While i was doing some backreading and lurking on news and new items, i discovered that still a few of us go back and forth vaccilating whether our OTP are dating or just close friends. This situation occurs when negative news come out for HB. I can understand that this is because of the shippers like us who also analyze every bit of detail that we can get into like timelines ; etc. Maybe, once in a while, let us get ourselves in check so we know that our ship will dock successfully. Also, because our OTP wants privacy, we cannot get them to confirm the relationship but we have science; statistics; psychological theories; behavioural observations; Cognitive impacts ; FAITH.

 

In Chemistry and Math, you can predict results by drawing a formula and /or equation of your probability theory and you can accurately predict results.

Same in psychology and statistics.

1.) In Grocery we Trust. The start of the wonder why HB had to go to LA and buy groceries with SYJ.    NO , He went there to greet with his presence a special person for her birthday!  No science needed just common sense. .... But why bother to travel so far for a birthday celebration? You do it because that person is very special to you. (Fact)

 

2,) Sightings of them together playing golf and friends do that....SURE, but when you go together always, a Special Feeling develops. Remember, SYJ said, "it is not possible to have a close male friend because later on, one will fall in love". This is the same belief that LMH mentioned in one article. He does not believe  in a male-female close friend because eventually love develops. (Science backed)

 

3,)Change in behaviour ...Both are happy together because they share a lot of expreriences; each admire the works of each other and they both confirm that their teamwork is getting better and better . Even their CFs are together no  matter what rumour is getting around. (Cognition)

 

4.) They protect each other . They complete the message of each ....in interviews...in their speeches like in BA Ceremony.... the bodyguard... 

 

5.) Denials.... They never denied their relationship. Once denied , no science can reverse unless it is a lie! SYJ denied the rumour with KNG in July 14, 2014! For JHI, he did it himself in 2018 as SYJ said she wants JHI to answer. JHI said" what we filmed is a fiction and not a documentary". For HB, no denial but "it just happened... so we shrugged/laughed  it off...SYJ,,, HB answered well. (Fact)

 

I can go on but the above can re-inforce our ship . 1 and 5 are very strong confirmations but not as ROMANTIC as what we are establishing daily here in the Shippers Paradise so keep cool and Enjoy!!!

So @TotoroSY brought to my attention an old Korean news video that @Walk Kindly had posted in one of her sleuthing posts. There's nothing really new since it's after the LA grocery sighting, but I hadn't seen it before. I am not doing a line for line translation but I'll just write a summary here. The news about them starts at 17:13 and goes until the end. 

 

 

 

The video was posted on Jan 21, 2019 right after the grocery pics and the denials issued by the agencies. 
They commented about how they look very natural and comfortable in the grocery pics.

Jan 9 – they were seen eating at a restaurant and golfing with her parents (and they mention the agency debunked this rumor and also said that her parents were in Korea).

Jan 11 – there were rumors going around that they went on a trip together to celebrate her birthday.

They mention that there were also a lot of rumors that HB had gone to Daegu to see her parents not that long ago. (I bolded this because I think this was mentioned in Walk Kindly's post and it could be different from when he may have seen her parents at Daegu during TN promos)

They talk about how their agencies issued denials and talk about what they said about being there with acquaintances.  

They talk about how they worked on TN and noted that they wanted to work with one another again and they show the clip from when he gave her a 90 and she gave him a 100. The main female reporter says that the mood/vibe seems warm and they seem close in the clip. Then the male reporter with the glasses and facial hair says that even he’s in a good mood watching that and hearing them give each other those scores. He goes on to say that they filmed TN in June 2017 and they’re the same age, and it seems that they’ve been close since then.

Main male reporter says that because they already had the rumor 2 weeks prior (Jan 9), he would think that the two of them would want to be more careful especially going out in public to shop for groceries.
The other female reporter then agrees, and brings up the fact that SYJ has said in the past that even if she were to have a significant other, she’s uncertain and not confident about going public due to pressure and protecting their privacy.

The main male reporter ends by saying that he understands because if they make it to the end (marriage) then it could be really good, but because they could break up along the way, he's sure that they have to think about a lot of factors before going public.

Another small tidbit that I found in this video! It's a podcast series led by Eric Nam. He is a singer, but also worked as an MC for shows, and has been an interviewer in Korea for section TV around 6 years ago (he mentions this) and interviewed a lot of Korean and American celebrities. He started this series called "Commit or Quit," during the quarantine where he watches 2 episodes of a K-drama and either commits to it or quits it. This one is on Crash Landing On You and was posted last month on June 15, 2020. FYI, all three of them are not regular K-drama watchers, and you can tell! They also go on tangents. Hahaha.

