Actually, which LMH's dramas have you NOT seen?

@mademoisellesia, me - his dramas, which were prior BOF.

apparently producing a drama requires more than casting leads. TBH, i am not familiar how long do writers work on scripts or how fast they can get budget for their drama. But i know star writers like KES and the rest who have the brains and talent to write a drama a year can find director and budget fast too. Also, LMH brings production team and budget around him. The problem is LMH not wanting to come back any time now. Because we all know he takes some time off. but we are in denial stage because we miss him so much. also, LMH is VERY picky when it comes to choosing project. He has high standards and want great script and the rest of stuff.

@Nikaa94 in the entertainment industry, there are some general guidelines that you should keep in mind when you're negotiating. As a rule the screenwriter will get between 2% and 3% of the production budgetIn television, the budget is usually prepared by the Producer, the Line Producer/PM. Feature films are sometimes budgeted by the Production Accountant. Drama and scripted comedy are considered more complicated to budget than other genres. The producer has a big say in the budget. And the bigger the cast or more locations that need to be shot surely increase the budget drastically. Most viewers tune into their favourite shows between 7pm and 10pm and so this period of time has been determined as “primetime”. Therefore, shows broadcasted in these hours will need a bigger budget, as they will be a very competitive spot. Daytime TV shows will have a significantly lower budget. Whether your show will be broadcast on a local channel or a premium cable channel will drastically change your budget.

No wonder, i am now on Epi 10!
I saw the closet kiss scene on YT but that was without sub.   Somehow the scene is more VISUAL with subs, so I guess i have to speed up to epi 17!    But don't remember seeing the other scene though.

Anyway, I am going to have to go .. today im working from home - better take a break a bit - to the gym perhaps --  to get some healing - i need fresh air :emmm:

@willenette does a producer have a say who they want to cast? or is the producer only appointed after the script and casting is confirmed ?

@SophieH, the producers rarely have any input into who is cast unless they are doing a friend a favor and getting them a job. However in some cases if the production is a big budget film and destined to be box office gold a producer may request a specific actor be attached ... There's a difference between a producer and an executive producer. A producer may already be working on a script with a writer and will reach out to an executive producer to finance the project. The producer answers to the executive producer about the budget. The executive producer does not get involved with the day-to-day of a production like a producer does.

Yep, for the umteenth time! I just finished Ep 11. Faith is my favorite LMH performance snd character. LG is close, though.

Absolutely! I’m happy to talk on that thread. I’m rewatching it right now!

Impressive while currently I am on my second rewatch and now I am on the 7th episode

I have a new thing to start harassing everyone about

I would like to see LMH in a musical pleeeez

Yes I’ve been binging his tour videos on YouTube, and watching bootlegs of Waitress and Wicked

He’d be a cute Fiyero

Hahaha. When I heard musical for whatever reason it made me laugh. I mean his a good singer and he can sing but musical was the last thing we discussed where all other genre came up except musicals because I can safely say that there is no demand for musicals amongst the fans unanimously but it's hilarious nonetheless that you dropped that one.

unless it's like Disney remake musicals otherwise there is no buzz for that unfortunately

Kiss poll? I believe @CarolynH has already agreed to it couple of pages back...?

@Nikaa94 @SophieH

Spoiler

OK, I finally have clarification from the Higher Ups, all reactions are positive and will earn points except "Unamused" and "Off topic". I tried it out and can confirm. I was told the negative will deduct 1 point, but that didn't seem to be the case (yet), at least not when I try it out.

Thanks for the detailed info @willenette   Can I say that the PD can request who to cast for cameo roles as well? or can the lead casts requesting so and so?

Receiving reactions let you earn both Soompi points and Reputation points.

Posting/Replying also earn you one point.

Re Lawsuits I think Popular Celebrities in General should at times Limit their Comment on Posts or entirely Remove it, Things just get out of hand for no reason.

RegardingLMH  Kisses. Depends on what you want to feel at the Moment. I am all for French and Beheading Kiss but Passionate Kiss or Sweet Peck also work at times. Now Which One should we Choose??? #difficultchoices
