/ lesbian" is totally different now that I've lived in US for 18 yrs.
@flower4junsu@junejungki @jetsu I saw those rumors news in English but did not see any picture of him with anyone together outside. I'm not bashing LJK but to me personally, he wore too much make-up compared to other male actors during Cosmopolitan magazine cover shoot, their script reading, end of drama shooting dinner, drama promotion and his IG pics that people posted here (I don't have IG) and among all 7 guys, he acted the most feminine to me outside shooting and during interviews. I'm used to actors getting married late as I follow Chinese drama and my dad got married when he was 44 (he dated and engaged to a few but broken off for different reasons before he married to my mar). I know Nicky Wu, Jimmy Lin and Ruby Lin since I was in my early teens when I was still in SE Asia and their marriages were late but all of them had rumors and some proofs of their dating. Both Jimmy Lin and Ruby Lin were very private people too and they talked about the fact that they dated. However, I cannot find any proof with LJK except rumors with his two co-stars. His rumors with both UEE and Yoo Ri-Ah (Miss Korea) whom he claimed he went out once for coffee happened in early 2012 right before he got discharged from military. After 26 yrs in industry...NOT even single picture together except in gym???
In my country, there were three actors who claimed they were not gays (one died without ever getting married but had a few adopted sons, another one is already 50 and still not married yet though he also had a couple of dating rumors when he was younger, another one 36 and no rumors of dating, even his mom talked about her son not being gay openly in the interviews...waiting to see)
Please do not quote me or debate with me as in this post, I'm just trying to let flower4junsu, junejungki and jetsu know what I think. I'm NOT interested in Lee Jon Ki's sexual orientation. As a talented actor, I want him many more success, happy life whomever he chooses to be with and better rating for his drama at his home tuff!!!

I'm not his fans or fans of any other Korean actors yet (I saw him in 2 weeks and thought pretty good acting macho criminal). So, please please please do NOT egg me! I'm just curious as I don't read K-pop news and do not understand Korean
You should watch Healing Camp Episode 79 where LJK mentioned he is not gay and he would love to date but he prefer to keep his dating life private from the media or public.

I read somewhere in this thread, Jung Ki purposesly lose 15kg for his role as Wang So. I saw him in Scholar Walk The Night. His face is more rounder.

I just registered in this forum about 5 minutes ago. This drama really daebak!!! My whole family hook on this drama patiently waiting week after week. My sisters and me cried when we watched last night's episode. Really heart wrenching. As usual, Jung Ki was awesome with his acting skill. I become his biggest fan. I am not very familiar with his drama except My Girl and Arang & Magistrate. But now I started backtracking all his drama and movie.
By the way, I am from Malaysia. Most of my friends I know crazy about this drama too. We are very happy because the rating is high in Malaysia.

After reading comments and recaps here, I have made the conclusion that there are a slight different between international version and SBS version. SBS version more complete and we can relate the story. Especially the do you missed me part.betwen HS and WW.
