No wonder she was that brave to post her confirmation post humbly yet proudly saying that she has met a good person.

Hugs chingu. This is such a dream come true. HB has been recognized bigtime for his RJH role!!! No less than Daesang! And yes, the other CLOY casts (YJ included ofc) also winning is so gratifying to see. 

 

Hmmm I surely know who are pertaining to chingu . I was thinking of this too. Boy, was she wrong in so many things and getting so prematurely worked-up on perceived disadvantages HB got from CLOY/SYJ. As they say it's always better to think positive. This huge win surely proves this. Well, too bad for her she can't celebrate this huge win with us now (or does she even want to?). Well, another saying is perfect here: it's not good to burn bridges. But yes, I too offer her my virtual hug of condolence. I am too happy tonight that I even want to be magnanimous & can share this joy with her.

(Although I wasn't surprised the app basically spilled who would win Daesang base on their attending list lol) Only the winners have attended in the past. Unless they can't make it. Always 'busy schedule' excuse.

 

I am so happy he finally gets another acting award! Since he hasn't received much after his Secret Garden Baeksang Daensang. 

 

So I am happy he finally got another one for a drama we all loved and CLOY still has continued global success

 

I like his speech it was very HB style and having to mention Yejin and their characters at the end too. It wasn't too personal in the end. He just made sure to say her name. As he is very private, he isn't the type who would share more either in his speeches to make it more related to his personal life. 

 

Even though they didn't meet back then during SeGa, it is nice that both dramas he wins Daesang for  

 

Son Ye Jin must have had proud and happy watching since not only HB wins, Lee Min Jung wins, Kim Sun Young and Kim Young Min - win too as well as HB's VAST manager and friend. Best Manager award! - I did wonder if this time it would go to VAST and it did.

Congrats to HB on his big win! I’m happy for him - his acting doesn’t get recognized very often by the award giving bodies so any win, especially a Daesang, is well-deserved recognition. As for SYJ, honestly I don’t think she cares that she did not win the acting award here - she has SO many awards, what’s another one to her? I think she would choose what she got last night - getting thanked SO SWEETLY and so publicly by her significant other. That was a first for her (and that was also a first for him). I’m sure she was the proudest and happiest one of all for him.  So at least APAN gave us that much, which was more than I was expecting given what a train wreck event it was building up to be

Congratulations Hyun Bin!! So deserving. He truly is a perfectionist even in his speeches. I find that he seemed to really prepare and organise how well he’ll deliver it. Nobody's perfect  but my goodness, he is maybe the exception lol

 

 @Seriya , Theres’ something about this man that so interesting to me, (not a long time fan and just trying to really know him for only a year now) He definitely look extremely serious even in Baeksang, and some observed him to be looking a little tired too. I really want to know what he is feeling on awards. Is he nervous? Which I doubt coz he looks calm to me and delivered his speech perfectly, no stutter or rushing or even blank moment, lol

Actor Hyun Bin took home the Daesang(Grand Prize) at the '2020 APAN Star Awards'.

 

On January 23rd, the 7th 'APAN Star Awards' were held to recognize celebrities who made a contribution to Korean Television and Hallyu. The award show was initially scheduled for November, but it took place in January due to a resurgence of COVID-19 in Korea.   

 

Hyun Bin won Daesang with 'Crash Landing on You', and his acceptance speech made a lasting impression on viewers. Hyun Bin said, "I'm so grateful to start off the new year with such an honorable award. I have a feeling I should do better this year as a response to this award. I've received so much love thanks to 'Crash Landing on You' all year last year and even to this date. Thank you to my fans and viewers who have been supporting and watching 'Crash Landing on You' all over the world."

 

He continued, "I am so thankful for Jeong Hyeok's best partner Yoon Se Ri, Ye Jin. I believe it was Ye Jin, who portrayed Yoon Se Ri so well, made RiJeong Hyeok look so much cooler. I wanted to say thank you. I will do my best to show my better self in the near future to all of you." The viewers reacted that his acceptance speech was sweet and respectable because he showed gratitude to actress Son Ye Jin as his co-lead, not as his girlfriend although the couple has publicly announced their relationship.

HB's speech was honest and humble. That's why i love him. It's true that the strong chemistry between HB and SYJ and their special connection through their acting made this drama so successful. Without a Yoon Se ri so animated and multi dimensional, then his role would have been flat and vice versa. They were the best thing that happened to Kdrama world in 2020. I'm so happy about Daeksand for HB, the second in his career and it was about damn time! I know he will keep winning more hopefully for movies next time.

