Evrything about Binjin is beautiful. I tried to finish reading all the contents of this thread from very beginning till the last page as i dont want to look like zero knowledge about the foundation of binjin. 

At first, i only like hyun bin..i only fucosed my attention to him but i did stop after his movie Confidential Assignment and that is due to work related..one day , one of my friends shared a picture of Hyun Bin and that certain ex being reunited in her facebook. I got curious again to Bin and re-ignite me once more to update him until i encountered the name of Son ye jin which is happened to be his rumored girlfriend.  I was like how come that he has son ye jin and now there's an ex reunification. What curious me more is that  hyun bin's present girlfriend and research her by reading every details about her, her awards, her movies, accomplishments,  her  beautiful pictures in the red carpet, all the respects given to her by the K-ent industry , her talents,  her all interviews that impressed me so much and rooted me to like her for hyun bin compared to that ex. It came to my realization that our dear Hyun Bin wouldnt give up Miss Son Ye Jin over that ex 11 years ago. 

What convinced me most that BINJIN is real was  the Kakao talk show aside from that shopping in LA. The trasnformation of their closeness from the Negotiation Promos to   Cloy. The progress of their relatinship...i love totally the foundation of their love. Though i think they were both infatuated to each other when they were young. They are both vissually beautiful...  

 

At the moment, am watching all Son Ye Jins film be it drama or a movie. I just finished her truth beneath and oh my god, her acting here is superb deep. No wonder she got a lot of awards in this movie. Now, am about to start The Classic.. next would be The Pirates and Be With You...I like her also in The Art of Seduction..

 

Our Binnie, Your Son Ye Jin is a gem for you. Please dont hurt her..So with you our Dear Ye jin. Please dont break our Hyun Bin's heart.. Cherish one another and protect each other. God Bless you both..

My moment of believing in BINJIN. HMMMM 

After watching CLOY, I probably googled Binnie as I was so enamored by his portrayal of Captain Ri.  I discovered the grocery shopping pictures, and jumped for joy. That was the beginning. Then I found the BTS for TN and decided that we the viewers were watching 2 people fall in love. 
My absolute moment was when Binnie  spoke of his reaction to meeting SYJ. He liked what he discovered. Comfortable. Laughed a lot. So dedicated to acting the scenes, but easy going and LAUGHED ALOT. He appeared to be totally whipped already. 
   

And this began this chapter of my life!

All of your "What moment convinced you they were together?" posts have my tear ducts earning their keep today  . Everything everyone has said contributed to my determination. I pay attention to body language a lot. To me, the body tends to say what the mouth won't or doesn't. But I think what was really a pivotal moment for me was their constant interactions and reactions to each other which seemed to exude bewilderment with each other to the point that seemed to say I am in just in amazement of this person. How in the world could I not have discovered them, met them, and/or seriously not considered them a true contender for my love before? I can't believe that all (and then some) I have dreamed of in a significant other has been right here in front of me all along and all of this time. They had the look of somebody pinch me. Is this real? If it's not, don't wake me up. Their fascination with each other seemed to be like the proverbial kid with a new toy.

 

I just love how therapeutic this forum is! Sometimes our spirits get low but we know how to bring ourselves back up. Thankfully, at least there is no bill attached to it .

Haha thanks but not exactly  Although I write a lot as part of my job, it's painful when the topic is not very exciting. Yet when it comes to HB and SYJ I can't seem to write less than several paragraphs each time

I low-key shipped them when the promos for TN were released just because they looked so gorgeous together. When the grocery pictures came out, I was more surprised that they finally got a picture of Son Ye Jin with someone than by the thought that they were a couple. The grocery pictures were just so domestic. They didn't look like two friends who just ran into each other while on separate holidays. They looked like a couple who were stocking up for a quiet weekend at home. Then there was their Kakao Talk after the CLOY press con where they were so giggly and comfortable in a way that they weren't during the earlier event. When the MC asked HB if he wants to eat the snacks in his ration pack, he didn't answer immediately but turned to Yejin to confirm that they were eating it later. Again, so domestic. Why would her opinion matter if she was just a co-star? 

 

But what really convinced me they were together was Baeksang. That moment on stage when SYJ glanced back at HB which made him smile at her and then she had this really big smile even without seeing his reaction. That was as public a declaration can ever be for two people who are very protective of their privacy.

My Wife Got Married press conference was on Sept 23 2008. So Jinnie actually ended up working with KJH in the past in September.

When i decided to join in this soompi few days ago , i set my mind and my heart that our Binjin is real based on what i read and watched about them. After watching the fanmeet last Sept. 27 and saw most of the co-fans reactions , it didnt change my mind since as what the co-shippers here said that Son Ye jin's intagram has a bit huge room for our dear Hyun Bin.  I never doubted them and never think that these two lovers are  just assuming to be in a relationship. Having an experience to fall in love, you can see their positive aura more so during Cloy promos until this date, you can also read their gestures and actions which it contents intimacy..They may not say it or confirm it verbally but you can find the answers via their actions.

