I just watched and could not see the difference. Because my eyes were fixated on the first clip  I tried to divert my eyes to the second clip several times but could not hold there for more than 5 seconds. I got a glimpse of the third clip for about 10 seconds in total. That’s how much I’m attracted to BinJin.

Yeah if you're going to check the timeline of eonnie's tv projects you'll see that she usually take a rest for a year, sometimes more than a year before accepting another tv series; Personal Taste (2010),Shark (2013),  Something In The Rain (2018), CLOY (2019-2020).

I was surprised when she agreed to do CLOY cause she already rejected One Spring Night, a reunion series with Hae-in that was also offered to her. I thought it was because she was preparing for a new movie. But now I strongly believe that the reason was because oppa Hyun Bin talked to her about a project that they can do together. (Again, this is not about who got the offer first ok. This is about a man who did the first move to be in one project again with the woman he loves.) In our country we find it romantic when guys do the first move. If it's the other way around you will not hear anything from me about this, cause it is less romantic for me when the effort comes from the girl. Hehe

You know what...I found a newly upload clip on social media specifically talking about the certain visit on CLoY's shooting site during the production.  That video clip was clearly made based on intentionally misleading information and further speculate ridiculous/untrue rumors around BinJin.

 

Again, as many had suspected, whatever that were discussed here, there will be lurkers (especially those who desire to stir up rumors/troubles or increase click baits) taking a bit of this and a bit of that and spread it all over the place.  History is repeating itself. Some fans who follow BinJin will know the information presented in that clip is clearly WRONG, but most casual fans/audience, when seeing such news, will probably just share it, retweet it, comment on it...all without checking the facts..then, I wouldn't be surprised if I see this makes into media again, just like that DAMN hand-holding photo.

 

Shippers, shippers, shippers, especially the new ones, we already have 260+ pages of back-and forth discussions/dissection on almost all the evidence available surrounds BinJin!  I would suggest new shippers do your homework before shipping by back reading this thread.  I believe you will find a gold mine of insights on BinJin's love journey and most of the answers to your doubts/questions. I hope you know that if you keep speculating about BinJin's lives to a point it starts rumors and gets the attention of the media, you will see media makes it big and then BinJin deny yet again or worse off, they decide to simply disappear from the radar and we'll never hear anything from them -- and I think we'll all be really really upset that they won't even attend Baeksang Arts Award this year (So far this is our best bet to see BinJin again in the nearest future).

 

I believe some cautious shippers try hard not to tell people what to post or what not post on this thread, but sometimes things could potentially go out of hand quickly and the past incident (and the current one) has already shown us how messy is could be with rumors/speculation).   

 

Please let's all wise up when we ship BinJin.   Please.

She is Kdrama Addict btw. So her point is very much valid.

Binnie's trip to Daegu + Binnie's visit to Ye-Jin's parents:  Is this a hearsay or a confirmed news?   How credible is the news?  Before golfing....so it was probably after the Negotiation promotion?    If it is credible, how come there seemed to be no similar discussion in other news  outlets?   Would love to know more!!!  Thank you!  

 

 

I am not sure of time frame of HB in Daegu rumor ... he may have visited them for all we know. But if it was during press period for Negotiation I do recall one of their stops / stage greetings was in Daegu.

 

@jinjin Well, by the time Daegu event happened, the premiere already happened. In the girlfriends photo, HB is sitting in the back hanging out with JHI ... Besides Park Shin Hye I have wondered who attended the Negotiation premiere in support of HB because he later hangs out with her friends and the SITR cast.

Son Ye Jin has received  most acting awards than any other peers of her generation.

Who got the offer first or later is not based on their performance or how much they are paid. That’s not how it works in South Korea as much as I know. The writer normally already has in mind which actors/actresses they want for their work. So they will tell the prod team and the prof team will check the identified actors/actress availability and give the script to their agencies. So who ever offered first or accept first should not be an issue here. Could be they are offered at the same time and HB accept it first. 
 

i also agree with others if you don’t like we talk about HB as a good actor, and just want to focus on SYJ, this is not the thread. This is a shipper thread for us to show our love for both of them. And we don’t intend to compare which of them is a better actor and won more box office than the other.

Is it me or YJ actually want to do something like this one? Hahahah.

 

But seriously, if there’s a remake of this one, I am all for these two taking up the roles. I think they restrained certain portion of skinship in CLOY because of the whole issue of romanticizing of NK so they had to bring it down a notch (these two surely discussed on how to make the scenes work, among others  - besides some scenes have already been shot/filmed before the issue cropped out so hey, I’ll take what I can hehe). Mr and Mrs Smith is one of my favourite films ever - and to watch them both in an action/rom movie? That will be a treat

 

I doubt it will happen soon because of the gossips but hey, a fangirl can dream, right?

