Vast & MSteam are trolling us again like their bosses have been trolling us for the past 2 years. At this point I don’t know if I should continue to act like I don’t know about them and be surprised once the announcement comes our stop acting so that they can stop trolling us.

SIX MONTHS after the finale, CLOY is still ranking Top 10 in many countries. In Japan, it's still at #1 after 5 months (it went to #2 a few days and then back to #1). 

 

Btw, we have just OFFICIALLY passed the 6-mths Condolence period for CLOY (it's already Aug 15 SK time). But don't think any of us have got over CLOY yet, based on these rankings haha!!

Yes to everything you said 100%. After watching shows or movies I like, I sometimes look up actors in them that intrigue me. I hardly ever follow any of them. I’m just curious how they are IRL. Yejin is just so natural. Her instagram account is indeed so refreshing. Social media accounts of other celebrities, both in Korea and from everywhere in the world, are just mostly filled with so much shameless self-promotion. While other celebrities are all: look at me, I’m beautiful, Yejin’s just showing that she’s enjoying her life, being goofy, and that she’s a normal human being.

I also love that HB doesn’t have social media. I love his ahjussi personality actually!! I can imagine him being all social media illiterate and cracking dad jokes. LOL! I feel like unlike other celebrities, he’s not at all full of himself despite his success and fame. Best boy HB indeed!

This is not the right translation! “왔다 갔다” is the part they’re translating to “back and forth.” But that phrase in this context just means they “came and left/went” or even “stopped by.” Basically they were only there once. Haha. I did correct the poster by commenting on their post, but it looks like news travels fast 

I feel like a bearer of bad news when I come and make translation corrections, but I just don’t want people to be hopeful with the wrong things. 

Good news is, they've eaten at multiple places together because they told us with their own words and there have been confirmed sightings.

No, I am glad you did! I would hate for inaccurate accounts to be repeated in the media and for HB/SYJ to deny.

I find this interview with YJ about her dual role in The Classic very interesting. She did this interview with the movie's director Kwak Jae Yong in 2017, which is 14 years after the movie's airing (not sure what event this was). YJ was so courageous and hungry/ passionate about acting even at that young age at 20 years old, that she asked to play both roles. 

 

Another interesting part of the interview is the director mentioning that YJ is more like Ji-hye ie the daughter's role and YJ agreed with him. In the film, Ji-hye was a pretty direct and spontaneous person, and also dare to take action (eg. she tried to get closer to the guy she likes ie JIS and confessed to him). This really does remind me of YJ, at least the little that I can see from various interviews and her friend's sharing like GHJ, HB etc.

@Peony22 I was the same way too until about July (?)  when HB left for Jordan. My cure--- Dinner Mates. Before anyone tells to delete my post, let me say that there is a BINJIN and CLOY connection. The leads are Song Seung-Heon (Summer Scent w. SYJ), and Seo Ji-Hye (Dan in CLOY and HB"s costar in "Rampant"). There are also a couple CLOY references and aside from Ji-hye, Yoon Se-ri  Asst is also in this drama. 

I'm still shipping BINJIN but now I'm also shipping the DM couple. Lots of similarities btw. LOL. Stay safe, ALL!

Please read through the thread as a  lot of wonderful things are said about HB from people he had worked with, not just his leading ladies like Kim Sun Ah and Ha Ji Won, but from supporting actors he has worked with. Not exactly. The Korean alphabet for foreign words with no direct translation relies on the closest sounds the word makes. 하이드 지킬, 나 is the korean title. 나  is the Korean way to refer to ones self.   "ha-i-deu ji-ki-l, na".

If they were referring to the characters alone then it might make sense but the characters aren't real so it would weird to give them titles like Hyde-ah.
