So SYA happened to thank her filo fans for their gifts and well wishes and posted it on her insta..

But a fan of another actress left a comment that sounded too arrogant. SYA is herself a veteran actress and it was really disrespectful..

Thats all...It is not a big deal..So just leave this topic here and let us focus more on the positive aspects.

I’m amused at the way HB has evolved in his feelings towards YSR. 
 

First he said at one point that YSR was a materialistic lump (sorry, I forget which vid)

 

He also said when talking about YSR and SYJ difference that SYJ is not as exasperating (someone correct me, I forget exactly the words he used) as YSR because she’s not as blunt (?). 

 

And then he said they’re almost 100% the same.

 

And now YSR is the most perfect/wonderful/beautiful/excellent in the world, indirectly complementing SYJ.

 

As a psychologist I’m wondering at what point did he start seeing the exasperating and materialistic parts of the character as inconsequential and in his head he started equating YSR with his most wonderful perfect woman SYJ.

Song Yoona could have been liked other photos like a solo photo of Yejin. But no, she liked BinJin photos that was not even part in their CLOY scenes. So for me Song Yoona definitely supports BinJin relationship. She likes Binnie for her friend Yejin.

@BinJin2020 LOL. Such a great question, I think the "materialistic lump" and "too blunt" comments were from the same interview where HB seemed to be feeling extra cheeky. It's one of my fave interviews actually! This was early days of filming so maybe he hadn't seen YSR's growth yet. When RJH first meets her she comes off a bit spoiled and materialistic. But the latter comments came after the drama ended so maybe upon reflection, he now views YSR as being perfect/wonderful/beautiful and warm-hearted.

3. HB gave a very honest interview about Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye Jin)

4. She (Song Yoona) liked the BinJin shipper post because SYJ is quiet ...

5. She is pushing SYJ to manifest like HB

6. She is very happy for her friend and wants to ship her...

7. She is a shipper for BinJin like us!

The look on SYJ's face when Hyun Bin called YSR a materialistic lump was so funny. She totally didn't expect that from him. He was so playful and flirty in that interview.

 

That was in the tvN promo video that came out around November last year where they interviewed each other. Then when asked how much of SYJ was YSR, he answered 70% and said that SYJ speaks her mind but she's not a blabbermouth like Se-Ri. There's another version where what he said was translated into "obtrusive" instead of blabbermouth.

 

By the time of CLOY's official presscon in December, he said SYJ is almost 100% Yoon Se-Ri and he went on and on about her charms and her hidden side that will come out when plays Se-Ri.

Not related to the recent crumbs but i would like to emphasize that our most beautiful queen YJ First with HB..

 

Her first role as Police woman -TN

Her first role as  of YSR a chaebol heiress-CLoY- according  to her.

Accepting award twice in stage with same Person. 

Her first rumor dating scandal after 20yrs in her career.

She dominated their post together in her IG..

And my most favorite is being accustom to his onscreen partner the longest time,cf,interviews,golfing,travel buddy, etc..)

And it is none other than our dearest KTP.. 

 

And for HB i will not elaborate it further but it is only when he is with EOJ he is the most happiest man ever.

@QueenieBee I agree with ur thoughts about this post...

 

However I have a slightly different opinion..

So considering the fact that this interview was taken months after CLOY finished(because it took some time for k-ent to grasp the craziness happening due to CLOY in Japan),

it is possible that HB and SYJ have shed off their characters by then and became their real self... YJ herself said that it takes them some time to come out of their characters once a project ends..

Thus as time went by ,the memory of YSR faded away ,and some of the unpleasant things about her like being materialistic ,blabbermouth ,etc..(although she did undergo a huge change as story progressed),..it was replaced by the actual SYJ's qualities..

Thus I believe whenever YSR will be mentioned now, HB will associate with the actual person and not the fictional YSR..

Omg..I don't even know if I m making any sense..but whatever ..both YSR and SYJ are one in a million.

Song Yoona surely knows the real score between Binnie and Yejin so she didn't mind liking photos of them together. She definitely love them both. This is 7 months after CLOY ended so nothing to do with the drama anymore. It is all about BINJIN now. These photos were actually in recent months not a decade ago. Not even an edited one. #ICBM

When i first watched CLOY, i did find Yoon Se Ri very materialistic and kinda annoying at first but then you quickly see that she uses that attitude to hide a very traumatic childhood and pain that her family inflicted on her. The fact that she thought of killing herself to stop hurting is proof that those materialistic things were never enough for her and she wasn't happy and she was rude to people to protect herself from being more hurt. RJH saw though all the bull and loved her anyway which is why she fell in love with this man and never let go. Once you understand the character then you realize she is indeed a very rare female character for K-dramas. She was allowed to not only be very smart and passionate about her work but she was never passive about one thing happening to her, she reacted to everything. Usually they dont write like that for women, only men get such complex writing but overall YSR felt to me like a real person.

I was curious when it was done too. Most magazines prep a month in advance. So maybe it was August  (ex. Metro style was for June and he did it sometime in May - those new shoots they used) -  We know they had a few days off because of the 24 hour lockdown.

 

I think VAST got credit on the magazine as they used photos taken from VAST as I know this one is a newer photo from a shoot he did before

I don’t want to be a debby downer but I had felt after watching CLOY and getting to know the main leads more and their relationship, that this was an SYJ swan song. Like they know what is coming down the road and wanted to show her other strong acting skills esp comedy, that perhaps she could branch off and work in while having a family. Since I don’t know them personally, take this w a big grain of salt!!

In addition to what everyone else has pointed out about the significance of this, I believe that (1) Song Yoona got SYJ’s approval to post this “like” and (2) another reason for this was to help end the ugly fan war.  Another subtle message from SYJ confirming the relationship and trying to end any “other” rumors.

Since we got a new interview of Binnie in Japan magazine..

I had wondered if she has a copy to this magazine (or if they both do lol). She went to Netherlands for this photoshoot in August and she did a special interview. She had interviewed Theo Jansen:
