I think Smart won't use #InSmartWeTrust if YeJin was doing CF for PLDT, although it's powered by Smart.

Because SMART and PLDT is owned by the same person. The only thing is she's holding a mobile phone and she's outside (PLDT, telephone and home internet connection side) PLDT's commercials are always indoor.

I think people are speculating it’s PLDT because PLDT’s logo is red, which is the same shading as YJ’s ad. But from a marketing standpoint: the reason Smart signed her up is to establish continuity to HB’s Smart ad as joint endorsers. So it doesn’t make sense, brand strategy-wise, for her to endorse PLDT, Smart’s mother company, instead of Smart.

 

PLDT’s ads focus on internet broadband and home landlines, but YJ was holding a cellphone (Smart’s forte) in her shoot.

 

There’s also the InSmartwetrust hashtag and Jane Basas using green hearts after her vroom vroom comment, so it’s easy to connect the dots.

Agent @binjinhappypill and I go way back. We don't know each other but it seems we're playground legends like Tom and Jerry. Maybe in our past lives we're part of clan wars. I am part of Bin-ssi's fambam and she's Yejin-ssi's. And in this new world, we have to work together to get our OTP to the altar. Sheeshh..How we hate each other but got no choice.

About the speculation of Smart vs PLDT. I've no idea about the difference haha, but about the indoor vs outdoor, I remember one fan account say that SYJ was filming inside a cafe. So....could that be linked to PLDT? Anyways, I bet Smart will somehow find a way to link SYJ and HB in the CF, whether its Smart of PLDT focused. They are all in the same family anyway, both Smart-PLDT and BinJin.

That was some great analysis there! Putting all these Binjin connections together show how much their world has become closer to each other for quite awhile now!  

- I especially love 22 Sept when Binjin took the cute videos with Kang's son, and later his wife posted them on her IG. Btw, Kang's wife and son was also in Switzerland during CLOY shoot (I believe Kang was there too)

 

- MSTeam CEO going with YJ to Rampant premier. This means HB invited the CEO too.  Well, he'd better, cuz she is like YJ's mom lol!! And he has to pass her test, before she will give away YJ to him. He has likely passed the test with flying colors, just like in MNIKSS. Maybe he also sang LOL!!

 

- Also how you called Belma and Mujin as Binjin stylist for BAA Ralph Lauren couple look. I totally believe and it was pretty obvious that they worked together for that coordinated look and that's why they also coordinated and posted the picture on the same day.   They even did their make-up touch-ups at the same time during BAA.

LA trip= spotted LA 9 Jan 2019, spotted in supermarket 21 Jan,  back to Korea 23 Jan 2019.

Great post! Thanks for the reminders. To add to this, there was also that sighting of HB and SYJ with both their managers at the restaurant during or post-CLOY near TVN studios (we never got confirmation on the timeline right? It was the one posted on that YouTube food review channel where the owner mentioned which items they ordered). 

 

As much as it would be great to see their friends and other known associates post more information about them (only to satisfy our own curiosity) I actually think it's pretty great that their friends barely post anything about them on social media. Even SYJs Cinderella crew who are pretty active online rarely post about her anymore. There used to be a lot of pics of their outings but that has pretty much stopped in the last year or so. They really respect her privacy.

I forgot how SYJ and Yoon Eun Hye became friends. So I went down quick "memory lane" research. They met while she had a cameo on Personal Taste (filmed Feb-May 2010) and became friends after. I forgot who YEH played on PT. Now I've realized (episode 8 cameo as LMH's ex)  Binnie knows YEH from working with her on clothing brand Basic House in 2009. They had a lot of CFs and photoshoots come out that year. Apparently, YEH and SYJ were both in August 2009 Elle? I don't see it mentioned in SYJ thread but this soompi conversation showed up in my search here She was at SYJ's birthday fan meeting in January 2012 and they did an interview together. they hinted at not knowing many nice guys (in terms of helping each other find a boyfriend lol) I don't know why that part made me laugh even more now  The interview is here:

I still think they used that color shading to reference "Christmas"  Why his is green and hers is red  You know let's go back to her instagram on Christmas  Plus we know even Christmas was important in CLOY. Sometime that day she was taken to RJH's parent's house. Since she set up that christmas tree and even got him the gift earlier that day.  Not sure how many days passed till RJH went to the house and made that speech

Going back to her big birthday bash in 2018-our resident Soompi investigator @Walk Kindlymade mention about a secret guest who might have been present (unconfirmed, strictly a hunch).   I was curious and looked back at SYJ's IG posting of the event.  Being this happened over 2 years ago, this might have already been discussed in one of the earlier pages of this forum so forgive me if I bring it back again.

The post dated January 9, 2018 features a group picture.  Comment was in Hangul and it has the double heart emoji- this caught my eye.  On Google translate the last line reads "Thank you for one person and I love you".. 

 

Something may have been lost in translation and she could have meant each person.  It is very easy to put meaning and read between the lines esp one that is a delulu mind).. @celest1alyou probably will say I am putting too much meaning into it.  So can you please in your spare time give the accurate translation? 

 

Lastly, with regards Mr. Kang, he really goes where HB goes (Switzerland, Spain) would not be surprised if he joins him in Jordan.  I especially like how comfortable SYJ is with his little boy.  For what it is worth Mr. Kang's wife follows SYJ on IG (this is why I say Mr. Kang goes where HB goes) and has posted some comments on there before with matching hearts at the end of her comment (Madame Kang a shipper maybe?)  

 

While all these may seem trivial, to someone like me who is so invested in this couple, this means so much!  The BinJin  world has gotten closer. We, here , are also doing our own chom chom choms and discovering our own sweet treasures!

I was able to purchase the full OST album of CLOY from iTunes. Also Spotify will have it.

@HappyForLove he was still shy doing those stuff.. earlier during Rampant promo period. His struggles with the cellphone and later he was ok with swearing  I thought you said you only swear when you are alone  I guess you are ok doing it with male friends lol.  I think it is because JDG is his friend and they've known each other for so long lol. So he is more comfortable doing that with him  Either that or he is in love at that point

All I read from this was.. 

 

Why they made her red and his is green. Mom + Dad lol Got it  We love our parents   (jk they are just colors in the end lol) 

 

Also if you look at the CLOY Christmas tree, the red is the star on the tree  I don't know why I get the Ireland quote of "shining brightly" from that now  My brain  It doesn't help the HB thread uses it too hahaa..
