first time join this thread. been dosing my self reading wise analysis of BinJin shippers. RIP to replay buttons, but i spent most of my quarantine period watching their BTS and interviews and it just helps me see what really is the real score between the two (i can only hope), but i do believe in them... much has been said of them, but lease bear with my version as well....

majority of what i have read on who's more in love with whom, HB always fails to keep his guard. he is always the one who fails to control the feelings. maybe because, HE COULD NOT IN ANYWAY CONTAIN WHAT HIS HEART WANTED TO SHOUT OUT LOUD ALL THIS TIME! in psychology, and i think this also goes with medicine, when our body needs to express something, we naturally have to give in to it.. however, that is not always the case. like, when you want to say something but because of some situations, you just cant, so the body reacts in the form of psychosomatic disease (manifestations) --headaches, colds, cough (especially when we cant express it the way we want), along with the head aches is the body language that fluidly demonstrates, what the tongue wants to say.... again this is for HB.

SYJ on the other hand, kept jokingly remarks (swoon nterviews, PC, etc), that she's a great fan of HB, who on the other hand finds it hard to believe and even said, what she wrote was a scam (HAHAHA. this is from swoon...I guess he was too flattered and so happy to hear it)... Jokes hide the reality of our statements. many times in SYJ's interview, whenever she is asked of HB's previous movies, she can right away give answers--e.g. movies titles, name of characters etc. .. which means, she has been following (lurking at him) ALL THIS TIME. When she accepted TN, the biggest factor was much because, HB was considering it... to her, (i guess) that was" a now or never moment"... she immediately said "I CAN DO IT". She has never worked with him, but SHE ALWAYS WANTED TO WORK WITH HIM. perhaps, for artistic reasons?? for experience??? but what keeps me wondring is, why after all this time, she still remembers his movies?! to me, when a woman is interested over somthing or someone, she has a tendency to mark and remember something that is strongly connected to something/someone that she wants. many things happen in a year, many movies are made, artists come and go.. there's gong yoo, kim soo hyun and all oppas in K-ent to remember, but why does she have that fire to work with HB?  and remembers all his movies, albeit all? the posts on SYJ's IG... i dont know how special christmas is with koreans, but what i do know, it's a special and most celebrated season in the world... and why on earth will SYJ post a christmas greeting with a picture of her and HB  together? hmmmm.

i'd like to believe she was fangirling, but along with that, beneath the jolly manifestations of fangirling, is the strong feeling inside her towards that MAN. Girls, we can always, just laugh it all out load, joke around... but what can we do? it's the easiest way for us to exhaust a strong feeling that makes us restless....right? and that is what i saw in HER. 

Guess on the part of HB, as he said, she talks so much though hey eyes... and EYES ARE THE WINDOWS to the soul... HB always look at her through the eyes... and i am sure, she saw THROUGH HER EYES, WHAT SYJ HAS INSIDE HER HEART. HE SAW THROUGH HER EYES, WHO IS THE MAN THAT CONSUMED HER HEART. HB wont play so in love if he did not see any chances from her... i believe. he won't lay down his cards if he is not sure to win. both of them has that kind of personality--always wanting to be sure of something. after all they are businessmen. they stood in the industry for 20 years by playing their cards wisely. 

SYJ may have wanted to keep it low key, because that is the only way she can protect that prize she won for patiently waiting all these years! that prize is more than grandbell and baeksang, though! hahah. sometimes, in life, the best way to be safe is to keep silent. as the song goes: YOU SAY IT BEST, WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING AT ALL. 

Since both of them want this to work out, both are exhausting all means to protect what they both wanted to have.  THEY ARE EACH OTHERS' PRIZE. SYJ is a wise woman. she is a good investor. she knows very well how to play the game and protect her cards. 

i admire HB, though he respected SYJ's (i assume) decision to keep it in safe box, he remains demonstrative of his feelings. and notice, SYJ does not stop him from being too much obvious. SHE LIKED IT THOUGH. HAHAHA (Assuming again).... i mean, i myself am an independent woman.. i would not want a man to keep assisting me over little things as it will certainly irk me....but if the woman likes the one who is doing it, then there's nothing wrong...no problem with it... hahah. anways, SYJ allowing HB to be extra caring is her subtle way of saying: "HE'S MINE."

on the claims that SYJ is dominating their relationship... i think NO. BOTH ARE TRYING THEIR VERY BEST TO PROTECT EACH OTHER. Again, BY NOT SAYING ANYTHING, YOU CAN SENSE THEIR STRONG DESIRE TO PRESERVE WHAT THEY REALLY HAVE BETWEEN THEM. 

i have faith in these two. their love is so strong that even the world can feel what is about to explode inside their hearts. it just shines... according to a saint, love is ought to be demonstrated not so much in words, but much in deeds. 

what i am so sure of is that, both are equally in love with one another. because as you see, LOVE ALWAYS AIMS FOR THE GOOD OF THE OTHER. and that is so visible in them.

i also think with the many years where HB could have the chance to work with her, i guess he, felt all the while that he is bound  to fall in love with SYJ. he tried avoiding her because he wanted to come to her as a man. ready to protect her, love and cherish her. and the timing was just right. TN was the gateway. imagine, the director was a newbie, but because "HB was considering it" and "SYJ is in it" they both dared. during the CLOY period, rumors about them spread like wildfire, but they cared less... they wanted to fulfill that desire to work together as professionals. now that they have each other, everything is falling gradually in its rightful place.

oh. this is rather getting lengthy. anyways.. they're my two cents

and so here, i rest my case.

