  1. He always value privacy more than anything. He just never gets it from the media. Like with SYJ, she also respects her privacy even more. She has never admitted to any relationships. Why do you have to admit when all it will do cause speculations again and again ex. break up, marriage etc. You go into any other actor thread, once those couples admit, it is rumors again every year on whether they have broken up or gotten married or will get married. This is why the pattern now for most very private people is to admit once you are engaged/getting married soon or with pregnancy at the same time. It takes two people who want to admit a relationship. Just because he has admitted his relationships in the past doesn't mean he doesn't regret having it become public knowledge. Plus there are years he may have not actually dated anyone. Who knows? Maybe he has managed to keep those years from public knowledge. How many times does he have to ask for privacy.. He has said the public only knows 10% of his life. He is a simple man/quiet and reserved - more expressive with people he is close with. an "adjussi". Just seems like a lot of people keep expecting stuff from him. He definitely updates his fans more on The Space and he does take long breaks after he finishes a project. Who knows what his plans are now that Bargaining is finally complete. Hope he spends time with his family and people that matter to him the most
  2. Congrats on PSJ takeover month in Phillipines it seems Here is his interview in Metro Style which he is on the cover of: Korean Heartthrob And Rom-Com King Park Seo-Joon's Extraordinary Rise To Fame We take a look back on the Korean actor’s remarkable career milestones Among the many Korean actors currently dominating our Netflix algorithm, Park Seo-joon is undoubtedly one of the surest ways to get even the biggest non-believers diving headfirst into K-Drama. (#FactsOnly, we’ve proven it.) This year’s Itaewon Class proved crucial in cementing the 31-year-old’s place amongst South Korea’s most talented. The popular series showed off his incredible acting range and introduced him to a wider, more global audience. Though popularly known for his work in romantic comedies, he completely owned and transformed into the character of ex-convict-turned-CEO Park Sae-royi. His performance in the webtoon-based drama inevitably led all-new fans to his solid body of work; at the same time, long-time stans found more reason to celebrate him. Before anyone realized it, we were all going down a Park Seo-joon rabbit hole we never want to get out of. We’ve combed through his previous dramas, films, and variety shows down to the split-second cameos. We’ve also followed his millions-strong Instagram account and subscribed to his record-breaking YouTube channel. We’ve supported his multiple endorsements. Algorithm or no algorithm, there can never be enough Park Seo-joon to go around. The making of an actor In an alternate universe, Park Seo-joon could very well be just another hot guy you pass while walking on the streets of Seoul. Can you imagine it? There was a time when he suffered from “crippling shyness” that becoming an actor seemed the most farfetched of ideas. Thankfully for us, he decided to overcome it and discovered his love for acting along the way. Since his first foray onstage in high school, Park Seo-joon revealed to T Singapore that he’s thought of little else apart from improving his craft. It was “too late” for him, they said, yet he still pursued theater in university. On top of that, he also enlisted to finish two years of South Korea’s mandatory military service before officially debuting in 2012. By the time the aspiring actor appeared in Dream High 2, he was already 24—but he hasn’t stopped working since. The “master of romantic comedy” Ask fans who their favorite Park Seo-joon character is, and the responses will probably be different for everyone. There will be answers more popular than most, but we can bet it would be challenging to decide on just one. It may be the hard-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside magazine editor, Ji Sung-joon, in She Was Pretty or the “flowering knight” from the Kingdom of Silla, Moo-myung/Kim Sun-woo, in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. It’s highly likely for one to choose the aspiring MMA pro fighter, Ko Dong-man, in Fight for My Way. It may also be the adorably narcissistic chaebol, Lee Young-joon, in What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. Of course, there's the righteous, hardworking owner of DanBam, Park Sae-royi, in Itaewon Class too. Let’s not forget how adorable his characters Yoon Dong-ha in A Witch's Love and Oh Ri-on in Kill Me, Heal Me are as well. Whether it’s one, two, or all of these roles, Park Seo-joon proves time and again just why he’s one of South Korea’s top actors. He has consistently earned praise for brilliant performances in high-rating dramas as well as box-office hit films (you must check out Midnight Runners!). He’s one of few Korean stars who have proven to have a keen eye for good projects and have developed inimitable chemistry with all his leading ladies onscreen. Out of his nine-year career, seven of those years saw him nominated for numerous acting awards. He has been dubbed as the “master of romantic comedy” by The Korea Times but he has convinced people that he deserves the “action star” label too. And while there’s no doubt we love him for his aching good looks, what makes our hearts really flutter is his compelling natural talent. The other side of Park Seo-joon Even off-duty, he continues to earn acclaim. As of press time, he currently has 15.5 million followers and sits behind other Hallyu favorites Lee Min-ho and Lee Jong-suk in the Top 3 Most Followed Korean Actors on Instagram. He also