OMG.....it has just dawned on me that....it means Ikjun has been oblivious of this fact that Song was in love with HIM back in 99. I dont know why but i was always under the impression that IkJun knew Songhwa loves him in their college years. S.h.i.t...... had he known that ...he definitely would have asked her out.
So it means he hesitated not only cause of Seokhyung sake but also out of fear of rejection because he thought Songhwa actually liked someone else, so she would reject him....O.M.G.
where had went this smart RickRoll'D insa's all intelligence and smartness that could not detect SW interest and liking for him. 

 

I don't know what to do with this sudden revelation that has just dawned on me. Pain ....pure pain....uri ikjunni....i feel so sorry for you once again.

 

I wrote it last season i am writing this again...in this whole process not only SW suffered as ikjun got married but also Ikjun suffered equally, even more. He also watched SW dating another guy for 3 -4 long years right in front of his eyes....and after that with other guys on different occasions all along loving her silently and bearing his pain lonely...as there was no one he could talk to....btw he dont talk his problems to any body even in present times.

 

Aaaaah.....why the strong headed, strong willed SW did not take an initiative and proposed him first...why oh why...had she done that...might be the situation would be different.

This episode is probably my favourite so far because of the tribute to ER, nurses, radiologist and anesthesiologist. Especially the past year with Covid, these groups are pretty much at the frontlines of the battle. I especially love the well deserve side-story about Dr Bong's as he has been one of the warmest characters from the get go. To hear JWan giving credits to the ER team when the question was between the hear and abdominal surgery was great. In fact, JWan and IJ were attentive to Dr Bong when they were called to the ER to be briefed about the patient, showing great professional respect.

 

Parents who want their kids to be doctors usually want them to join the more glamorous specialities - cardio, neuro, aesthetic etc - rarely do they want their kids to be ER doctors. And unlike specialists who have the opportunity to build relationships with patients through regular check ups, consult and ward rounds, things are different for ER doctors.

 

I'm happy the cat is outside the box on the Bidulgi couple front. So the the ball is in JWan's court now. He may choose to reconcile or truly break off now that he knows the fact. But for me, the best part in JWan's storyline has always been his strange relationship with JHak. JWan is the older one and the more superior, so it's funny to see how JHak isn't intimidated by him.

 

Bear couple seems like they are heading to happy ending, but I'm also worried that these are merely to make us think that way. SHyung may genuinely like MH, but that does not necessarily mean he is willing to take this chance. Not now, at least. I do think MH is a better choice that the ex in many ways, but first SHyung must be the one to step up. We know that his mother is not going to warm up to MH immediately,but how would he deal with this dynamics. I think MH can handle his mom - provided SHyung stands with MH. If SHyung stands with his mom, we will see a repeat of his first marriage.

 

IkSong is getting a bit draggy for me. I love them as friends, but I don't enjoy seeing SHwa like this when she has 'rejected' IJ. And I couldn't understand her heartbreak in college because they didn't even date back then.

 

I'm glad Winter Garden took a romantic break this week because as far as couple goes I find them the most awkward. I'm fine with GW, but I find JWon rather clingy. Sometimes, he talks to her like how he talks with his patients. Assuming GW's family issue is domestic violence, how will he deal with her? We know JWon is protective but such matters are really private. If JWon senses something wrong would he give GW space the way MH did?

 

I welcome the guest appearance of YJM. Been awhile since I last saw him in a comedic role!

I applaud the writer. And the director who directed it seamlessly. I just watched episodes 7 to 9 in 2 days.

 

Not going to break it down to the macro level. But the symmetry is beautiful. So neat. So organised. The writer has such an organised mind. I am not like you all analysing every single frame of the second of the episode. I am commenting on rhe overall feel as the episodes move along. In light of the critical views I read earlier about how mundane this show has become.

 

Episode 7 was all about the patients views.

 

Episode 8 was about life and death. To expand about this statement I guess it dealt with what or how death/ impending doom changes someone.

