I enjoy your posts and I was going to ask you to call me Auntie as many on this forum do, because frankly I thought you were in your thirties! The BinJin effect.. it something that cannot be explained. Before I knew of them, All the shipping I knew is Fedex, USPS or a real boat that takes you places. Now my day ends and start with BinJin and I don't even speak their language, Yesterday I was watching a clip and I didn't realize it did not have subtitles. All I saw was the stare HB had for SYJ and the wonderful dynamics they had. It is making me cry just thinking about it. Much as I hate CoVid, one good thing it has brought to my life is this wonderful couple I cannot help but love and adore. It has also brought me to this forum, my amazing community of the BinJin nation. I have to say life is GOOD!!!! Boomers represent, indeed. I believe there are a few of us, “Aunties” here. Or I could be an Oma (grandma in Dutch) as what my granddaughter calls me. BinJin nation is my happy place especially with the Covid pandemic. There is nowhere to go, we can’t travel so I am stuck in my home pretty much with my husband 24/7. If not for BJ we probably will already have killed each other. LOL I am not picky with what I watch as long as it is BJ related. Even without sub-titles, I will watch it. Google translate and Papago have become my friend. I love hanging out here. 16 5 5
Cherie Cee
Is it just me, or are Bin and Jin really starting to look alike? They say that people who are together or more specifically, those who are married, tend to start looking like each other. I did not believe this at first, but over the years I have gotten this remark from a lot of people. It seems my hubby and I now BLEND. Look at this side by side BinJin photo and tell me what you think. SYJ seems to have some dimple action going on there, their brows are similar too. Like I said, I was never a believer of this...but now I see their looks coming together. Well curiosity got me so thanks to google apparently research work has been done on this occurrence. Indeed over time partners tend to look more alike. Scientists site the theory that shared emotions result in a closer resemblance due to similar wrinkles and expressions. We also all noticed that Bin now has his own eye smile, right? So there you go! 11 7

I sneak peeks on IG, and YT for updates and videos, and when he's not watching me, I'll re-watch my favorite episodes from CLOY. Btw, BinJin made it as an entry to the UrbanDictionary. Fandom GOALS! Oh you didn't realize about that Hahaa yea it is actually a common thing that happens I also kept being more focused on his laughing bit in the behind the scenes of his CF lol. I didn't quite understand why he was laughing like that while filming Amado shoot I dont know why I watched that part so much (thank goodness someone just made a clip of that bit on instagram lol). Just made me think of when he laughs like that with her or when she did that Jennyhouse rebak review she was laughing so much lol. Plus what ended up being more distracting for me when I watched her video again from the same day in 2018 is that her new video is quite similar to the one back then lol.. She just makes those moves more subtle in her new video lol..
Krystal.
Omg is anyone gen Z? I feel so left out lol I feel like most BinJin shippers here are older and the younger shippers are found on Twitter and Instagram. I have to admit though the BinJin fandom is probably the most diverse fandom I have ever been in we have shoppers from all age group and probably in every single country. I hope that one day when our couple announce their marriage we could all come together to celebrate that would be so fun 11 11
Cherie Cee
@ElectricHearts, like I said I do not buy into the idea of couples starting to look alike at frist, but over the years after getting that comment from so many people, I started to believe. And now I see it happening to our OTP. The laugh, yes! They are now mirroring each other.

I am really loving this new Candy theme, ( Binjin candies+ candy theme= Diabetes) but it makes me feel good. It’s like sugar and spice and everything nice. @Cherie Cee I agree! Since I was shy/good listener in my 20s and younger So I did most of the time was watch how people were to each other, their gestures etc lol. I still do the same thing now but I am a bit more talkative. Hence why I still call myself an introvert but I am more extroverted with people I am close with I am the same too in terms of how theatre helped me break out of my introvert shell lol. Although I am not an actor, I barely took an acting classes when I was doing my theatre major. Just 3 related required acting courses that were simple lol. @Cherie Cee their mirroring since TN promo days still throw me off lol There is no way to get that from just 1.5 months of filming together lol. It like started on August 9 lol. I just never seen 2 people mirror each other so much that it becomes so obvious. By CLOY promo period, it is understandable, they already know each other for much longer. Post CLOY becomes more obvious because people should stop being more alike when they are apart. However, it is clear especially now what is going on 14

