Not sure what is your preference.  I usually will go for noodle soups or fried noodle for lunch.  Sometimes sandwiches.

i was out running some errands.. topping up some foodstuffs cos.. i need to extend my wfh for another 2 weeks..!! NOOOOOO...... i was so looking forward to going back office next week

 

bought some insane croissants which were REALLY DARN GOOD!!! and had a good cup of latte on my way back..

then went out again to bring some groceries to my mom's place and dinner there!

 

@Thong Thin take care! perhaps try ask the doctor for some advice on the diet that will not stress the liver too much..

Thanks for the egg tarts pic -- 

Is that how they sell fried carrot sticks in Singapore ..?   I would love that .. ours served in plate like fried noodle style.

nono.. the one in the photo u posted is the fried carrot cake either white or black (sweet sauce).. the carrot cake i mentioned, is like the kuih type.. usually in rectangle or triangle.

Ahh, we call it turnip cake (chinese lo bak go) - same as yours?
If yes, it's sold rectangle , served with sweet sauce and chilli sauce.

somewhat similar.. cai tau kueh (the whole piece).. and cha cai tau kueh (the chopped ones fried white/black).. 

 

@gm4queen now i'm feeling hungry again! i only had some fried meat strips.. mom coated strips of chicken and pork in biscuit crumbs and fried them.. ate with ketchup! @Min2206 yes, u'll be surprised.. NO KEWPIE MAYO!!! hahaha
