I watched that whole Guru Show with Yejin and it is such a great insight into her personality and thots. I am just glad she is not lonely anymore with her Cinderella sis and of course, her Close Friend.

 

I've watched this countless times, but the new edit with added copy, just gives me all the Heart Flutter! Look at home intimately HB pulled YJ close to him. You just don't do that with a mere co-star...They are Close, very very Close indeed.

3,)Change in behaviour ...Both are happy together because they share a lot of expreriences; each admire the works of each other and they both confirm that their teamwork is getting better and better . Even their CFs are together no  matter what rumour is getting around. (Cognition)

 

4.) They protect each other . They complete the message of each ....in interviews...in their speeches like in BA Ceremony.... the bodyguard... 

 

5.) Denials.... They never denied their relationship. Once denied , no science can reverse unless it is a lie! SYJ denied the rumour with KNG in July 14, 2014! For JHI, he did it himself in 2018 as SYJ said she wants JHI to answer. JHI said" what we filmed is a fiction and not a documentary". For HB, no denial but "it just happened... so we shrugged/laughed  it off...SYJ,,, HB answered well. (Fact)

 

I can go on but the above can re-inforce our ship . 1 and 5 are very strong confirmations but not as ROMANTIC as what we are establishing daily here in the Shippers Paradise so keep cool and Enjoy!!!

I admire them for all the work that they are doing, their Tenacity and most of all their Faith that this ship will dock. Wow! i always read them saying "pray desperately" for the LOVE. I am local so i understand the language.FAITH draws in ....Miracles!

For those who are not really aware of what's going on... things are still pretty tense between Korea and Japan right now, unfortunately. The anti-Japan movement/boycott in SK that started last year is still going strong even now. Even my Korean parents and Korean in-laws, who have been living in the US for many years, have been trying not to buy/use Japanese products as much (I don't really agree with them, but this issue is a very complicated and sensitive one for them). Even recently, the drama The King, got backlash for using Japanese style architecture in their intro, and a new tvN reality show called Vacation got backlash for celebrities staying at a home that had Japanese inspired architecture. Basically this is how sensitive Koreans are right now about this issue. 

 

I'm sure both HB and SYJ are very appreciative of and love their Japanese fans, but I don't think that they would provide an exclusive/new interview to them when they haven't even done one in Korea. It's sad and unfortunate, but they would probably receive a lot of backlash if they did. This really does speak to how awesome CLOY is and how amazing it is that it's the most popular drama in Japan since Winter Sonata, especially with what's going on between the two countries.

Of course like you all said, that's why the MetroStyle interview is very special because it's the only recent interview from him (and in person!). And we all know that he mainly talks about CLOY and his "Yejin-sshi," and gives us his unforgettable giggle/eye squeeze when recalling a memory about her. That's the complete opposite of avoiding YJ if you ask me.

Since the translation is from DUCKHU girl, so it's legit. 

 

In his speech, we can assumed 2 meaning:

1) Binnie said on behalf of Jinnie & him, that both of them as individual will work on various new work. 

 

2) Binnie has been hinting us, that both of them will work together again in future. (various new works like CF, movies, etc.) 

 

My delulu mind want to believe the number 2 . 

Since SMART CF already come true, maybe there will be more collaboration btw them in future?? Who knows right.

Saw this on you tube and somehow I too wonder why they didn't do a project together in their 20s.  I could see it to be unforgettable as well and then reunite in CLOY.  I swear they  already look good together even back then. Would have been a blast for us BinJin to have something to reminisce besides CLOY.  Knowing YeJin, I don't think they'll date or end up together in those days because they will in CLOY (LoL).

@celest1al thanks for the additional info about SK and Japan. I didn't know about that. I agree too. I could tell immediately it was recycled material based on the photoshoots used in both hb and syj's ones.

@celest1al  I had to quote all that you posted here cuz it really gave me so much insight!! Thank you for adding that extra perspective of the current Korea-Japan standoff, and why HB couldn't have done an exclusive interview with a Japanese media. Also a good point that he has not done one for SK media since CLOY ended, hence it will be an even bigger backlash if he does one with a Japan media. Whoever posted that Weekly Asahi translation and claiming it to be a new interview was totally misinformed and in doing that also misled others. I am glad it has been sorted very clearly now, with also the added rationale and political situation as a factor added in.

 

So in actuality, the MetroStyle interview is HB's 1st interview post CLOY, and whaddaya know, he talks about CLOY, his pleasant surprise at its worldwide success, explained at length what he thinks about his co-star in the drama ie Ms SYJ herself, and of course infamously brought up her name and said Yejin-sshi on repeats with crinkly smiles throughout that interview. THAT is the real status of what he is feeling/ thinking about the most right now. Much more up-to-date vs the old interview from 10-15 years ago (which was for MNIKSS and SG).

Many thanks for posting this here! Seriously, this guy has been mature since he was young. I think it is partly due to his parents upbringing, and partly his natural personality. I love how at that young age in 2005 (he was only 23 years old!!), he already has such a liberated view of women and their status, and at the same time has that old-school or romantic view of "keeping the love to death, loving her without being cold, love her passionately as long as I live" and also so responsible cuz he believe the best husband needs to show "trust and responsibility".

 

Doesn't this immediately remind you of the CLOY Soju scene? Did the CLOY writer saw this interview when she wrote that scene? Or maybe she had a talk with HB about the ideal husband and married life.

 

Yejin-sshi, many times I say how lucky HB to have found you cuz you made him so happy, brought out the fun-loving and humorous part of him into the open, challenged him professionally and makes him laugh all the time. But I have to say also, you are very lucky to have met this romantic old-fashion and trustworthy guy who will love you passionately to death and let you be who you to pursue your passion. Pray for you to finally have a happy ending together and love each other as long as you both shall live.

Also it is clearly recycled material. the first thing that gave it away were the photoshoots used. That was why I had gone back to the past to find it. It was used 2011-2013 time in two Japan magazines. Who knows there could have been more. It is clear that Japan really loves that photoshoot lol. He was in military March 2011. So I guess that is why the other Japan magazine waited till later till publish it. post Sega success