Popular Post Baylack
Hail, hail Boomers! Present , it includes me too! I've communicated with some shippers via direct messaging on occasions. The other day I was encouraged by one to share within the forum some of the thoughts I've privately expressed and shared with her and others. She felt the forum would appreciate the thoughts and insights. So, if you don't like them, you can blame her ! This is the first post I've initiated. I've been mooching off other posts and responding and reacting. It might help you better understand my perspectives knowing that I'm from the Midwest U.S. As many of you have stated, never in my wildest dream would I think I'd be shipping someone. I'm sure in most cases, many of us would be the ones telling others how futile and obnoxious it would be to do so. We would be discouraging them to do so stating there are more important things to do with our time and life in general. Now fast forward some months later and many of us are almost literally using toothpicks to keep our eyes open so we can keep abreast of BinJin and CLOY news. Let me see there's a word for that...what is it now , oh right, hypocrite ! For my first initiated post, I have chosen excerpts of some previous statements I have made in private. The names have been excluded to protect the innocent (lol). See if you can relate: Ahh, the beauty and wonder of technology ! What would we do without it? It's serving as cost-free transportation to all of us to worlds and people we've never known or dreamed of. Your thinking and insights are a lot like mine. When a request was made in the forum to solicit Ellen DeGeneres to interview BinJin, I submitted a request (another thing I'd never done). One phrase I used to describe them is that they are the modern day version of the United Nations. Within the forum, I am seeing them break down barriers that politics hasn't even been able to make a dent in. It was mentioned in the forum that all continents got involved in the BinJin TicToc voting craze except Antarctica We seem to be learning and appreciating more and more that we're all the same, in spite of our racial, nationality, political, gender, religious preferences, financial status, age, etc. (you name it) differences. When it is all said and done, we all desire something that is truly lacking in this world...love. I think we have found a microcosm in BinJin. The reality that we desire for the world and them. They give us a reprieve and with all that is going on, I so much need/needed it. I thank them for that but, even moreso, I hope they can find happiness and love with each other, even though they live in such a structured setting. I really feel there is something truly unique between them. Otherwise, as precious as time is and considering their ages and lifestyles, I could not see them investing such crucial time in each others lives. While they are not required to do so, they have the ability to diffuse or dispel any issues. I don't think it has anything to do with their trying to expand their popularity and opportunities, they basically can rest on their laurels and accomplish that. While I am not in entertainment, I can truly relate to how it is to be under the microscope. It can be stifling. I am Black, which in and of itself keeps you under constant review in behalf of oneself and Blacks in general. You are constantly barraged with the need to prove yourself and comport yourself in a particular way. Nothing ever seems to be good enough and the line is always moving or being moved. Contending with preconceived ideas and sterotypes. In that way, I can relate to BinJin and the structured life and pressures they deal with. But, I'm here to say, with effort, it can be navigated and result in their joy. Hopefully, they appreciate or will appreciate, that there comes a time in life when personal satisfaction has to take sway over ingrained mores. …I haven't been that adventurous to go so far abroad. I've been to various states and to Canada but have never put on the world traveler's hat. A lot of it had to do with raising a family and job responsibilities. However, I don't let that impede my quest for knowledge and exposure to other cultures. As a matter of fact, that's what landed me in this shipping forum. I have never done anything in my life like this but it is just something about BinJin that so entralls me. While I'm always willing to share knowledge and insights, I've never been one to try to tell people how to run their lives. I let them decide and just try to provide well-rounded knowledge. But, it is just something about these two that I hope they truly realize and appreciate. It is just so obvious that they are each others yin and yang. From the outside looking in, they appear as an anomaly within the entertainment business. I just hope they don't let fear, uncertainty, and complacency deprive them of what appears to be in their best interests. I'm trying to understand the Korean culture more but it seems to be an oxymoron. It appears they want people (entertainers in particular) to be human but then they dehumanize them. I also notice when I try to access Korean media, I get so many salacious pop-ups I have to navigate before I can even view the show I want to watch but then the same culture doesn't seem to want an entertainer to have a normal life. I'll get off my soapbox now :-)! ... Hello Ellen! I would love to join forces with some that have recommended that you interview Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin of K-drama fame, especially recently as a result of the Crash Landing On You ( CLOY) series. On their own merit, they have a very notable and prolific entertainment work history. However, what I have found is that the CLOY drama, in my mind and heart, has become the modern day version of the United Nations. It has opened a portal of conversation and curiosity between persons throughout the world, in spite of the language and cultural barriers, ages (even an old goat like me :-)), genders, religious and political persuasions, technology literate and illiterate, etc. In these troubling times, they have served as an elixir for what ails the world in general, namely a lack of love. While I do not know them personally, I marvel that although they both have been in the entertainment business for about 20 years (practically more than half their lives), they still maintain grounded, humble, humane, and philanthropic natures (including something near and dear to your heart, animal protections and rights). Even though they have extremely busy lives, they have even been on the forefront of battling Covid-19. I've watched your show and I know you are all about spreading love. I believe your interviewing them at this time can serve a very noble cause of continuing to spread love. Through their astounding acting, the CLOY series continues to emphasize that love conquers all and is worth fighting for and that no matter who we are, where we live, our cultural backgrounds, countries of residence, we are all the same and just want to be respected and loved! I appreciate the opportunity to reach out to you. Thanks and may you continue to spread love and understanding. ...Yes, I have surprised myself too by joining. I debated for months and finally had to humble myself when I couldn't navigate some of the information. It is so out of character for me. It is my first time doing anything like this in my 65 yrs. (almost 66 yrs.) but it is just something about these 2 that moves me so much! My entire work/life experiences (Financial Aid Counselor and Real Estate Broker in particular and my innate ability to read people) tells me they are the real deal. There seems to be such a sincerity and realness about them. They have basically become a lifeline for me. I know it is their choices that matter but my years of life tell me they are so right for each other and deserve some true happiness out of their rat-race business. CLOY just seems to be so indicative of their real lives and I often wonder if they truly see and appreciate the parallels. There seems to be such an innocence about them in spite of the cut-throat business they've been in. I hope they can withstand the storm and fight for their relationship if that's what they desire... Until next time, lets keep our eyes on the compass that BinJin has so lovingly entrusted us with. I've never been on an actual cruise but I sure am enjoying this one ! 40 minutes ago, HappyForLove said: PLEASE VOTE SON YE JIN AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ON KINGS CHOICE VOTE ENDS 31 Jul SHE WAS JUST DETHRONED LAST NIGHT TO NUMBER 2 !! Nenski
@ElectricHearts @Baylack yes the site is wonky. Sometimes it works every 1 hour. Other times, I try again after 30 minutes and it also works. Then I’ll try after 2-3 hours and it won’t work. Then all of a sudden, the other actress overtook YJ in less than an hour by a huge jump and this was during the North America daytime time zone. I was like woah, some people in this part of the world seem to be voting like crazy. I just keep trying!
