@Damini Rai You're wrong lol.. do u expect them to have hugs and kisses at the award ceremony? The ceremony is prestigious and everyone's nervous and wants to look their best. Deep down they're thinking am I gonna win am I gonna win.... Plus they have rumours circulating online so they have to be alert and not create any negative news. Their stiffness you mention is probably because they have to be extra cautious in their actions and behaviors. Imagine an intimate couple who has to pretend they're not a couple..... YOU KNOW WHAT.. that's exactly why they look stiff because they have to PRETEND to be NOTT close  imagine if they were just friends then there won't be any stiffness at all. It's because they AREEEE close and pretend to NOTTTT be close that's why we see them stiff..... even though im not sure where the stiffness u mentioned occured .. i didn't go check

Again there are people deliberately bringing in negative feelings  - one who now has 12 similar posts has an obvious pattern of bringing up old news, and often brings a second person to post something similar.  I'm mostly a silent reader (different from a lurker) because I can't keep up half the time with the pace of this forum, and so many people here have already said it way more knowledgeably and eloquently than I can.  I thank all of you wonderful BinJin friends from all over the world who keep this a vibrant, happy and fun forum. We are united in a common goal to support BinJin. I get frustrated with this pattern of disruption though. Could I suggest either ignore them entirely or if you want to respond, please don’t repost their full post  - that's what they want - to get their words repeated as often as possible.

I’m sorry to say this but I noticed that you always come here to express your worry more than appreciating this ship...I wonder if you actually really ship them or just trying to bring the rest of the other shippers mood down...

the reasons why they were like that in so many pages...I wonder if you’ve even read it and I wonder if you’ve actually seen those moments when they were not aware of the camera too.

Just imagine .. not only Binjin shippers.. but even the anti-shippers as well as other ships were expecting Binjin to show some  PDA..That is the power of Binjin nation.

Seems like they had more trust in our ship than theirs. However god is great that he gave some hopes to them when Binjin behaved as professional on the outside.. Honestly antis  would've got heart attacks  if Binjin showed their real self....

But we  know the reasons behind why they were like this at Baeksang and our micro-analysis brought many reciepts which a normal person can fail to gather.

Also knowbody knows what happened back stage. Without any fancams.. those captured  moments were only a few snippets .However eagle -eyed shippers are so talented..that we found many new insights even in those photos.

 

Our Ship is going strong...!! Let the detractors stay in their delusions.

LOL actually they are full of BinJin content. Instead of focusing on their sh*p, they actually took time to watch BinJin interaction in Baeksang. Funny though, BinJin shippers always base their opinions on what they see in BinJin (whether it’s candies or coldness) while the other is only full of assumptions and can’t even provide any real evidence. I understand though, since there’s nothing going on in their sh*p, they will try to sink our ship with all those negativity just to sail theirs. 
 

They can ship all they want, but if they try to attack Ye Jin, that’s a different story.

 

Let’s just spread good vibes and love to both Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin. After all, there’s no BinJin if you’re going to drop the other.

They showed softly yet transparently how "they wish to complement" (and please let me dear say "complete") each other even without saying a word... 

 

They informed everyone that they do know "together they won" our "love"... and this is so meaningful to them! They can't be more delighted about knowing to be loved "together"! Our dreams, their dreams... they're all about love, yeah.

 

They minded to reassure us (yet another time) that their heart beats for everyone who is suffering due to this pandemic which is reshaping our lives, whoever and wherever.

Bingo! There are very obvious trolls with the sole intent of baiting others into arguments. We see them and are choosing to ignore them. 

 

Moving on, can anyone offer a better translation of HB's TikTok speech? I found the English sub to be lacking. He said be would repay the fans with future projects and then somehow the word "burden" was thrown in there but it doesn't make sense to me. Any one have any insight?

Well said and on point. Interesting perspective from a male's point of view which did not deviate much from what most of us think. 

 

Quoted the last paragraph on the interesting opinion 'Bin you look at what he does, but with Jin you look at what she does not do', this indeed sums up their mannerism and behaviour well. Lol. But I do see an improvement in Jin's elusive self in the recent BAA as she seems to be more receptive to Bin jin interactions (eg. Like turning back to look out for him on the stage even though there was a camera panning at them) and reciporcating Hb's signs of affections (subtle ones). Additionally, she openly acknowledged gift receipts from binjin fans which I thought was quite surprising based on her usual character. 

 

All in all, all these acts points to good sign for this ship. Cheers

You are entitled to your own feeling. If that's how you felt then be it. I lost count how many times you posted here only sharing your negative vibe on BinJin. Even if mostly here post about the candies they got in Baeksang, but you still choose to ignore those and instead encourage your negative feelings on BinJin, then there's no sense in "correcting you." No one is forcing anyone here to continue shipping. Follow your heart, dear.

Haven't log in here for more than 2 months and I see so much negativity here. I have been on this forum since earlier CLOY days and I see more and more negativities as time goes by and I understand why many forummer hardly post anything here anymore. Some of us maybe expecting too much for an award show and when we don't get it, you start to feel negative. But first of all, to those who feel HB is acting 'cold', are you guys really expecting this award turns out to be like MTV awards where the couple will kiss on stage? If you are expecting this kind of interaction, I am sorry to say but stanning K-celebrities is not for you. 

