So when SYJ arrived with White Land Rover I saw the bodyguard not open the door for SYJ right away but listened to some order from his eye phone first. Then opened the door and escorted SYJ right away to the spot for the press. HB‘s Black Lincoln car arrived after a little while and parked behind SYJ’s car with the other bodyguard.  So when I saw it I thought like oh!! it must be something:)

Hello everyone, I have been a silent reader for a while in this forum . I truly enjoy all the thoughts and conversations you all had which help me to move on from CLOY post withdrawal syndrome.

 

I have been HB’s fan since MNKSS days. Since then, I have watched almost all of his dramas/ movies (except for HJ&M, his acting was great, but somehow I didn’t get his chemistry with HJM). As for SYJ, I watched her dramas/ movies on and off, but she got back into my radar recently because of her outstanding performance in SITR. Being a female in mid 30s myself, I can relate to her character and she put so much nuance to it.

 

Now, here’s my view about our BinJin couple (warning: it’s a long post  )

 

Being HB’s fan since 2005, I can tell that HB’s is an introvert, private and reserved person. He sometimes throws jokes in interviews, but you can sense that he does it for entertainment purpose and tries not to reveal himself too much to the public. It’s only in few occasions throughout his career that I see him willingly open up and truly enjoying himself while doing projects. It seems that he will only open up to people that he trusts and feels comfortable with.

 

1) TN promo (Aug/ Sept 2018): I was shocked when I came across SYJ’s insta post during TN promo. I was like, ‘wait a minute, what happened to HB? Suddenly he became so open, playful and looked like genuinely enjoying SYJ’s company’. I then started to see more videos of TN promos and noticed HB’s excessive glares and caring attitudes towards SYJ. I concluded myself at that time, ‘man, this guy definitely has feelings for SYJ’. He’s usually good at hiding his emotions in the public, but not this time around.

 

2) Dating rumor and LA groceries sighting (Jan 2019): When the rumor and sightings surfaced, I was not surprised at all. From my observation throughout the years, HB is the kind of guy who will pursue what he wants and not afraid to do so. Case in point, he’s not afraid to be frank and open about who he is dating in the past. I can totally buy in the idea that HB jet off to LA straightaway after MOTA wrap up party to celebrate SYJ’s birthday.

 

3) CLOY casting confirmation (Mar/ Apr 2019): I was surprised that they agreed to take this project, given that there’s already dating rumor with strong evidence (#ingrocerywetrust). And they should know that the rumor will go even crazier if they appear together and show amazing chemistry in the drama (which they did). So here's my thought after their LA trip, either

A) They are already dating, so CLOY would be their last chance to act together before they get serious and go public (HB mentioned numerous times that he admired SYJ’s acting skilsl and he would like to act with SYJ in romcom/ melo drama); OR

 

B) HB is still a man in pursue of SYJ’s confirmation. SYJ appears to be an independent and strong woman who doesn’t really need a guy constantly in her life. So I’m not surprised if it takes some time for SYJ to weigh in before finally committing herself into a serious relationship. So being in CLOY will allow them to spend more time together before finally committing into something more serious.

 

Then CLOY finally airs and we all can see the sparks especially in bts and promo clips (tvn & netflix – no matter how you edit it, the sparks is still there and we can see it as clear as sky ). In the early eps, SYJ is still being herself, playful and witty with HB, but towards the end, you can see that she slowly gives in to HB and shows her feminine side (clue: bts piano scene in RJH’s room, ring exchange bts and hospital bed bts). And let’s not talk about HB glares which we all noticed.

 

Sorry this becomes a long post, I just can’t help it . Anyway, I believe they are dating now. Even if they don’t, their relationship has surely entered a new level after CLOY. I’m fine with all the denials from both sides. I honestly think it’s best if we don’t hear anything from them and CLOY hype dies down, so they can work things out behind the scene with less scrutiny from the public. Being HB fan all this years, I can tell that SYJ definitely brings the new and best side of him that I have not seen before. So I will patiently wait for them to announce good news in the public (hopefully not too long though ).

honestly I'm shocked that press con questions were filtered, I never heard of journalists being censored like that. Thanks for the Taiwanese journalist video, I love the "many pink bubbles from BinJin" hehehe.  In every news videos I see from BinJin couple rumours you can see the reporters are not so secretly rooting for our OTP. They all have these knowing sly smiles kekeke.

Take a look at this video with 28min focus on HB's perfect face! It's really one of the best fancam I've seen of HB and it's 2160k 4K clarity!! Super deep dimples (I seem to have a soft spot for dimples) and smiley crinkly eyes. And super high cheekbones and nose. I notice that HB also has very smiley and kind eyes, just like SYJ. They really have very similar features (I remember one video earlier that merge their faces together and can hardly tell the difference!). Just imagine both of them looking into each other's eyes ..... so dreamy! It's no wonder one MC said it's the meeting of 2 actors with the most expressive eyes.

 

 

 

 

BTW, who worked with HB first? Yoona or Yejin? I am terrible at remembering timelines. I also wonder if HB was introduced to YJ's good friends during Negotiation VIP premier since Yoona was also there. I don't think he has worked with any of YJ's cinderella gang, right?

I will not be surprised if I see the Daegu speculation spread on social media and shared or retweeted. Remember, it is only speculation. And speculation can become truth after a few retweets.

A cute reaction video to CLOY's finale episode! I've enjoyed watching this twitter's account review, translations and reaction to CLOY. They also say they don't know what to watch after CLOY lol!! My imagination went wild after i see this pic. i was like OH Shhhh  ....things started unfolding! 