In their relationship, my assumption to Ye jin is shes quite struggling since perhaps this is her first ever serious relationship entire her life. The most cotroversy amongst..

..Yet our girl is inlove so she has to fight for it by having a sweet smile everytime she appears on screen. She responses 

those intruders trying to ruin her happiness positively by collaborating with Hyun Bins Commercials beautifully. 

 Our Hyun Bin on the other hand tries his best in caring this relationship as well. When that reunification with his ex 11 yrs ago brought out to SK, his camp gave their direct and sharp denial in ten mins with few words and thats  enough for them.  

 For Hyun Bin, he shows his affections by  a praising his love of life by any chance he has..Our Hyun Bin is so whipped oviously.. ..He is totally inlove too to our girl. They love one another..

To our dear Binjin, hope all is well for both of you..I wish you all the best and happiness.

Question to Fan Meets experts: 

Why didn’t they have a TV mounted on the back wall to show the Japanese radio talk show host? Instead they had YKW (the special guest!) hold an iPad and no one else could see the people on the iPad. I don’t think they even gave him a drink!

 

In live fan meets, do they have screens to show videos? Are there live call-ins to these fan meets that are shown on these screens?  If they do, why didn’t they do something similar for a virtual fan meet? Not really that much different - just a smaller room as there isn’t an audience.

I know people were very confused why they chose that movie to post out of all the other stuff they could have posted of Binnie but all good 

 

Park Sung Woong is also in The Swindlers. Binnie's friend. He had a cameo on CLOY. He was also in Jinnie's movies Open City and White Night. PSW was also in The Fatal Encounter with Binnie. I think they covered a lot  They just didn't post fun pics of HB on set with PSW like this one:

@NonKoreanMango I don't think they were on an actual studio set. It looked like someone's house made into a set? Just the way the background was and you could see the lights from outside. So they probably didn't have a flat screen etc and other equipment to make it fancy. Jinnie's past fan meetings have all been sit down gatherings. It is not an auditorium or a huge venue like Binnie's. There is usually food and tables it seems. It looks like she personally met those lucky fans in the past who got to attend her fan meetings.

I understand that some of BinJin fans were expecting HB as special guest or at least HB's video message to appear during YJ's fanmeeting. That is natural when we are shipping a couple, we want to see them together and affirm (and reaffirm) their relationship to us.

 

However, as many have said here, HB showing up at the fanmeeting might shift the focus of the fanmeeting from YJ  and her works to their relationship or even to nasty rumours. This is something that any professional individual will avoid. Just imagine when Brangelina were still together and instead of talking about their projects, interviewers kept on digging information about their private life. That would be disappointing for the involved parties and also the fans.

 

While I am not an expert on K-ent, I saw similar reluctance to divulge their personal relationship among K-performers and actors. For the example, on the video within the spoiler below, Jung Kyung Ho (of Hospital Playlist fame) disclosed on Life Bar how uncomfortable he was when during interviews, he talked about his projects for 3-4 hours and then spending 10 seconds on his gf  (Soo Young of SNSD) and that 10 seconds became the news (instead of his projects). This is coming from Kyung Ho, who often show affection to his gf on public.

So, while I understand some of the fans' disappointment, I can understand as well YJ's decision to do what she did on her fanmeeting.

 

On the question when did I jump to this ship, well, actually I was late to CLOY. I binge watched CLOY (and then other Kdrama) only on June, when I got bored with the lockdown here. I stumbled upon CLOY on Netflix, and then watching BinJin interviews on the Swoon, then watching their BTS and went further down the rabbit hole.

 

Since I am not speaking Korean (or any east asian languages), I  rely on body language more especially on micro expressions. If you look at my post history, you will see that I was (am) shipping another couple based on their body language as well. I even had assumed that DOTS co=stars had been having relationship  way before they confirmed. 

 

On the case of BinJin, their body language showed that they were comfortable with each other. However, there were times when their touches were lingering a bit longer than what I think natural for co-workers. There were stolen glances and intimate gestures that only couples do. My favourite is actually YJ's glance to HB and his smile to her when they walked to the stage during Baeksang. You know, when they tried their hard to look indifferent toward one another but then they just could NOT ignore one another so they were like... just for this one second... nobody will pay attention. 

 

For me, those glance and smile were born of their subconscious their private moment stolen by the camera and worth diamonds on this ship.

@eLizza Wow even January Jones is a convert! The love story in CLOY is truly transcendental and knows no bounds when it comes to international appeal. Gah I’m always so jealous when I read about someone discovering the magic of CLOY for the first time, wish I could go back lol