 

Episode 9 was about the main cast and the writer now dealing directly with their storyline. However the theme if I may say so is love. Notice the 3 other minor scenes involving a male and a female. And it also deals with the staff's feelings when it comes to comments or how they are viewed by patients/their families.

 

Breaking it down. To be symmetrical. The 2 couples who had a relationship are facing impending issues. The 2 potential couples or their stories are entering the game. So 2 couples stop. 2 couples will go.

 

Wooyah!!! The SK ice cream scene. And the rain scene. We finally had the writer deal with the elephant in the room. What made me go onto whoops was AJW and IJ discussing what the viewers have been discussing. When JW said its game over I was so amused I laughed so much.

 

Quick comment on the episode itself. 2 mentions about smokers/ smoking. Wow. I know Koreans smoke. But wasn't expecting 2 outright scenes.

 

Second- the ED scene. I felt for the resident. The PICU nurses and ED scene touched me a lot. The writer has empathy and wrote it so well. Very sensitively done and all so real.

 

Three. And its minor but man the special effects and make up was so well done this episode. What are you going on about ck1oz? The blood. Clots. Jaundice. The runny or consistency of the blood. The clot sizes. The colour of the blood and on their gloves. Not too thick but the correct runny effect. Not the wrong shade. I've seen professional level medical make up kits before where its used for trauma scenarios.

 

The attention to details in this show is astounding. One of the best medical effects I've seen for a long time. Even the ER procedure and the way the actors hand movements when they did they all the procedures. So smoothly executed.

 

And one out of topic mention and since its such a boring thing will try to make this paragraph short. The drama is an Utopian hospital where people get along. And these comments below are in answer to the boring comments about season 2.

 

2020 and 2021 has been crap for everyone. We lived in fear in 2020. And we are now so tired in 2021. Its been so long since anyone has any face to face meetings. Everything is on Zoom. You walk around all day in masks/N95 and have freaking face shields/ goggles. No shared food anywhere. I saw a scene last week where there were individual plastic partitions at the tables for one Korean army camp; that's so sad to see. No dept meetings. Overtime daily. Getting freaking messages daily on your days off to come in to work.

 

And viewers call it boring? You can't even sit down to eat in a group. Half the time you can't even sit down to eat as indoor dining gets restricted because of lockdown restrictions. Boring hospital drama? If only we had a boring life.

 

And oh yeah the table tennis interruptions? I laughed because hahaha how many times have I dropped or had to leave to run off. Even if I just put my plate down. The writer's attention to details is astounding. And seeing how the actors do NG I cannot believe how seamless the actual scenes look in each scene.

 

And the Wintergarden couple. Geez. That's showing how a hospital romance survives and grows. If you don't make the time it shrivels and dies. The WG scenes were realistic. Not flashy. Not dramatic. 

 

I saw the episode 10 preview and since episode 7 to 9 were between 98 to almost 120 minutes long I hold great hope that the relationships angles will be sorted out.

 

If the writer is that meticulous the writer/PD team will already know what's happening. And since we have a break after episode 10 the last 2 episodes should round this up. After all these 2 episodes will be at least 200 minutes or more. That's over 3 hours of air time.

 

I actually feel really relaxed and chilled after watching the 3 episodes. Sorry. Was feeling morbid at work when I posted the comments. We just dodged the Delta variant a month ago but expecting it to hit again. When my interstate friend posts a daily prediction number of cases board at work. And we are preparing to send food support parcels to the interstate colleagues of the same specialty. And we keep getting hammered with wellness activities or the even have counsellors post the times when they will be in my dept? Then yeah Hospital Playlist is a nice show to watch to relax/ destress.

 

Sorry. Haven't posted for a bit. And I don't have the time or actually it doesn't bother me or worry me enough to check each subliminal meaning of an object/scene/ line/ lyrics.

