Since many are sharing their ‘CLOY journey’...i’ll add my 2 cents (without naming names) The only reason CLOY hasn’t blown up like crazy here is because not many consume k-entertainment, even if it’s on netflix.

 

 

Yup, from India. CLOY is like the Korean Veer Zaara, albeit so much better. I actually found out that many people do follow K dramas in India but I think it's limited to girls in college/ younger women. 

One Korean movie that people in India have watched and love is The Classic.  You will find many mentions of it even now. Similarly, I got to know that Koreans love 3 Idiots- it's mandatory viewing in schools. 

 

Now with lockdown here and with recommendations from friends, people have started watching K dramas but it takes getting used to -mainly because the audience is used to Bollywood and American content.

 

I myself watched Classic & AMTR long ago, and remember thinking that the actress is pretty but could never relate that it's the same actress while watching CLOY. Then Wikipedia informed me about it, and Google brought me to this forum.

CLOY was loved by every section of audience in SK be it the younger ones or the ahjummas..it got high ratings but was ravishing the internet as well..

They're ridiculous, now they are saying the guy next to HB wearing a hat in the airport video was the one with the ex in her new picture. It's so obvious it a different guy, the one sitting next to the ex is an older guy and you could tell the logo of their hat are not even the same. Are they completely blind?

This was the Vogue shoot last August 15, 2018.  SYJ putting her knuckles on HB means they were already close before the start of the TN promo. So the presumptions that they were seeing each other prior to that date is valid.

I looked at some SYJ interviews in the past even with KNG and JHI, normally they initiate skin contact . Even with SJS, SYJ kept her distance. 

 

Is it because, SYJ did not have a real close friend before, only HB?  I can only conclude that what the Director of TN said about meeting together over alcoholic drinks brought SYJ and HB close. Of course, as they confirmed, they discussed their experiences and found similarities. I found out that they both do not want to stay in one genre of acting.

HB even during the height of SEGA went for a military training and that interview to me was impressive as even the reporter was astonished why he had to do it at that time of his career. 

SYJ on the other hand, did also want to change her image from the pure,innocent beauty . Just listen and watch the Directors' video and the media discussions coming out now in Twitter! I also read interviews of her in the past about trying other roles .

 

They were both transforming their images and of course encountered positive/negative experiences thus their friendship became very interesting for both of them. Now they found each other where they can discussed their issues which at one point was an issue for HB as he specified in one interview.

 

So @ElectricHearts and @Teeners, i do not know when did that "Loving smiling look of Binnie to Jinnie start????

Amazing how shippers associate everything to their own pairing, from empty crystal glasses, dogs, watches, peaches, humans of any form, stylists, hair salons, hair dryer, even air conditioner brand, refrigerator brand and style,fashion sense, accessories, even color of food, beer, the smiles, even color of teeth, baby photos, even comparing parents and associating dad looks etc, oh and how can I even forget about the ear lobes.....

 

maybe very soon even the air they breathe, maybe even measure the air quality....that day shall come really soon I think? 
 

as for me, I am not HB fangirl/stan because I also talk to LMH, JCW, KSH on their dramas too so I have a auto immunity system in place. 
I am just their journalist friend. Happily married for some 20 years and intend to stay that way.

@CartPusherInLA Oh no I noticed her hints since May. I keep bringing it up now and then and her obvious choice of KH/HK tags.. I was like she did that because she dont know how she wants to take his last name   Kim Hyun or Hyun Kim  When I wrote that comment about whether she has a puppy yet, I was more referring to the fact I would like to see what her puppy looks like on her instagram  She could at least give us that.. no harm telling us what her puppy looks like. There kept being fake subs of SYJ gardening while Binnie was busy working lol.. I remember going I think she is doing other things and not just gardening right now lol  

 

 

@Peony actually the Vogue shoot was the same day as August 9 press con  The time dated on SYJ schedule was the shoot was after the press con lol  So yea  So that entertainment weekly interview was most likely after the press con too but the vogue shoot was later in the afternoon. Binnie was away for MOTA filming in Hungary/Slovenia between August 12 to who knows when he was officially back before Sept 3 (as that was the next TN promo event that kicked off Sept promo period hehe). The golf sighting in August was on August 11

To all the individual Hyun bin and individual Son Yejin's BFFs-

 

This I am writing on behalf of all the fans who were neither binnie or Jinnie fans earlier , they started as binjin fans straight away and also on behalf of

All those solo binnie fans and solo Jinnie fans who started this journey that way but somewhere in between they have learnt to love and respect the other half of the ship  equally .

 

The best thing about Binjin is that they have gained millions of fans from different countries, race, age , religion etc , most of them here on Soompi or on Twitter/insta  love bin and Jin equally , respect them equally be it their professional life or their personal life. 

