  1. Question. Park Chi Do told Hwi that just as Yeom is precious to him, Hwi is precious to some people (indicating them). The next scene showed a flashback of Park instructing a boy in swordfighting. Was that young boy Hwi? If so, does Hwi remember Park from his childhood days?
  2. Still lots of loose ends from season 1...what happened to Yoo Yeon Seok? He escaped at the end. I am currently on ep 4 of S2.
  3. I am so disappointed with what happened. He is a smart character why did he have to die? I really wwnt the team to solve the case. It rmeinded me of eun Soo dying in Stranger. The team would benefit from his skills. It is also obvious that Taesik is not the killer. Because he surrendered his gun when he was demoted and suspended. Which means it is someone from thr police. Based on the hand since i am watching with others, they said it looked like their Captain. Aaargh
  4. If Edward did crash his own plane, it is still illogical even if the purpose was to implicate John and Mark. Oh well, i am not the writer... I though Micky was the girlfriend, but then Haeri has a Japanese passport in ep. 2. Still i find it implausible that after all she has been through, she's the one who killed Michael? Another thing is, WHY was she going undercover at the Korean embassy in Morocco in the first place? And why did Chief Gang ask her to go to Lisbon to investigate Michael's death? michael is not a Korean citizen. In ep 14, it appeared that Edward and PM Hong did not know each other, or just met for the first time, unless it was all just a farce. Edward was taken aback when he saw Cha in that same restaurant. Maybe Samael is someone else, a foreigner whom we haven't seen?
  5. In the 1st episode, where does it say that it was 2019 in the sniper Cha in Kiria scene? The present story we are watching is in 2012 since 50 year anniv. Of Morocco and Korea relations Is 2012. So it seems the time line is 6 years 6 years. 6 years ago, Cha interviewed for the stuntman job, as well as Haeri applied for the NIS position. Then 6 years after, the Kiria scene.
  6. So jessica really didnt have Michael killed... Then who? If Micky, why? Is Micky really loyal to Edward or is she a double agent? And who is behind Jerome? Edward? Was Jerome going to kill Kim? Samael was the name written on the paper, the one Jerome was reporting to. Anyone knows what else was written there in Korea ? It wasnt included in the subtitles. I feel like Kim and Sang Mi were just acting in the interrogation room. They were up to something. But who is supporting them? Definitely not Jessica right? As i have guessed before, Hong might be going behind Jessica's back. Remember when he acted on his own in "killing" the reporter? Maybe Edward and Hong are working together? Since Jessica used to be park' mentee when she used to work for Dynamic. What do the ep 14 preview say?
  7. But what did Jeong do against Yeong Min's family that would prompt him to exact revenge, if ever? What i can think of is YM could be jealous of Sanghun for having been adopted by Jeong and he probably has feelings for Seo Hui. In fact it was Jeong who suffered because his son and wife died because of that driver which is no other than In's father. He is the one who is inderstandably mad.
  8. About the oil drilling project, why would Jessica want to be involved in that when they are in the planes industry? It doesnt seem obvious to me that Hong's partner for that project in Kiria is Edward. So are they now diversifying their business? Also. Hong has had interactions wirh Jessica as shown in the 1st few episodes. So i guess Hong is playing both sides then, but for now it isnt clear. Is it also a coincidence that this Kiria country is in North africa near Morocco where the plane crash took place? Or is this all intentional? If Micky killed Michael in Portugal, there is a nother woman who killed the phone operator at Incheon Airport.
  9. From my undesmrstanding, the real Sanghun died as a child based from the flashback, is that correct? The Sanghun we know right now is the Eun kid, who is now called Sanghun after he was adopted by Chairman Jeong.
  10. Some are speculating that Jerome was the sniper eho shot Lily's assistant. Lily doesnt know jerome, but guesses he was sent by Edward. Edward probably wants Lily to be shot so that she wont shoot Kim, since Edward wants Kim, Haeri and Cha to show up at the court. Since Kim was shot, dunno if he eill be able to testify, or whether even if he will tell the truth.
  11. I wonder who Michael's mistress was? Kim said she was Asian. Up to now, they only got very little info from Kim. How are they going to make him testidy is going to be interesting.
  12. Why did Commissioner Yeom ask Jang to murder Dep Commissioner Park? For Jang, we know he has a motive so the evidence of Kim's mom's murder wont be revealed by Park. But why Yeom? What did she gain by having Park murdered??
  13. Btw does anyone know the ost at the last scene of ep 4? It sounds nice like has an 80s feel to it, female singer. Can't find it on Youtube though...
  14. I like Hwi and the bromance among his companions. They're funny too, and look out for each other. With all the bad things that happened to Hwi, I am glad they are there. Same with Hui Jae. She really loves Hwi. It's good that she thought of acting as strangers in front of Bangwon and continue working behind the scenes. This series (and some others) reminds me of this quote from Lord of the Rings: “I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” Btw who is Park Chi Do? In a previous ep, Hwi saw his tattoo and seemed to recall something. Was Park someone that Hwi's father knows?
