Both Ye Jin and and Hyun Bin could have used that chance to clarify the dating rumors. Yes, the grocery and golfing sighting where in 2019 but it could be a good venue for them to once and for all put an end to any speculation about them. Now i heard that it could hurt the ratings of the show if they did just that. But the mere fact that they both accepted and did CLOY despite the dating rumors about them proves that they’re  not “scared” of any negative publicity that could affect cloy. 

 

As mentioned by the other shippers in the previous pages, what they gave is a non-answer. They cannot SAY NO, and they also can’t say YES.

 

But their actions were giveaways. That gesture of Ye Jin to ask HB of the time, and her attentiveness to the interviewer that she had to “tap” or touch the arms or hands of HB so he can answer the question... honestly, i wouldn’t do that to a friend. Sometimes i wonder if they also review their vids. 

 

If that’s what friends do, then I don’t have friends! Haha.

How can she tell a lie to appear honest? 
Lies will cost them more (relationship) than telling the truth, but they can’t tell the truth either. That’s when their experiences being in the public eye for 20 decades come in handy. Sneaky BINJIN.

I love the vid in last year's Baeksang where they show the actors being emotional while looking at the clips of the past showing how far the Hallyu waved have come. I want to see them in an action packed film together. It will probably cement their legacy. They have given us CLoY and it rocked the world. It will be impossible for me, a non KDrama fan, to forget even if I am already old and gray. An HB and SYJ's movie deserved to be in the next commemoration. It would be fun to tell future shippers that I was there and how exciting it is to SHIP 2 destined people.  

Oh, I want to cry just thinking how happy it will be in the future. Oh, BINJIN.

Apparently, we only got the Seoul Reunion hug because YJ suggested they should hug. I think it wasn't originally written in the script but they added it. I mean Come On, writers! They just saw each other, of course they should hug! 

 

Ohhh I did not know that! But sounds beautiful! Omo..little tiny BinJin feet running around would be stinkin' adorable! No like seriously, their kids would be out of this world CUTE! I mean momma koala bear's eye smile and daddy eucalyptus tree's dimples? OMG! It won't even be fair to the other kids. Like imagine your kids going to school with HB and YJ's kid! Boy!

 

I think HB would be such a dorky, sweet dad. I LOVED all the BTS scenes when he was sticking out his tongue and being so cute and playful with that little Swiss girl during the piano scene. Such strong daddy vibes! The kiddos will probably try to run to daddy HB when they're trying to run away when tiger mom YJ will discipline them. Then momma bear will have to discipline both daddy and kids! 

@RiRiGaGa    Agree such wasted opportunities, and why the heck would they make it a PG 13 rating drama. They of course knew the leads had great chemistry, it would have only helped the show's ratings even more I think had it been a more mature rating. The meeting in SK @ YSR's place and some skinship there would have  blown up the ratings even higher. Yup the Swiss reunion as well, what's with there not being a hug?????!!! Infact it should have been the running jump hug, I mean they haven't seen each other in two years, there would be such longing that would need to be conveyed !!!!!!!  , the Frenchie after though made up for things, somewhat (said begrudgingly)

 

Also I feel the act of wiping away YSR's tears in some more scenes would have been so beautiful, for e.g.when she wakes up in the hospital, or even in the Swiss reunion scene. HB should have adlib'd there

@Loveumore honestly, normally i avoid putting "malice" into Yejin's arm-grabbing of HB as i believe it's normal gesture for her. she did the same with so ji sub and with SITR guy who even held hands with her and she didn't seem to mind--she sees him as a younger brother lol...

 

but then in that IG montage you shared it consistently showed YJ's eye smile turning into eye heart  everytime she looked at him, which i never saw with her other male co-stars. so yeah that's as swooned as she can be (also probably indicating how relieved and appreciative she was that HB got them through that interview scot-free)

I was catching up with The King today and I was like, why isn’t I as excited nor squealing in glee as I was with CLOY? They have longer smooching scenes, the leads clicked and it basically had the same premise- having star crossed lovers belonging to different worlds. But I cried buckets of tears every time RJH and YSR are being torn apart and had to say their goodbyes. And I kept tearing up each freaking rewatch, ugh. And the hilarious scenes still makes me laugh as if its my first time watching it. Maybe CLOY’s plot was closer to reality and it helped tremendously that the leads had a solid chemistry that goes way back. Not saying that the drama I am currently watching is lacking but I guess mama koala and papa eucalyptus tree really set the bar up high that anything that comes after it, well, just falls short. But husband watched TKEM with me but he won’t stay glued with CLOY.  I was like, what the heck?! I am going to rewatch this a couple of more times and you’ll better be next to me, no dozing off! Lol

