The cast and staff of “Dr. Romantic 2” will be rewarded for their hard work!

On February 17, a source from the drama shared, “A reward vacation to Saipan for three days and four nights departing on February 27 has been confirmed.”

According to SPOTV News, not all actors are able to go on the trip, but many of them are adjusting their schedules to make time for it.

The viewership ratings for “Dr. Romantic 2” have been rising with each new episode, and the drama continues to keep its spot at the top of its time slot.

“Dr. Romantic 2” is coming to an end soon, with its finale scheduled for February 25.

 

Congratulations to the cast and staff!  The Stove League team also went to Saipan for the reward vacation this week too!

That conversation with Chairman Shim's secretary... It was as if KSB will not be joining the dream trauma centre that he proposed to the late Chairman Shim. Maybe his arm is not in a good condition.

 

I think PMG is also a doctor that KSB is scouting for the trauma centre, thus we see him in the auditorium in Ep 1 when PMG was performing the live surgery.

 

I'm extremely curious about Dr Shim. I wonder if she is related to Chairman Shim. I also wonder if she and PMG is dating because she speaks to him quite softly without the cynicism she normally shows at others.

 

Maybe the VIP patient will be the "special" patient in S2 like Chairman Shim in S1. So he will have surgeries involving all the doctors at Doldam.

 

I feel sad for YHJ today. KSB was the only one to ask if he was alright. Maybe instead of my predictions about YAR, YHJ would instead be the one with a bad ending.

OMG I LOVE THIS EP. So firstly, I was amused at how woojin kept taunting Dr Park by making Dr Yang do the surgeries LMAO. "It's not like I went out to find appendicitis patients." LMAO WOOJIN FTW. And HOW CUTE WAS HE when he finally won OMG THAT SMILE AND PEACE SIGN HUEHUE SUPER ADORBS. 

 

ah ofc, we all knew at this point that eunjae's meds weren't really for her nausea lol, ended up being pills that made her even hungrier LOL. her reaction when master kim told her the truth omg she's so cute. BUT at the same time, i'm so proud of her. she has gotten a breakthrough in the OR and doesn't need meds anymore!! YAY and how cute when woojin and eunjae did that op together?! LIKE DAMN EVERYONE could sense the flirting and love in the air man HUEHUE and that "I'll carry you on my back again" LIKE WOAH BROOOOO everyone's reaction had me giggling too cause SAME YALL. 

 

I was quite surprised with Dr Shim's attitude this ep. It made me like her a little this time. Though she is arrogant and haughty, but she is a doctor who does her job, she knew there's a high risk for the patient so she made sure she don't agree to it (unlike dr park and yang who insist on it because it'll give them better credits blah blah blah not caring about the patient at all). 

 

It seemed like Dr Park has already let pride and honor get into his head. Now he isn't doing surgeries for the sake of saving patients, he's doing it for prestige and a whole lot of political stuff sigh. 

 

I see the contrast between doldam family and dr park's team, like doldam staff are literally a FAMILY. compared to dr park's team where everyone has their own interests, not truely caring about one another. but who was that man eavesdropping on dr yang and hyunjoon sunbae's convo???? hmm..

 

THE ENDING THO. woojin signed the contract just to protect master kim?! OMG yOU COULD SEE HOW HEARTBROKEN kim sabu was. woojin crying made me sad too

 

BUT THE PREVIEW THO. I'm optimistic that woojin will not leave in the end, somehow the contract will be void hahahaha. ALSO EUNJAE ASKED HIM NOT TO LEAVE but like the way she said it, it sounds so sad and pleading?! and the way he stared at her when she's like begging him to not leave lIKE BRUH the girl you love is begging you not to leave, DON'T BE HEARTLESS. 

Okay, i'm done here LOL i'll be back tomorrow! can't wait for the latest ep tonight!!!

I kinda hate the writer a bit right now. imo, the latest episode is the most romantic episode. there are alot of heart fluttering scenes in this episodes, even the scene when KSB by telling CEJ the truth about the medicine is so heart fluttering yet funny at the same time. And SWJ put the cherry on top when he called CEJ to the OR, telling her he will carry her on his back (in front of everyone), and he will back up if anything happen... and KSB suddenly very concern with Dr. Yang. i goes like, "awww...". not to forget all the cute scenes like the peace scene, Mr Park and Dr. Yoon scenes, buy me beef scene..

and suddenly the writer dropped the bomb with SWJ need to transfer to another hospital. how could you broke our heart like this. T.T
I hope doldam people can do something to solve it. seems like SWJ really2 don't want to go. i cried watching the final scene.

 

ps: i don't want the vip to die because he seems like a good kid.

