My most favorite scene is the scene where we can see Gwang Jong all by himself (without anyone he could love anymore) looking at the palace, his achievement,. It felt so empty, so regretful, so dark, yet so satisfying. (Yes, Gwang Jong, please found Go Ha Jin in the future okay....??)
And that last scene when Gwang Jong gave Hae Soo a piggyback ride.......ahhhhh.....such a heartwarming finale
After a longggg time, I could finally smile again watching this drama in the final episode. (well, half smiling and half crying haha)

Unexpected ending!, I'm crying from the moment Hae Soo mention her baby, OMG!
All make sense Now!!! She wants to protect her baby! YES!!! Really great reason to leave the palace! (to protect your baby with Wang So from evil YH), I feel you Hae Soo because I have a baby too! OMG! Crying non stop till the end of the episode!Indeed! Most memorable scenes Gwang Jong all by himself looking at the palace, all his achievement yet.. in the end he is all alone.. He lost everyone dearest to him.. Really Heartbreaking scene..Poor Wang So.. *Cry..
I admire Jung, He takes care HS & her child, despite his rebellion behavior, he is indeed Great Dad..
I hope they make the 2nd season soon..

It’s a historical fact that a total solar eclipse occurred in autumn 941 (GHJ/HS arrival to Goryeo) & and then in summer 975 (GWANGJONG’S DEATH)@ruizaio mention this before "Meanwhile, Gwangjong's courtesy name 日華 means corona (the aura of the sun that's visible around the moon during a total eclipse).

Go Ha Jin wake up, but she still in the state of shock...
She try to grasp every moment that was happened in a short time,
When suddenly she realised that someone is standing in front of her.
Which is none other than her rescuer (Modern Wang So) that eventualy doesn't recognised her at all...
She try to tell him about everything that was happened, every story that they got through together.... *flashback
But in the end he still didn't understand what she said, and just attempt to calm and comfort the confused Go Ha Jin,
He smile with relieve to see the person that he rescued is ok.
At that moment, a tear drops from her eyes and Go Ha Jin eventually realised that everything happened to her while she is in Hae Soo body was just like a bitter sweet dream that only occured during the eclipse when the moon and sun reunite.

They could have used their LOVE to their advantage but unfortunately they are good at tearing each other apart. Although, I am frustrated with their roller coaster relationship, I am still giving them time to grow. It really takes time to build a solid foundation within a relationship that could withstand every storm that comes their way. Sometimes they need to discover their strengths/limitations for the sake of the ones they love. How far they could go before it became too much for them to handle. They need to realize that they are stronger together than they are apart. Strengthening one another is what they need the most.
Let me add also:
When relationships break down, the tendency is to walk away and find someone new rather than work at reconciliation. This is what HS will possibly try to do. Should I be in her shoes, I will redeem the time and spend it with him knowing that I am living in a borrowed time. I'd rather endure the heartache close to him than apart from him. This way, their parting later on (when she dies or back to the future) will leave no regrets because they've done everything they could for each other. At least the person who be left behind will have good memories to live on and endure the loneliness of her absence also. I speak by experience here because I've been there done it with my late hubby. This is why I can't help but be concerned with our OTP. I desperately want them to work with each other and not against each other.
There are some things in our lives that need to be broken: pride, self-will, stubbornness, and unhealthy habits, etc. that prevents growth. They should learn to say SORRY and avoid pointing fingers on who is right or wrong. Because in a relationship, there is no you and me but US. It takes two to tango, we used to say. But I just couldn't figure out how this OTP will resolve their issues. Gives me headache. I just hope writer-nim has something in store to make us a little bit happy. Sort of a parting gift, since we will surely miss them once this drama ends. *** praying ****
BTW, I can't help but smile reading wives here who watch with their husbands and tolerate them for their addiction to this drama. I've done it myself too, maybe worst. I remember, I would tell him this and that (like a typical fangirl) and how I like this actor and everything about him and he would say: Are you sure you're not in love with that guy? Being a typical playful, I would teasingly say: Don't worry hon, I love him but you're the one that I'm in love with! He can't win over you! And we just laughs! Oh my, I suddenly missed my very best friend! He would certainly love watching this drama with lots of opinion. I have no one to share my craziness anymore. Sorry, out of topic...

