The FL is likable and easy to feel for. The ML is unfamiliar but he played the evil character in one of the shows I didn’t finish.

Ryu Sun Jae (BWS character) is setting new standards in rom. male leads.

 

 

Its a cliche, but funny, fluffy, light ,cute drama with a touch of emotions and sadness, all well balanced -so far. An enjoyable drama "so far" !

 

 

Not talking abt it more and more and set ur expectations high but

He is very tall. And I like that I am not at all confused by the switches in timelines even when I am not quite focusing.

We're alright, thanks! Area where we live isn't flooded, but some roads nearby our place are still barricaded. The rains stopped from afternoon yesterday. It was literally 2 days non-stop rains and thunderstorms.

Sang Yan's story is even more compelling (for me). I'm hopeful that the drama won't whitewash what FL went through, given that it's slated for 30 eps. I'd rather the adaptation keep it as it is even if the drama might end up with for more matured viewers rating.

I have hundreds of Oppas @rocat ,

But basically, for me, Oppas are like my personal Netflix subscription:

 

I eagerly anticipate their new releases,

I'm absolutely smitten when their drama airs,

I either drop the drama or FF 10× speed if drama of the Oppa is not good,

If its too good 

Am the promotional ambassador of it !

 

I will be already eyeing the next/Another Oppa's drama before the current one ends,

And then it's on to the next drama, the next Oppa, and the next swoon-fest.

 

And if am watching a drama because of the plot and starts loving the character

And I will snatch him to My Oppa list

Actually, the actress who played So Yi in Alchemy of Souls is also in the show. She had a bowl haircut in a period of her character’s high school years … it reminded me of my own when I was a tiny tot.

@partyon Oh my word, Frankly Speaking looks hilarious. Maybe May will be a better month for dramas than the first few months of 2024 have been. And...Eurovision!

BTS, Mr Adventure Boy happily filmed the train ride and tea processing. 🤗

 

 

From early this year, there are posts in IG of Meme with either a fan or guide, posing in front of a van. If I recall correctly, there was a billboard, or if not, a food transport vehicle parked behind the van, painted with an ad for yoghurt. That ad sparked speculations that Meme was in Sri Lanka.

 

Anyone noticed how cinematic the Kirin tea commercial is? And the page for the commercial, the part describing Meme's latest movie? 🤭

 

I certainly saw Meme as Haru in the other train ride of the commercial, LOL!

 

Won't be surprised anymore if TG movie would have glimpses of Kirin products, or that there'll be scenes shot in Sri Lanka. My speculations are that the movie could be about the two years he "disappeared" in TG season 1, and related to the location of the last scene of Haru and Gaku. After all, Sri Lanka doesn't only have tea plantations, the country also has plenty of ports.
