I think I’m just repeating a lot of people’s points here, but for the “coldness” from HB towards SYJ as some people claimed, I personally think that the “coldness” displayed on camera was very forced, and stiff, and unnatural...What I was thinking when I saw the video clip was “oh they missed their smiles at each other”. HB did not see SYJ’s smiles at him, and when he turned around to smile at her, she had already turned away. Maybe at that moment HB thought SYJ was trying to act as if there was nothing going in between them as previously planned and discussed, so he held back his smiles and put on his stiff poker face!? Then the slip of that attitude when he was nervous and couldn’t keep himself in check (e.g. the well known smirk) is what we are all dying for here!

 

 

I am just wondering why SYJ’s company do not take advantage of the big waves that CLOY has created worldwide at all. Maybe SYJ’s preference plays a big part here? She has kept a very low profile, with zero activities, since CLOY ended.

I do feel awkward/uncomfortable between them during that event.  BUT, I was not surprised at all, I knew it would happen, they always act like a stranger in front of public, I mean look at them when they were being strangers at the airport and being stiff during CLOY presscon. 
I think they tried their best to not looking so obvious to not create any buzz and to not overshadow a whole ceremony

I have read all posts which were posted yesterday and as much as I thought that I should not reply back as it is rather petty to launch into fights over such issues, I also believe that I should protect and defend myself if my integrity and character are being questioned and/or tarnished by someone, and being a lawyer myself with background in politics, I know what the legal consequences would be for saying such statements and the legal action that I can take towards the other, as well as what actions one can take against me. I entered this fandom perfectly aware of such risks as this is not my first shipping fandom, but since my integrity and character are being called out by some of you, I decided to write this statement.

 

It surprises me that one would delve so much and assume so much about myself over my critique over their sartorial choices. Did I directly bash Ye Jin saying that she’s ugly? No! Did I said directly that Hyun Bin looked like crap that night? No! I don’t want to receive letter of demand from their end saying that I have damaged their reputation. I’m not crazy at all - I know the consequences should that was done and I won’t do that.

 

All I’m saying is that they deserve better sponsorships for the night, given their A-list stature in K-Industry. Something that is befitting their status. But they choose something else, and they might have their own reasons to do so. Reasons of which us, mere fans would never know until one fine day, they (or their stylists for that matter) explained as to the reason they are chosen to wear such brand and why they chose to wear it. They can refuse it if they want to, but obviously they didn’t, and in the end, they looked great. I personally think that Ye Jin smashed that red carpet on Friday with her look that night - it was a really solid look without having to wear too much accessories on. They made do with what they had and they looked amazing, and even better together in the same frame that night.

 

We all don’t know the actual reason as to why they chose the brand. For all we know they might be the next global ambassador of this brand or something- a lucrative deal might be in the works. And I prefer not knowing anything for now and be surprised later. But again, we’ll never know.

 

This is the danger of overreacting over one statement written by others without putting a careful thought on things. We never know who is the real person behind the poster’s persona unless that person decides to reveal herself or himself. Such reactions reflects who we are as a person, our pedigree, our background and our perception.   
 

And I choose to reveal my actual occupation today.

 

Everyone knows none of us would ever have a standing chance against them at all, and entering the fandom perfectly aware that we are not going to marry or hook up with those artists. They don’t even know us personally. In fact, I am very particular about fans breaching the fourth wall between them and artists because then, it would be amount to a breach of privacy. If my recent statements make you think that I am a delusional fan of Hyun Bin, well, that is your assumption, not mine. Just don’t make an assumption out of me so much and spread it around if you don’t take the time to actually get to know me. So many of the previous posters have left this forum before, and if those posters who are here still can verify who I am and what I have explicitly stated here previously, please do. 

 

That being said, I don’t want to create more frictions in this fandom because I believe at the end of the day, our common objective here at this thread is providing support to them as a unit. And they too, recognized our support as a unit, and addressed it in public together. They could have done it separately or not to acknowledge that at all, but in the end they did it.

 

Together.

 

I want Hyun Bin to be happy as much as you guys, and if by being with Ye Jin / Son Eon Jin makes him the happiest he has ever been, so be it. Same with Ye Jin, if being with Hyun Bin / Kim Tae Pyung makes her the happiest out of being with everyone else, so be it. None of us have any control over their lives and whatever their decisions are, positive or negative, we should be able to accept it without any hesitation, questions or qualms.