became the first Korean actor to receive a YouTube Creator Award—the Gold Play Button—when he hit a million subscribers on his channel Record PARK’s. Considering a hacker deleted his content almost a year ago, the vlog’s success is a testament to the heartthrob’s undeniable pull. On both social media platforms, he gives fans a peek behind the scenes of his projects and a look at his day-to-day life that reveals more of his easy-going and fun-loving side. Park Seo-joon is a big believer in fan service as a way to show his appreciation to those who support him, a fact he revealed on several occasions both on his vlog and in interviews. The in-demand endorser As expected of someone as bankable as Park Seo-joon, many brands clamor to get him as a model for their products. In 2018 alone, Soompi reported that he appeared in 20 commercial films across TV, print, and online and ranked “the most beloved by consumers” that year. Fast forward to 2020, the 6’1”-tall actor remains to be an in-demand endorser with contracts signed from South Korea and beyond. A quick look at his Instagram feed showcases his endorsements of everything from clothing to skincare to food and drink, credit cards, and luxury goods. As his popularity continues to soar around the world, he’s become the face of more and more brands, including some here in the Philippines. Earlier today, BYS Philippines revealed that Park Seo-joon has joined its powerhouse lineup of endorsers. The Hallyu star represents the beauty brand’s “Be the Extra in the Ordinary” campaign messaging, reminding everyone of how beauty products can serve as great tools for self-expression. And for someone who has had a remarkable journey to the top and is the type to let his personality shine through in various platforms, Park Seo-joon is a perfect match for the brand which happens to be celebrating its eight year in the country. “I believe the products of BYS Philippines can help you express and bring out your best selves, and allow you to move ahead and be the extra in the ordinary. Extraordinary starts with you and I'm here to cheer you on,” Park Seo-joon says. The next phase As the actor enters his 10th year in the industry, there’s no doubt we can look forward to many more projects featuring our favorite oppa. Park Seo-joon is currently in the middle of filming Dream—a movie set for release next year which also stars K-Pop star and actress IU (Lee Ji-eun). He has also been confirmed to headline a dark, sci-fi film tentatively titled Concrete Jungle alongside actors Lee Byung-hun and Lee Bo-young. While we wait to see more of Park Seo-joon onscreen, here’s to hoping we’ll see him in person, too! He is thankful to his Filipino fans for their overwhelming love and support, and he hopes to meet them again soon. “But now,” he says, “we have to be careful all over the world because of the COVID-19. I hope you guys always take care of your health.” Once the world heals from the pandemic, we’re definitely banking on this dream to become a reality. https://metro.style/people/digital-covers/korean-star-park-seo-joon-extraodinary-life-bys/27453 --- His picnic date of BYS cosmetics is cute https://www.instagram.com/p/CFx0mrNn7aW/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

  5. Yea both HB and SYJ have now done two CFs each. I assume if it is a similar contract. PSJ will also have a year contract, 2 CFs, and upcoming event etc. Curious what he will be endorsing with SMART/not sure what KLife is referring too - something related to kdramas? His face will be all over Phillipines again soon (I noticed it was mentioned here that Bench did a throwback of PSJ being an endorser last year Wonder if they knew more PSJ to come in Philippines lol). You can find the CFs here. They also usually do an interview/behind the scenes video too https://www.youtube.com/user/smartcorporate I guess SMART has been doing a lot of stuff lately even with the whole GIGAFest recently too. I think we all want a joint CF in some form but it is really up to SMART and the actors I guess
  6. I have been seeing more posts lately of how Binnie has been MIA since Sept 12 Even his very short Chuseok message was not satisfying enough.. I guess we will keep wondering how he is until we see his face He was so covered up at the airport too. It was not like we could tell how his hair looked (as his bucket hat was covering most of it too) with his darker skin tone. Maybe he needs to start wearing more bold colors on his CFs or something If part of the Japan shoot was new for the magazine, I assume the black clothes outfit was newer pics used as we know some were from earlier in the year
  7. Actually Chuseok is different every year. 2018: Monday September 24 Public holiday dates: Sunday September 23 - Wednesday September 26 - TN promo period was happening lol 2019: Friday September 13 Public holiday dates: Thursday September 12 - Saturday September 14 - CLOY wasn't filming then. They had those public holidays off.. They came back sometime before Sept 13 from Switzerland. Unknown actual date in September. So this year is: Thursday October 1 Public holiday dates: Wednesday September 30 - Friday October 2 -- These are dates on Google lol. That is the only reason why I know. Regardless the time is spent with family
  8. @serenilmauve there was also this post from Jane (from SMART) - which I realize was a hint for the endorser as the location she pointed to on her instagram post is in Itaewon People thought it was referring to something else and then SMART twitter seemed to clarify when they updated and wrote Coming Soon (above tweet I shared here) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFv5fNUJ4-j/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Yea I realized about KCC after I was like no wonder SMART had to partner with KCC.
