    They didnt use the black n white board anymore these days?? I thought I saw once in the BTS.

    With the institution of the national civil service examination in 958 (과거, Gwageo), Gwangjong was able to expel from the court people from powerful clans and replace them with civil officials recruited by merit, giving everyone, not only the rich and powerful people, the opportunity to work for the state. The civil service examination was suggested to the king by former Chinese envoy Ssanggi, and was based on the Tang civil service exam and the Confucian classics.[5] In 960, he introduced different colours for court robes to distinguish officials of different ranks.[6] Other actions undertaken to reinforce the royal authority were naming Goryeo an empire and himself Emperor, thus ending tributary relationships with China; calling Kaesong the Imperial Capital and Pyongyang the Western Capital, and adopting the era name "Gwangdeok" (光德, 광덕).[6]

    Gwangjong's reforms were badly accepted by the nobles, especially by high military and civil officials who helped in the foundation of Goryeo; the king reacted by imprisoning those who dared to rebel against him and sentencing them to death.[2][6]

    During his life, Gwangjong supported Buddhism, took capable monks as advisers, and promoted the construction of temples: he built the Yongjusa Temple in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, in 962,[7] and a temple in Cheongpyeong in 973.[8] He also created an exam for Buddhist priests, called Seonggwa, to link the government and the church, and tried to unify various Buddhist orders under a single one, but this latter attempt failed.[9]

    He freed slaves. He allowed ordinary people to sit the civil examination with opportunity to work in the govt. How cruel can that be? I wish my current govt are more people friendly but the situation now in my country are no different from Goryeo era before Gwangjong. Only the rich and powerful people get all the priority.

    I have been quite loyal to SHR despite its glaring flaws - I don't think I need to list those flaws down because everybody knows - mainly for 2 reasons 1) I find it truly engaging in the beginning because the actions and feelings emoted by some of the characters ( I REPEAT only the main leads plus Lady Oh) manage to tug my heartstrings. 2) I adore C-BBJX to the point I was able to recite RX letter after years the drama ended.

    However after ep15… I am extremely disappointed. I can stand the heroine having some kinky panic attack, outlandish premonition, poor judgement, and taking forever to accept the hero but I expect unwavering heart as well as solid confidence and trust in the man she loved once she claimed she does. What is the point of having the truth pact if you are not to stick to it? Why do you take years to accept his love, missing out the opportunities of baby-making, if you still hesitate about the kind of person he is? That being said, I gave SD a standing ovation when she question HS about her distrust in WS. Seriously HS, WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU??!

    Some arguments stated that

    1) She has learned to be careful when placing her trust in others after the incident with Wook but I don't buy it...She completely trusted CR when it is so obvious CR is the only possible person to poison CP. If she can give CR the benefits of doubt why not to WS? I am not even going to talk about her confrontation with Wook for fear of the possibilities I might transform into a green monster and start to smash things in my house.

    2) She is trying to steer the event away from happening by keeping Eun from So's reach. If that is the case maybe I can blame the editing crew for not putting any monologue over to describe what HS thinks. It is hard to see what she is thinking because that girl must have came from the stars   she is neither acting like a 21st century girl nor a Goryeo lady.

    After this ep, HS has lost my interests, respects, empathy and support. I couldn't care less about her from now on. Whether the writer decides to kill her off with depression/guilt/dilemma and keep the tragic in C-BBJX or give us the happy ending that most wanted, I am not bothered anymore.

    Soo is one effed up human being, and no I'm not saying that just to be mean or anything. I just don't understand how and why she still doubts So, even after everything that he has done for her yet she is so ready to trust everyone else [I still haven't forgotten that she had so much belief in Wook Vader's promises even when he never came through with any of them or her naivete with CR's loyalty when she's been so fishy asf in the last 2 episodes]. I mean, the series is almost done but I'm still confused with her characterization, are we supposed to root for her or hate her? 

    So deserve better woman. Soo is just plain stupid. No wonder she got cheated by her boyfriend and best friend. Now, let So marry YH.  At least YH is smarter and ambitious.

    I am really to emotionally invested in this drama, I don't know what I will do after it finishes. :sweatingbullets:

    I agree. I wonder how can she love WS but does not trust him?? i am confused. Why must SD pointed it to her? . I am getting annoy with HS. Because of her everyone dies. She deserve to die too.

    Episode 15 for me will be harder to watch. Regardless of Taejo's failings, under his rule there still seemed to be some semblance of propriety and hope. So what do we know now before the next episode begins?

    Under Yo, So's hands will be bound because of his fear for Soo's safety.

    Even though Wook has joined hands again with Yo, he'll need to tread carefully since he's already betrayed his brother once before.

    Yo will start to protect his position by taking out any possible opposition, thus Eun's clan will be targeted.

    Yo may task So with taking out Eun, but it will be someone else that takes Soon's life and attempts to also take Eun's. So will help him pass so that he can be together with his wife (Based on Soo's vision, it has always been my opinion that Eun is already mortally wounded and So obliges his request to help him pass on so he can join Soon. So would NEVER take the life of his defenseless brother...even for Soo. If it was within his power, he would have found a way.)

    But today, I decided to make an account because I just can't contain my feelings for yesterday's episode. It was so LOVELY...the scenes with So & Soo....finally they're in each other's arms. Confirming and sealing their LOVE with a kiss. We could also see the longing in their eyes. It seems like they have waited for so long for that to happen. I also love the stargazing scene and the boat scene. When So howl like a wolf, I really laugh so loud. He was like a kid...so cute. :heart:

    But we have to face the truth, that it is not all lovely the entire episode.

    I cried when Jimong is calling out the Crown Prince name, it so heartbreaking :bawling:

    Then I actually skip some parts of the episode (just a little bit), especially Wook's part. I LOATHED him!!

    And then, there's Lion King...I mean Prince Wang Yo and his Evil troops (including Won, Chae Ryung, Wook, Queen Yoo, Yeonhwa)

    This episode is really an emotional roller coaster ride for all of us. After watching it, I really feel tired but at the same time happy( of course for our So-Soo couple).

    And today we are waiting for Episode 15. Will tonight's episode be another emotional roller coaster ride for us? Will you ride this roller coaster again after getting your heart broken yesterday? 

    ME?? OF COURSE!!! Count Me in!!!