 

The overwhelming support from fans worldwide that like seeing them together also make them come out and address it together, but again, please do not breach the fourth wall. Don’t over analyze things and to look for things  more than what that is there for you to see because it will too, scare them further. Don’t bombard her IG handle or even Vast’s or their stylists or other artist’s supposedly related to them or we think are related to them. We do not want this fandom to be labeled as delusional.

 

None of us know them for sure, none of us know them as a person (both use stage names) and none of us know the real score between those two.
 

We don’t know why do they gravitate towards each other for sure, but if the awards show on Friday is of any indication, it is quite clear why being with each other makes them feel the happiest: it’s because they really believe in each other’s potential and are very supportive towards each other. Like I mentioned earlier, entertainment industry is a scary place where everyone is competing against each other and are envious of one’s achievements, wealth or even their choice of partners and spouses for some inexplicable reasons. I am not surprised if at all they too, have been stabbed or used by their own colleagues in the race to stardom as well as in their personal lives. We’ll never know.

 

Furthermore, to have someone who would genuinely supports you as a person and also your career as an actor is very rare if not none. They might understand it, but unable to support it. I am glad that they are really supportive of one another in terms of their career and are willing to share the stage together. It takes a lot of ego-clashing for that to happen between actors, but for them not to have that at all with each other and address the award together when they don’t even have to, says a lot.

 

Just because I no longer post every day, in and out that I love this pairing doesn’t mean that I don’t love them or don’t love them anymore, it’s because I simply have other things to do in real life. And that’s what my focus really is and should be. I have said it enough for months as to what I really think of them, so feel free to dig those in. Read them up and then you can make your own informed decision as to what I really think of them.

 

And if you really have issues with me personally, please drop me a message and discuss the issue in a calm manner. I received direct messages from the posters here too, and I will address them properly. I don’t think that taking legal actions are necessary at this juncture, because proper one-on-one conversations will do. Spare others and the fandom from long individual arguments and resolve the issues amicably.

 

Accord a person the same respect the way you want to be respected by others. 

 

I trust the above clarifies the issue. Looking forward to more mature and carefully thought out conversations here, be it at the thread itself or via messages. I might not be responding to them every day as I put my own self-restraint over my time spent on this, but I will address it to the best of my ability. Whatever actions we do here reflect our own credibility as individuals and as their fans, and let’s all be better about it. Not merely to show other fandoms that we are better, but also for this fandom to be represented well.

 

And this has been said like a broken record but yes, again, ship responsibly.

If anything that is one of the main reasons, they aren't announcing anything. There are actually other more important stuff happening in the world right now that needs more attention. I believe most who are doing those spamming on instagram aren't in this thread. We can't control those crazies but yes I wish they stop commenting and flooding SYJ especially about it. They are lucky SYJ hasn't turned off her comments. Some of the comments to her were like really long paragraphs. I am sure is one of the many reasons why she doesn't use instagram as much anymore besides the influence from her "close friend"  They are lucky she posted an update recently. If she didn't, they are continuing to spam her old instagram photos with comments. SIGH

I’m disappointed on her agency for doing the absolute minimum since well for awhile now. However it’s known after a drama she takes a break to unload . Plus the whole covid situation doesn’t help . Most productions already started and some will be delayed so they are awaiting . We don’t know what offers she has reviewed already or accepted , there was an article about offers abroad . 
 

HB has endorsements which I assume were agreed before the chaos . The same with his movie . 
 

I hope she will go back to movies , they take less time to make and they are relatively less stressing like a drama filming .

Hey guys! I'm sure these articles has been shared here previously. Many shippers were delighted to see these and said how powerful BinJin are as the media put a spotlight on them rather than the actors with major awards.

 

And this is in my opinion, one of the reasons why they had keep their actions discreetly. They knew, even if they have denied the dating rumors countless times in the past, the rumors didn't really died down. Because of the obvious ofc. Just look how a "popularity" award made headlines. Avid fans/shippers were not the only ones who were on stand by for new contents from Binjin. We can basically say that ALL EYES WERE ON THEM. 

 

It's too much pressure already and for sure they truly respect the other attendees to steal the thunder from anyone. So please. For the love of God. Please stop with the cold comments. HB and SYJ are humans too. They can be exhausted too.  