I know I’ve notice that too, as much as I jealous to death hahaha joke! But yeh they’re both too obvious but yet again they both denied it for an obvious reason, to protect they’re career, or maybe not maybe they’re not really together “yet” maybe it’s not official yet, so who knows it’s our words against them. They’re said they’re not together, ok then they’re not!

@Sianna NGL I agree with you - if I can recommend anything to anyone, esp. new shippers (I’m considered new to this board - I had to create a new username and email just for shipping omg - but you’ll get the drift haha), it’s to back-read the posts here. Even I still haven’t finished back-reading lol. But it surely gave me another perspective, and you’ll definitely see the usual shipping pattern (ups, downs) that I’ve seen for more than a decade. It makes me think of a bigger picture of things altogether

P/s: I kinda feel secondhand embarrassment if I ever talked / read about their past flames etc. Nothing too personal- it’s just that we should all move forward. The greed in me wants SYJ to cameo in HB drama a his wife. For the last scene when he came back from the overseas mission and reunite with his love ones. Hahaha.... does the scriptwriter needs extra ideas???? I am willing to share it with. 

 

@B.MMM thank you for the detailed timeline. It sounds so plausible and logical. Hopefully it is true and not just a baseless rumor. Why do i feel that their wedding plans (if it's true they going to marry after drama) will be postpone slightly due to the corona virus issue. Don't you think so? SYJ is from Daegu and it seems that Daegu residents are not allowed to go out from the city. Her family must still lock down in the city. Guess they must wait till this corona virus subsides.

Like many others that are late in climbing aboard the ship/pushing the cart, this is my first time posting after days of CLOY sepanx.

 

Genuinely never have I ever shipped a couple as hard as I do these two. Like many others, it became natural how beyond the RiRi couple, I thought “wow their chem is sooo strong, they could be a couple.” I wasn’t even an avid fan of either of them before the drama. But after initially watching the show and Swoon vids, I was 70% sure they could be a real life couple (30% bff). But then BAM this thread and all the evidence AHH

 

So after reading the entire forum (yes, this took days- love you guys and all the timelines of their love) and rewatching all their videos together with my mom (we’re in this together), we are both over 100% convinced, went beyond why they’re actually together, and were just trying to figure out when they started.

 

So here I am: I just wanted to provide my little two cents and possible additions to the MANY points on why the amazing BINJIN genuinely does exist: (if it’s long, I’m so sorry I’m just so excited) 

1. CLOY bits
   1. Thumb rubs, back hugs, easy skinship- All these subtle gestures that I swear only VERY intimate couples can make (can best friends really do this?). I even went that far and searched other back hugs of not just HB doing back hugs, but other actors and actresses and SELDOM (if not ever) are back hugs so openly done across the actress’ chest (usually above or below on the stomach as an act of courtesy). 
2. Behind the Scenes
   1. The hand holding pic, SYJ's easy glomping of HB in the parachute shoot, the infamous scene of them laughing and holding each other after HB looked at the handsome soldier instead of her (HAHA), the cute BTS hospital scenes- need I mention more? It’s just funny how V*ST denied the hand holding and only mentioned that SYJ was holding her own hand, but then NOT explicitly deny their relationship. 
3. Groceries (and LA)
   1. #Ingrocerywetrust- the pics speaks for themselves- first time SYJ’s agency denied a rumor (could be wrong), but it’s so elaborate and emphasized she was there to meet a friend that I just laughed it off.
   2. Her instagram pic (190127)- the watch! Someone wrote how the watch she’s wearing is way too big for her and how it matches HB’s watch (grocery pic). The way she was posing and holding her phone could mean she was emphasizing her wrist hehe (I've passed the point of delu, don’t mind me). And note fans caught him back at Incheon on 190124 so this could her way of telling him she misses him?  (The caption of double hearts as well)
4. V*ST coming after me 
   1. The Busan pic- I’ve actually seen it so openly on other social media sites (not insta)- It’s such an innocent pic of them smiling and posing with an ajumma, I seriously can’t fathom why V*ST would want to have them take it down if they’re really BFFs. They weren’t holding hands, doing anything intimate so hey, if their real chingu’s, it should’ve been fine to leave up?
5. SO when did it all start?
   1. Like many others, I used to think that they started dating AFTER the TN promo period with all their cute instas together. But my mom made a point that with all the press cons and insta hearts, she thinks they’ve already starting dating BEFORE that. The way SYJ actually got shy with some questions and all of HB’s gentlemanly and NATURAL tendencies to touch/guide her makes it a little suspicious. And I don’t know about a lot of you, but why put a heart with your male bff? They can argue they are hyping up the film, but hey you’re supposed to be enemies, not lovers HAHA. And combined with evidence people have mentioned about him meeting her parents in Daegu, this might make sense since they’ve already established that they are serious about one another.
   2. And by the time of the CLOY BTS/Swoon videos, their relationship has already went WAY PAST the chase and honeymoon stage- they’re genuinely and old married couple that’s comfortable with one another, finishing each other’s sentences, answering for one another and just enjoying each other’s presence. Don’t get me started on HB’s stares. Everyone has made their point . But the little nudge SYJ did to HB to get him to stop staring at her (TVN interview) is still the thing that makes me smile the most. So subtle, but so telling.