You solo fans are more than welcome to come on our forum and write things about bin's and Jin's individual accomplishment ,we all will celebrate with you guys but please do not come here to indirectly or directly taunt us about shipping binjin. Do it on their respective actors forums. Also you are more than welcome to come here and call out on people who  insult bin or Jin in any way , we all will be with you or maybe ahead of you in doing that.

 

And one last thing - binjin knows that they are shipped religiously all over the world , they made it very clear during baeksang speeches , holding one trophy and thanking us together again n again , accepting SMART CF , many unofficial fan sites from different countries send them gifts with the card which has their BTS lovey dovey photos on it. So they are more than aware what's going on about them . If they had any problems with it , they wouldn't have posed with the same trophy and thanked us again n again or would have accepted same CF , no matter the money .

So unless and until binjin themselves come out in open and say " please stop shipping us" . We'll keep on doing this. Solo fangirls or fanboys of Binjin if you  don't support us we understand, but u don't have the right to taunt us and that too on our thread.

We binjin shippers are a force to reckon , you can estimate our power by looking at all the current polls going on , we made them win together every damn time. 

The biggest one is baeksang , you know the power of Idol fans in Korea right? We beat them just to see binjin together on one stage .This was the first time in history two Korean actors aged 38 won the popularity award with more than one million votes ,  we binjin family along with you solo fans made it happen. 

We respect you all but you should do the same to us.

PS-Comparison of baby pics, fruits, their eyesmiles and waves - It was all done by young fans on twitter with good humour, it was neither their( young binjin fans) reciept nor ours ( a bit older mature professionals binjin fans). We were just enjoying updates about binnie and Jinnie and I don't think so we'll need anybody's permission to do that whether you are our idols friend, PA or closest acquaintance. 

Unless and until binjin themselves don't ask us to stop.

 

Also I myself don't believe in certain delulu theories like wrap up party cake and same bodyguard, but none of us has the right to call out people who chose to believe in this. After all they all are doing it on shippers forum and that too without tarnishing Binjin's name or character.

 

I only write on behalf of Binjin family not on behalf of exyz camps, they are not my problem.

Some of my recent thots about Binjin :

 

I love how HB said he wants to be in the same space and breathe the same air as SYJ, wants to act with her that way. And I love how he got his wish fulfilled very fast via CLOY (I believe he actively pursued that wish). I bet they are also breathing the same air in the same space outside of reel life, in real life too.

 

I love how I found out that both of them love watches and have collections of them. Even like and own the same brands like Rolex (am not a watch expert so just quoting other fans).

 

I love how during BAA they had their make-up touch-ups done at the same time, as if both their stylists and make-up artistes were together too, and came out together (heard from a rumour that their stylists/ make-up team came to BAA in the same van). I love how at the end of the award event, Binjin walked out together like the power couple they are, and their make-up staff was following close behind them.

 

I love how both of them chose to wear Ralph Lauren to the BAA. And love how even their colours matches - Gold and Blue. I love how their stylists/ make-up team posted their BAA couple picture wearing that iconic couple fashion in their Insta, one day after the other, and they even both posted it as the #5 picture. Also love how RL also shared Binjin couple BAA fashion pix in their official Facebook.

 

I love how HB told us about how he loves to have a craft beer at the end of the day, and YJ said she loves to have a cup of coffee. And lo and behold, in Master of the House SYJ episodes, we saw beer in YJ's fridge. It was R4 beer, a craft rice beer from SK (and based on some fans sleuthing, it seems the beer in their LA grocery cart was the same brand. Though the image was a bit blurry, I choose to believe hehe!). And at the same time, we know HB learnt how to brew coffee in Hawaii, so we can imagine him brewing a-cuppa for YJ anytime she wants one.

 

I love how Binjin looked so much alike in their baby photos, and even now in their pictures together, we can see the same likeness in their smiles, their eyes expression and how they mirror each other in so many different micro expressions and actions. I love that HB looks rather similar to YJ's dad up to even the dimple. Isn't that a wonderful coincidence for this couple we ship?

 

I love that most of us here are fans of both YJ and HB, and also fans of Binjin the couple. After all, that's the reason why we are here.

My rational self find these things funny and amazing at the same time too.

But yes, we are in the shipping business here and will do anything to find even the slightest resemblance between our Binjin couple!

@TotoroSY....now that you mention it, yes the resemblance between our binnie (current bersion) and jinnie’s dad (young photos) is quite evident, esp in that one infront of the golden-gate bridge with jinnie as a super cute and pretty toddler! 
Google is NOT helping by displaying binjin photos for the search prompt ‘son yejin’s parents’
Somebody shared an article about a research study done for studying ‘attraction’. It concluded 4 results. One of which was ‘strangers’ in a room gravitated towards people who ‘looked familiar’, and were found to have the highest ‘genetic similarity’ to them (hence the saying, girls often fall for boys, who resemble their fathers/brothers)
