I am surprised (and it is also a little heartbreaking as a fangirl), that some people (not many at least!) are even criticizing HB’s actions because of this last denial. He has been always a true gentleman, a man of few words and reserved (the shy type of guy). And, he is now 38 yrs old, of course he is more mature now, and he will want to protect their privacy (more if SYJ has always been more private). He is playful in some BTS but at the same time it’s normal that his playfulness is shown in a more mature way. He is more protective also. And sometimes it’s like his own feelings betray him and he simply forget  everyone and everything around them (hehehe... for example in last BTS while turning her in the air, I giggle each time I watch that part! ). Also, look at his many sweet gestures, at those long devoting gazes, hearty smiles and warm laughs (as we have watched many times LOL). Same SYJ, although I am her new fan (I love her btw! She is an amazing actress!), call it woman intuition, don’t know, but in her smiles and gazes I also perceive warmth and feelings for him. 
 

We have many sweet behaviors between them. Let’s just support them and respect them.

Hey I am just peeking  in...I really love syj and hb together! I truly think they are dating and I think SYJ wants it private now and HB is okay with it. I think he wants to do it differently now bc this relationship is special.

@TotoroSY yes! In Singapore for Rampant meet and greet last Oct 30, 2018. I'm from the Philippines but i really went to SG just for that event.

 

Ohhh words can't even describe how handsome he is in person. He is stunning! And he looks like a sculpture. I've been reading quite a lot of news articles about him being described as looking like a sculpture. When i saw him i said to myself "so they weren't lying".. 

 

He was sooo nice to all the fans, he even personally received our gifts for him. I was in the vip box that time so i was able to see him up close. His voice is sooo nice too... He's soo beautiful all over

 

Then after the meet and greet i went to watch the gala premiere and they (HB with PD and jdg) were there onstage again to talk about the movie. I thought they were gonna watch it with us but sadly they had to eat dinner and then leave for the airport.

 

Also just wanna add that HB was the ambassador for asian games 2014 held in incheon. But he was also chosen as one of the flag bearers. And during the opening ceremony when they introduced the flag bearers he was introduced as 'he is chosen not because he is a glamorous celebrity but because he is the right person'. This goes to show how great a person he is

oh HB & SYJ: why I love them together

 

1. the way they look at each other (put it next to dictionary of honey oozing out of eyes)

2. i believe they are each other's ideal types: SYJ is the woman HB was looking for and being a long time fan of SYJ, I know that HB is her style, not only in looks (she likes HB's shape of eyes and not too thin lips) but also character (kind, hard-working, understanding)

3. I can't believe someone posted they are not physically attracted to each other: they have serious sexual tension together

4. they're both immaculate people, korean word is kkal-geum-hae, "neat" but that word doesn't do them justice: impeccable

5. HB once said he hates having regrets so he doesn't do things that will cause him to feel regret: this makes me think he is a man who strives to do the right things at all times

6. SYJ hates when people break or don't keep their promises. She strives to always keep her promises.

7. I love when they laugh so whole-heartedly together, it's such a contagious feeling of shared joy

8. when SYJ said the first thing she noticed about HB is his great skin and great hair. (i mean great skin you do notice right away, but great hair...girl, how did you notice that when you only worked with him through the monitor? hehe) I love it when she runs her fingers through his hair, esp in the BTS of kiss on the boat and then she runs her hands down his back. Also love how they laugh together at her satisfied, kinda pervy expression when they look at the monitor

9. I love both of their voices, it's just so soothing to listen to

10. they're like twins, soulmates. both the youngest in their families, desire to be actors, following their dreams, deep soulful eyes

11. HB is so attentive to SYJ, I really noticed it at that COEX thing when he motioned for her skirt. SYJ responded with a shy smile but it's so funny in the video you can literally see his eyes go to her legs before he makes that little motion that she needs to cover her leg. She did look incredible that day, they both did. Then he has to go and hold her elbow so she doesn't fall, move her water bottle for her, pick up her mic and hand it to her, he was like a super attentive boyfriend that day. Negotiation promo was the bomb: really so many moments I need another thread just for those moments. I will add to my list bc I can list 100 I think.

 

for the last BTS HB puts a four leaf clover in his book and that reminded me of SYJ's character in Be With You. Faith, Hope, Love, Luck

I pray for faith, hope and love for everyone here! I was just reminded of why I love them and root for them: they just make me really happy and I know there is a greater goodness that is working, meaning I truly believe it's God who is working, God who is love. I'm not going to idolize a relationship but I really feel the love, joy and friendship between these two and I pray that nothing will hinder them from growing/deepening their relationship.

Good morning Shoppers! I just woke up to a lot of new posts, some positive some negative. While it's normal to feel disheartened due to the repeated denials, i guess i'm already immune by now and don't take it personally anymore 

 

I'm holding on to the many signs i saw and still feels that they will announce something within this year. 

