I personally think we should not speculate on whether BinJin might have mutual attrattion during The Negotiation filming. Because if yes, then it means that Hyun Bin was an emotional cheater. Asian culture is much stricter than Western ones

Perhaps it is best to end this topic but I would like to add that to me recognizing someone as physically attractive is not the same as emotional cheating. It’s human nature to notice physically attractive people as just that and to me there’s nothing wrong with that. The problem arises when someone who is committed acts on that attraction which did not happen. It’s all about timing and circumstance, and IMO HB and SYJ got the timing just right and their potential blossomed at the right time (beginning of Negotiation promotions) in the right circumstance - and that’s part of the reason why it’s so beautiful and shipworthy

I am preparing for another meeting but my cat wanted to say that we can all take this quarantine/lockdown as an opportunity to improve and acquire new skills. Maybe for us our communication skills.  We can always agree to disagree. This is a forum and a shippers forum at that. There will always be clashing opinions coz we jump in here hailing from different backgrounds. You maybe an SYJ fan while he/she is an HB fan. Me and my cat are BINJIN fan. So, we should all strive to have our meeting of minds as fun as possible. Let's try not to put all the previous efforts of the senior shippers to keep this ship sailing be in vain.

I think what they had during TN filming is pure camaraderie. We can see they became closer during their promotions. They were almost together everyday on September 2018, maybe they became fond to each other after their promotional activities, so they met up a few (or many times I wish) times (including L.A). And they really want to get to know each other more, hence CLOY happened. This is just me because I don't want to assume more heheh..

 

I guess the important thing now is what happened or what will happen after their drama. We are all thirsty for new news about them, sadly until now all we can do is wait. 

 

It's nice to go back and watch again their interactions because it fuels our hope to this ship. Let's trust our instincts and pray harder for our couple.

Well, to lightening the mood, here is one of my favourite BTS - apart from the hospital BTS. 

 

 

I discovered HB likes to mimic SYJ movement, it’s his subtle way of teasing SYJ. Like the BTS scene just before SYJ held HB’s belt and ask him to spread his legs - it was him who trying to copy her facial expression and hand clasping. Even on the couch interview, he pouted when he saw SYJ did that. If we pay enough attention we can see HB showing his doting side to the lovely SYJ. Its like hey, we are throwing you shippers some candies, will you notice that?

 

 

In one of my post earlier, I was wondering why during the last kiss BTS in Swiss, after the director shouted cut, SYJ had this shy smile and looked at HB and HB touched his eye also (a gesture he usually do when he is shy). Only when I saw the close up video of the kiss someone posted on the Chinese website weeks later, then I understand. They had a French kiss, SYJ didn’t expected that and HB was shy because he couldn’t contain his feeling (or control his tongue ha ha).

 

I have to say BinJin addiction is real & hard to get out of. Never in my life, there is one couple made me fall in love with them. I bet you all are. All of us are now like a bunch of teenagers, heart fluttered, smiled like idiots when we saw their affection movements. I just hope they won’t make us wait for long. So hang in there and be kind to each other shippers.

I think they are referring within korea itself. I mean she has lots of followers locally if we compare her to some who has above 5mil followers which were garnered mostly ouside korea. Nevertheless with those followers locally it was reported before that she can manoeuvre her movie into a box office hit.

Can't believe I'm reactivating my shipper status to join all of you in wishing our BinJin couple safe passage to marriage. Why did I wait to join all the fun? It's because my previous ships have sunk & I do not want to bring that vibe into this forum.

 

But alas, I couldn't deny the red flags of this couple. Firstly, the grocery shopping in LA. If my gossipy "ahjumma" brain remembers, Jung Woo Sung & Lee Min Ho were caught abroad with their respective paramours.  Any confirmed sighting abroad of a K-ent couple - that's as close as being caught by Korean Dispatch.

 

Secondly,  I have never seen in all my shipping history,  the motherlode of video recordings between these two. The TN promos, CLOY promos & CLOY BTS.  Have a feeling the CLOY cast & crew had a non-disclosure agreement, especially the director, because how else can one account for all the camera views going for the wide shot whenever they kissed? 

