I think the dating romured of kim nam gil and son jin ye had no pictures of them seen .  Unlike that with hyun bin  where there was a grocery shopping outside korea? I like nam gil but i like more and more  Hyun Bin. The grocery shopping is legit while nam gil is just rumored. I really really like Hyun Bin for Son Ye Jin.

Both of them said that they are watching a lot of TV lately. So their friends have a lot of dramas on TV - LMJ and Oh Yoon Ah in Once Again, Uhm Ji won in Birth Care Centre, Oh Yoon Ah just got recently cast on another new drama. Song Yoon Ah - Grateful Friends.. This is SYJ core friends and we know it is his mutual friends too. Of course their mutual friends have movies ex. Peninsula and Deliver Us From Evil out..  They probably watch Dinner Mate too. 

 

I can see why Jinnie has been glued to the TV  I am sure they  will watch YoonA and HJM in Hush. Hope that has started filming or soon?

As expected the fan meet was focused more about her and past projects. Thank God a lot of us didn't expect anything related to her personal life. Knowing how private she is and like what she said in her past interview "i don't want to give them the answer they want to hear" That's how she value her private life and that never been into media play that other ship is accusing her. As we can recall, she only had one scandal in her entire career and that's with Binnie (Hyun Bin only). Let's respect her if she didn't talk about much about Hyun Bin. YJ mentioned her favorite song (realeased 1994) in a Q & A sessions in 2016 (The Last Princess promotion) before she met HB.

 

YKW prepared and sang her favorite song as a present for YJ.

 

I brough KNG rumour up because some posters keep repeating that HB is YJ's 1 dating rumour, this is not truth. Korean media stop talking about BinJin dating rumour after Cloy is finished.

I think i didnt see that someone said here that hb is her first rumor dating? What i read is Hb is her first scandal dating due to that grocery shopping? Late Night in 1994 by Jang Hye Jin was not released in 2014. I had looked this up before. It was from her 3rd album in 1994 called Before The Party.

 

The song was composed by Kim Dong Ryul (Binnie did a music video of  his Reply song  - that coincidentally came out on Jinnie's birthday lol). Reply also had the London Symphony Orchestra playing. - Other actors like Gong Yoo had appeared in Kim Dong Ryul's music videos.

I agree. I also did not expect that she will talk about HB or reveal their status prior to the FM as it is her personal life and knowing how guarded she is, she chose to not talk about him. One reason I could think of is maybe the accusations of the antis that everything about them is just media play made her all the more tight-lipped. But to a true shipper, you can see through her actions, no matter how hard she tried, it showed-the tension, the nervousness. If I were her, and if there's really nothing going on, i will not hesitate talking about him. And even if questions about dating rumour will be raised, i will nonchalantly answer IT IS NOT TRUE, HB and I are just good friends. The fact that she avoided such situation made it more obvious that they are in seriously deep relationship. We just have to wait and give them some space. Sometimes, shippers can be very demanding as if these 2 owe us to tell the truth. It is their life and they have every right and reason to protect whatever they have RN.

Hy to all, I don't ppost frecuently because most times others say what I'm thinking so I preffer just to agree and don't fill the pages waiting for the official anouncement. Lovelyz, 100% in accord with your whole post. I don't like to use much space,so I won't repeat all the post. They each separately have their own fandom, agencies, work,recognitions, ect.  This was actress Son Ye Jin fandom meeting, not BinJin, not actor Hyun Bin's. They have been very professional concerning their work and protective of their personal life. It's not even logic to expect that they make statements about their personal relation for the entertaining of the shipper fans. Belive it or not, they both have fans that does not ship them with each other or simply with anybody else, fans that just admire their professional work. This actress has work hard and sacrifice a lot to have a career scandal free just to go overboard now. Every thing has its place, and the fandom meeting was not the place to talk about HB, much less their relationship, only she knows how far she can go feeling comfortable talking about him. Just a simple mention of him and she stuttered! We must be reasonable and give them, mostly to YeJin, the space they need. There will come the day they will talk freely and comfortable of each other. Lets wait patienly, not jumping overboard at every small incident.

It's in moments like these that we are reminded that we have chosen to ship two very low-key and extremely private individuals who also happen to hold significant amount of clout in K-ent as well as the respect of the media. If there are no talk of Binjin dating rumors in SK media then the denials worked because of the privacy it afforded them to live their lives. This reminded me a lot of the expectations at Baeksang. But Binjin are not and have never been the kind of celebrities who liked to call attention to themselves. Baeksang was an industry event held to honor their peers. SYJ's fan meet was organized for her to connect with her fans. Binjin being Binjin, their announcement would most likely be in a heartfelt letter at a moment we least expect.

I would find it hard to believe that anyone thought or expected SYJ to confirm Binjin during fanmeet! If you did, sorry!!! But you must admit it would be sort of classless to do that! 

 

i was more curious of how they/SYJ would handle this. Think of below like a flowchart: 

 

Would SYJ discuss HB:

a. Yes - if yes, how will she describe him? If as co-star and laugh off rumors, then most probably friends. If she just gives a prepared statement and seems guarded, something COULD be going on. Maybe relationship not as stable. Hmm...

 

b. No - why not? Seems totally natural to discuss your co-star in your recent worldwide drama hit where both are getting a lot of attention/kudos. This is where you thank your co-star and describe how great their acting skills are, etc.etc. (yes, I know it is her fan meet but she did have a guest, did she not?) for collaborating well to produce such a hit.

 

By completely ignoring HB, she just told us something REALLY is going on, more serious than (a), where she could have given a prepared statement.

 

At what stage they are in their relationship, is anyone’s guess. They could be married already, heading towards marriage or one could be ready for the M word and the other one not (gasp! blasphemy, I know).

 

Also I do like reading different viewpoints  -  as individuals, we interpret, think and experience things differently.  This is what makes this forum interesting to me - reading the different viewpoints/opinions/thoughts and see things from a different point of view. If we all have to agree and march to the same tune, might as well just have only one person posting!  So just because someone posted what you perceive is an unpopular opinion or tone, it doesn’t mean they don’t support Binjin. It just means their opinion don’t fit what you want.  And that should be okay.

I also did not expect any revelation during the fan meet.. As always try to be very "professional" during their public appearances, not mixing their professional and personal. I remember reading somewhere that SYJ in her 20's was so wary of dating or blind dates because she was afraid that the other party will spread rumours about. So you can see how she really tried to protect herself from rumors. I read somewhere on Twitter the other day, a shipper who also used to ship Rain and Kim Tae Hee, it took them 4 years shipping, starting from dating rumors and it was the bits of sightings that allowed them to tide over to 4 years until the marriage announcement. So let's just hang on, enjoy the crumbs and cakes, and wait with hope
