@kokodus hope you're not positive too, and if you are, may you recover quickly.

 

@Thong Thin MS updates can get messy, so rather than immediately updating when they release the updates, I've set up mine to inform only if there are new updates, and I decide when to install those. I usually do 10 days after the update is released.

 

@Wuzetian Oh my, I'll be very disappointed if my new laptop is like that. Especially if it's having higher specs.

 

@joccu Gaming laptops are also very good. My sib once asked me to shop him a gaming laptop because it's much cheaper here then sent it to him. The Acer I got him looked very sleek and is so smooth, and I really like the back-lit keyboard. When I have to replace the HP,  I'm planning too for gaming laptop.

I took a full blood test yesterday, result out. Finally the culprit is my liver acting up again. My Gamma GT shot up 60 when the ideal range is between 7 to 42.

 

Last happened was Dec 2017 where I was hospitalized for 2 weeks. 

 

Seems I have to visit the specialist Gastro again next week.

@Thong Thin, this is what he said - that anything above 30 IU/L could be a sign that your liver isn't working the way it should. He said that several types of liver disease can cause a rise in GGT, including: viral hepatitis. High levels of GGT in the blood could indicate that the enzyme is leaking out of the liver cells and into the blood, suggesting damage to the liver or bile ducts. A typical range for GGT levels in adults and children is between 0 and 30 international units per liter (IU/L). In general, the higher the level, the greater the damage to the liver. He asked me if you "binge drinking." - hahaha - He advised you to flush out your liver with plenty of water intake. High GGT levels have many factors : including alcohol, cardiovascular disease and diabetes. GGT levels may be increased due to medications, too.

@MayanEcho I was pretty frustrated at that point of time because I was using it for heavy duty work and because of the constant crashes I still had to depend on my old broken but faithful HP. All in all it took away 3 mths just for repairs...Wasting of time...

 

@joccu Yes I'm still trying to figure out how to buy the tickets. If buy on Youku app, can replay the concert for 10 years! On Youku Youtube premium channel, it's a monthly recurring charge which I find expensive. Though many said cancel after 1st month but not sure how easy. And they didnt mention that you can view for 10 years. Apparently now because of this paid content, episode 34-36 is not accessible unlike how we used to wait for the free release for Eng subs. It's really wrecking havoc...So I'm not sure if they ever going to release the last 3 episodes for free...Sigh...

 

@larus For me it is, coz I love having the flowers in my meals! It makes them so delicious! Here are some pictures being used in the dishes...Can you see the reddish grated stuff on top? That's the one. This flower is widely used in Thai cuisine and Malay cuisine.
