Yes, but this is just my personal observation and I'm going to put it in the spoiler, since some of it could seem off-topic. I hope SYJ and HB experts in here can shed more light?

I think for SYJ, she's done way more movies (and has received a lot of critical acclaim because of that) than she's done dramas, so I haven't seen this type of level of love and obsession or hardcore shipping (shipping wise, closest is probably with JHI from SITR). I've followed her on Instagram for awhile now, and she's gained so many more followers since CLOY. 

 

As for HB... he definitely had this type of fan love and obsession during his Secret Garden days 10 years ago. I remember that time clearly. In regards to shipping, people shipped him hard with HJW and it really got out of hand. Those shippers were considered pretty toxic, esp because HB was dating his ex (SHK) at the time. There are still some around today and I sometimes see them comment on certain sites or videos that are related to HB and SYJ. 

Anyway, this is why it's important to ship responsibly like everyone's been saying, because I remember I was turned off by shippers during SeGa days, and I never thought I would become one... but here I am.

Funny in that one interview when HB was left speechless when SYJ mentioned that they were in talks for possible projects but HB didn't do them. All he could do was drink soju!   Curious to know what those projects might have been.  Simply as a matter of curiosity though, not regrets.  As in most things, timing is everything!

I’m glad to see more and more shipping accounts posting on “how to be a responsible shipper”. Hopefully everyone will remember the rules. 
 

For those real shippers who are greatly affected by those fake shippers, please take a break from shipping, do something you like and check out this thread once a week or so. Your quality of life is much more important.

When you see such posts, the advice is to ignore and not read them as they are usually trolls. If you are to click on their username, you will almost always see that their account is set up recently (like less than an hour ago) and the main purpose is to make the post to create doubts.

 

Anyway, taking a break is also good. I am not so bothered by the doubters but really upset, frustrated and disappointed to see the division and fighting in this thread. Thankfully there are also many shippers who help to maintain a positive vibe for all like @TotoroSY and @Felizak@t and her cat stories which never fails to bring a smile.

I believe the hype will die down soon. Jin gets back to work today (cre. IG justincatering). I was happy to see her happy, radiant and glowing more than ever in BAA. She's refreshed, recharged and full of energy (that lady walked really fast to the stage that night lol). She probably will be busy with new works and focus on real activities other than reading negative comments on socmed. I have faith in her and don't worry much about the fuss. I myself only follow accounts brought positive vibes and ignore ugly comments, even report them as inappropriate if I think necessarry to do so. We got more than what we wished for and I'm grateful for all precious things they share with us.  So we should be less greedy now, slow down, starve the trolls and wait for potential news and excitements. How about another three months? Good news will be coming soon, friends

Hi! I found myself participating more often after BAA happened. Maybe because this is my way to at least gauge BinJin and to get as much as crumbs as possible since I am expecting a long drought of updates from them (specially now that their fans are going overboard across all social media platform). I've been a silent reader her and silently blushing, smiling and visualising all the comments here since i joined this forum, but lately, I am giving my two cents . Anyway, I've been thinking, it's just so sweet to think that SYJ (since CLOY Presscon) is just letting HB lead the way. And it is so sweet of HB to really shield her. 

 

1. He was the one who answered during the CLOY Presscon about the rumor (eventhough the question was not intended to him). He took the shot (just like what Capt Ri did, he didn't dodge).

2. His agency VAST is taking care of all the possible rumors and any negative comments making sure no harm will be done to SYJ and SYJ keeps mum about everthing.

3. Baeksang day. The way HB leads her the way on where to walk towards the stage, the way he held his face up while walking and the smirk and all. I just felt that HB did all those to protect and shield her for any possible questions or incident that might lead to another rumor or speculations. He owned up to everything and letting her feel that "I got you". 

 

SYJ though a strong woman, now learn how to lean against his man and let him take care of everything. HB, a man, who will set aside his usual attitude to "admit relationship in the public" to protect and preserve the woman who is destined for him. Who he waited for the longest time. 

 

So, everyone, let's just be happy for them. Let them be.

I'm agree with you. She was so drop dead gorgeous, so radiant and glowing. Amin..for the good news.  I'll be here waiting and watching for them for announced to the world their happy news. Pray desperately.

I DEFINITELY AGREE TO THE CALL THAT WE SHOULD NOT BE BOMBARDING HYUN BIN AND SON YEJIN'S AGENCIES, STYLISTS, FRIENDS, FRIENDS OF FRIENDS, CO-ACTORS, OR CATERERS ETC. WITH UNNECESSARY COMMENTS ON THEIR PERSONAL PAGE, FB OR IG POSTS. LIKING THEIR POST IS OKAY, BUT POURING OUT YOUR SENTIMENTS OR OBSERVATIONS ON EVERY SINGLE POST THEY MAKE REPEATEDLY IS DIFFERENT. SOME OF THESE PEOPLE ALREADY SHUT THEIR COMMENT SECTION BECAUSE MOST OF THE COMMENTS ARE ANNOYING AND UNCALLED FOR. 

 

WE SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT WE ARE ALL HERE FOR BINJIN BECAUSE WE ADMIRE THESE TWO PEOPLE VERY MUCH AND HOPE THAT EVENTUALLY THEIR RELATIONSHIP WILL PROSPER. WE NEED TO RESPECT NOT ONLY HYUN BIN AND SON YEJIN, BUT ALSO ALL THE PEOPLE AROUND THEM.

THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. ONE PROJECT WILL GET HYUN BIN AND NOT YEJIN, OR ONE ENDORSEMENT WILL GET YEJIN AND NOT HYUN BIN, AND VICE VERSA. WE HAVE TO RESPECT COMPANY/PRODUCT'S DECISION FOR THAT AND NEVER INSIST THAT THEY GET BOTH BECAUSE IT IS INSULTING.

Finally, a breather.  Wonderful efforts of everyone who tried to maintain balance in this super busy forum.  Whenever it rain candies it's always expected that there will be people who will join in the frenzy. People who will try not only to push but impose their agenda. It hurts to see shippers who doesn't realize right away that they are being pitted against each other - by people who doesn't even have a reputation here to start with (hello new accounts). They know that some of us here are either HB or SYJ bias. So, let's be SMART. Any post written to create toxic discourse is already a red flag. If you feel hate and divisiveness are the emotions being awaken by these posts, then it doesn't deserve our response. It shouldn't be given an airtime here. If you feel like responding, can i recommend you just view my cat's butt licking video on Tik Tok?You'll be wasting time anyway. Why not be entertained instead? 

 

We are BINJIN shippers y'all! We're on board a ship that's sailing, saiing, sailing! We got this!

Agree with all fellow shippers that we should not be bombarding the IG accounts of SYJ, Vast, their stylist, and friends. Let us exercise some restraint. Otherwise, it seems that we are asking for another DENIAL, and we surely don't want that.

She got 4.3 millions votes (31%) out of 13.9 millions votes.  

Voting criteria were based on beauty, attractiveness and popularity of 100 female celebrities.
