This! I thought this scene was so real that I don't know if it is still acting. That kiss looked way too natural. Gonna miss these cuties when the drama's finished

Aww, they got knocked off the top spots of Good Data Corp's buzzworthy list for last week. One Spring Night does have pretty big stars.

 

So excited for Wednesday! I've made peace with whatever will happen in the last two episodes. The show gave us the transcendental pairing of Park Min Young and Kim Jae Wook, and I will be forever grateful for that. Right now I find it difficult to imagine coming across another K-drama pair with their level of on-screen and off-screen chemistry (since I don't actually watch a lot of K-drama, haha), or another couple that I will be as enamored by as Deokmi and Ryan. PMY x KJW have become my romance drama standard, the couple I will judge everyone else by.

Agree with you. Whoever casted PMY and KJW together in this drama, hope you will be blessed forever in your life. Same with the future casting director who will cast these two again in the future  But I am okay if they won't be in a drama/movie/variety show together again if they are going from reel to real (pardon my shipper heart)

Kim Jae Wook Attempts To Cook A Delicious Meal For Park Min Young In “Her Private Life”

Kim Jae Wook will become Park Min Young’s personal chef for her birthday in tvN’s “Her Private Life”!

“Her Private Life” is about the romance between perfect art gallery curator Sung Duk Mi (played by Park Min Young) and her boss Ryan Gold (played by Kim Jae Wook).

In the new preview stills, Sung Duk Mi has a facial expression indicating high expectations for the Korean-style seaweed soup (a dish Koreans eat on birthdays) Ryan Gold is preparing for her. He looks attractive with his rolled-up sleeves and unbuttoned shirt, but the dried seaweed in front of him is hilariously massive and appears to be enough to feed 20 people. Regardless, the two look undeniably content in each other’s presence.

The stills build anticipation for viewers to find out whether Ryan Gold will successfully cook up a nice meal for Sung Duk Mi.

Only two episodes remain until the conclusion of “Her Private Life.” The penultimate episode will air on May 29 at 9:30 p.m. KST via tvN.

I'm a selfish fan! I want to see them together in Busted 3 at least! And I want them to send each other coffee trucks and go to each other's movie premieres.  And if they want to date each other, can't they just take a page out of SongSong's playbook and deny it to the end, say we're totes just close friends? (Didn't SHK attend SJK's fan meeting even?)

I cannot deal with HPL ending .. seriously  .. i can feel it guys, my heart is breaking! watched the subbed ep 13 and 14 last weekend, saw the BTS vid, also the BTS pics and all the GIFS ... oh men.. KJW and PMY, this is one unforgettable drama 

 

Have to deal with the SEPANX as early as now.. will there ever be another drama as fine as HPL? well, another KJW and/or PMY drama that is haha 

 

I guess, DM's birthday morning just got served!  Go RG, show DM what a happy birthday looks like 

 

are we finally going to see an RG and GW interaction at last????  That'll be the cutest

Currently rewatching my fav scenes and I am so sad this drama finishes this week  what am I going to do without my weekly dose of RG and DM?  All I know for sure is that this couple has climbed to the top of my fav kdrama couple list and I really hope we see more of them together in future.

 

Hopefully the drama quickly overcomes the whole DM's mum left RG at the orphanage issue because we only have two episodes left and I really hope they don't waste it.. it would be out of character for our two leads to break up entirely over this given their relationship is full of support, understanding and honesty. I do see the possibility of maybe a small brief separation because a) DM feels guilty or b) RG needs time to wrap his head around the situation but if this does occur, I think the drama will quickly overcome this given it's always been fast paced. I just want more of the cute stuff cos who am I kidding, the cute stuff is what I'm here for!  