 

I had an epiphany -  OMG They are actually in each other circle. A real close tight knit group of people! YJ didn't even need to be in this pic to tell me anything!

 

Their fate could have been so much like in the CLOY where they keep missing on one another, until TN happened.

 

I can imagine -  what if when HB was dating, SYJ was single and when HB was single again, SYJ is dating and they just keep on missing one another. The timing was never good!  Their friends could never really set them up. Fast forward to TN - only for them to meet on their own. Then everything fall into places.

 

I can only imagine how much they would have gotten tease from their friends after TN interviews came out that is if they weren't dating already. There would have been so much pressure to date from their friends with a lot of cheer!

 

Man...I mean people can give you so much evidence for you to believe in but  there is no feeling so great when you realize things on your own terms. And I don't know if they went to Maldives together or not, but LJH alone already gave me so much. So thank you for your theory cloyfan

 

To  conclude my conclusion again - I have finally come to my very final conclusion that - yes they are ABSOLUTELY TOGETHER! I am just gona wait for the wedding news patiently while sipping me latte.

I decided to write this post to support you all. I have been a silent reader since the CLOY began. I have checking this forum everyday just to get more new photos, videos and news about our beloved couple. Of course, this forum has never disappointed me. All Binjin shippers here have good eyes and ears  and good at analyzing things. After all this time of reading news and observing the action and behavior of our Binjin (especially HB--very obvious), I came to the conclusion that HB and YJ are dating. If they were just friends, I don't think any boy-boyfriend will look at any girl-girlfriend with such a sweet eyes like that.  I am now in 40s, I believe I can read people's mind. I've seen many guys react to their girl friends even though the guys who are very sweet, they don't take care of the girls like how HB does to YJ. HB's actions are beyond just friend. I don't really care so much about their agencies denied the rumors. This is entertainment business, they protect their own artists. We will just have to wait a little bit. I don't think Binjin will announce about they are dating, I believe they will announce their relationship when they are engaged or getting married

@B.MMM  I re-read your post again cuz it gave me so many new nuggets of Binjin and makes more heart flutter (just like the CLOY ahjummas when they saw him running to SR who's lost in the market lol). That's the benefit of understanding korean cuz you can see all the hidden clues that we miss in translations. As this is also the initial video after Grocery Saga, I suspect many of these are real clues, but after that their agencies likely shut down and control all the news on Binjin rumours.

 

The one that made me flutter the most is the possibility of HB visiting YJ parents in Daegu! This means it happens after or before Negotiation promo? Since it's before the Golf event, means it could be before Negotiation promo or during Negotiation promo?

 

YJ meeting HB's Marine sonbae is another heart-fluttering hint. If it's really true, then HB must be very close with this sonbae and wants him to meet his new found love.

 

And that rumor about Binjin going lunch with their managers only is so sweet! If they were not close, they would have just go lunch on their own (like most co-stars). Means they want to spend time together but need the managers as "chaperones" lol in case reporters or netizens catch them!

 

I am also very tickled whenever Yoona mentions both SYJ and HB in the same interview. I saw one video of Yoona doing a video or insta story recording, and got HB to say hi to the fans. She's another cheerful and bubbly gal, and is one of the major connection between Binjin.

Totally agree with you (and also others who have said similar points). Personally I believe both HB and SYJ were first choice of the writer for the male and female lead for CLOY. Both SR and JH has equal screen time, and are equally important roles to carry the story and ensure the drama's success. SYJ and HB are both top stars and A-listers and it's not easy to book them, hence the writer needed to offer them way in advance. During the CLOY press con, SYJ mentioned both were given the script and both knew the other party was offered the lead roles. This is actually not uncommon, for the writer or director to tell the other lead who their possible counterparts are. They may even see it as an advantage to ensure both their first choice of ML and FL accept the offer, esp since both have said they want to work together again.  Both HB and SYJ are very professional, and I believe they will accept the script based on the writer/ director/ script itself, and also because both wants to work together again.

-  So many longtime HB fans commented how different he is when he's with SYJ, that it's not even a question anymore LOL! She seem to bring out the playfulness in him, which is so Awww....heart fluttering!

From the background videos/ interviews that I've seen, it was not easy for him to become an actor as the dad was dead set against it. So he really has the tenacity to achieve the goal that he sets his heart to (SYJ is also one strong lady). Him zooming off to LA right after the MOA wrap-up party on 31 Dec'19 was such a romantic gesture! Hey, could he have reach LA in time to celebrate New Year's eve with YJ too?? Celebrating new year's eve with a loved one (esp first year dating) is like "THE MUST DO THING" ever!

 

- All the observations about SYJ showing her feminine side to HB makes my all SOFT and GLOO_EY!

That's my sentiments exactly. 

HB was first caught my attention when I first saw him in My Love Kim Sam Soon, he looked boyish and young but the acting was a bit meh and in fact it was Kim Sun Ah acting impressed me more. I even bought the dvd cover and watched 7 times!! I watched Memories of Alhambra too but for me the character was a bit jerk although he looked suave there. As for Secret Garden I watched few episodes and gave up cos it was not my cup of tea. Watched the negotiation movie before CLOY and even though there was very few onscreens between HB and YJ still it oozed chemistry. 

As for YJ, I first watched her in Summer Scent and again she looked young and the acting was a bit meh also. I was not interested at her until I watch Master in the House and I found her different from other actress in terms of personality and aura. In summary, I was not interested both of them individually but I love them as a couple! Strange right? 

It seems that they complete each other well and HB acting was very well expressed  from his eyes in CLOY especially when he was with YJ. It was so obvious from their offscreen interaction from BTS promo interviews etc.