 

Speaking of. I just feel sorry for HB's stylist. You cannot blame her if she turned off her comments section because of the pressure from some shippers scrutinizing all the details. I would also do the same if I were her. I mean there's nothing wrong to comment, but please, be responsible enough before you type in anything. Some comments are just cringe worthy really. PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK. 

 

And lastly, I truly respect JHI but please stop comparing him to HB and say that JHI is more caring towards SYJ. They are two different individuals for goodness sake. I just can't believe what I've been reading on IG lols.

 

IMHO, HB respects SYJ as a powerful independent woman. And I truly believe this is one of her traits that made HB fall for her  Its actually heart fluttering for me, the moment YJ climbed on the stairs and his eyes were carefully watching her feet from behind. I'd take that small gesture rather than seeing them faking everything. With the holding hands etc.

 

So yeah. I just want to let this out because I've been reading alot of negative comments towards HB. He's such a bear to be hated. I just want to hug him with all my might but I'm not SYJ, so I can just wish.

This (many eyes watching them closely) plus their very wanted privacy (because everyone wants keep privacy about personal life, right?) plus the serious worldwide situation (pandemic) plus the seriousness of the event (very formal and professional event),... all these facts are strong reasons why we saw just glances and small/ subtle gestures (but OMO! They are still PRECIOUS).

I like Ralph Lauren stuff, I have shirts, dresses, towels and a purse, they can be pricey for a middle class like me in the states and I usually get them either at Macy's or their outlet stores. The ones they both wore are high end  It will take my whole 401k and my house payment to afford those haha.

While I was on the website, I really like the navy blue polo dress. It made me wonder if she likes to wear a polo t shirt and shorts while golfing or wouldn't mind that RL navy blue polo dress  Yup because of them wearing RL, these were thoughts that came to my head while I was browsing the website lol.

 

It is simple RALPH LAUREN = POLO SHIRT = GOLFING  lol. Why would they choose any other brand

@ccb_RiRi I agree about all eyes on them. Also why the camera person kept giving us shots of them in the audience. However, wonder if it was in an agreement not to have as much full shots of them. Normally you would have the camera focus on both of them on stage while they are both accepting the award and making their speeches. The camera person chose to focus on the person making the speech instead. I found that decision of filming interesting. And they immediately zoomed out to a full shot of the audience once the person were done their speech. We barely got to see them leave the stage lol.

We will never know for sure, unless it is being revealed by them. Having said that, try look at it from this perspective - wearing something that is affordable might boost the sales of the brand because fans tend to purchase what the artists wear. And if it somewhat generates better sales for Ralph Lauren for the matter, why not, right? Given the current pandemic, people are more conscious about what they spend on, and if this somehow boosts their sales, then all is well and good. They already have one of their longtime customers in me anyway hahaha.

Anyways I stated the clues above, Ralph Lauren ended up being the perfect brand for them to wear  Plus the navy blue and gold combo or as one mentioned before of midnight blue and gold. Whatever reason, they are both perfect colors that can also go for wedding decor  But it is also a matching color combo for other stuff too lol.

What the director planned, we'll never know. The behind the camera photos from different media outlets were very limited too.

The saddest part really was their decision to not let any audience watch inside the venue, also the limited space they gave for the red carpet. Basically they literally didn't gave us a chance to have juicy contents haha. The same reason why people had extreme assumptions from the minimal contents we saw. Unfortunately. 

 

They could have at least allow 3 fan members per artist to give support. Lol. But anyway, it is what it is.

Dear BJ Shippers,

First I wish to say what an honour it is to be on the same ship as you. What a glistening, fine ship we have!  For those who voted, we helped launch a heroic SK/international campaign that secured the trophies for our couple and allowed us to see them together again! Applause, hats off, big pat on the back!

 

Second, now is the time to recognize the stage at which we are on this BinJin journey. We have all seen and analysed the bts, interviews, pics and offered up our couple-theories. We now realise that BinJin are fully aware of these and they encouragingly responded to us with the “We” language in the Tiktok interview. They know we know the score. The stage we’re at is the near-docking stage and if you have observed ships, what do they do as they approach port? They slow down. They don’t want to knock into anything that might damage the ship. We need to understand this and if we wish to keep them company, we too need to slow down, not overtake them shouting loud demands and instead, quietly watch the waves bring them home.

