Nope nope

SW is too precious for that cunning girl.

She's just wanna make SJ jealous. And then make him want to divorce JS.

Anyone know that she is a cunning girl.

That cunning girl,  i just want to know what your ending is.

If she's trying to push the divorce by mentioning SW - it may backfire on her. Ha

All what I want is for NJS to win. I was getting so worried thinking of Abba's song, the Winner Takes it All, aka, the SJ, VP and his daughter Yuri taking it all. Now, I am thinking NJS and team will take it all because they are top notch on what they do. And I hope for NJS will forget about that sorry marriage that brought her nothing but heartache and betrayal.

me too i really want to see NJS be the winner.

i think NJS has a thought that best way to start to take PSJ down is beat the prestige team. really curious how she do it? 3 episode left is it enough to see it?

btw i like njs proposal about black society, gosh she just made it in one night...

Yes...now let the battle at work beging.

That little annoyed Yuri...she was and is jealous of JS from the beginning...I really hope our queen wins at work and at her life and shows this little human been that by stealing someone else life it has not a happy end. Get those 3 out of work. Let the magic brain of our queen JS works wonder and fullfil her work at top and quick out those 3.

So we have one more week? Episodes 15 and 16? And they have created two teams to compete?

I have a bad feeling it will be an all rushed last episode. We won't get to see YR dumping SJ or SJ cheating on YR. Maybe SW asks JS out for a drink? No, no JS must leave that company or those three must go.

If SJ and Yuri are still together in the end, I want the same exact scenario like when SJ & JS did groceries together last time and SJ made eye contact with Yuri.

Just that this time Yuri is JS and there's a new girl standing there, and SJ still flirts. JS can be seen watching this, she is with her 2 kids and husband and she just smile.

SJ is still this loser and Yuri going to be cheated on by him this time lol.

And also show the VP still treat SJ like his loyal dog, no self respect and or pride at all <_<.

It has been obvious that SW has a soft spot for JS. It doesn't have to be romantic love, it could just be basic respect and awe. I don't know what to expect about the ending though. I don't want NJS to turn into a vengeful person, but so far SJ doesn't demonstrate qualities for reconciliation either. Even if we do get a happy ending with NJS and SJ together again, won't this betrayal still be hanging behind their backs?

I am betting on Daniel's company. He will certainly empathize with her and he also respects her and her ability to get the job done.

More ranting from today's episode coming right up!

6 hours ago, maribella said:

Throughout the show, SW has been the awkward, bumbling rookie. If they need to make him a responsible, mature, trustworthy etc. it should have been earlier. Like in my prettiest daughter.

SW's character has only taken some importance in the umbrella scene episode 13.

@KDramaLogic  with Mr.Sunshine, it was cops and robbers, war and peace, I would be ready for a heartbreak especially when there would be bravery under fire. But can you expect this show to go from A to Z, anyway X, giving prime screen time to a two-timing creep and also his tart? If they bring SW to the fore, how much can his character be developed in an episode or two when there are HA's, MN's and corporate shenanigans' as well?

Pox take her/him.

Of course, @maribella, given the horrendous historical account of the Japanese occupation of Korea, I knew that Mr. Sunshine was bound to have tragic (and unjust) deaths of (some, if not all) the beloved characters. Still for the ending (do NOT read the spoilers if you have not watched the ending and do not want to be spoiled):

Spoiler

I can't help but think that Choi Eugene could have carefully backed the Japanese into the train compartment carrying the explosives (I think...it's been a year since I watched that drama), throw his Japanese hostage in that compartment, and get into the other compartment with Lady Aeshin and the rebels/passengers while severing the connection between those compartments before the explosion. That's why I initially reacted to that part of the ending with the Pulp Fiction "Say what again!" gif out of shock.

Nonetheless, I understood (and cried with Aeshin :tears:) at the magnitude of the sacrifice Choi Eugene made for Aeshin and the nation that had forsaken him and his family due to their slave status).

Back to the VIP drama: As @2good2btru (and any other Soompier I didn't see or credit) mentioned, I honestly feel the screenwriter (and director?) didn't properly give enough episodes for SJ to start becoming "evil" (or, in an alternative take, start his path of redemption with JS). So I've no idea how to suspend my disbelief over this drama's "A-to-Z" trajectory; I'm really becoming as disillusioned with this drama as JS is with her 10-year marriage to a blank, two-faced SJ.

