OMG this episode!

the last bit of the episode became straight up thriller. JH confronts his mom. Jenny and household lady are locked into basement drowning in water...Jenny have flashbacks of her mom dying on ambulance bed while underwater. someone save them, save Jenny please!

teaser for next week: no appearance of Jenny at all in promo :sweatingbullets: sneaky sneaky. I’m dying with anticipation how she will be saved from basement flooded with water. SBS you better not pull out more shenanigans with those baseball games.

I can't believe what I saw.... was that tears from KYO? Can't believe she still has tears...<_< O yes, tears of fear maybe, that soon she will lose her queendom.

What kind of wine cellar basement is that where water can be pumped in and flood the whole room... whatever for? Sigh, all those expensive wine gone... this kind of torture/murder reminded me of the cement mixture in The Last Empress

So JJ is nowhere to be seen in the preview. Is she alive or not? The stack of papers in the preview are supposedly letter of last words... KYO is planning to make JJ's death a suicide? I am not sure what to look forward to, seeing that JJ is already submerged in water at the end of episode, and JH still arguing with his mother, SW not at the location, who could have saved JJ and Wang? Don't tell me it's YN and Cha?

That’s an interesting thought! YN is sick of her mother esp since both baby daddy and fake daddy life is in danger and also her biological father is now dead due to her mom.

maybe she realized that it’s time to humble herself and seek help from someone who could damage her mom. That would be most brilliant!

KYO is just like what Cha describes her... one who would not hesitate to sacrifice a family member to serve her own benefit... I had hoped that slap Hwang received would wake him up, but I guess not <_<... Can't wait to see what will become of KYO by the end of the drama.

Gloomy gloomy gloomy! Jenny's actons were more subdued in this episode then the last and even SunWood looked worned out. This revenge thing is taking a toll on them.

Jenny clearly saw the tea cup in the next room after the meeting with Monk Unsan. That should have spur her sharp mind into action. Nooooo!! She went into 'i know you know but I know you need me' talk with the devil smh

Hahaha prison are made for the poor because the rich with connections can get out at their whim. HJ is a smart Go player and supposedly apt at reading people but this time I think her anger is blurring her vision.

Okay Jenny is human after all she didn't see that last move by KYO coming. jH should just make a call to SunWoo instead of that useless pleading with his mom.

Can someone upload the preview for ep14. Where I watched it there wasn't a preview but some commercial came up.

Someone should give the Chairwoman Kim's bodyguard/lover? An extra large size jacket... ive been seeing it since ep1 where his jacket was either too short or too small that he cant even buttoned it properly, haiz...

Also, yes why didnt Jenny Jang bring any bodyguard with her when she was meeting with her great granduncle? Haiz... its really doesnt make sense to miss those details.... now watching 15min of the episode...

watching eps 12 ...ehhh how come I was crying at the gangster and his mum’s scene ? . Felt terrible about how HJ is finding out about her mum’s “death “ . I can understand why she’s lost it . I think I would too . Poor gal , she & her mum are indeed collateral damage. But I have a suspicion  Ye Nam’s cop lover did not kill her . He helps YN clean up but I’m not sure if he’s capable of murder .  Let’s hope I’m right ....

Also some great emotional scenes by Long leg oppa - you can tell how suffocated he feels but they have come too far . Felt a stab in my heart when Jang Hyuk was describing his “childhood “ to the Deo elders. Those were the words Jenny told him , how painful it must be for Jenny . I somehow hope she’s clued in that JH is putting up this act to protect her .

I often wonder what’s Ye Nam’s attractive qualities that two men would “love” her ... . What’s really surprising is how close and how fond the prosecutor husband is of YN’s daughter Su Bin .Maybe at the end of the day , it’s Su Bin they ( the two men)  both love and care for

Hwang and OhTaeSuk are two of a kind. Both are hopelessly devoted to a fake Wi, at least OhTaeSuk have realized it. Maybe Hwang needed more then a slap:D

ps

Thanks @triplem for the preview of ep14. Didn't see Jenny in it. okay so speculate speculate. Its impossible that that they make her die, she is the FL and we have three eps to go. YangOh was showing HyunJi a video of OhTaeSuk dragging her mom? Maybe JungHyeok has somekind of deal with his mom because he has the slush funds and all the monies in his account.

Urgh .... how can Jenny survive that watery hole, if Sunwoo didnt come crashing in????....

Its annoying sometimes, at one point they (Jenny and Sunwoo)  act like gangsters hence many men around them but most times their men went missing at crucial points... yes yes i know its drama...

Ugh, I cannot stand the way the Chairwoman speaks. 3 words..dramatic pause, 4 gravelly whispered words, dramatic pause, 3 words...squint, side eye, dramatic pause...If she was trying to scare me, or boss me around, I'd be rolling my eyes in exasperation before she got half a threat out.

I'm also quite frustrated by Jenny's revenge plan. Why on earth have Uncle Monk vouch for her at that meeting saying he couldn't reveal the full story yet? Just reveal all of it. Like, a DNA test will prove those scheming greedy people aren't really the Wi family. If the board was told this information, they have the power to force a DNA test on all of them. Why does the plan have to involve hurting innocent people, and leaving chances for the evil imposters to attack and scheme?