However, the only reason why I'm positing it is because Eric talks about HB and SYJ from 8:21 to 9:08: 
 

Basically, SYJ was one of his favorite interviewees, HB is really buff, and they are both really nice people. It made me happy to hear! Also all 3 of them decide to commit to watch the drama!

I got an existential doubt XD ... because as many already know this BTS is about one of the photos that comes out at the end of our preciousness CLOY ... I wonder why they still wear the rings?  In other words, it is obvious because it is supposed to be part of the series and so on, but the photo shows it from afar and there are people who do not even look at the photographs, I doubt if anyone would look for the ring if it is there.  Anyway, those rings are beautiful

I finally arrived in Jordan with my weary arms and legs. Today is supposed to be Bin-ssi's last day in quarantine. Filming starts tomorrow. After Hyun Bin starred in Smart Communications Inc.’s newest ad campaign, fans quickly speculated that Son Ye Jin, the Captain’s leading lady in Crash Landing on You, would soon join him in the next wave of the telecom giant’s marketing efforts.

 

Son Ye Jin recently posted on Instagram a shoot similar to Hyun Bin’s Smart ads, and fans lost no time wondering aloud if it was also meant for Smart because the teaser had the same uncanny theme and feel as Hyun Bin’s series of earlier appearances. Even the location looks very similar.

 

 

Is it true or not? Smart president and CEO Al Panlilio won’t confirm nor deny when PeopleAsia editor-in-chief Joanne Rae Ramirez asked him through a text message, keeping her guessing with a smiley emoticon as response. 

 

Son Ye Jin, whose star also continues to rise globally, was recently named “most beautiful women of the year” in an international poll conducted by Starmometer. According to the survey, she garnered 14 million votes, beating fellow Korean actress Song Hye-Kyo and Blackpink’s Lisa Manoban.

I am excited to see the outcome of the CF but i am more ecstatic to see the interview and BTS which i’m assuming would be much like what Hyun Bin did for Metro. And by “like”, there will be questions related to Hyun Bin as well

Thanks a million for translating this video!! I think one of the key tidbit is the possibility of HB visiting YJ's parents tin Daegu. If it was not so long ago, then it might be just before their LA trip?

 

The part about SYJ saying she doesn't want to go public with her relationship is very in line with what has happened the last 2 years where both have denied via their agency. And when they are asked directly (via CLOY press con), they replied indirectly without actually denying it. After CLOY they avoided ALL media interviews as they don't want to answer questions about their relationship, which is very in line with YJ's wish to keep it private. And I believe after past experiences, HB also want to keep this one private. Cuz I believe he believes that this is the REAL THING. It was only post Baeksang award that we saw YJ starting to "let go" and dropped us many candies. It means their relationship is very stable and heading for the next big step.  And I think we can guess what it is.  (pardon if this sounds delulu, and please let me be delulu about it).

I watched the video and feel so warm and happy hearing what Eric Nam say about both of them. He said YJ is one of the most favourite celebrity that he has interviewed cuz she was soooo incredibly nice to him. He also said he ran into HB at the gym, then exclaimed he is "super jacked" (very muscular/ strong) and super tall and can rip his head off with his biceps (LOL). Also that he is very nice and he has friends who worked with HB and they he is such a nice guy.

 

So in summary, we shipped 2 SUPER NICE people, and they are so right for each other, and I just want them to GET MARRIED ASAP!!

That is a possibility. When he attended Life Risking Romance premiere to support HJW, there was a picture of binnie, hjw and her mom I guess at the after party? It is now a blurred picture in the HB thread lol. only the caption in the posts still remains. I remember thinking that was interesting since I know normally Korean celebs don't like their parents being spotted in pics. If that actually happened, then he already met her parents. Do we know when exactly Jinnie left for Singapore in December? 

 

I realized Jinnie literally did the same trip as me even in 2018 LOL except i went in january 2018 lol. i was visiting family in malaysia, went to singapore and then to bangkok LOL.. why do i even have similar trip dates as them for jan 2019. except i didnt go to LA. i went back to singapore and malaysia LOL. My original trip this year was post CLOY  then i had to reschedule and thankfully it got cancelled so i could get a refund LOL

@Peony your post earlier about the hard core evidence gave us so much positive vibes!  THANK YOU. As SYJ will be endorsing SMART as well, makes me sometimes wonder are they for real? Cos, many times real couple who are still keeping their relationship a secret tends to avoid endorsing the product together... I know I am being ambivalent and unsure... but sometimes we need to think things twice to keep us grounded right?

Interesting, I think HB is pretty public on the relationship with HJW. I think they mentioned they are good friends and will sometimes go out for dinner as well. I think HB even went to HJW's brother's funeral... Since they are so open about it, I think they are really just good friends. 

 

Besides, I think HJW are the type of girl that boys will treat her as buddy, someone whom they will go to when they want to ask a girl out or something. But, it's really my humble opinion.