 

Finally, the eyes and gestures of Mr. Hyun Bin. This man has been used to admitting whoever's his girlfriend is at the moment but now he can't, since Son Ye Jin has never admitted her relationships. However, he just can't help himself since, I think being an ex- Marine & a businessman, he just can't lie .... which takes me back to CLOY and a certain Capt. Ri, who also doesn't lie, but was able to because of Yoon Seri.  Perhaps, it's art imitating reality ...

I tried to avoid FMVs before coz I don't want my objectivity to be influenced but since I've decided to be on this ship, I've spent considerable amount of time on them! I squealed when I first saw it. Oh my heart! Where is Le Boyfriend?!? You know, we can't call it French kiss if only one person is kissing with the tongue. We all saw it! Yiiiiiiiiiii !! 

 

And @cgb1108 You nailed it! It was art imitating reality indeed. That's why I have so much faith in this ship. All of the reasons why we're here aren't just based on fandom (I guess). Oooo… so much chatter over an old TN photo. Each time I think to ease back from this forum, something happens to warrant comment. Since I am the most recent person to do a posting of that TN photo of SYJ looking at a smiling HB, I wish to say something. My post was about my belief that sometime during TN, there was mutual attraction but that I felt (again, my belief) that BinJin’s relationship only arose 9-12 months after that (when HB’s relationship with his ex was way, way over). Generally, when two people are in a relationship, it doesn’t mean they lose their vision; incapable of noticing others. The fact that no quick action is taken on any attraction indicates the person to be faithful and loyal to that relationship, which is a compliment to him/her.

 

As for speculation, I reckon speculation in itself need not be harmful PROVIDED it is made clear that it is the speaker/writer’s own view and hence, unconfirmed. Speculation only becomes dangerous when it is presented as fact. That’s what happened in the hands-under-the-table incident: Some zealous fans were using that photo as “factual evidence” of them having a secret relationship. It blew up. We have enjoyed in this thread and its mountain-load of comments accompanying photos/vids that are mostly speculations; yet, we think they’re fun and we want more. Well, I think they’re fun too and OK because when I read them they are clearly the by-products of the persons posting it and not claiming to be fact.  So it doesn’t trigger a knee jerk reaction against them.

 

That said, I do feel that underlying most of the “protests at speculation” voiced here are based on a genuine concern for HB and SYJ. BinJin as showbiz royalty are incredibly exposed and vulnerable. In that sense, I value and appreciate the concern and reminder for caution. After all, Son Yejin and Hyun Bin are not just objects of our daily entertainment but real live people who’ve worked awfully hard to bring us cinematic joy and are deserving of the happiness they seek.

 

I was watching CLoY again (I think it must be 20x or more now) and came to this scene. I thought my tear ducts were numb by now but no, I cried AGAIN at this scene. CLoY and BinJin came into our lives like a gift. And this thread is really about those 3 precious words in relation to BinJin, isn’t it?

I came across *Archiveofourown.org and this very talented fanfic writer *CoolIssue  with her story *At Long Last (not completed yet). I don’t know how to post the link, I am such a technologically challenged dork, but I swear her work of fiction is well written and thought of as though you are seeing the untold story of season 2. The writer is actually a fan of both RIRI and BINJIN and she is really, really good. You’ll read a lot of referencing about our couple. This is more of a RIRI, but while I am reading through it, I am picturing BINJIN, must be the drought to fill in as my filler. A thought of caution though, it has a lot of mature contents, but well thought of and research. Check it out.

@BJHope I did watched episode 16 again (among my favorite including 6 and 10) last night and really, they saved the best for last!!! The beautiful love story of Ri Jeong Hyeok and Yoon Seri  is etched in my mind and heart probably as long as I live. Its really the best story ever! Worth winning the best story, best actor, best actress, screenplay, best director, everything. I hope it's going to be a sweep! CLOY never gets old.  I kept on repeating and repeating this goodbye scene just to see how HB and YJ were protraying the roles, how their own tears kept falling down their faces, seeing them with their couple rings, and how they spoke their last i love you's to each other. Bravo!!! It's so heart breaking and thrilling. The reunion at the Swiss Alps is just beautiful and unforgettable! I dont think I will ever get tired watching it. Because of CLOY I became a BInJin fan and because of the BTS, TN interviews, CLOY presscon, Swoonies and the grocery shopping, I became a shipper. I think there is hope that these two will really end up together. Agree with @BJHope.