 

I just had a nice almost 5hrs and 20 min of Hospital Playlist the last day. All ready for real life. Lol. Where no one drinks coffee now at the desk. How in the world can you with mandatory masks on? And I am sure its the same in SK. I have always kept up to date with what's happening in SK because we have friends there. And read the news articles. At one point I was even admiring their CDC webpage contents- its in Korean- but an amazing site. The Covid reporting/tracking last year were truly astounding.

 

And Covid doesn't exist in Hospital Playlist. So bring on this day to day life of Yulje Hospital. Didn't you guys like the outpatients clinic scenes? I loved it. Those scenes in the last 3 episodes and the hospital rounds were so soothing to watch.

EPISODE 8 RECAP

 

Joon-wan and Jung-won find themselves at home much earlier than expected and drink away their respective sorrows. Though the friends can tell that something is bothering the other, neither of them wish to divulge their problems.

Rosa manages to get inside her house after forgetting her passcode, but the experience has left her shaken. She cries under her covers, and on her bedside table is a list of important dates such as her children’s birthdays.

 

During breakfast, Ik-soon devours a carton of eggs, which leads the siblings to squabble about her diet and make fart jokes. He orders his sister to stop teaching Woo-joo weird stuff, but his son has already learned a new, oddball trick that leaves him frozen in shock. After sending Woo-joo off to school, Ik-joon offers his sister a ride to the bus terminal since she prefers it over the train, and he fusses over her health like a caring brother.

As soon as Joon-wan arrives at the hospital, he heads straight to the ER and misses Jae-hak’s enthusiastic greeting. All the regular fellows beside Gyu-wool are on their way to the convenience store, and they notice Min-ha’s new makeup look. Jae-hak cracks a joke that leaves the others speechless, but Min-ha finds it hilarious much to his delight.

 

 

ung-won meets with a patient, and the guardian glances down at her list of questions. She apologizes for her behavior, but Jung-won understands her worries and takes his time answering everything she prepared.

Ik-joon’s transplant patient—the recipient of the Daddy-Long-Legs program—is back in the ER, but this time, Joon-wan looks over his charts because of a heart issue. Meanwhile, the others wrap up their morning appointments and gather one by one in Song-hwa’s office for lunch.

 

Before Jung-won joins his friends, he receives a call from Gyu-wool, and she tells him that her mom broke a few bones after a fall. He offers to visit, but Gyu-wool says that there is no need. She might not be able to contact him for a while, but Jung-won is fine with that since her needs come first. He asks one more time if everything is alright, and she says that it is.

 

 

As the friends enter the room, they balk at the large quantity of food and wonder if more people are coming. Ik-joon tells them that Song-hwa ordered and bought them all specific flavors—even considering the muggles’ tastebuds. Joon-wan asks what a “muggle” is, and Ik-joon turns to Seok-hyung, who instantly replies, “Shut up, Malfoy.” Pftt.

The two friends are still teasing Joon-wan when Jung-won comes in, and Ik-joon stops to ask about Gyu-wool. He was surprised to hear about her break since they have a lot of surgeries scheduled, and Jung-won explains how she barely used her vacation days so the chief allowed it.

Joon-wan wonders why Song-hwa is late, and Ik-joon informs them about her lab meetings on Mondays. He knows everything about her schedule, even the fact that she advises eleven people with their thesis. (Does Song-hwa have the Time-Turner?)

Actress Lee Il-hwa makes a special appearance in 'The Wise Doctor Life 2'.

As a result of OSEN coverage on the 25th, it was revealed that Lee Il-hwa will make a special appearance in tvN's Thursday special 'Wise Doctor Life 2' (played by Lee Woo-jung, directed by Shin Won-ho, hereinafter 'Sorrowful Life 2').

 

Lee Il-hwa has built a deep relationship with the production team of 'Reply' since the series. From 'Reply 1997' to 'Reply 1994' and 'Reply 1988', she appeared as the mother of the female lead in every season and performed enthusiastically.

Lee Il Hwa will be appearing in the hit tvN drama “Hospital Playlist 2”!