Just my first thought after watching the episode live. I thought it would take more than that for HS to leave WS. Yes she cherished CR but she should also understand WS. In the C-Version 4th had killed all his retainers, Yutan died, 8th wife ended up committing suicide and RX loss her child, all of which she blamed herself for as the instigator. So I understood her desperate need to escape the palace at the time. I just cant believe HS. I was expecting it but not this soon. In C-Version RX also understood why Yutan had to die although she hated the method.
Definitely agree with you, I think the reason HS to leave the palace to shallow, I mean, if she experiences the same thing like the RX so it's understandable that she desperately want to leave the palace, in my opinion HS seems like only blaming WS.. even WS tried to explain everything.. she keeps saying CR is my sister, she is doing it out of "Love".. in a previous episode HS said CP Moo is like her brother, please Hae Soo the one you thought "your sister" killed your brother, OMG can't stand that scene.. please writer-nim why you make HS seem so delusional... (I know she sick & feel betrayed by CR but that reason not quite right to leave WS & give up)
& YH scene holding HS's mask, why she knows it was HS mask? She is spying them entire lovey dovey time???I think 20 episodes too rush, can't do justice to character development & too many plot holes MLSHR at least should be 28-30 episode..

If anything, they have only shown us their hard work, their talent, their skills, and their dedication. In turn, we, as fans of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo, should show the cast something positive.2. Can you explain the submission photo requirements in more detail?
The landmark photo is rather simple. First, hand write a note that says "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo was here," followed by your username and your location. Then, choose a popular landmark from your area of residence. Hold the note in front of that landmark and snap a photo. That's it!
Here's a semi-accurate example:
(I took this photo at 2am, so just pretend that the "Virginia Beach" photo in the background is the landmark where I would actually be standing as I hold the note.)

I may also screenshot the Scarlet Heart: Ryeo thread on here (Soompi) with the page number to show how popular it is. If time will allow, then a shout-out to all the main cast and supporting cast will be made as well, including Ji Mong, Lady Hae, King Taejo, and Court Lady Oh.
4. With a clearer outline, what is supposed to happen on the day of the last episode?
The deadline for submissions for the photos will be on Friday, October 28th at 11:59PM EST. This will give me the entire weekend to compile everything into a nice video that will get uploaded onto my YouTube account, AkinaHana. On Monday, November 1st (tentative date), after the airing of the final episode, a segment of the YouTube video will get uploaded onto my (now) public IG account, akinahana. In my caption, I will provide the direct link to the video and tag the 16 cast members I have found on IG.
The cast members seem to be the most active on IG, if their frequent updates, as well as their frequent likes and comments on each other's accounts, are of any indication. We are, then, to assume that the entire cast will be tuning into the final episode as well and will be lurking on IG for fan comments and response.
It is at this time, when they are on IG, that we, in a group effort, mass ATTACK by tagging them in the COMMENTS SECTION of the original video post. Do NOT tag them by sharing the video as that will DIVIDE attention. We need them to realize this joint effort, focused on ONE area, means something important. That way, they will be able to see the video of our support.

The only drama that has ever inspired me to sign up on a forum because I NEEDED to discuss, to read discussions, to be exposed to more of the drama. This is the only drama that I've found worth analyzing because it is thought provoking. Usually when a drama is 15 episodes or more, I can't commit to watching it because 1. It's too damn long, 2. I tried watching DOTS; dropped it half way (and I love Joong Ki and Hye Kyo) because I couldn't stand the acting and story line. I've tried watching many others and just didn't feel it was worth my time. But Moon Lovers is like an addiction. I think, breathe, and seemed to be living for this drama. My life has been on hold since I've started watching it. I feel that this drama can have another 80 episodes and I wouldn't be bored with it. I wish we can give Moon Lovers an International Award for most beloved drama ever.

With only four episodes left in Scarlet Heart:Ryeo, the leading actor is already talking fanmeetings and future acting opportunities with Singles magazine. The 34 year-old actor modeled the latest trends in suits, crocheted sweaters and leather jackets for the black and white photo shoot, while he chatted with the publication.
He is all in when it comes to fan gatherings! Fanmeeting preparations take about a month, because he is very hands-on with the entire event. From songs to special events during the meetings, he does it all. "I am grateful to all my fans, and I am trying hard to be together with them," he said.
Although he is very happy he met the great cast and crew on the set of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo, the Hallyu star is ready to embrace the future. His next role is Commander Lee in the Hollywood film Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which releases in US theaters on January 27. "It's just a special appearance, and I think of it as a good experience... I have been acting for more than 10 years now, but there's still a lot I want to show everyone. I haven't met my true character yet. I hope to in the future."
Fans are more than willing to take that future ride with him. I think Lee Joon Ki has done an unbelievable job as Wang So these past couple of months. I was 100% Team Wang Wook until recent episodes. He's very persuasive.