 

That last paragliding BTS... notice how Yejin keeps on jumping unto him like it's nothing?! I noticed what people said on HB's manner hands...  but i take it as more of HB just being cautious with so many people around. What i find funny is that YJ keeps on jumping and you know... she could have bumped unto something by repeatedly doing that...  She seems to love the Koala Hug  Thus HB's lost face or "what should i do" face. HAHAHA!!! And i don't think HB really stumbled on the end... he clearly had the balance when he tried to spin but ended up playfully lowkey trying to flirt in front of everyone

And thinking that this is the one guy who’s not really into doing aegyo lol (I remember reading an article where he said it). I didn’t really go through YJ’s IG to see whether this is a mere fan-service or otherwise, but it shows her effect on him

I have favorites, but below are the ones that made me go hmmmm just a bit more.

1. The video in the above post where SYJ is in the hot pink top. For the superficial, both look hot and fresh. A) The banter Both of them are just goofy. Not just SYJ. Both. HB ... wha? Unless I am mistaken, he is in smitten kitten mode. C) SYJ says HB is 100% like RJH but cannot explain how they are alike ... no, really, SYJ I really want to know your thoughts. 2. BTS: The belt yank, the piano practice / notes test and the Seri hospital scenes. There are also times where arms old up, hands rest and/or touch when not necessary imo... Also, for the boat kiss  ... unless the conceptualization  of that scene changed, I've wondered if kissing was even necessary since the camera gets really only a back shot of RJH ... but sure enough, they locked lips.

Fave BinJin moments:

 

First wanna share why i love syj for hb is because of the good changes ive seen in him. Following him for many years now i haven't seen him so relaxed and comfortable with a leading lady. Hb is usually so stiff and cautious. With syj he can smile and laugh alot and even do silly selfies and videos.

 

Now back to BinJin moments

 

1. Yes the grocery pics.. If i meet a friend in another country i won't do grocery shopping with him. Maybe eat together and go to tourist sites? 

Do you know that the first rumor in Jan 10 i already believed it was true? Yup even without pics. That's how much i have faith in them. I've been silently shipping them since negotiation promos. Never shipped hb with anybody before. But i just love him and syj together

 

2. Their bts when rjh rescued ysr on her way to airport.. And syj was running to hb but he pretended not to see her and she hit him on his chest and hb's laugh that time was so pure and infectious. Then they put their arms around each other. They gave off couple vibes

 

3. Bts in Switzerland.. Syj and hb hugging and spinning and kinda losing balance. They really hugged for a long time

 

4. Latest hospital bts especially when hb leaned to syj and also that part syj held hb's head. So cute and intimate

 

5. Their piano bts where syj was testing hb's musical note skills. They were in their own world that time

 

6. Ring bts where hb interlocked fingers with syj. When had hb become so touchy? Haha

I've shipped only two OTP and happy to say that both has successfully sailed but the last one is a famous Korean couple who sad to say got recently divorced and sink down.

 

i'm still high with my CLOY fever so pardon for paraphrasing them. I apologized in advance if i repeat some of my comments. I'm still doing massive backreading from this thread and i'm only in page 30 now.

 

BEFORE CLOY

 

It's not coincidence, its DESTINY.

 

It's funny how fate works. 

They both debut almost at the same time.

They're both in the same industry for several decades now but they never worked in a project though  SYJ actually had a cameo in Secret Garden.

 

We need to be thankful to the Director and casting director of their movie, otherwise, we wouldn't be here. It was a very brief encounter but leaves a huge impact to them.

 

PARALLELISM

 

I believe in parallelism, while writing /planning this series , i wonder if the production team already got SYJ and HB as the lead? 

RiRis story got a lot of similarity to the real actors. They were asked during previous interviews how similar they are to their characters  in real life and they reply 70% to almost 100% (pls correct me if im wrong).

 

As someone mentioned in the other thread, the characters are equal and both strong characters.

SYJ and HB are both superstars and at the peak/top of their game.

Both equally gorgeous and can ACT. Both passionate about their craft as actors.

Both known for their personality as humble and genuine person.

Both admired and award winning actors.

 

While Capt Ri got the influence and power, HB is also considered influential in the industry with more than 30 years in the industry (?).

While Seri is highly creativity and part of the elite echelon of the society, SYJ is also a rare species in a showbiz industry with her acting prowess, awards and great personality.

 

LIES OR LOVE?

Fortune and misfortune are like twisted rope so they come by turns.

 

Now the downside, their fame and fortune always attract negativities and its up to the person how to react. 

I heard that Korean fans can be toxic and very demanding (sorry someone just told me about this). 

No wonder celebrities are very paranoid and extremely careful about their image.

 

I am familiar with their names and know some of their projects but i really don't know anything about them apart from what i read here. From what i gathered, HB  is your "UF "and Ultimate BF/Husband Goal in Korea. He had previous relationships and often acknowledged them publicly.  So he is used to "scandal" (i'm still amazed how dating can be a scandal but i respect that in Korea its a big thing) and failed relationships with celebrities.

 

SYJ to me is like Korea's sweetheart. Very daring in taking new roles but very charming and nice to all the staff and co-actors.