As for SW, I don't think even he sees himself as JS's potential partner. He, like the other VIP team members, admire and respect JS for putting up with his "bumbling" (in)competency with straightforward but kind patience. SW himself is admirable for choosing not to disclose, let alone use, his family background to shirk his work responsibility or take unfair credit/promotion in the VIP team.

Yes, @TaenGanGer Lee. This VP has been hell-bent from the start to discredit JS and the VIP team. Now he's recruiting his "prestigious team" with YR and SJ to take away the VIP team's potential AND current customers, perhaps even the Black Diamond members.

Come on SW; now really is the time to use your "valuable asset": your father, the foreign minister (not your Alpaca fortuneteller senses or art of seduction, though they may come in handy for the JS/VIP team victory party :sweatingbullets:).

from tonight episode i just can see nothing left from njs to psj except angry and disgusting feeling.. angry because psj and yuri make new team and take over all their jobs.. and disgusting that he did it because he cheat her. it means he even let all her friend going to jobless. njs must see 3 of them (VP,SJ, Yuri) as one. the vp want to demoted her but failed and now they trying to attack her friends too. its cool seeing how njs fight back for her friends with the idea of black society and give it to CEO

Honestly, what p***es me off is that he was ready to mend his broken marriage just a few episodes ago. If he was so infatuated with YR and she made him lose grip- why not just end things with your wife quietly when she first discovered the affair and go back to your horsefaced b**** after things has cooled down.

Marriages break down but to be this awful and cruel to someone you’ve loved for 10years- that says a lot about you as a person. I’m so pissed ya’ll. Like I don’t think one slap cuts it- JS needs to beat them both behind the dumpster. Heck, she should’ve just taken care of the which when they were on the roof.

I am beginning to lose hope that SJ can be redeemed. :(

This drama started out so well. There was a feeling of mystery and a conspiracy seemed likely. I thought there could be more to this drama than "just an affair". With each episode that passes, I am starting to wonder more and more how the writer is going to wrap this all up... SJ has just been showing worse and worse qualities after episode 10. He really is pushing JS away, isn't he?

I'm gonna be really sad (and a tad bit angry) if this whole drama really was just about an affair.

Yes, Daniel's business is in the US. That's why I see what @vinsensa_1 who astutely said, they will have a higher than VIP group and make it become international VIPs. This is when SW's father will come in along with Daniel.

it look like the company selling is decrease because the sex harrasment scandal. from the dramamilk recap VP and CEO have different opinion abt how to keep the selling point after the scandal. VP still targeting VIP consumer inside country, but CEO has diff thought, i can understand because the CEO previously worked in big success company outside the country, so she targeting consumer outside the country. After the announcement of prestigious team that take over VIP team work, i think CEO make a new team that will be headed by NJS and NJS off course put all her friend in vip team which not used by prestigious team anymore. they totally make a new team head by yuri and SJ. so there is a meeting between CEO team and prestigious team as we seen in end scene of epi 13? So they are there to prove who has better solution for the company? VP or CEO?

gosh, i like this battle of 2 team, having sad seeing how stress NJS because of SJ cheating, this battle like give me fresh air. LoL. most important people will see NJS is more bold than SJ or yuri, as we see in many cases for vip team, njs always came with better solution when they facing problems.

The cheating couple are so selfish and despicable. Now even Hyun Ah, Mi Na and Sang Woo- people who are actually  good and qualified for their jobs are having to suffer the fallout because of the trash.

Thanks so much for this! I have been looking for a netizen's reaction translation site since melohwa was shut down.  The reactions are so funny. The K-netz hate them as much as we do (and are as baffled by LSY's one note acting as I am ).  Glad to see so much love for Jang Nara. she is amazing in this drama!

He wasn't ever truly trying to fix his marriage. He just felt guilty and didn't want himself or Yuri to get caught. Fixing the marriage would mean prioritising his marriage and not one single time in this drama did SJ show that his marriage was a priority to him.  The despicable, cowardly way he has treated JS since he got caught shows exactly the type of person he is and how little his marriage meant to him.

