[Drama 2019-2020] Crash Landing on you, 사랑의 불시착

I felt like this episode was necessary because the stakes were going to be high. It wouldn’t have been realistic if there was no involvement with the NIS. They surprisingly did add refreshingly comedic elements in a serious situation such as through the NIS agents, the CCTV cams and the F4 interrogations.
 

Yay my prediction that CCG would die was correct! I guess now it’s to defeat the bigger enemy - the 2nd brother and the wife, and...the couple’s emotional border between each other, and that physical border between SK and NK too.

 

What impressed me was how they fast tracked SJ and Dan’s relationship and also I love Dan’s mother and uncle supporting the relationship too. It may have been rushed but to me it was a good amount of screen time that was necessary to catch up with the OTP. Their acting and dialogue also sold me as well. They shined in this episode. I loved how SJ made the choice to stay and ripped off the plane ticket with his mouth haha! If SJ and Dan wasn’t on as much this episode, then they would have been dragged into ep 16 which means a truly rushed and a meaningless storyline for them. I also like how they give out a different flavour of love as well.

I felt like the lies JH told in the interrogation scene was frustrating though. It’s not like he could get away with lies by a government agency. I kind of knew it was coming because how this is paralleling what Seri did to him back in NK. It was predictable. 
 

But I’m glad there is still the glimpse of hope where Seri made the choice to still fall in love even if she knew their fate. And the epilogue! I loved what they wore, how they looked at each other in love, the slow mo and the colours of the scene.

 

The last scene was important because throughout this drama, they made their decisions to love based on not really making the decision. “having no choice but to love”. Here, the writer finally shares their thoughts of their choices they want to make, to love. Sure, they are choosing opposite things (i.e. JH wishes to have not have met her, Seri wishes to go through it all again) but I’m glad they are now making the decision for themselves that’s not based on the circumstance.

I understood what he tried to do on this way : We all know that if someone from NK becomes an deserter he would lost his honor and will be torture/killed. So for me he was trying to avoid this. But it's just my point of view ofc ^^ .

I am running out of time seeing it's a Sunday morning and all. North Korea is at war with South Korea. What did you think black ops operstives do when they are caught? Technically even he as a SF soldier he may not have had reconnaissance training for overseas missions etc etc.

 

So my brief, brief comment on that scene? Totally not unexpected. Surprised the writer put it to that extent. But standard for  any of the books I've read. I haven't always been a Kdrama fan.

But RYJ doesn't seem like the type that cares about honor or being tortured. He knows the ducklings are still here and he needs to help get them back safely. I still don't think I get the logic behind that...

I’ve decided to ignore all predictions here because I trust in the writers to give us a good ending and closure as well.

I agree! I went off to watch ep 14! When I came back this thread moved so fast! I think we are very passionate about this drama. And we love to share our feelings. And I think we appreciate all the hard work the cast has done. And I think we appreciate all the hard work that Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin put into SR and JH! I'm glad to see our love for CLOY too. I think it's very easy to fall in love with this drama because you have loveable characters. And I think the main leads are easy to love. I think it's easy to fall in love with Son Ye Jin's beautiful, expressive eyes, and I think it's easy to fall in love with Hyun Bin's tough attitude. He will protect SR! And I think the plot is special. Who would ever think? A lady lands in someone else's country. She finds love. And she struggles with, "Do I want to go back home?" And I think she struggled with, "I was happier with JH, his soldiers, and the people we met." These are just my thoughts !

Yep... I agree! They deserve lot of awards. This scene and also the scene in the hospital (after she woke up)... just WOW!! I literally cried watching! 

 

 And yep... these are my feelings after ep 15 hahaha:

 

 I am so excited for ep 16! I really trust CLOY whole team! I have the feeling that this drama will close as a masterpiece .
 

Ahhhh the withdrawal symptoms will be hard!!

Yes! Take all the awards Son Ye Jin, Hyun Bin, and CLOY!!! Aww this scene is so sad because they have been through this kind of thing so many times.   Edit: Don't cry!

I'm excited too! I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it because we have all been through so much with JH and SR.

They decreased slightly but It were on Saturday and they're super good.

I hope that episode 16 will become the highest rated TvN drama !

Agree with the comrades who are showing love to Pyo Chi Soo in Episode 15. 

 

He is the ultimate tsundere out of all tsunderes. He truly cares despite his loud mouth. lol He sacrified himself for Ju Mok and Eun Dong when they were being chased because baby duckling, though he is the youngest, is his family’s breadwinner. Ju Mok has parents to go back home to. Plus, his dad was very smart because he thought sending potatoes was an assurance that his son will be treated well by his comrades. LMAO But, Chi Soo Dongmu has no one. :’(

 

When Chi Soo thought they were going to be tortured, the first thing he did when he saw Baby Duckling was to ensure his fingers were in tact. Lol Awww if that is not real brotherly love, I dunno what is. 

 

If I were to re-write CLOY with the same cast of course, I’ll make Chi Soo the second lead. LOL but no need for a second female lead. He and his mouth (as he said during the interrogation) are enough. 

 

In an alternate universe, since he has no parents, he can defect to SK and argue all the time with the head of NIS. They are the perfect match. Lol

Daebak!! It’s really good news considering it was Saturday’s episode!  Sunday’s eps have been higher so far. I hope they reach at least 19% tomorrow!!

Just thinking about how hard it must’ve been for Jeong Hyeok to ignore Se Ri when she was in the room for that interview. And then what it must’ve taken for him to look into her eyes and tell her those lies when he’s so in love with her. She was clearly not well, she was concerned about him, but he had to act cold and unfeeling. He’s such a caring person, too. He’ll help complete strangers. I can’t imagine how painful it must’ve been to chase away his absolute favourite person and to watch her being carried away unconscious while he was stuck there powerless. Also Se Ri, how it must’ve hurt to look at him, knowing full well what was going on in his mind because he can’t lie and that he was just trying to protect her as he’d always done. And then the ending of this episode… I CAN’T. We’ve already been through this. Just let them be happy, pleeease.

Se Ri saying that she choose to do everything over again, no matter how scary or hard so that she could meet Jeong Hyeok and fall and love and she would make that choice over and over and over again.

Even if I turn back time, 100 times…
