I did not say that. Actually, I love eonnie Yejin more than oppa Hyun Bin. Hehe. This is a shipping page we should not talk about who's better between the two of them when it comes to acting etc. I'm just trying to share some of the hints that I've found of how much they want to be together in a project. Hehe.

Yes I think the same way, too. Like, either HB will do it if YJ does it or both will do it if the other is in it. They do want to work together anyhoo, riiiiiighttt... 

 

And the opportunity came early. Look at the drama now - it gains attention worldwide. What a huge success. Best decision ever, HB and YJ.

 

ETA (because I don’t want to waste a page repeating things):

 

One: Both are amazing actors and I truly believe they bring out the best in each other. Their chemistry is rare. So I just hope that this whole “who is better” debacle is actually because of miscommunication - maybe the message gets lost in translation (we all do come from so many parts of the world anyhoo).

 

Two: BinJin shippers’ paradise. Should be kept as paradise ok  I’m actually excited to finally get my thoughts across over this whole thing (I read so many old pages on my spare time) - but I can’t find the right words to say it yet. Maybe later. 
 

Three: When in doubt, back-read the posts here. You’ll have a better picture of things later. 
 

Four: X for exes/other pairings in the forum. A bigggg NO. DM function is there for a reason.

 

Five: Don’t think too hard - I know that as shoppers we work on timeline of uri couple(s) and all, but don’t think too much of it, really. I did that before, longgggg time ago when I was much younger and new to shipping, and seriously, I regretted many of my irresponsible actions as a young shipper then, because...

 

Six: The answer is, most of the time, dead simple. Like, it’s in front of us right now.

You should have not mentioned that he got offerred the role first without solid evidence.

OMG! Thanks for pointing that out in the video. The MC's comment was hilarious. Take note of HB's expression/ half laugh when SYJ answered the question. It's like "Oops, wrong answer Babe." 
 I also noticed how HB was so gracious with his answers, constantly giving credit to SYJ. 

 

Regarding the above  article, I have a feeling that HB was actively looking for a project for them to do and PJE's script was just perfect. I think the characters were tailor made for them. So no discussion because it was a given. As, SYJ said "it was meant to be in a sense."

We should all stop having internal conflicts as fellow shippers/shoppers. There is no such thing as who is better than the other person. Hyun Bin and Son Yejin are both fantastic, amazing beings on their own. They each have their own good points and together, they bring the best out of each other. Stop trying to prove that either one of them is more superior than the other. We don't even know them personally and I think it's being very unfair to both of them.

Ive read comments post ep 1-2 saying that SYJ cant pull off comedy, and that they shouldve given the role to JJH instead. Awesome job at proving the haters wrong, yejin

I don’t know the reason why the topic keeps coming back to their exes and costars. To be blunt, that should be the last thing we focus on.

 

first, an ex is an ex for a reason. How many of us have come back to an old flame? I mean was there actually flame when they broke up rather quickly like that? If they wanted to rekindle, it should’ve happened way before the switzerland events. Even if the time she was in switzerland coincided with the time they were filming, which was not the case, it would not prove anything. What’s the point in coming all the way there when everything can be done in korea and when your bf was working? 

Second, yj’s costar actually came to LA for official activities, not like hb who said he came there for business but no one can confirm if it was true. And do you think if there was sth going on, he’d still send a coffee truck decorated with that lovely photo of se ri and jung hyuk to the set? 
 

Sometimes I just wanna knock some sense into these doubters. Yeah you can have doubts as shippers but also try to think logically. Why dragging unrelated people into this? I think his ex-gf would be so annoyed seeing all the comments asking if they’re back together just becuz she happened to be in switzerland. I mean it was a filming location, not even a place hb visited in private or anything. Ughhh.

01: their first rumor wasn’t the golf issue. the first one was HB visiting YJ parents in daegu in this video around 18:20 the reporter said some one commented about binnie’s trip to daegu and jinnie’s parents live there so he went there to meet them.

02: playing golf together; in that golf picture the blue line is bin and the red one is jin and the green one is the colleague of the person who published the photo on instagram.

in the caption of that post she wrote that on the left side of the photo YJ is preparing for rounding and then she wrote to her friend that “if you came you would see HB too”.

03: A naver blog id posted about them on 12.sep.2018;

she said her friend working on ent industry and he/she said this two will marry. and then after the news of meeting the parents of YJ she posted that she said it in the past and again she wrote they will marry.

 

04: they met the parents and the meeting with HB’s friend; all of you know about the parents but no one mentioned the meeting with binnie’s marine sonbae

on 9 jan 2019 someone in naverblog posted about BinJin and said on 08 she saw binjin with lee jinwoo. maybe you don’t know who is lee jin woo so i want to say in past times i heard about him. he is binni’s marine sonbae.

Yoona in one of her IV said she talk with YJ onnie about acting so much. (and you think her next sentence was about WHO??) she said i do the same with HB oppa too (I just want to know why two of them, in their movie she seemed to be more friendly with YHJ so she could talk about him but no it’s always about BinJin)

 

So all i want to say is don’t think about others when there are so much proves for this ship

SYJ is a queen of korean movie industry and we all know it.

And HB also is a big big person in this industry. He is the syndrome making man  and a man with Grand prize from Baeksang. He has 4 drama that made 현빈 앓이 in korea which means HB syndrome. so you should know two of them are the best in terms of acting and also personality. so don’t say that she is better or he is better. We ship them together so they’re the best in our hearts.

Agree. But my reasoning is different.

 

Son Ye Jin despite being a top star in films, is not exactly a bankable drama star. Except for Pretty Noona which saw moderate success in ratings (though critically acclaimed), her past dramas just did not rate well. In Korea she is known as a competent and acclaimed film actress rather than a power commercial star.  Her CFs and brand endorsements are a clear indication of this.  I seriously doubt she would have been the first choice for Park Ji Eun if not for Hyun Bins recommendation (or preference keke). 

 

What I find really interesting is how she has written this script almost as a "love gift" to the couple cleverly weaving in their tabloid rumours to their similarities in habits, to their past drama and film references that only hard core fans of the actor and actress picked up on. Its like PJE watched every FMV of the couple after Negotiation and decided on some of the scenarios in the script.

 

The end result was magic that miraculously recharged the careers of them all. For PJE, its her second true bonafide hit after MWCFTS. For Son Ye Jin- it has propelled her finally into the top CF star category which I hope translates into a coffee endorsement for her (the holy grail of Korean TVC world) and many more.  Same for Hyun Bin too. The last few years in Korea, even though he's a known A-lister, he hasn't had a hit drama or breakout movie since coming out of the army. Advertisers have largely placed their monies with actors like Park Seo Joon, Jung Hae In and Gong Yoo over the last 3 years ( i personally find it an overkill especially Gong Yoo. Hes taken over my neighbourhood bonjuk stores as well. Haiz)

 

But word out now is that HB is flushed with many CF lovecalls not only domestically but across Asia as well. I think we will see a lot more of him very soon.

 

Hopefully they can both milk the popularity of the drama and opportunities created through it. Save up for a special event to bless fans later maybe?