 

We keep seeking reassurance from BinJin, despite the ship load of evidence from TN promo days, right up to the recent Metro interview and Tiktok. Well, BinJin need reassurance from us too. They need to know we are mature, honorable and willing to give them the space to safely dock and not be made a circus act when they de-cloak on their relationship. Whilst I’ve indulged in analysis and admit to enjoying shippers’ theories, I’d agree that some analyses are over the pettiest crumbs and so fanciful that I feel I’m being sent into outer space. This extreme habit of ours must scare BinJin to death because over-doing things is so contrary to how they are and what they like! They are exactly the opposite. Some of the stuff on socmed makes me bite my nails in fear that they will drive BJ underground for good! So let’s provide BJ the emotionally safe, comforting, quiet blanket of our support, rather than the scorching frenzy that comes with dizzy fangirling.

 

While we wait, we can re-watch CLoY (I’m on my 22^nd watch, thank you very much) and all the bts vids. They’re still heart tugging and smile raising after all this time. Let’s patiently wait together and let BJ see that it’s safe to come out.

So there’s no need to be defensive nor hostile to comments that you feel don’t meet your expectations. Dear fangirl shippers who make side swipes at either HB or SYJ, please know the difference between freedom of speech and inappropriate speech because this thread is officially cited as a “Soompi Shippers Paradise” = for people who celebrate both HB&SYJ and dream and wish for them to be together for life. It’s not a free for all. Freedom of speech is not a license to disrupt and be a downer, not to mention calling us names like sharks and potential traitors. And some who advocate freedom&fairness are the same ones who side-swipe at either SYJ or HB. How contradictory! And how does that help make this thread a paradise?

 

Dear newcomers. Welcome! Most of us in this thread are head over heels about BinJin, so don't let occasional downer-posters and catfights worry you. And whatever you do, IGNORE TROLLS and DOUBTERS. As a fellow shipper once said, it's natural to occasionally have doubts but it's a no-no in this thread to cast doubts.

 

*A final note - There are some regular shippers here who are sincere enthusiasts but forget that this is a shipper forum and not a personal blog. Not every post requires your reply or input. It gets tiring to have to keep scrolling to the next page because your posts have taken up so much space that new pages are required. When this thread reaches 2000, it will get archived and a new thread started, so easy access to past info may not be possible. What a pity then, as past pages have so much information. Hello! I am shipping all the way from the USA! I am new to this forum but not a new shipper. Can someone tell me how to respond to a specific comment? My post below was meant to respond but I was not able to do it!
 

Anyhow, I have been seeing many posts that RL (Ralph Lauren) is a cheap brand so just wanted to provide some expertise in this area (I work in fashion marketing). BinJin’s attire at Baeksang is actually luxury RL and with the dazzling of all of their accessories included , I can guarantee what they wore puts them at the top of the $$ A-list! I love the RL brand too and what most people are used to is the clothing RL makes for the common consumers like us, BUT they have a very high-end luxury and prestigious clothing line. RL has a luxury line for formal handmade women’s gowns called “Ralph Lauren Collection” and men’s formal wear called “Ralph Lauren Purple Label”. RL collection dresses I’ve seen run $2,000 to $10,000 USD, same for men’s suits. SYJ’s is from this collection (Gigi Hadid is the supermodel sponsor), while I believe HB’s is from men’s purple label line. They are sold only exclusively at high end stores or by special order, what you see on the website isn’t the entire collection. I failed to add earlier, this is just base price and does not include any customization or additional tailoring costs. Many top A list celebrities in the USA and Europe have worn these two luxury RL lines at several awards, such as the Emmys, Grammys, Oscars, Met Gala, etc (you can google search and see the photos of celebrities).
 

......and as a fellow shipper, I really love love the connection between Ralph’s and golf lol.  Happy shipping friends!

You got that right sistah, so let's settle for our BinJin,... Ralph Lauren it is!   I have to confessed though, before the beksang event I included them in my prayer for them to win the best actor/actress award, but I did not feel very positive so I knew they won't get it. Sorry my BinJin loves. Mianhe (sp?) teaching myself some korean.

 

I also have to confess, that I'm a BTS fanny haha and guess what my fave among them is "V" who is Kim Tae-Heung and when I found out that Binnie's real name is Kim Tae-Pyung, and that Jinnie's name is actually close to my name (like literally Jin-ah) I was like, they are my destiny indeed!