  15. in ep 10, Gi said he received orders to kill Haeri. But I remember Ahn called Gi and said thay Cha and Kim are to be killed. In fact he called because he wanted the NIS people to be safe, which means including Haeri, right?
  16. I didnt know Taesik's mom had cancer. Which episode did this mention? For now it seems the Hong and In are the ones who want Seo Hui to be assemblywoman so much since they could control her. So maybe they are behind the kidnapping or killing of the other characters. I wonder if Choi is still alive. I hope he is, so they could question him. Hong wants seo Hui to have the bill passed. She received a text threatening her to have it passed. She received the video threatening her to run for assemblywoman so she can find Sanghun again. Hong was the one compelling her to run. By this time, she should have been able to put two and two together. Instead she gives the letter to them and now it's burnt. She should have worked with the detective. I totally get why they want her in position, she naive and gullible, the perfect person for them.
  17. I am confused with ep. 3. Who is Mr In? The one the father in law and Yeong Min was referring to? How is he connected to Sanghun?
  18. The arbitrator is Edward Park from dynamic System, he is not on the same side as Jessica. They are competitors, Dynamic and J&M, vying for the govt contract. Jessica used to be a mentee of Park, but she later transferred to work at J&M.
  19. It seems the father and the son in law are investigating something...maybe related to the new renewable energy business? The old man (dunno his name and position) wanted the lead to become an assemblywoman...meaning he has a motive to kidnap Sanghun or harm him. The man who called the lead and asked for money to meet at the shipping containers might be different from the one who supposedly kidnapped her husband. One wanted just money, while the other wanted power and control by forcing her to join the assembly. Or it could just be one person/party. I wonder if Sanghun is still alive. On wiki, he was not included in the cast.
  20. First time to watched a historical kdrama, wasnt keen on it seem i though i might not understand all the details, and turns out to be true. Many characters and i cant determine what ones relatio ship with is to the other, their motives, which one is the bad guy etc. 1) when Hwi was forcibly shipped off to the military, was he and Nam seon fighting on the same side - camp of Gen Yi Seong Gyo? Or was Hwi fighting on the side of the current King? It seemed to be, because they sent messages to each other via arrows. But why was the other camp ordered to be completely killed if they were on the same side? 2) BangWon told Nam Jeon that Seo Geom was supposed to be on the Gen.'s side? Does this mean he thinks that Nam Jeon killed Seo geom? 3) why is Hwi considered poor if his father was a commander and famous swordsman? Or was it because he died via suicide and thus they ended up being poor? 4) did Hwi agree to the deal so that he can get Yeon back, so Nam Jeon would stop holding her hostage?
  21. Ok so there's a pseudosurgery done bi Gi with instructions over video. I wonder if he has had any medical training before? His father is a hospital administrator or something, right? I joke that Kim should have beeen the one to do the surgery (and not the one who was shot) since he could operate as Dr Song. Cha wanted to donate his blood to Kim. I guess they'll be receiving blood transfusion instructions via video again? I really hope Kim stays alive to get more info from him. And o don't want Lily to succeed in killling him. As for Michael allegedly in charge of the crash, it could be possible, since he talked to Jerome and Kim about planning the plane crash, but the mastermind is still Jessica, eith Michael being the VJ&M VP and still under her. And then later on he had a change of heart about what he did and warned Incheon airport regarding the crash. As for Chief Ahn, yes he disclosed the new TF office. But i feel that in the end, he would tell the truth, including him being blackmailed by secretary Yoon, and his past anomalies as former chief of security and accepting bribes from Dynamic System. I also hope that we get more info about Jerome and Hosik, what they talked with or threatened them.
  22. I do not understand this, in episode 2 , Nam Seon threatened his father that he can tell General Choi that he knows about the rigged exam. However, Gen Choi already knows that Seon knows about it. He was there in the forest and shot an arrow at the other guy who knew about the rigged exam. What does this mean? Also, why is it Hui Jae's fault that Hwi was sent to the military? I thought it was Nam Seon who sent Hwi, so that he won't broadcast about the rigged exam? And did i understand it correctly, it was Nam Jeon who saved Hui Jae as a young girl? That's why she felt indebted to him.
  23. Btw where can i watch the preview for thr next episode? Netflix doesn't have it. Thanks in advance!
  24. About Shadow, who exactly is he to Jessica? What I mean is, Jessica hired Shadow to do exactly what? Is it to kill CDG? Or to bury the truth about the plane crash? Or to act as the mole in NIS? I wonder who the guy that turned CDG's shoulder at the end is. Also if the reporter is alive, who did he give the flash drive to DG with the info on the co pilot? Who is he reporting to?
  25. Same, I wondered why Dal Geon and the two female NIS agents immediately trusted Edward Park. It felt too careless, and sudden. Why was Park suddenly part of their inner circle? In fact I felt that the plane crash details for now should only he between DG and HR and maybe Mr Gang from NIS. Also, Lily said that Park was going to be one of her clients, but it did not push through. Forgot if it was because Jessica offered a higher pay. So who was the person that Park was planning to have assassinated, if it were true?