See even Daesang are looking for him that his truly lucky charm is Son Ye Jin. That 10yrs. gap between SeGa when Jinnie her first cameo ever next to CLOY when she became a co-star and the leading lady of Binnie. Thanks to those writer and Director who've been eying on them ever since the beginning that Binnie as  "The Good Person" and Jinnie as "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World" and "The Best Partner" finally together and confirmed dating/relationship then soon became Mr. & Mrs. Kim.  (Wink Wink Wink) 

 

I imagine on the next 10yrs. Binnie will received again a Daesang Awards and Jinnie his lucky charm with their series or film. They should make "The Kim Incredible" Movie.  (Wink Wink Wink)

@tncloy1819 yes the the “Finally” part, which made me also held my breath, brought music to my ears, joy to my heart and tears in my eyes. 

Ye Jin’s speech was fun, you can see her joy and happiness. You can hear audience in the background cheering for her.

Someone in twitter mentioned that maybe the reason why Ye Jin chose not to attend was that maybe Ye Jin wants the focus on Hyun Bin’s win and the attention would be on Hyun Bin. If that’s the case, it was so wonderful and selfless of Ye Jin. It only shows she loves her man so much. And then, “finally”, the “good person” & loving boyfriend, shared his award to his “best partner”.  He shared his win with the love of his life. 

Hayyy! How to move on? We cannot.....

This January has been a month of blessing to us shippers/stans.

Good morning! How's everyone doing? I'm very sure all of us still in clouds 9 & disbelief. But the best part, after all the whining about the Amazer, we can finally at ease, smiling from ears to ears. It's beyond happiness and grateful isn't it? It's BINJIN NATIONS winning too. 

 

Congratulations to both supporting actor Kim Young Min and actress Kim Sun Yong who both portrayed their characters very well in CLOY.

 

Congratulations to our dearest Yejin, who happily received her KTN seezn star award. Her warm speech always not forget to thank her fans for the hard work at voting surpassed our grief for her not winning other categories. It's ok Yejin-shii, You are still the winner in our heart.

 

Congratulations to our dearest HyunBin for winning the Daesang award. His passion and honored to each masterpiece and crafts is paid off. Well deserved. More than that, his heartwarming speech thanked us his fans, and each persons involved in CLOY making, well received & appreciated by the whole world. He carefully crafted his speech, with a nervous looks and teary eyes he openly expressed his gratitude and love to his best partner and loved of his life. Who needs SNS or write a letter anyway? He did it on his way and with class. 

 

 

This is more than enough right. Hats off to Yejin's good partner and loved of her life. We can see as to why Yejin feel confident about this relationship and ready to open about her feelings for the first time to the world. 

 

We stan on the best actor and best actress. We stan for the best couple. They set a new standard for couples in K-Ent industry. Their love are cheered not only by K-netz locals but crossed the globe. We are so blessed to witness all this happenings. We are blessed to be in this fandom. 

 

Oh last but not least, I'm quite surprised with the best manager award. But still, KKT from Vast deserved the award. Congratulations! He's with Bin for so long, a dear closed friend and good manager to Bin. He also a secret keeper and best Binjin supporter. 

 

I'm sure there will be more great happenings this year. Please prepare our heart. Hahahaa, since yesterday I'm still in disbelief and my heart's exploding. 

 

While we are celebrating, please be mindful on our words to others. This doesn't give us a special credits or power to degrade or throw hateful words to anyone. Respect and stay classy. Remember, fans reactions will reflect to our dearest OTP.

Aww.. the admiration and respect that HB has consistently expressed towards SYJ over the years.. their partnership is really extraordinary in reel and real life. They simply bring out the best in each other!

 

Congratulations HB for your big win! Happy that CLOY cast gome some well deserved recognition locally. That representatives from RJH's squad and YSR's ahjumma group got awarded too. They were all fantastic in their roles. Also thinking like some, SYJ was so iconic in her YSR role she deserved best actress for cloy too. Anyhow, with her large sum of best actress awards over the years, the awards she got from fans this year is specially meaningful exactly as she said, because  it is from her fans. perhaps a different or special feeling that so many people/ viewers (and many of them new ones) worked hard to support you thru a fan award. Fans that you usually build through the years, that cannot be bought.

 

I think yeah, maybe partly she didnt attend to fully give the limelight to HB and not overshadow with their recent announcement. But of course she was still present through video and Hb's thank you message. Really their style to stay lowkey for professional work.
