  1. Originally yes but It is an adaption and revised we also had Hansu film in these 6 months nonestop. Which means there is alot of screentime. I also believe Pachinko has alot of seasons I think perhaps 4 seasons or perhaps 3 and. It is a generational story and in order to cover it multiple seasons is needed. Hansu is the lead actor in 1st season and reoccuring in the second and his not in the 3 season. He dies somehwere in the second season where the 3rd generation films 3rd season. The main female lead also dies in second season
  2. Apple+ is award motivated mostly and both titles seems to be intended for targetting awards. Min Je Lee's Pachinko is highly acclaimed book and then you bring in Parasite director to also throw in his hat into another series which indicts both are geared towards awards. Apple+ has also been winning most awards with their originals. I hope LMH gets a golden Globe award for Hansu
  3. I haven't revealed much but you can always go and check it out but I would advise against but nonethless it's entirely on you
  4. You are not missing out on much currently but I guess during september-october there will be big releases you wanna re-sub at that period. The only release recently was Sky Rojo and it was a massive failure. It couldn't live up to vis-a-vis or Money Heist it was hyped up as the next big spanish hit. Geolocation wise it was also a mess. We are suppose to be on an island off the coast of Morocco there is not much space to be driving around that much because you are not on the main land in Spain or Morocco.. I lost a brain cell watching that and to many hookers everywhere
  5. I came across this hilarious picture of LMH transformed into a female but weird enough as a guy I can confirm that his absolute strongest points has transfered well from a guy to female. His undeniable gifts are his eyes but they transfered even to his photoshopped female version. Strange! He could have functioned as a great actress as-well. These cheecky eyes says more then words. Like a girl who knows one or two things.. Just the extremely playfulness and checkiness has transfered quite well
  6. There is also a dutch edition of the Panorama Magazine it is based in Italy, Milan and one of the oldest film magazine from 1939. Lee Min Ho is slowly recognized across the continent. It is just hard to not notice the man. With all that fanfare, noise and success. His worthy of knighthood and I have no doubt that he will recieve one of these from the french art ministry in the coming years
  7. Well noted with the recommandation. I have watched Money Flower previously. But I dropepd My country. I saw it when it aired and it had alot of hype but it somehow didn't ignite chemistry between the leads and it had recognizable names on the cast Jang Hyuk, Seolhyun and Woo Do-Hwan. I know JH was not the lead but I was unfamiliar with the ML Yang se-jong they should have switched between him and Woo Do-Hwan. The bromance didn't quite do it for me nor the romance. The story itself was to vast. I like Seolhyun and Woo Do-Hwan. I agree JH was awesome in his part. You shouldn't have
  8. Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Yes I agree but the director is being also humble here as it was truly enjoyable for me but I noticed straight away the potential. I actually liked the concept and dress styling they gave JH in this series. They gave him that cool awesome vibe look. Like someone who has been thru all and done everything and some sort of illusionist trickester look. The romantic aspect is what it lacked especially between the leads as I wanted something between JH's character and Jin Seo-Yeon character. That is really the only place for me that I would have added on but as far
  9. Yes. I decided to come out of lurking. thanks for the reply both of you. I will send it individually as mentioned
  10. @Biology Lesson I have read about it and it seems like a major uproar and JH dodged a big time bullet with that one and I would even say he dodged something bigger then a bullet but a train. I feel sort of sorry for the actors involved who get caught in between the firestorm. Controversy gates of this magnitude are hazardous for careers. I recently watched the swordsman I liked both JH and Joe Taslim and last year I catched tell me what you saw. I wanna touch little bit on tell me what you saw it had potential imho and was good series. Jin Seo-Yeon is underrated actress. There was
  11. How are you doing milady? Will the letter be collectively writen or will we individually send one letter
  12. I had that data and predicted it right but it even did better then I predicted and including the social media and everything else. It also had staying power on the platform apparently. Honestly speaking his one of the biggest actors in the world working today. It may not be visible yet to many but for trackers like me it is not. Maybe 2-3 years from now it would become common knowledge but his already there just few actors ahead of him on the world stage such as The Rock, Rayn Reynolds, Jason Mamoa, Keanu Reaves and very few minority. His definitely in the top 10 biggest actors wor
  13. It is an adaption first of all and while most of the other characters not casted who would have been major. They selectively chose 6 characters. In 8 episodes and Hansu himself is a major character in the novel. Don't expect literal translation from the novel this is an adaption And Lee Min Ho is definitely the lead in the Korea-Japan period timeline of the book
  14. I loved Gangnam Blues and City Hunter. For pure violence Gangnam Blues was a marvel especially the mud scene. I watch alot of action films and honestly that is one of the best action sequences I have ever seen and that is rich coming from me. They really went at it. City hunter had also epic action none-stop but the storyline coupled with the action scenes is what made it so great
  15. He already has male audience but not as many as example female audience due to genre and both genres are good imo. He can do them both nothing wrong in that to keep his audience like you and nikaa. I think he would personally find it much easier in these genres that gears more towards action since his the type of guy men actully wanna be and girls admire. So it's easy for him to find a good junk of audience with them rather easily. He has male fans from City Hunter, GB etc etc they post even here some of them like me and few others. Btw I am very excited for Pachinko. I love his
  16. That is to far out imo. He could technically have another announcement again but I don't think it would be another drama tho. I just don't see any benefit for him doing another drama again so soon after Pachinko. There is so much more to explore in films specifically Netflix with larger audience he could find there an audience bigger then his K-drama audience. He needs to target new demographic in action genre film. Like me a male audience and if ventures into that world he would find audience in us since he has name recognition it would be easy for him to succeed
