@BlackLotus1025  - thanks for the offer, will look into it

You can ask @partyontoo if it's worth watching. :)

Oh no! I hope the guy in front of you is okay, haha! Hope he won't get indigestion, too!

And wow, looks like there's a feast there! I miss eating outside! Haha!

I was making some beef steak last night and wanted to make mango salad as a side dish but I accidentally cut my finger because the mango slipped from my grasp. It (my left middle finger to be exact) bled a lot and I almost passed out! I think I'm not used to seeing blood. Fortunately, the water with sugar helped me regain enough consciousness.

FYI @Sleepy Owl @joccu @partyon.  Re : Mouse and part2 being hyped.  I get the feeling (guessing here ) they are going with the Dexter story (LSG will play a Dexter like character).  I don’t think I can stay for any more gore.  Even if it is LSG seemingly doing the world a favor by offing serial killers/people who escape the long arm of the law.   So writer will keep the audience guessing right to the end about whether he could’ve done it to innocent people before.

Cr https://www.soompi.com/article/1462636wpp/lee-seung-gi-makes-a-drastic-transformation-in-new-poster-for-mouse

Spoiler

The new poster gives a peek at Jung Ba Reum’s transformation. In the previous poster, Jung Ba Reum was wearing a spotless police uniform and had a determined expression that showed his will to get the villain no matter what. However, in this new poster, Jung Ba Reum is wearing a black coat, and his hair is slicked back and parted so that his forehead shows. His expression is cold and merciless, and Go Moo Chi looks at him with doubt and confusion. Unlike the previous poster’s tagline that read “He is hunting people,” the tagline in this one reads, “I am beginning a new hunt.”

The production team shared, “As the overall context and atmosphere of the drama has been completely changed, we tried to capture that visually through the main poster for the second part. In order to improve the audience’s understanding of the plot and to induce interest, a special episode will air on April 7 to summarize the story’s elements and twists so far. Please look forward to the unpredictable second half of the drama.”

@nrllee  Well I never really liked dexter.  I do have watched it. Couple of episodes per season but yeah I was really not into it.    I don't get why the writer keeps us guessing. Maybe she/he hasn't still decided LSG character ending.

Hey there Chingu, well yeah, I think that game must have been more interesting. Real Madrid vs Liverpool was pretty one sided. I was hoping for Liverpool to play better, and they seemed clueless, despite Real Madrid not having their main defenders too.

Well Chingu, one thing is confirmed, either LSG or the guy whose frontal lobe was transplanted to him is at least the accomplice if not the killer, seeing the memories LSG is getting. I am still not liking the whole set up, and really hoping that the whole frontal lobe transplant plot is fake. But chances for that is too low.

I didn't watch Dexter, but that was mainly because I didn't really like the basic plot of it :joy:

@joccu @Sleepy Owl yeah I never watched Dexter either.  I just read the synopsis (because it was such a big hit).  Dexter didn’t just kill the offenders, he used serial killer type methods to do so?   It never felt right.  No matter how bad the person is, it’s not right to torture them before they die so they have a taste of their own medicine?  So what makes you any different to them then?   I like my dramas with a clear line between right and wrong.

@joccu as for why the writer keeps us guessing (with practically zero chance of getting it right because she keeps introducing new variables), it’s because she thinks that plot twists are the be all and end all to keep the audience watching?  That’s why she keeps doing it.  She (?)  did the same thing for God’s Gift 14Days.  But it’s a risky way to write a story.  Because if you have too many plot twists, you end up with a lot of loose ends to have to tie up in the end.  And you inevitably end up with loose ends that lead nowhere because you run out of time to tie it all up.

@Sleepy Owl Chingu, It was really interesting second half.  I was little bummed for Dortmund but we still have a second game.

@nrllee I do like dramas to have little gray side but in Dexter it was too dark.  But also For me Dexter was no anti-hero he was just killer who killed killers.  he was as bad as the others.

I guess Dotrmund had one disallowed goal too :rubchin:

The second will be interesting. Dortmund having an away goal, means it is basically a draw here since 1-0 victory in the second leg will get them to the next round. Man City also have a history of bottling in the later stages of the CL despite having a lead.

Chelsea plays Porto tonight, after the humiliating performance against West Brom in PL, I really hope the players have moved on and put on a great performance.

@nrllee I agree with you on Dexter. That is clearly crossing the line and not something I would really root for the ML doing.

As for this drama, I have never watched the previous work by this writer (most probably). I have not watched her "God's Gift 14 Days" which I have heard was great in start and was ruined by the end. But every episode having a cliffhanger and plot twists with less development somewhat gives the signal that the writer is not sure with their writing style and want the viewers glued by those plot twists and cliffhangers, which you also mentioned. Let's hope the writer will not end up being trapped in all those plot twist and end it without leaving any loose ends.

Also, I really hope to see a psychological thriller, with a simple plot in terms of certain elements like the brain transplant, the lead having some super powers etc. Namgoong Min's Awaken was completely ruined by the whole super power and other stuff despite having a solid synopsis. Same is the case with Mouse, it is doing better than the "Awaken" of course, but I am still disappointed over the brain transplant thing :isannoyed:

Oh, I thought you were talking crab saram at first, so I thought you were talking about a crab person because saram is the Korean term for person. Haha. But when I checked what you and @Min2206 meant, I saw it's crab maras. ^^

I've watched this drama, and yes, the ending was really questionable. Haha! It started really well and all the casts did well, too. But the later scenes suddenly became confusing and lacking. It's a drama which you can really finish but never really the one that you'd want to re-watch.
