putu pirings are sometimes sold in stalls that's inside the malls.

i bought 2 packets from a stall in a coffeeshop just now hehe going to bring them over to my mama's place. she loves them.. and it's hard to get yummy ones near her area.

I think the nearest to me here is within 30km..Just too far...Yet to try the very famous one in Melaka. 

 

I cant find this at the moment but just craving for it...Famous Muar Otak-Otak (Literal translation is Brain-Brain LOL)

The yellow roses? No, I took the picture last Saturday when I was passing near a kindergarten. I loved their intense color.

yes, i heard muar is v famous for their otahs. i think there is many varieties of otahs depending on what fish meat is used to make the paste. some have sotongs inside too!

 

but, all i dun eat hahaha

Is so long that I had putu pirings with brown sugar, same goes to putu mayam.

Hardly can find them around my area.

Finally had my lunch @Thong Thin & @MayanEcho chingus!!! Vegetarian as always!! White rice, dhal curry and 2 traditional dishes!!! Canned fish extincted a long ago so mostly vegetarian unless it's boiled eggs or omelettes.

It's been too hot here as well...

Had falafel wraps for breakfast. I don't feel like cooking now, and there's still rice and green moong dal with mutton pieces from last night's dinner.

@MayanEcho I'm on fruit diet today. Dinner will be fruits with oats later to be more filling.

One of the dishes is Sri Lankan green bean curry! Simple and beautiful!

 

 

The other dish is Sri Lankan ambarella curry! So tasty and pretty good looking!