Anyway thanks guys for the baseball info. I really think Mama Koala got that baseball cap in LA. Maybe a gift from her close friend who decided to show up flying thousands of miles away unannounced on her special day? That’s just rude you know? Then you have to take him grocery shopping because there’s no food where you were staying and he had the audacity to cook for you?! Gosh, that’s just annoying. And so now you owe him and to return the favor you were now forced to work with him and see his glowing handsome rude face everyday, get to pretend kiss him, laugh with him and hold his hand under the table so no one knows you are just being nice to him. And he has to wait for you to finish work so the two of you can share a ride and share a beer in the couch with one of you spacing out because you can’t freaking believe you were close and you were sharing everything including the bodyluv pillows. Not to mention you need to smell his hair everyday to make sure he takes showers after going to the sauna and before seeing you at work again. And then every time he gives you the mesmerized heart eyes, you feel the need to get even by tugging his coat, caressing his chest and touching his arms to show that you don’t give a damn. You want to call him out because he drinks too much..of you, like he drinks you in every time he looks at you like you are the next best thing since sliced bread.  It  must have been hell of months for you two going thru the motions because it shows that the two of you couldn’t wait for this to be over so you can throw a party together, treat your family and friends, registering both your names, signing your lives in a piece of paper, vowing to grow old together. Yup, in the future when you look back, you’ll figure your life was full of regrets because you married your best friend and you get to wake up next to his offensive dimpled handsome face and it annoys you to no end because every freaking day, he never fails to show you love and devotion. Who on earth would like that?!

I’m not big on astrology but I do believe Binjin are soulmates. They are compatible and fulfill each other’s needs in all different aspects: physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.

 

Jinnie mentioned herself at a TN interview that she felt a connection with HB, they knew things without even having to talk about it. They have a deep and wholesome connection that is very rare.

 

It’s difficult to find someone that can fulfill every aspect of your needs. Many people tend to be happy to settle with someone who only fulfills half of their overall needs as long as the person fulfill their GREATEST needs, eg: some might value emotional and intellectual connection rather than physical, so they may settle with someone who fulfills them emotionally and intellectually rather than the physical aspect of their lives or vice versa. 

 

But Bijin has it all. That’s why their relationship is so special and I am shipping them hard.

Hello guys, just another lurker coming out here for the first time to express my support for this ship and the awesome shippers here -so much respect to those who have been on this ship since the early days and to everyone weathering these little moments of rough waters with more sweet and funny observations of our dear BinJin.

 

Got inspired by @RiRiGaGa posts a few pages back about BinJin's love languages, and all these quotes from past interviews, to come out of lurking and post my own thoughts here. Here's why I ship BinJin in real life, beyond CLOY, beyond the fact that they look so good together. Just a warning though, it's going to be quite sappy/cheesy..

 

1) Their personalities are a great match

- Opposites attract and it's been discussed here many times before - Binnie with his reserved personality and more subtle sense of humor and Jinnie with her candid, bubbly personality. However, I just have to point this out again just because I see this a lot in real life and I love how this sort of thing brings a balance to couples and at the same time, keep things interesting for each other.

 

2) They both enjoy quite a lot of similar recreational activities - golf, traveling, swimming, chilling in sofas, watching tv/movies, enjoying beer, coffee

 

- Let's face it, over time couples get to a point where the warm lovey-dovey feelings fade a bit and you annoy each other even more than usual. Even perfect Capt. Ri can annoy Seri. So how do you keep reconnecting with your partner? The answer might be different for other people but what's been effective so far in my own limited experience, is taking time to do things you both enjoy and find relaxing, every now and then. However "couple time" can always be planned and scheduled but over time, you truly cannot fool yourself into enjoying something that only your partner likes.

 

3) Both seem well-equipped to deal being the spouse of a well-established celebrity

- lol it's not like I personally know any celebrities. But I just can't help myself with this happy thought that if they do end up deciding to tie the knot (and the delulu part of my mind really wants to believe this is a matter of if, not when), how sweet it is that they'll have a partner that can completely accept all the good and bad that comes with their job, who can truly comprehend their private struggles and insecurities and will know how to lend support.

 

4) Both are competitive and driven

-Because they both have this competitive nature, they'll always be able to challenge each other and keep it interesting if things get dull. Also, what I would give to see these 2 on some variety show, in the same team, scheming to win.

 

5) They're both adorable with children 

6) Both love dogs and animals

   -Ugh, they could be such adorable parents to both human children and fur-children

I believe SYJ was honest to share on TV that she planned to get married in 2 years (2014) and the planned marriage did not go her way (2016). It was not easy at all to share such private thing with the public at all.
 

She was so busy filming Shark drama and The Pirates in 2013 & 2014. So I don’t think she had time to date a man outside the industry. 
 

I can not explain why she mentioned the planned marriage on TV, and the timeline fits perfectly. So I believe they used to date but broke up. 
 

YJ’s denial later could have been a mutual consent between the 2 parties before dating to not reveal their relationship to the public whatever the outcome is.
 

Their awkward encounter at Baeksang after the LA dating rumors is a solid proof that Binjin is real.

 

Baeksang showed YJ’s first movie on screen, then that man’s face. They showed YJ’s second movie onscreen, then HB’s face. Why they chose these 2 men’s faces to zoom in among many other actors/ actresses at the ceremony.

 

Anyway, we tend to believe in what we want to believe.