 

Side note: I rewatched ep 1 and when DM sees RG for the first time, she says "he looks like SA". I remember she was admiring his good looks and recalled her mentioning SA but completely forgot she actually said he looked like SA. It's like the drama was giving us a hint all along that RG and SA were brothers haha

5 Emotion-Filled Moments From Episodes 13 And 14 Of “Her Private Life”

Another week has gone by, and Ryan (Kim Jae Wook) and Duk Mi (Park Min Young) remain as being the most adorable couple ever. But with the series slowly winding down, there’s a lot of loose ends being tied and feelings being felt. Here’s a look at five emotion-filled moments from episodes 13 and 14.

1. Duk Mi not being able to stay away from Ryan

Duk Mi finds out about Lee Sol (Lee Il Hwa) being Ryan’s mother pretty quickly, and when she talks with Ryan, she discovers that he knows too. She tells him that she’s always there for him and on his side, but gives him a chance to have some space while he takes everything in.

Also, how about the part when Duk Mi finds Ryan at the gallery wallowing in his own pain? She’s there for him even when he doesn’t ask for it.

This is one of the reasons why this couple is so amazing. Duk Mi respects Ryan’s feelings and gives him the space he needs to process his big discovery. It’s a moment that shows maturity in the relationship and one that’s total couple goals. It’s true love, y’all.

2. Eun Gi and Duk Mi being friends again

After Eun Gi (Ahn Bo Hyun) reveals his feelings for Duk Mi, it’s difficult for them to be friends again. But when they both run into each other, they decide to have a few drinks together. Eun Gi tells Duk Mi that they can pretend to go back to what they were before he told her about his feelings.

Seeing these two sibling-like friends laugh and bicker with each other again felt so good. It was heartbreaking seeing Eun Gi look at Duk Mi so longingly, but it’s the best-case scenario for both of them!

3. Ryan telling his mom that he’s her long-lost son

In last week’s episodes, Cha Si An’s (ONE) mother makes an appearance and it’s later found that his mother is Lee Sol and that Ryan’s mother is also Lee Sol. It’s obviously an emotional discovery and it had us all pretty shocked.

This part was amazing because Ryan is finally able to have closure. He’s able to find out who his mother is and that his real brother is, in fact, Cha Si An. I loved how they didn’t drag this part of the story out nor reveal it so early on in the series. Everything seems to have led up to this point pretty naturally, and unlike other K-dramas that can get boring towards the end, this one has done a great job of keeping it interesting.

4. Finding out Ryan’s mom didn’t abandon him and seeing the final painting

Ryan finds out from his mom that she had gotten in a terrible accident and wasn’t able to look after Ryan because of it. There’s a sense of relief, but he’s obviously still upset considering what he knew about his past for his entire life was false. But when he sees the final painting in his mom’s collection, he’s able to really forgive and understand his mom.

Ryan discovers that the source of inspiration for all of his mom’s paintings was him. This is a beautiful scene because it’s the perfect puzzle piece into mending the relationship between Ryan and his mom.

5. “I love you.”

When it’s Duk Mi’s birthday and she wants Ryan to draw her, he’s nervous because he hasn’t been able to draw anything for years. But then he sees Duk Mi’s silhouette on the canvas, and he’s able to draw. After Ryan draws Duk Mi, he’s so overwhelmed with emotion that he can’t help but express his feelings for her. The two say “I love you” for the first time.

This whole scene is just so dang poetic and moving. From the drawing to Ryan taking the paintbrush out of her hair and the soft kisses – everything is perfect. As far as “I love you” scenes go in the K-drama world, this one is definitely up there as being one of the more epic ones.

Yeah, the article said he was a newly-emerged kissing master or something like that, but even way back during Antique the actor who played his lover already attested to his kissing skills.  (Also, what is that outfit, Jae Wook?!)

They need to create an actress list, surely PMY would be number 1 hehe I love how KJW has just shot to number 2 mainly because of this drama. The kisses really are too good 

 

If I were to nit pick at the list, I might take out SIG and slot in Lee Min Ho cos his kisses are always pretty epic too, then that would make it 4 out of 5 actors who've acted with PMY