I tried to figure it out. This thread is mostly good stuff about our fab BinJin, which is why I joined. But trolls appear (one past Moderator even mentioned that this thread is particularly vulnerable to antishipping and disputes), so I’m drawing from the wisdom of the shipper-crowd in this thread to make sense of this creature, the troll. The explanation offered by past shippers goes like this: K-ent fans are intense. A certain segment of that fanhood migrates from adoration to obsession, treating actors as their personal possession. This particular kind of fan fantasizes being in an actual relationship with (in our case, HB). When HB gets paired (with SYJ), this fan regards it as a betrayal of love and devotion, which then leads to bitter rage. The rage builds up so much that the misery cannot be contained, so this fan offloads the misery into other outlets, such as this thread. This explains the venom that is poured into some postings here. It’s annoying but it’s also pathetic and downright sad. I don’t know how such fans can be helped apart from medication and professional help. Perhaps as an immediate remedy, they can step back for a period of time, allow some critical distance to set in between themselves and their obsessed-objects and restore their balance. At least they can breathe again. And we can be spared the bile and venom spewed at us.

 

Questions about who loves who more in BinJin is to me, yet another incomprehensible phenomena. A relationship is about sharing; it’s not a competition. And people show their feelings differently at different times, so why attempt to "measure" each one's love based on what we can see from public sources (which is probably just the tip of a huge iceberg)?

 

For those we are super-new to BinJin, HB and SYJ are well known philanthropists, supporting a range of charities. Recently, they each donated hundreds of millions of Won to fight Covid. Interestingly, they donated to the same charity, albeit different branches – HB to Community Chest Korea and SYJ to Community Chest Daegu (her hometown) and reportedly on the same day 27 Feb 2020. Wink, wink. Her donation was reported by media but he kept his donation hush-hush and was only eventually revealed by the beneficiary, I think. I half suspect that he kept it quiet as he didn’t want to steal SYJ’s thunder. After all,  he is always proud of her and she was one of the early big donors that kick-started actors doing the same. HB and SYJ love animals. HB has campaigned against cruelty to animals and SYJ supports education for kids from low income families. There is truly much to respect and admire about our BinJin. Aren’t we lucky to be on their ship?

@BJHope is on the money about the swarm of antis that seem to flock to this thread, in my opinion. Jealousy does seem to be the motive behind people constantly saying things like HB doesn’t really care about YJ or that YJ seems to constantly bully HB or some other ludicrous speculation. I know we have to be patient about the marriage announcement but I wish BJ would announce it already just so these losers would shut up. It truly takes away from the fun of reading this thread when they’re around but hopefully they’ll get the message and just stop making bot accounts to rage on here again.

Ughh! here we go again with the comparisons of who love the most, who makes more money, who has the upper hand in the relationship, who is better,  who gets the first say, and etc’s.? Why do we always have to resort to comparisons? Can we just be happy for them and leave it as it is? First and foremost, we don’t get a say on the BINJIN relationship. It is between two consenting adults, who I think are more than capable enough to figure out something for themselves to be in that relationship. We are here only to SWOON over BINJIN, play cupids, send them to the altar (which I hope soon) and to some degree play protector to them and to their privacy because of the ever increasing cynic and pessimistic populations around them. 
People reading some negative posts had a hard time grasping the context of it, how much more the people involve? No wonder, BINJIN are going incognito. Can’t really blame them. I’d rather they stay quite and enjoy their alone time together in private than going public and be continuously judge about it. We put them in a pedestal that we forget they are humans too just like the rest of us. Every humans need to have their private moments, but most especially BINJIN away from the flashing lights. Enough with all the negative overly analytical thoughts, we are past beyond that by now, let us celebrate BINJIN instead.

Hi shippers! iv been incognito as silent reader who ship our lovely binJin soo hard all this while (actually i can consider YeJin is my #girlcrush), eventhough it seems quite a challenge for me to refrain my fingers from typing my opinion. But im done refraining myself. To me, they're more than friends or good friends (BFF or more perhaps..?) Come on, they are also human constantly leaving something to be read between the lines (fighting!!) And i think, i'm now at the point that i can accept & respect the signal that our binjin showed us, whatever status they're having between them now, they want it to be private (at least for now), far far away from the limelight. But it doesn't mean that we can't continue to show our support for them here right? 

 

I'm now more dying to see their next on screen pairing again it's a heart torture u know when i just have to keep repeating TN and CLOY again n again n again, everyday, just to cure the craving at their sort of one-of-it's-kind chemistry Anybody with me..?

Welcome to Soompi. You seem to put lots of energy into speculation about SYJ  in your very first post

 

Both SYJ & HB said that they both watched each other movies. As a competitive person, SYJ puts 100% efforts at everything she does, so that’s why she hardly loses in anything. Moreover she always studies about her costars acting methods so she can act upon it. She said different costars create different chemistry. She is Chemistry Master for a reason
 

 

HB accepted TN because SYJ played in it. SYJ was surprised to know HB accepted the movie as he had to play a villian (opposite to his character on screen). SYJ didn’t choose TN just only because of HB (she likes the scripts)

 

Just want to share with you about SYJ as you are probably not a SYJ fan. She always gives lots of compliments to her costars, jokes & laughs with them all & can be touchy (make her more attractive) at time. But the grocery shopping is what makes HB different than the others 

 

It’s great to see HB agrees to keep their relationship private because SYJ wants to. She means a lot to him, I believe

1.The scene where JH was jealous to learn Seri's history of dating, Seri said something like it's also his fault because he just appeared later in her life (they worked together just 3 years ago) and he is from the other side (villain). 

2. Seri and JH checking netizen's praises to him for being so modest (people praised HB for being so nice and protective to Yejin).

3. JH being such a jealous guy, separating the company 5 squad in their embrace. To think of, most of them are young boys (there's something in the.... hahaha).
