Thank you for the screencaps @ohoheli . I swear if they had done a separation, I would have flipped my computer. All the actors were daebak in this episode. From Jennifer to Woo Jin to Seo Ri to Chan and even Deok Gu! Not to mention the actors playing the younger counterparts *applause*

I am getting my heart ready to watch this episode again with subs and this time I will prepare lots and lots of tissues because I am sure the heartpain will be 100x worse when I understand what they are saying!

Omg these two versions of adult and young actors. Both made me teared up. Good job.

Hmm did Chan tore up an expired passport? How did WJ still board the plane without it unless he is only going to Jeju

Although it's eye rolling kind of cliché, the two young ones look pretty cute together too

The torn passport showed 2017 as expiry year...

What is this! Sobbing my eyeballs out after the letter...

That makes majority of us here! OMG finally back to a classic episode.

Epic unexpected moment, when WJ turned up again, that opened the floodgates for me. A HUGE smile and tears of happiness.. this canNOT get better for me. His true confession, fear of never seeing her again that make him turn back, he would rather make it up to her and be by her side than to hide away again. Now that is what I call a mature MAN in LOVE who is responsible! You have truly grown Woo-jin

This, and their kiss! THE BEST of the whole series for me :D

KYAHhh!!

I cried so so so much tonight :(

Do we have 2 (1 hour) eps left? or 4 (1 hour)?

I think the remaining time will be great time to unleashes mystery around Seori's family

Spoiler

And wow! the guy who has been paying for Seori's hospital fees is the truck driver, isn't he? so we have uncle's mystery farthest to be solved. I hope we still have 4 eps left tho instead of 2 because I need more romantic scenes between our first loves couple <3

there is really no bad guy in the drama, isn't there? tonight's ep just makes me LOVE LOVE LOVE this drama so much more!!!

Wow... some of our guesses are on the dot!

Was hoping like SR that WJ will go back to the bridge and yes he did.

Glad that it ends like that for this week.

Yes we were right ... he went back to the bridge! Yay!

I just read all the posts since latest episode finished.

I shall never see an overhead pass the same way again. I'd probably have a goofy grin on my face every time I see one or use one.

This is the best drama, and with the best lot of you here. Saranghae

I enjoy the angts & the emotions in this episode. The angst was used nicely and just enough without dragging on. All 3 actors (Edit: and Deok Gu) were slaying our hearts, but I ♥ it. Hope to cry more when the subs are out (hahaha). Flaw it may be for this drama, but I'm glad the "I promise I will not disappear" is addressed and used properly as the reason Woo Jin didn't leave. I think he also said he's scared he'll never see her again because he loves her so. His letter to Seo Ri, even though I can't understand 100%, but I could feel the emotions behind the narration so bravo to Yang Se Jong on that.

Spoiler

So the mystery man is finally revealed to be the driver.

The mystery left now is how Jennifer lost her baby, why did she become like this now (although I half expected it's something to do with he was on his way to meet her requested by her and the accident happened & she blamed herself) and what really happened to uncle and aunt? It is disappointing at this point that it all points to them really abandoning Seo Ri. At least the aunt made the choice to abandon her - even if it was because she needed to live as well and take care of her baby.

P.S. For a moment there, I thought Deok Gu will fall sick because of his owners. Phewww...that'd kill me more than seeing the humans in pain!

I felt like I was holding my breath for the entirety of this episode until the end where I'm just like phewwwww. Woojin and his letter made me tear up. I wasn't like sobbing but my eyes were watery. This is why Seori called him a dummy. He's a huge dummy for thinking that she won't want him anymore. :tears: This episode was angsty AF so I'm hoping for the cutesy moments to return next week. I need healing.

Spoiler

LOL at Channie trying to block Mr. Gong from leaving. When he tore up his passport, I was like good job! Another gold medal for you!

When Woojin came back at the overpass, omfg I internally screamed (I have roommates, can't actually scream). Yesssss. :D I was like 50% sure he was going to come back but the other 50% was like omfg if these writers do a time skip thing where he comes back later looking like bigfoot again, imma cut someone. But nope. He came back, held her hands, and just laid out all the love he has for her.

Looks like Seori is going to reveal that it wasn't actually his fault she got into the accident. I'm sure she planned to get off at that stop anyway. She knew where she was going but used asking for directions as an excuse just to talk to him.

@thistle Couldn't agree more! Adding to WJ's running away, his character is written in a way such that he is so innocent and pure, after all these years he's still feeling guilty about the death of a girl he only gave directions to?

Actually, it was a little bit more than gave directions.

If I recall correctly, when WJ gave directions, he told SR that the place she wanted to go to, was located between 2 bus stops, but slightly nearer to the 2nd stop, and he specifically told her to alight at the 2nd stop instead of the first.

That is the source of his guilt, because he concluded that if he had not "interfered" and told her specifically to alight at the 2nd stop i.e. had she simply alighted at the 1st stop (or chosen to alight at 2nd stop of her own accord and not due to his "insistence"), she would not have been involved in the accident at all. His "interference" in her life (though out of goodwill so that she need not walk a longer distance) had caused her misfortune, thus he feels he should stay out of other people's business henceforth.

This is like the young HT who told her he wanted to get married to her when they were students.  For  a while he forgot he is now a doctor not just a friend.  Glad that they showed us how SR told him to give her some time to get to know him again as adult.

I was quite touched when he told WJ that his wanting to help SR was what spurred him (who used to do badly for his studies in his teens) on to become a doctor, and he took college entrance exams 4 times....woah!

He may be quite blunt in his ways, but he does truly care for SR as a friend too. His colleague commented to SR that he lost 2 friends at a young age and that affected him, so SM might have also been somewhat of a good friend to him as well.

And on the overall, he hasn't really been pushy nor has he forced his attentions on SR. He could have been too overwhelmed by emotions when he first hugged her, but I thought that's understandable, considering how worried he has been over her disappearance and in her state (after being in coma for 13 years).

@mademoisellesia, SR already accepted those things about her uncle and aunt so hopefully it will hurt a little less. The uncle is already established as someone who lied by saying he’s out of the country when he was still in Seoul. I kind of like that some realities are not sugarcoated. I don’t know what happened but now Soo Ri has a new family that’s there for her no matter what the future might hold for her in terms of her uncle and aunt.

It'll definitely still hurt a lot (because they were her last family left, and blood-related too), but it's for sure that it'll be addressed next week and gave her (and us) closure. Definitely don't need Show to sugar-coat all their characters, but because there's no villain in this show, it will mean they all have their "own reasons". Whether or not that reason is justifiable, it'll be each to our own and Seo Ri's. Like you said, she's found a new family so she at least is not alone and can rely on them for support. Thank goodness for that.

Exactly this!  He just shows up out of nowhere in the hall like he was looking for her.  That was a huge storyline gaff.  It would have made more sense if HT was some sort of orthopedic specialist that would be working on Chan's ankle and as he came around to examine him in his room, HT would have seen SR by Chan's bedside.  Not only was it a story error, it was not even edited very well.  Sigh, they are rushing to get this done now and it is showing in these types of errors.

His colleague was with the other doctor examining Chan and I thought I noticed him looking at SR. I think they wanted to make it appear like the colleague recognized her name or face and told him about her being around. The problem is, neither of this was indicated, so it felt quite awkward indeed.

@mademoisellesia, agreed. I’m sure they have their reasons even if it’s plain selfishness. It’s a flaw that without exception all human beings suffer from. They put their interests first especially when faced with a difficult situation. I’m glad that Soo Ri met WJ, YC, Jennifer and all the others. Ultimately they all all treated her well including her new boss.