 

I was also amazed when SYJ said during one of their promo interview where they have to give message to each said, how HB is the only actor for her and she was following his career since she was in middle school or something.  When asked abt HB Kim Sun soong's nickname she immediately gave the answer though she said she didn't watch it. I was suprised when i saw these revelations. HB was also surprised (more of a shock) when he heard them straight from her.

My take on their relationship? I believe they are already in a relationship but both protective on what they have.

 CLOY is a good platform to get more supporters on whatever they have at the moment.  HB in posting about the dating rumour is being his alpha male protective mode.

They're both passionate about their work and would like to continue working without any bashers or taint any negativities on what they're doing.

 

Their were so happy living and working in their own little bubble while taping that they probably forgot that cameras are still rolling and capturing their precious cute moments BTS. Thank God for them since you can see how genuine and real whats behind the camera. They're great actors but you can't fake it.

 

 

Remember when Seri gave Capt Ri choices about their first kiss in the hospital? I hope fans will be happy for them. They're no longer teenagers and don't put any pressure on them and let them be.

 

i was smiling in the scene where one of Riri's previous dating partner posted in sns and Little Jeoki got jealous. She said that she kept on dating to find "the one". As mentioned earlier, HB got previous relationships and to be happy in life he wanted something within his reach but couldnt get it yet (couldnt remember the exact words).

I'm just happy to see them both happy. After watching part of CLOY, i also started reading about them and wants to learn more about them personally since what they have is one of a kind. Their chemistry is amazing and you can see in their eyes the glow and happiness. Just like my previous OTP, i wish them well and hopefully take care of they have.  Let's wait few more months before official announcement.

 

if in the ending of CLOY we didnt get to see the RiRi's twins, i'm hoping to see them in BinJin arms one day. With that kind of genes, they need to multiply.

DISCRIMINATING EVIDENCES

 

They're great actors in the show but they have so many discriminating moves that show that whats real from reel. Here are BTS to name a few.

 

1) The BTS in the hospital scene where SYJ covered her lips for another "rehearsal" and HB gave her a meaningful look (Rated SPG interpretation so no need to mention).  We call it the "ninja moves" Then there's SYJ who constantly laughing during the scene. At the beginning of the video, HB was saying about washing very carefully before the scene. Was there more to it than the show of amazing body and skin of HB that makes SYJ giddy and laughing.

 

2) The farewell kiss in Episode 9 where Seri needs to cross the border for me is just so-so., i was hoping for more since c'mon it' your  final moment with the love of your life and you dont know when you'll see each other again. Then i saw the longer BTS of this scene where they are discussing and rehearsing the blocking and lines. HB was so into it that that the real kiss in the scene pales into comparison....way too far from the rehearsal. 

 

3) If you look at the BTS where Seri was giving the heart signs to soldiers, they were just rehearsing and SYJ was giving suggestions about the blocking. Pyo Chi-soo and Park Kwang-beon swapped places as per SYJ's suggestions when she started giving the heart signs with enthusiam and gave two to Park, HB was sitting beside her and gave her a long look (he was reading the script and seriously doing it). I find it too funny that i don't see Capt Ri but HB.

 

4 The kiss in the boat as discussed here was a giveaway whereas his ear was so red. According to medical experts:

This interview that triggered my curiosity of them...

 

 

 

 From this interview I sense that;
1) They both have a crush toward each other since long- has watched and followed each other works (blessed! they finally have a chance to be in the same drama, not only that, it was a ROM-COM genre)
2) HB looks in the min 2.24. So many strong contenders! and most of the drama/film they were, was a ROM-COM-MELO, while me, our film not even allow us to breathe in the same space. 
3) in min 6.40: The director said...we also drank a lot to communicate...emmm...that's a dangerous word director-Nim  (in the other interview, the same director unintentionally said that HB likes YJ more..)
4) in min 7.04: emm..."pretty sister in the country who buy me a food"...then go to min 7.32....HB: YJ SOMETIMES buys me a beer..YJ: No he OFTEN bought me ....MC: oh..you bought each other... (ingrocerywetrust)
5) In min 8.27: normal...then in 8.53...HB's proud face (YJ: he is my beloved actor on the same boat)...in min 9.17 (YJ to HB).....9.24: She OFTEN buys me meals (it is not in drama guys but, he is telling what they both in reality).. holds on..just now, Sometimes for beer...then Often for meals......I need to use my calculator to count how many time already did you both had meals together?

I just read the news that Hyun Bin's partner (Hwang Jung Min) in the upcoming movie Bargaining has agreed to star in a new JTBC drama "Hush" in which expect to premier sometime in the 2nd half of 2020.  Which means that the production schedule for the movie Bargaining will probably end before the 1st part of 2020?  Oh I hope Hyun Bin will be free from film production and come back in time for some major award ceremonies in May onward...

I needed a break from the negative turn this thread was turning into since the Vast denials .     Being a shopper is very hard and if because of a few denials (this isn’t contest on who has the most denials, either) you already want to give up then shipping is not for you and you need to exit this grocery store.  But....so glad to read the last few pages and it seems our ship is straight again.  Love all the new names and people coming out to give us their interpretations and support.  THIS is now back to a real shipping thread.