  9. I am not an expert but I thought I would post this here as there are people in the comments who think this is PSJ What do you guys think?
  10. Jinnie will be sending a message greeting: https://twitter.com/msglobalpinay/status/1311277895587753986 I think it is a hint for their next endorser Based on their latest tweet
  11. SYJ to send greeting message: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Japan is holding an online reception for National Foundation Day...'Increase Korea-Japan Cooperation' The South Korean Embassy in Japan will hold an "online national holiday reception" to mark the National Foundation Day on the 3rd. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, the South Korean Embassy in Japan will hold an online National Day reception by producing videos and posting them on the embassy's YouTube channel under the theme of "promoting cooperation between South Korea and Japan to overcome new coronavirus infections." The videos posted include a miracle animation of 애니메이션Children's Day Δ a collaboration of Korean and Japanese artists ΔCongratulatory messages from people from all walks of life. Specifically, it included an introduction to the cases of Korea-Japan cooperation related to Corona 19, a greeting from actor Son Ye-jin of "Crash Landing On You" an introduction of Japanese traditional musical instrument Goto, a collaboration with Japanese artists, and a wish for the success of the Tokyo Olympics, which was played by Corona 19. "Although Korea and Japan are in a difficult time, we have a history of cooperation that has helped each other through more than 1,000 years of exchanges as our closest neighbors," said Nam Gwan-pyo, South Korea's ambassador to Japan, in a video message at the reception, stressing that cooperation between South Korea and Japan is more indispensable than ever due to the current stern environment. a major article 1,362 flu vaccinations...489 more. A series of personal attacks and taunts, a chaotic U.S. presidential debate..."The worst in history." He added, "We hope that the two countries will overcome difficulties through dialogue and become more mature in confronting new challenges together while respecting each other." Regarding the hosting of the reception, a ministry official expected that it will contribute to continuing exchanges and cooperation with key figures from all walks of life in Japan in a new attempt to overcome the constraints caused by the Corona 19. 15. They are working on adding accurate translations from the fan meeting (checking japanese with korean) - So more should be added onto the thread soon:
  16. Koreans and their beauty products and facial exercise routines
  17. I thought she always liked to cook though since her friends compliment her on her cooking . We know she was very busy filming in 2018
  18. He already does it too often as pointed out in the video. Also in the CLOY press con, if I remember correctly Jinnie had also done it one point too. I remember seeing a photo captured on instagram? Yes Korean actors do this facial routine a lot.. I just don't understand the choice to do it so often especially when you are doing an interview I understand behind the scenes prepping for a photoshoot or something When you spend 6-7 months with someone closely, you are bound to pick up more of their habits.. It hasn't stopped yet. I wonder why Since she just says she is at home and playing phone games since post CLOY? She checking her phone till she falls asleep? She didn't mention about her garden that we all assume she should be taking care of lol. We know from SMART filmed after Binnie left to Jordan in July she was more into learning her English and using the camera app too much lol.
  19. I know people were very confused why they chose that movie to post out of all the other stuff they could have posted of Binnie but all good Park Sung Woong is also in The Swindlers. Binnie's friend. He had a cameo on CLOY. He was also in Jinnie's movies Open City and White Night. PSW was also in The Fatal Encounter with Binnie. I think they covered a lot They just didn't post fun pics of HB on set with PSW like this one: One shouldn't mess with Open City Son Ye Jin @NonKoreanMango I don't think they were on an actual studio set. It looked like someone's house made into a set? Just the way the background was and you could see the lights from outside. So they probably didn't have a flat screen etc and other equipment to make it fancy. Jinnie's past fan meetings have all been sit down gatherings. It is not an auditorium or a huge venue like Binnie's. There is usually food and tables it seems. It looks like she personally met those lucky fans in the past who got to attend her fan meetings.
  20. Sorry for not realizing sooner. They are so funny We missed an anniversary but his team clearly didn't 2016 - The Swindlers script reading took place Sept 26 So happy birthday Hwang Ji Sung makes sense If they want to be that way, then fine.. We miss another anniversary, Binnie filmed The Fatal Encounter on Sept 10 2016 - Sept 20 Jinnie filmed The Truth Beneath with KJH YAY 2016 September anniversary is sure a hot one My Wife Got Married press conference was on Sept 23 2008. So Jinnie actually ended up working with KJH in the past in September.
  21. All in this CF(s) for NH Agricultural Cooperative Insurance from beginning and end part This And Watch for Jinnie's
  22. Let's do an airplane Woops now I gave myself.. R Kelly's I Believe I Can Fly stuck in my head
  23. To go with their Superman t shirts (here is a couple of songs ) Five for Fighting - Superman - It's Not Easy The happier song lol Daughtry - Waiting for Superman
  24. She does seem to do it more often.. I don't know why they always do it at random moments