Tell me one time this snake made an actual effort to save his marriage. If he really wanted to fix the marriage he would not have been lying to JS since episode 1; if really wanted to fix it he would not have allowed his unqualified sideho to work in an office right under his wife's nose and watched straight-faced whilst his innocent spouse goes out of her way to be kind and helpful to the richard simmons he's been screwing behind her back; he would have cut all contact with the sly crybaby and told the VP to assign her elsewhere; he would have come clean about everything to JS; he would have stopped lying to JS; he would not have covered up for Yuri's underhanded actions; he would have been there for JS when JS needed him and not run to be the VP's bumboy and crybaby Yuri's snot rag everytime she whimpered,

Heck, this feeble selfish waste of space didn't even bother to do the bare minimum and block his mistress on his mobile. How are you going to say it's over and still have your sidechick saved on your phone (and go running every time she texts or calls you)?<_<

If my guess is write by the way the script is going, the take down revenge will happen during 13 & 14, any doubt or concern or regret will probably start around 15.  He will be watching his wife before that with concernt but wont start regretting anything till the.

Episode 16 My guess will be mop up and after seeing how much of a hole he dug himself into, he steps away from yrui (which i still beleive in his mind he thinks he is supporting her during a crisis period, something he felt he couldnt do properly for his wife).  Realising how much damage he has down either throws himself under the buss to save his wife or signs the divorce papers to free her from the mess he dragged her into.

But if you are areally going to do revenge the other party needs to suffer, and sorry but yuri needs to go through ALOT of pain yet.  There also needs to be backlash on her from CEO park as well to rub it in when he starts feeling the heat as well.

By the end of EP13, I REALLY don't want a happy ending for YR and SJ. JS keeps referring them as DIRTY and it really suits them. I can't remember the last time I've been so mad over kdrama.

At first, YR sent the message because she is jealous of JS personality and competency and also the fact that there is nothing between her and SJ anymore as they were broken up. She said she felt regret after receiving nothing but kindness from JS when she entered the team but I really cannot believe that because everything she did does not show that she is regretting at all. She just want what she wants and one of it is SJ. All her talk on the rooftop trying to reason with JS for what she did is just sickening. Just like what the VP's wife said to her, YR might get high position at the office due to VP but how can she climbed up to JS reputation that JS built by working hard by herself, not relying to her superior.

I have many things to say about SJ but I can't really get it out. I really can't comprehend what he is trying to do and justify all the things he did. I really want to understand him but I don't think that I am capable to with all that was shown about him up to this point. The rooftop scene and the car scene between him and JH seal the deal that I don't want any happy ending for him. It is never better to be full on evil rather than half evil. You're evil when you start being evil. That's it.

JS really step up her game this episode. She doesn't go full on berserk doing stupid things or exposing SJ to the public. She keeps her dignity and professionalism. Those small moments where SW try to cheer/help her just show how much her subordinate care and respect her. As far as I know, JS does not know that SW knows about things between SJ and YR. She also never outright exposing both SJ and YR except during that lunch meeting with VP. Now, JS starts to play fair with her strength and competency, coming up with her own project plan because she has been sidestepped, VP, SJ and YR will never stand a chance. SJ reputation as the youngest director will crumble plus he never really deserved the promotion he got because he got it through cleaning up VP's mess while JS will climb up with  her own sheer determination and hard work.

Shoutout to the side couples HA & JH and MN & BH because they resolve their differences by talking and trying to understand each other. Major props to BH's growth, from someone who try to escape from taking care of his children to someone who consider resigning to become house husband because he does not want MN to sacrifice her career just shows how much his love for MN is. Scenes of both HA & JH and MN & BH managed to lighten the intense mood in EP13 without downplaying their issues.

Based on the preview of EP14, YR described SJ just like how JS described SJ when they first work together. Someone that is kind and warmhearted. I hope that SJ will leave YR just like how SJ leave JS because I want YR to experience what JS experienced. Or maybe something a whole lot worse such as being labelled as homewrecker by everyone in the company that nothing VP can do to salvage her image. SJ, you do not deserve that longing face when you sees someone else care for SJ. She deserves all the care she receives and you have never been there for her. You just simply do not deserve her anymore.

Somehow i hope that the whole VIP team, lead by JS, leave Sung Un, set up their own company and freelancing to cater the needs of the VIPs, with support by Tifone and SW's father. This way, they don't have to face injustice and can be promoted with their own capabilities and merit. No dirty office politic play. B)
