Ok so this is my first time signing in for a drama since Reply1988 

 

Soompi please help me with this drama

 

Can someone explain to me HOW and WHY someone is required to go with LR with the other half of the manpajiseok for LR to be punished forever? Explain like i’m 5. 

I have a hard time understanding episode 15 as a whole. Is the LR in episode 15 different from the LR we’ve been seeing since episode 1? When JTE interrogated LR in ep 15, what is the connection to the first scene in ep 1? 

 

I can’t understand this part. I was really confused and I trust the brainpower in here. Holy moly 800+ pages.

So before I forget to say all of this, I wish to communicate a big thank to everyone here as well as the cast/crew of TKEM, and writer KES: 

 

 

Never in my life have I ever watched a movie/show or read a book that forced me to use the knowledge I had obtain throughout my life experiences as well as knowledge gained through my academic career in order to understand it. I am glad that I found TKEM because it lead me to meeting all of you guys and engaging in so many conversations whether they be silly ones or ones of an analytical nature !

 

For me, TKEM came at the right time since in February I had just lost my grandmother who had lived with me my entire life and left me feeling utterly devastated since it felt that I had lost my parent and my guide. What TKEM did for me was offer me a sense of escape from the now that I was feeling. It help me heal and help me realize that moments that I shared with my grandma never died, but continued to live on in me as I proceed to go on with each step of my life !

 

In some ways, what made WDH's character appealing to me (beside his great looks lol) was that I saw a lot of myself in his portrayal of both JY and ES. JY's character reminded me of who I was before I found/experienced love while in ES's character he had represented the me during the time in my life where I was eternally optimistic about everything before life's many stresses and problems came flying at me lol. So in a lot of sense, the characters in TKEM could represent the you at some different moments in your own life ! 

 

The relationship between LG and JTE is quite beautiful if you think about. To have found a love that transcends everything from time, dimensions, space, and reality is truly an epic kind of love. I hope that in my life I will never have to experience all that those two had to endure/overcome, but for now it just makes me thankful I have found my other half in this space and time lol. 

 

So again, I want to thank all of you here for all the moments we have shared and I want to thank TKEM's cast/crew/writer KES for giving us a show that impacted our own perceptions and life in general. 

 

It's never truly a goodbye, but its more of I hope to see you all later!

I've played the hospital scene over and over again. She went from hitting/manhandling him to being “girlish & babyish” wanting him to feed her. As someone commented on IG; she could punch Luna but she can't pick up a spoon…. Aww JTE… What a journey it has been.

 

I won't mind seeing some “hitting and manhandling” in the finale though

Hello and welcome. You’ve got questions and you’ve come to the right place 

 

1) To time travel, both halves of the flute must be separated but present in the portal at the same time. We were shown in episode 14. Only LR can open his portal because the flute only answers to him and someone must go with him otherwise, he will not cooperate. Therefore, it was planned that SJ would escort LR. Unfortunately, JTE caught on to the plan and is now forcing SJ to give up the flute so she can replace him. 
 

2) LR in episode 15 is the LR we saw in the opening scene of episode 1 but is not the same LR we have seen onwards. He is not the LR who went back in time and got killed in episode 14. LR in episode 15 is the one who killed himself. He killed himself and grew up with the memory that if he travels back to meet himself in 1994, he will die. So he avoided death by not traveling back this time. 
 

3) The interrogation in episode 15 happens after the interrogation in episode 1. Episode 15 circles back to the beginning of episode 1.

You can only travel with the flute when it's whole not half that is why both LG and LL travelled back to 94 because it happened on a night where they both were inside the inbetween. You need a whole flute to time-travel.

 

If you mean episode 1 as in 94 LL who wanted to kill his nephew the answer is both yes and no. 

 

Yes: Because it is LL just in the past LL 

 

No: Because that is not the future LL but his past self so when he travels back in time you have 2 LL one from the future and one from the past

I was rewatching some episodes and I think Ep9 was it, where she was having a late night meeting with LG with the ES as JY and the whole Kimchi ppl. Lol. 

 

I find PM Koo really blalant. She just ask LG, the King of her country a very personal question and so out of the blue... About the "foreign traveller" aka JTE. I love how LG straight come back at her asking her if work is that boring. Hahahaha. And the nerve of her asking again if he is getting married. And LG immediately snapped back. 

 

I just feel so satisfy with how LG responded. Lol. LMH has improve his acting. He as LG, gives a different vibe and wears a different mask with ppl he is cautious about. He always have this authority-I-am-King mask when aiming his guards n this PM, but in front of JTE... He basically just melts. 

 

This is what we need from every boyfriend out there. Just give the cold shoulder, for God sake!

I don't know how many times I witnessed relationships that were broken, simply because of the third party. And it started with small talk and body language that could've been stopped if you're firm from the very beginning. (omg too serious..too serious..)

 

anyway, I love Jung Eun Chae in this portrayal. Let's be able to distinguish her role from herself. She is really pretty imo.

I use to backtrack alot but I gave up on it after couple of weeks I now only backtrack max 5 pages to see where the thread is going. Seems like I have lost out on alot will probably backtrack few weeks after the drama has ended when the thread slows down a bit

Another question for clarification: Why is there a chance of whoever going with LR with the flute to disappear forever? What exactly do they plan to happen once LR plays the flute.. like what is the goal of time travelling again? To redo the scene of the night of the coup to stop LR?

 

Sorry for the questions lol ive just been confused but want to understand as much as I can before finishing this drama