Also, why does everyone have important meetings, discussing secret information in those traditional tea houses/restaurants when the walls are literally paper thin?

What exactly is the purpose of Hyun Ji now? It's not likely that this would end with her successfully getting revenge against Jenny. Yet to see her suffer defeat, again, will just be unnecessary cruelty to a character that has been kicked too many times by our leads. I don't get her purpose in the show from here on out. Before I imagined she was a tool to bring Jenny and Sun Woo together, plus a person who showed us Jenny's humanity. But now, she's a side note that seems obsolete within the rest of the story. Hopefully she'll serve some purpose other than her own angst. Currently shes just the shows torture/suffering porn, which personally, I'm not into.

@imgreatgal here's the translation of the preview

Hyun Ji :  What happened on the yacht that day?..............I need to know what my mum was doing there

Gangster ahjussi : This will ruin the international city project

Sun Woo : I didn't do it for it to end like this . Now there's no going back.

Jung Hyuk: I'll tell the world.  Who Do Young is and who we are.

Sun Woo : I got the confession of the maid who lured her to the basement.

Kim YO: What does she mean to you

Jung Hyuk: I lost my love one and she's the only one that I have left.

Kim YO: They're dead already

Jung Hyuk: If I lose her too , I have no reason to live.

------------------------------

Ahhh the last couple of episodes felt  slow to be honest even though a lot seem to have happened. Maybe  it feels  like things are going around in circles and I almost forgot what was the ultimate plan to bring KYO down.  Yes, the idea is to get KYO to pour every single cent she had into the project and make her lose it .... I am glad my girl HJ is out of jail but I don't know if not telling her the truth is going to keep her safe from KYO :sweatingbullets:, that woman disposes anyone as she likes.

I think ultimately KYO really loves her son JH and he will use his life to barter for Jenny's ..so she will get her men to release Jenny.  Or Sun Woo will somehow miraculously appear and fight off all those guys and save Jenny. . And you know what they say...if you don't see a body , the person may still be alive...so that's why I think HJ mum and Jenny will be fine.

I just watched the episode 13 with subtiltes. I know that everyone feel like it was a slow episode but I like some slow episodes in a drama that has many heartbreaks. I might have a problem with some plot elements but I try to ignore everything and concentrate on what I like. I try. Let see if I will manage to not say anything. We still have three episodes left.

My favorite scene was when  Jenny/Do Young and Monk Woon San say goodbye at the bus station.

Jenny said to Sun woo that even if she will need Woon San, she won`t call him again because he could be in danger. I am glad that Jenny has someone from her biological family and I hope he will be fine.

I like the scene because Monk Woon San empathized  with his grandniece (he knows the whole story because he called her the only grandniece). He has a great experience of life and wisdom to know what she had gone through and that she doesn`t need to hear how the revenge will turn out to be useless in the end. As much as he wants her to not continue to her revenge because she will hurt herself, he knows that he can only hope that she will be alright in the end and that she needs to go on her way. He told her that she only thing that she needs is just one person from the family to recognise her, to comfort her. He reasured her that if she can`t hold any longer she should quit everything and come to him. These are the words that she needed all this time. I really hope they will meet in the end after they both will be safe.

Now all I want to know is how Jenny will get out of the basement on time. I think Jung Hyuk went to his mom to plead with her to release Do Young because he did not know that she will kill her right away. Sun woo was not there to save her. I wonder who did it.

Someone from the family? Ye Nam and her husband? But how? We saw that Jung Hyuk could not approach the basement when he was there. We`ll find out in the comming episodes.

How Kim Yeo Ok came with the idea to kill Jenny and Ms Wang together in the basement in the Wi property, on Jenny`s birthday party? How she will say that the incident took place? An accident? And where all this water came from? Does a wine cellar needs so much water near by? Again someone chose the hard way to dispose of somebody. Let say that they both are dead. Kim Yeo Ok will call the police or Hwang will hide the bodies? So much complication. If they are dead or that they were saved on time, Hwang will find out. How they will explain that?

Does he changed his mind in the last minute? I don`t think Kim Yeo Ok will order him to save Jenny. But who knows?

I thought maybe Monk Woon San put someone to watch his grandniece to be fine. Or maybe both Ye Nam and her husband saved them or even Oh Tae Suk. I really want to have a plausible explanation from the writer about what happened with Jenny and Ms Wang. And how Kim yeo ok won`t find out about what really happend afterward.

Yeah! I felt that the drama kind of lost its momentum because it was preemted a couple of times because of the baseball game.

I think that part in the preview where JungHyeok says he will tell the world who DoYoung is and who we are must really scare KYO into letting go of Jenny. We'll see. There better not be anymore baseball.^_^

She will be alive. After all, its all about her 'revenge'

HJ is the one who I worry the most about because I care the most about. I hope she gets to be with her mother and leave this whole sorry lot of people behind once and for all.
