My hearts skips a beat seeing the way KJY looks at SIA giving speech after winning. Why do you have to look at her with such soft gaze and affection?dam*. My shipper heart just could not take it. And he looks so handsome and dapper in velvet suit.  I might forget what he just did to uri Cheong Ah, thanks to that suit.

Seol In Ah looks super beautiful. I wish she would opt for brighter colors coz she'd be pretty in anything. Oot, I still don't get why majority of Korean actresses and celebs choose to wear white in every award show. But I'm still a proud mamabear seeing her on the stage. Go In Ah!

A little late in sharing but In episode 26 I found myself loving the close up and personal way in which this writer clearly shows us how all to often we don't say what we should to someone but instead choose to hide it and say it to another.  That facing or even knowing our very own feelings isn't always as easy as we want to believe.  That somewhere between hate and love, a grudge and forgiveness there is a very fine line.  When something should be so simple like really letting go becomes so hard.   Because loving someone whether you know how much or not, or even have said the words out loud or in silence.  Yes, even someone whom hurt you beyond belief but you shared a life with isn't always so easy to let go of.

 

I hate a cheater let me say that first and yet there is a part of me that felt taken back a bit in knowing that sometimes in relationships it just isn't as simple as good or bad.  That often it's a breakdown between two people whom just for what ever reasons lose sight or in this case maybe never realized what they both had from the start. 

 

Still it is MTR that I admire the most for the way in which he loves beyond himself and understands that distance for a moment might no matter what direction KSA should choose it is her happiness that means more to him than anything.  The fact that he already has given her so much and helped her grow in so many ways.  He knew what was best and it wasn't that he wanted to let go.  It was his way of allowing her to grow even more in having her freedom to stand on her own and find her own way.  In not just liking one or the other but in knowing without a doubt whom it is that she loves and is willing to freely say it out loud.

Hoping those very words are said to him.

Kim Jae Young had a good year. 2 male lead roles, his first award.... I saw him just in Secret Boutique (I do not remembered him in Black, maybe vaguely) but I will recognize him from now on.

It’s nice to see they won awards. Last year the lead actress also won a KBS award for her daily drama Sunny Again Tomorrow. It was the first and probably last Korean award show I would watch. I don’t even watch the Oscars, Emmys, Grammy, etc. anymore.
 

Happy to see both actors playing the cousins won too.  I just remembered that Oh Min Suk also played the fiancée for SA’s actress in Nine: Nine Time Travelers. I had forgotten. Anyway, I don’t dislike JW because I found mercenary, selfish, shallow SA equally bad as cheating JW. They just need to move on now.

I really enjoy reading all the comments and am so glad to have found this group.

 

I know that in other sites I have seen that the ratings for Beautiful Love, Wonderful life isn't as high as in other weekend KBS dramas like Mother of MIne or Tailors of Wolgeysu.  But I think that reason for it is in those dramas, the other relationships in the drama had interesting storylines that people followed.  For me, I really only watch the drama for Cheong Ah and Jun Hwi scenes.  Even though Tae Rang is sweet, the scenes with him and Seol Ah, aren't very captivating or interesting to me.  I wonder if the actors that they chose to play Tae Rang or Seol Ah could have been different? Yoon Park seems really sweet but I wonder if another actor or even another actress other than the actress that plays  Seol Ah would have been better.  It was interesting at first when Jin Woo was in an accident and then Seol Ah found out about the affair but afterwards, I just lost interest with the parts where Tae Rang is getting closer to Seol Ah. Maybe if I gave it more of a chance to watch them, I would like them but I only enjoy the Cheong Ah and Jun hwi scenes.  I do like the scenes with Jin Woo though. One of my favorites is when he was drunk and he was talking with his ex father in law and ex sister in law.  

 

 I think that might be why it is hard for this drama to get a rating of 30 percent because it's the Cheong Ah and Jun Hwi scenes that I feel is the main draw/ attraction.  I think the storyline is very interesting and the love that  has developed for Cheong Ah by Jun Hwi is so precious and beautiful to watch.  

 

Something else that I wondered about is for those who saw the KBS Awards Show, did you notice how the interviewer who was interviewing some of the actors and actresses was right by the Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life Cast but he didn't interview them and started the interview from the actor that was sitting right now to Oh Min Suk.  Then he congratulated the 2 actors who won the Rookie Award but Kim Jae Young who also won it was in that same row.  It seemed sad.  But is it because their drama is still going on and maybe the interviewer didn't want to put them on the spot? 

 

But I am glad that the the cast won the awards that they did.  Even though the drama's ratings may not be as high as other past weekend dramas, I think the fact that they did win awards shows that they are really doing a great job in their roles.  I thought that they would be at a disadvantage because their drama is still going on but am glad that they were acknowledged.  I did watch 3 other 2019 KBS dramas that had a few nominations for some of the actors/ actresses but out of those 3 dramas, it was just 1 actress for Home for Summer who one and then 1 actor and 1 actress for Mother of Mine who also won.  But for Beautiful Love, to have 3 actors/ actresses win an award was really amazing to see.  

 

My last question is why is Kim Jae Young considered a rookie when he has been acting for a couple of years.

Yes, I noticed this too. Yeah, it's so sad. But I think it's more because the BLWL cast is not as popular as those whom the emcee interviewed.

I'm thinking that the reason could be it's KJY's first lead role in a KBS drama. 
I'm not sure abut Kang Tae Oh, but I think it's the same for L, i.e. his first lead role in a KBS drama.

Same I am on board for the development of the relationship between Cheong Ah and Jun Hwi. 

And yes sigh...the OTP don't get very much screen time together. But in the recent episodes there's an improvement. Hopefully this continues into the second half of the drama.

Yay !!!! @stroppyse you are here . Me and @angelangie’s hard selling paid off .  I’m here mainly for CA & JH’s love line , of course only started this for Kim Jae Young ( yes actually watching a weekend drama for the love of oppa ) . The father annoys me no end. He pretty much left the raising of his family to his wife & became a useless bum. I would have ditched him a Long time ago if he was my husband.
