I've seen other clips of HB arriving at the airport before, and he's usually very friendly with the reporters and fans when it comes to receiving fan gifts and just standing casually for photos (he even smiled and bowed to greet), but in the clip of him and SYJ going to Mongolia, he seemed pretty...annoyed? :)) Poor guy.

 

On a different note, I love the thought of HB protecting SYJ and may be secretly communicating with her manager/staff to coordinate the situation though (may not be true but I can dream). 

Why it's more easy to get Hollywood Star's photo than Korean Actress or Actor? I meant Just Jared gives us many pict from Hollywood Star at gasoline or at coffee shop. Maybe that's because most of Hollywood star life in LA. And life must go on and they finally  maybe acting to ignore the paparazzi .But it's hard to get Korean star get their daily activity  picture, right? I'm just wondering why. But doesn't meant I want HB and SYJ get harsh or annoyed by paparazzi. No!

 

Smile, laughter, and love are contagious. Saw their BTS make me more realized something happened with them  No matter what the crew, the another cast or their agency said the opposite.

Just finished reading 20+ something pages SYJ's thread starting on 601 and Wow! Thank you so much Cybertron, FirstAid, VivianWww, thi2018, kynnngsoonim and others more that I forgot. I vicariously experienced how to be a shopper from all your posts. It was so funny that all of you were all shocked when the first dating rumors broke out. Most of you were like shipping her with KNG or JHI and boom! HB was like: sorry guys she's all mine . 

I love that most YJ fans almost instantly shipped them together, stating that they are super compatible: in looks, wealth, stature in the K-ent industry and most importantly in their attitudes and goals in life. 

One important thing that I surmised from all my data gathering was that, technically, since January 2019, they must have been spending a lot of time together. Both of them have no projects from January to May (CLOY confirmation) and they were so secretive during the months after the grocery shopping and before the filming of CLOY. They were several offers, aside from CLOY, for YJ but none of them materialized. Meanwhile, HB was there patiently waiting until his wishes come true and that is "to act again with YJ in a melodrama or rom-com so that he "can try acting with her in the same space, making eye contact and breathing the same air"  This quote will always make me smile and giggle and think that HB read this from some romance novel or something, it is soo cheesy but sooo romantic!) And of course from August to Sept 2019 they were all shooting together. 

So anyways, that's just my takeaway from the first 25 pages of my reading. They have no projects separately, and out of sight mostly from fans and media... so I therefore conclude that they were with each other and having some Netflix and chill or maybe eating some Ramen

@ncly the shoot in Jeju is after Mongolia. They went to Jeju in October after Few days they returned from Mongolia. 
 

@loveintheair you can get the timeline in Crash Landing Drama Forum. There are detailed post about the separation timeline. Or you can just rewatch that episode again and calculate in detail based on their scripts. 
 

@Sukma Anggraini it’s because in Korea those paparazzi news portal will send their evidence to the artists agency first before revealing any news. So most news came out from the portal like Dispatch or Sport Seoul has been ‘filtered’ by the agencies. That’s why we cannot get scoop like Hollywood.

Hello BinJin Shippers,

I have just finished reading all 324 pages of this thread and would first like to thank you all for many hours of pure delight, laughter and heart throb. Your observations and deductive powers are truly impressive! I see stress and distress amongst many shippers over the dating denials and thought to offer you some comfort on that:

1.       We are assuming that our definition of “dating” and HB/SY/Vast/MStream’s definition of dating are the same. They may not be. To us, dating means a couple spending time together to further a relationship. To them, it may mean arranging to meetup at restaurants and go to movies, i.e. conventional dating. This is something that they simply cannot do because the media are constantly hounding them. So when they say they are not dating, it doesn’t mean they are not spending private time together. In fact, I believe that they DO meet in each other’s home, safe from prying eyes. How lovely.

2.       Dating is carving out pockets of time to enable the man and woman to meet and know each other better. HB/SYJ don’t need to date because their work schedules have kept them in each other’s circle at least since mid-2017 till now - TN, re-shoot of TN, Vogue, TN promo, LA, CLOY. They possibly spent more time together in the past 2 years than apart!

3.       The authorship of the various denials appear different and may not be from HB and SYJ personally. The texts don’t have the same tone. Maybe they did the first ones and after that, company execs wrote them and you know, employees sometimes go overboard just to show the Boss that they can be tough.

4.       The reason for issuing denials may have nothing to do with HB/SYJ’s private relationship but instead relates to their careers and future work in an unforgiving, Korean showbiz environment. There may be legal obligations to investors not to formalize reports on personal relationships when work is pending. My personal belief is that HB/Vast’s denials are primarily to protect SYJ. We know the sad truth that a woman’s status and position in the workplace can be a fragile thing. Years of hard work can be quickly undone by loose talk. And from this thread, it seems Korean fans are particularly possessive of their actors, which compounds an already stacked deck against SYJ.

5.       In conclusion, MStream’s dating denial is a career necessity for SYJ for the time being. Vast’s denials are not an act of rejection but rather, HB’s act of loyalty & care for SYJ.

On the subject of BTS indicators of a more-than-close-friendship, the ones I feel compelling are:

(i)                  Holding each other after the scene where RJH gets shot on the airport road: They naturally slipped into holding each other like a lock and key.

(ii)                The interlocking fingers: SYJ being an independent, outspoken woman could easily have avoided this. Instead, she responded by locking her fingers with his and even did a little dance with HB.