 

When you decided to like Kdrama and jump into stanning a Kdrama couple, first and foremost is you need to learn of their culture and how their industry works. Then only you can start to navigate how you want to ship them. If you already lost your trust in them and think they have broken up, I think it is better you jump of the ship to avoid you getting hurt more in the future if you do not get the 'evidence' you wanted. 

 

Shipping is not for a fragile heart. It's either you sink or you sail. Whichever it may be, it is your decision to take a risk. If you are not confident this ship will sail safely and afraid it will sink, just jump and swim to the shore. It is your call. No one force you to board and be in this ship if you have no confidence in them.

First time posting here after being a silent reader for quite sometime. My hobby is to observe lol. Anyway, I truly appreciate all the exciting, funny and insightful posts. The amazing writer @RiRiGaGa, the wise @TotoroSY, the funny @Felizak@t and everyone here!

First of all, thank you so much for everyone in this forum who voted for BinJin and made our dream (i.e. the Popularity Award) come true. If it weren't for that award, we wouldn't get to see them both accepting the award.. and that joint speech! Teehee.

 

Very happy to see BinJin during BAA even though I had to watch it on mute while having virtual work meeting.

Anyway, if any of you ever read body language books, it's said that what we need to pay attention to is any deviation from the baseline. (Pls take what I say with a grain of salt - I am a psych grad but only 1% of it remains lol, I'm sure the psychologist here is the much better expert)

Baseline is how the person (in this case Bin & Jin) normally behaves and any deviation from that, is normally an emotional reaction (positive or negative).

Case in point:

1. Hyun Bin-ssi: Baseline - Normally reserved and quiet. Listened attentively (he kept nodding so that's a sign that he was actively listening) to his co-stars during interviews but didn't stare at them. Exhibited gentlemanly behaviours but maintained safe distance. Okay I can write long essays on this, but you get it. -> DEVIATION: Well, the total opposite of the baseline! Say no more! Positive emotional reaction, cos he's in love. No wonder he keeps grinning ear-to-ear and unconsciously stared at SYJ.

2. Son Ye Jin-ssi: Baseline - Friendly, affectionate with co-stars yet very private (keyword), denied dating rumours with co-stars. -> DEVIATION: No straight denial. Grocery shopping! Man, I'm also a private person and I would be uneasy if any of my male close friend flew to another continent to meet me. Cos I mean, can't we just meet up in our home country? And if the person likes me and I don't like him back... don't even think of meeting up overseas, better enjoy my private vacation peacefully.

And I know people said HB is the more obvious one, but the gentle gaze from SYJ to HB which also happened multiple times is also obvious IMO. Also, BTS episode 12 (look at Yoon Se Ri's gaze at Ri Jeong Hyeok, then compare with SYJ's gaze at HB)

Bin: Longgg staring, Jin: Gentle & sweet gaze/quick glance.

 

Now, during BAA, people said they were acting cold but I totally disagree!

They are high-caliber actor and actress, how they acted in front of cameras is what they wanted to project (which is why I typically don't ship drama pairs, until I saw CLOY BTS and I was like OMG what did I just see??? The real-life chemistry was electrifying LOL).

So, in front of camera (when they felt like they needed to act in a certain way), HB as usual was being a gentleman, polite but.. very obviously maintained distance and their interaction when they got up to pick up awards was very awkward lol.

Still, they might occasionally slip and show their real emotions. Like when they were walking on the stage and SYJ looked back to make sure HB was close to her and her relief (the smile) when she saw him right behind her, plus HB's smile afterwards, reassuring and happy.

Plus SYJ initially stood so close to HB even though it's not a joint award and she had her own mic!

So why did they look awkward? Why didn't they behave like other drama's pairings such as WOTM and WTCB who hugged or obviously showed much excitement when the co-stars won awards? My delulu mind think it's because they were trying to restrain themselves cos 1 - COVID19 restriction and 2 - they knew everyone was paying attention to them at that very moment. So acting mode on!

As for me personally, I believe what I saw .. our ship is safely sailing, very stable one in fact. Hurray!

 

And for Hyun Bin-ssi and Son Ye Jin-ssi if you ever read this post, I'd like to give a heartfelt thank you for bringing so much joy to our lives, especially during such difficult time like now. Thank you for addressing us in your acceptance speech and I look forward to your upcoming movies, dramas and CFs. 

Thank you for doing TN (I love that movie!) and CLOY (been watching K-drama since 2002 and this is my most fav drama)!

Even though sadly CLOY team didn't win major BAA awards, to me personally, it is still the Daesang for me.

A combination of fantastic main leads, funny supporting actors/actresses, amazing Director (thank you for casting them), engaging & moving storyline (thank you, Park Ji Eun-ssi), amazing OSTs, everything is just perfect - that perfect combination deserves a Daesang.

Quoting the lyrics of Photo of My Mind by Song Ga In (CLOY OST) - my fav song, "You're engraved deep in my heart..", "Forever in my heart.. forever."

 

For now I am gonna learn Korean basics bit by bit. Once this whole pandemic is forever, I plan to visit Korea!

Anyone who feels down, please rewatch CLOY, the Swoon BTS videos, CLOY & TN press cons and even BAA. There're lots of receipts all around. And of course.. the grocery shopping thingy. Cheers!