I've never felt frustrated with the writer like right now, 'cause I'm dying of waiting for them to untie the knots. There're still so many things that haven't been touched on, and I don't know why I have the feelings that they will leave something that signals the season 3 (maybe?). I still cannot believe they're gonna end the show just in 3 more episodes and I'm not satisfied with the pace they solve everything. It's like torture yorobun >_<

True. It's the only episode that Woo Jin can smile brightly and comfortably too. Man don't get me wrong, pd-nim and writer-nim put too much on him, make him a sad boy with so many richard simmons happening endlessly. He deserves better. I don't like how the writer put too much drama on him. Hope they can solve it well, and plizzz DO NOT ruin my poor baby's life one more time

Same thoughts. I'm actually waiting for an episode to feature Dr. Bae. I mean - most of the characters from the previous season and here has highlights but we only get breadcrumbs with him. I just love his reassuring aura in Doldam.

He is finally happy and smiling and working so well and yet writer wants to break him again. The last scene was so hard to watch. I had a lump in my throat and began tearing too seeing SWJ eyes and face. Enoughhh tormenting our poor WooJin..haizzz. 3 more episodes to go.
I want to watch lovey dovey scenes between him and CEJ.

I understand your feelings about this drama as this is my main tsk tsk about it too. Im really surprised that the writer and PD did  this to LSK character. S1 was so well written, very well planned and researched especially on the medical and operation procedures that I wouldve thought s2 was a whole different film crew and its not. Im not in the medical field  but reading your conversation between yourself and @ck1Oz S2 seems to have so some flaws in the OR scenes and to me Dr EJ nausea is the MAJOR flaw. Like you I dont understand how she can gain her fellowship because in my country there would be no way that she would get that far in her profession. Worse yet she wouldnt be able to pass her university degree let alone work in a hospital. If there are any medical professions or medical students on this thread please clarify lol! 

Having said that I really enjoy watching the development of the characters. How Teacher Kim can inspire them to grow confident as a doctor and in themselves. Im a real sucker for KSB teachings so Im mainly here for that. I cant wait to see how he can work his magic on President Park and perhaps even Dr Yang.  The medical cases in each ep are just as nerve and even more heart breaking as S1 so if you enjoy those stories then I would def recommend this drama to you. The romance is just...one word... "cute" like AHS. 

 

 after this drama I need a rom com and hopefully where the romance will be jaw dropping like Forest

Woo jin's V sign and brightest smiles are my most fave of last night episode. And the OTP is getting closer and strengthen each other positively. 

 

Sigh... can someone do something about that headhunter? Jang manager should take quick action before he snatches all ddoldam staffs. I thought everyone will eventually side with kim sabu at this rate. Director Park overworked Dr. Yang to prepare the surgery for the VIP while Kim Sabu is the only one care about his condition. It's finally I have a sympathy for Dr. Shim. She's not that greedy and silly like Park. I wonder he'll mess up with the surgery and needs someone else to rescue. Well, who will assist him if Dr. Yang is not in a good condition like that. SWJ? Maybe kim sabu again? 

 

Is that legal to force someone signing a contract like that? I think it would be void. Poor WJ, he wants to stay at ddoldam. Can't wait for the subbed episode of tonight.

WJ thinks back how he was threatenby the thugs to sign the contract to work elsewhere. He tells KSB his leaving. EJ tries to ask him why his leaving and he tells her his sunbae gave him a better job in Seoul he then avoids to tell her more by going to sleep

Dr Shim signs the letter to approve the vip surgery but insist SWJ help in the operation. KSB, Nurse Oh Dr Nam and manager jang discussing why SWJ wants to leave. SWJ speaks to KSB about the Vip patient and his condition

The nurses and EJ tries to find the scouting sunbae to ask him. EJ sees him in Dr Yang office. As in preview she tells them to stop the scouting of the doldam staff

WJ sees EJ in the office with his sunbae and Dr Yang arguing. Dr Yang accuses EJ with sleeping with WJ and he is angry and wants to go into the office but the nurses hold him back

VIP patient surgery begins..doesnt loook good. Its table death. Pres Yeo is admited to hospital and suffers cardic arrest but he signed a DNR deal to Do not resuscitate him. KSB decides against it and performs CPR. President Yeo is alive but in coma. Euntak feels helpless and I think for once he disagrees with what KSB did

 EJ picks up WJ phone and reads the thugs msg. She shows it to Dr Bae and also the gangster business card too. Dr Bae gives the card back to her and she secretly calls the gangster friends to help lol! Dr Bae leaves his office and defintly going to help WJ lol!

Scouting sunbae sees WJ and returns the contract to him.

EJ still has WJ phone and he knows she has it and asks her to give it back. The thugs comes and OMG they are scared of Dr Bae and they apologise to WJ. I think he is now debt free lol! It is such a funny scene. EJ and WJ is surprise at what is happening and the thugs leave. EJ thinks it was the gangs that she called earlier. WJ thinks its Dr Bae lol.

As the thugs leave Doldam the other gang is their waiting for them. EJ sees the thugs outside and thanks them by giving her thumbs up..