(iii)               The reunion-paragliding scene: Despite the Director’s “Cut”, HB smilingly held her and dragged her away and she was happy to go along, as you would notice that she straightened her two legs, making the drag-and-carry easier to do. Shared intimacy and laughter and to hell with the Director’s orders.

(iv)              The hospital bed scene: When he discovers his mistake in interrupting her lines, he puts his hand onto her forearm and leans his entire left body on hers! And she holds HB’s head for a good 5-6 seconds and plays with his hair!

Think about the above. Mere close friends wouldn’t do them as it could easily give rise to confused messaging and awkwardness. Couples on the other hand, cant help themselves. Remember how many have said that HB is more demonstrative of his feelings toward SYJ, whereas she is harder to read and more restrained? Well, think again about i-iv above. She was a relaxed and fully participating partner in the lovey-doveyness and though unspoken, they were BIG statements from SYJ that said, “This is beyond a buddy relationship. This is a couple’s relationship”.

So, fellow shippers, there are TONS of rational reasons to be hopeful and optimistic about BinJin! On this, I’d like to add something on anti-shippers and heavy doubters. This thread is not a soapbox in the park where anyone can stand up there and assert their freedom of speech to say whatever they like. This shipping thread is a specialized forum for like-minded people who adore BinJin and have hopes for this couple. If you don’t think BinJin can make it or doubt it so much that it becomes tantamount a non-ship, express your thoughts in a different forum. Why come into this thread and rain on everyone’s parade? It’s like peeing in someone else’s pool. It’s gross, wholly inappropriate and has a mean streak to it, i.e. wanting to dampen the joy of others. Not a nice thing to do, so please respect the purpose of this shipper’s thread and its shippers. Of course, genuine shippers can go beserk too (e.g. the hand under table disaster taught us all a good lesson to be more discerning) but I can sympathise with them more than I can anti-shippers speaking here.

Finally, despite my CLOY withdrawal symptoms, in a way I am glad there is this hiatus of news from BinJin. It is a downtime for them to regroup, steady the mind and perhaps assess their feelings in order to take the next step. How ghastly if during this delicate process, they are pressured to decide quickly. At their age, both are keenly aware of their own “marry at 40 preference”, so that is pressure enough to flatten an entire city. Let’s be patient, bite the bullet for our BinJin meanwhile and just continue to send them love and wish them the very best. They share a common group of close friends whom I’m certain would be on standby to support them too.

I know shipping has risks, like something may be announced tomorrow that will torpedo everything said here but heck, until that happens, I remain upbeat about BinJin being in a love relationship. I am hugely glad there are fellow shippers who feel the same and are rooting for our Couple Extraordinaire. Ships are safest in the harbor (being overly-cautious) but that’s not what they are built for. Let’s give each other courage to sail the high seas with BinJin!!

I believe that CLOY is a gift they made for their beloved fans.  Jinnie is a nice gift for HB and so Bennie is. They dèinitely are a "made from heaven-down to earth" couple. 
Huhu words can't explain enough my love for Binjin. I spent almost of my free time rewatching tons of TN, CLOY related photos, videos and.... . Love BinJin and love my fellow shippers/shoppers

Have you guys ever imagine our RiRi couple in other movies and think like - -

Today on the train back home, my Spotify playlist randomly played  "She by Elvis Costello".

 

When i heard the song, i thought of  the movie "Notting Hill", particularly this scene . 

 

In the scene, the reporter asked JR' character "how long will you be staying in England?", to which responds "indefinitely".

 

Then, cut to HG and JR gaze each other lovingly and the movie ends with the wedding!

 

How perfect it would be for us, the shippers if they were to remake this movie cuz we will get to witness a wedding scene YAY.. (if they are not going to make their REAL wedding public lol) 

 

HB is just perfect for the nerdy book store owner character and YJ as a Super Star actress (her real self lol) 

 

Its pretty close to the Captain Ri and Seri characters as well....urgh!!

My very simple estimation of the timeline :

- JH's text messages to SR ended in 1 year (cuz of the mobile phone limitation) = 1 year

- SR started the scholarship for young musicians to Switzerland, that took 1 year bfr SR visited Swiss but didn't meet JH = 1 year

- SR went again the next year before she met JH = 1 year

Total = 3 years

 

There was no report of HB leaving the MOA wrap-up party early - I read it from fans comments somewhere, but can't recall where I saw it. Also, made a mistake about the date, it should be 30 Dec 2018, and not 31 Dec 2018.

1st year = during the arrangement text

2nd year = she went to Switzerland with black leather jacket

3rd year = when she wore dress and thought find JH playing piano 

4th year = when she paragliding and finally she meets him...

 

LIKE WOWWWW but then again its the only thing that keep Seri sane.. waiting for him..

 

This is why i love their relationship so much...

I assumed that after SR searched for JH while wearing the dress, she went paragliding in the same trip (to get over her disappointment of not meeting JH again). And when she landed, JH appeared. Hence 3 years instead of 4 years lol!

Maybe on the sexy scale (both are hawttttt) and they are good in action roles, should I look at it objectively.

This was actually part of the long post I drafted earlier, but if anyone has watched the red carpet videos of Brad and Angelina for that movie (I remembered this because I was looking forward to watch the movie back then so I watched the red carpet videos, and I actually went to the cinema to watch it!), Brad and Angelina actually avoided each other during the premiere and actually maintained cordial, almost civil-like interactions during the event. When everyone knewwwww something was amiss by then.

 

So, in a way, there is a parallel with BinJin somewhat. Teeheheheheeee...

I like the idea of 3 years of separation that adds with 7 years since they first met so it took them 10 years to reach the final destination