On August 25, OSEN reported that the actress will be making a special appearance in the drama. In response to the reports, her agency Big Boss Entertainment confirmed that it was true. They added, “Please watch the broadcast for details.”

Lee Il Hwa is making a special appearance due to her experience working with the “Hospital Playlist” writer Lee Woo Jung and director Shin Won Ho in the dramas “Reply 1997” and “Reply 1994.” In both projects, Lee Il Hwa starred as the mother of the protagonist. Her co-star Sung Dong Il, who played her husband both times, already made a special appearance in the drama by appearing as Ahn Jung Won’s (Yoo Yeon Seok‘s) big brother and priest Peter.

Previously, it was speculated that Lee Il Hwa may play Jang Gyeo Ul’s (Shin Hyun Been‘s) mother, whose voice was briefly heard in episode five when they’re talking on the phone. However, nothing has been confirmed.

This congrats is for me by myself. lol. Because many of my predictions/ theories became true and that also mostly, in one episode, ep 9. lol.

Considering the fact how this writer is considered as unpredicted, and i have also experienced it many times in S1 and S2 so far where some predictions of mine became partially true and some fully wrong, i felt the need to congrats me on this big achievement.lol. The biggest one about which i was 100% sure that it was correct turned out to be wrong i.e Ikjun knew all along about bidulgi couple S 1 and S 2. And 98% of the viewers were as sure as i was. Because those scenes were screaming that Ikjun knew about bidulgi and was just trolling his friend.

 

Anyways if anyone of you made a prediction and it became true then consider this congratulations for you as well from my side.hehehe

 

So what were my predictions that came true....

SH's wife would try to be back with him.

 

Sh would refuse him and eventually will be interested in minha.

 

Ikjun will be a bridge between his sister and his friend after they broke up.

 

Ikjun purposefully , deliberately matched the timing of bidulgi's buses.

 

Ikjun saw something related to kjw on iksun cell phone, though i could not guess what it was exactly but bravo to many other viewers who correctly guessed that it was kJW insta pic.

 

Ikjun will do his magic after viewing something related to kjw on iksun cell phone considering that iksun is just as stuck up on kjw as he is on iksun and ikjun being in the middle of both of them observing them both suffering cant just stay put.

 

And obviously SW had a crush on ikjun back then.

 

Iksun lied about falling for someone else.

 

She lied because of her disease.

 

Ikjun next target after wintergarden is gomgom couple.

Though Sw also played a big part in the background with his detailed talk with SH and he accepted her advice by opening up to the people he cares aka minha.

“Hospital Playlist 2” has unveiled new stills ahead of the next episode!

The “Hospital Playlist” series is about five doctors who are best friends and tells the everyday stories of a hospital. In the drama, Shin Hyun Been stars as surgical resident Jang Gyeo Ul and Ahn Eun Jin plays OB/GYN resident Chu Min Ha.

One newly released still shows Chu Min Ha’s surprised expression. For some reason, she is struck speechless. Previously on “Hospital Playlist 2,” Chu Min Ha got a little closer to Yang Seok Hyung (Kim Dae Myung), and viewers are excited to find out what will happen to their relationship in the future.

 

 

Another still depicts Jang Gyeo Ul looking back with wide eyes. It appears as if she will also come across a shocking moment. Previously on the drama, Jang Gyeo Ul has been busy working and taking care of her sick mother. Jang Gyeo Ul hasn’t told her boyfriend Ahn Jung Won (Yoo Yeon Seok) what she’s been going through yet, so it will be intriguing to find out if her situation will finally be revealed in the upcoming episode.

- So finally JunWan knows that IkJun knows about Bidulgi. 
- for the meal in the last season JunWan turned up instead of JeongWon and Gyeol looked grumpy and this time the misunderstanding with Minhas parents. Lol... Jun wan has more screen time with misunderstandings in his friends love stories than his own love story.