Final notes:

• I’m also so suspicious that the very hardworking SYJ AND HB’s only big project of 2019 is CLOY (in the second half of the year). Besides some ad work, fan meetings and other things, it’s just surprising how not one of them have another movie at least. Did this give them time to re-energize and spend some time together?  SYJ's friend got married and went on her honeymoon in 2019. And like others mentioned, her friend explicitly stated SYJ came along. Third wheeling would be indeed weird so if she said SYJ and other friends, this wouldn’t suspicious. She didn’t so I would be over the moon if she went with her “BFF”!
• My mom is genuinely convinced they were dating before the TN promo period and is even happier at the thought of HB suffering when watching all the intimate scenes of SITR. She thinks because of that, HB actively pursued her since it triggered his male instincts 

I can genuinely write an entire thesis on why they’re actually a couple, but I’ll refrain so CEO-nim won’t come after me HAHA. I really enjoy reading all the comments and love for BINJIN and I’ll definitely be an active commenter with my new theories for them hehe.

I read an article, and the reporter asked if possible to have another team up with hyun bin (before CLOY Happened) and ye jin told that Mr & Mrs Smith was fan suggestions for their next movie, and she like it. 

Its really funny but bit sad that most of knetizens focus to their visual and wants them to see in a drama as a couple, and it’s sad because they’re promoting The Negotiation at that time. 

 

I wish they do more movies together or a variety/reality shows.

And for the future show is The Superman return, hehehehehe I want to see how Hyun Bin taking care his children and his beautiful wife Ye Jin.

You are right, all the questions in presscon was filtered but reporters still find a way to walk around the bush, that's why HB, YJ and director were laughing at the question because everyone knows what's behind it. I watched a video on YT the other day from Taiwanese reporter who was in the CLOY presscon, it's pretty interesting. I will translate below

 

 

[A] Ethan, since you were there seeing them at close distance (CLOY presscon), did you notice anything interesting?

[Ethan]: Actually, all everyone (reporters at presscon) cares about was their chemistry. 

[Others agreeing]: Yea, are rumors true? Instagram pics are so intimate just like couples

[Ethan]: This topic is not only hot within Taiwanese fan, but even Korean reporters are also very curious. That's why all Korean reporters' questions in the presscon were actually submitted 2-4 weeks in advance.

[Ethan]: No it's true, there is censorship. Not only private interview but even presscon, all questions must be checked and approved by their label (management company). Only if they are ok with the question, you can ask it. 

Thats why there is a funny story that during the presscon, a Korean reporter ask: "Because you two have been denied the dating rumors TWICE, does it become a burden in your future cooperation". Everyone reporters in the room knows what he really want to ask, and burst out laughing. |||(the question was around the bush and not directly ask whether dating rumor is true or not, but ask about future cooperation during dating rumors which is very wise. If you watch video of presscon, you will see BinJIn and director also laughing at this question)|||

[Ethan]: Yea, HB & SYJ gave a very safe answer "They receive this drama based on the script and it's no harm cooperating with each other again". However, we were there seeing their reaction and how they interact with each other, there is really something suspicious. They are very very natural and cute with each other, it's like what we are seeing in the drama now. There are many many pink bubbles. Moreover, even though SYJ and HB are born in same year, in term of career age, SYJ is a senior. That's why when they interact, it mimics what happens in CLOY. She will tease him, then he will be embarrassed "Oops, did I do something wrong" (because he's younger, he's afraid he do something impolite). Those actions keep happening , so it's really interesting to witness.

Hello BinJin shippers/shoppers. I am a silent reader and trying to backread this thread, currently at page 111  Thank you everyone for wonderful insights and analysis which help me get confident and become paddler of this amazing ship.

 

This morning I came accross this video from v@st and found HB's face expression very interesting. A very serious look while talking to staff but keep glancing and sweet smiling towards someone at the corner who we cannot see but all know. I believe this is from BinJin photoshoot for CLOY.

Wow!! This thread is moving super fast! I thot I got it wrong when I saw the extra 3-4 pages from my last check last night but it was not a fluke! Lol!

 

i know there are some passionate discussions happening, with different POV on what should or should not be discussed here. All I say is just ship and love Binjin and have fun gals/ guys! Don’t take take it too seriously and chill. As long we don’t hurt Binjin or HB and SYJ indIvidually, and also respect each other’s POV.

 

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I WANNA SAY IS :

Hyun Bin oppa actually visited Daegu in end September 2018?! Chin-ca?!

Thats like sweet honey to my shipper heart! Give me more evidence!
