I#ve been watching the MH370 documentary as @partyon was talking about it, and tbh I'M SCARED NOW. The parts where the family is still asking question and you as viewer feel the sadness and frustration, imagine what they feel? 

 

ugh. its' just scary that something like this happened and still "nobody" knows what happened.

Disneys's live action version  And I suppose, the darker sort, hehehe! No way will this be general audience, that is, if it actually follows through how Eric defeated Ursula.

 

But hands down, I love the shipwreck scene and that King Triton ain't just that grumpy father in the animated movie. 

 

And I'm so, so happy that Halle has that sweet voice as Ariel.

Yeah, that's the original fairytale. 

 

I used to watch the Japanese anime of The Little Mermaid.  It's closer to Hans Christian Andersen's story.

 

 

Disney's version is better in theme songs.  The older animated movie is more heartfelt.