- the accident I had read a fan predicting it and saying that It will be IkJun and would shake up SongHwa to confess also he won’t be able to donate his liver to IkSun later if the transplant happens and his parents would have to. But I really don’t believe the previews and I’m still not convinced if it’s Ikjun or someone else. 
- No wonder JeongWon had to change the lyrics from fall to Winter else he would be singing his potential wedding song for his brother in law. 
- Seok Hyung applying to the US doesn’t make sense since he said he wants to make the most of every minute of his life. Now that he likes Min Ha why would he do that. Moreover, isn’t he running away again the same mistake he made in his past relationship? Again can’t trust the previews. 
- Arghhhh the two week wait will be long

- Also I don’t think we have near enough time for a series ending and we are headed for a season 3 unless we have a time jump in the last episode. I don’t like  the last episode time jump troupe! But my gut feeling is there will be a season 3.

- the PD cameo was funny and so was jealous Jeong Won.
- The choice of song was also fun and totally unexpected. 
- SongHwa ordering burger reminded me of the other burger fan Ujju and his ordering style. So there are 4 foodies - JunWan, Gyeoul, Song Hwa and Ujju. 
- the gift for IkJun could possibly be related to cycling or coffee. 
- wait so Min Has mom is the same actress from CLOY who had the scary make up on when she went to meet Hyun Bins parents with her daughter? Oh my god this after all the focus on Min Has make up... lol...The actress was in parasite too right?

- the group name being the band name. I always wondered how could the band be called Mido and Parasol in the series since Mido is the actresses real name and not character name. But the chat name being the group name and we being told that after 22 episodes just brilliant writing!

- Also Gyeols dad wasn’t gonna attend the brothers wedding that got called of.  So he won’t attend her wedding too? Then is it possible that Jeong Wons elder brother or IkJun Would be the bride give awayer?

First of all BON JOVI's rendition for It's My life haiyaa....Love love it.

Writer Nim has to torture someone related to Kid, infant or Unborn, today's target JaeHAK...Like S1 they take his live savings now this??? WHY.....!!!!!Give the Guy some happiness.

 

JUNSUN - I swear no CP like No one frustrates me as these 2...First they get 5 minutes to communicate in like 15+ episodes and when they do its always a cliffhanger. Like either end it or move forward its getting annoying now LEGIT. Does not help that I could see that the restaurant scene is not filmed together due to schedule conflict, I don't know how are they gonna stretch these two till S3 TBH.

 

Wintergarden - Most of us were spot on domestic abuse inkling...hearing the entire thing did not make it easier, but glad Gyeol has Dr Ahn the most supportive BF ever.

 

Fun scene where the Senior Docs tease the intern and Gyeol in front of Dr Ahn....and He goes like jigeum balo , jigeum, jigeum "RIGHT NOW"...Lmao Daddy Long Longs lost his COOL there hahaha.

 

Dr Yang and Min Ha - I had a Eureka moment before they showed the guesthouse owners daughter that DR Yang and Junwan visited her parents guesthouse. Lol. The Lady playing her Mum , why does she always confuses the BF or something on those lines Lol.As expected she switched the definition on MH bear to Polar bear lmao. But Dr Yang was still so considerate of her mOM , its so sweet.

 

For the first time ever we see Dr Yang and Junwan together, haiyaaa....they are surely not Ben and Jerry but Tom and Jerry lmao. Still they know their core qualities even if Kimchi v/s Pickled radish is the key .....do not make them survive in a reality show else someone may die....lol.

The fake or real date between Dr Yang and Min Ha, First of all its hard to guess his mind, then the lingering bomb that he applied for studies in US???? Like BRO Dude ...huh...Yeah I have like 2% Hope of Min Ha getting her wish.

 

The Injured 40 year old Dr at the hospital!!! Although previews hinted at Ik Jun or Junwan , I dont think its Ik Jun considering their track record. But if it is I hope its not too too too serious. Also I think its not Junwan because except Dr Song no one was there, if it is him atleast 2/4 should have been there or family member or someone else from the hospital considering he is like the VILLAGE CHIEF!!!
