  1. 1. I am planning to watch (choose as many as you like)

    • Dare to Love Me with L oppa. Aspiring webtoon writer in a noona romance (anyone is a noona now; she's only 2 years older than him, peeps).... (May 13)
    • The Brave Yong Soo Jung with Uhm Hyun Kyung unnie. Free spirited lady who is shy is secretly in love with a chaebol. But she meets the poor ML who is unknowingly also a chaebol. (May 6)
    • Bittersweet Hell with Kim Hee Sun unnie. Best psychological counselor and her MIL face each other's secrets due to their husband and son. Ready for showtime! (May 24)
    • Not Strong But Attractive Homicide Squad with unknown people - not even 4evrkdrama's oppas. A comedy crime investigation drama featuring people with few muscles. (May 22)
    • Connection with Ji Sung oppa. A crime investigation thriller depicting the distorted friendship of friends while tracking the death of a high school friend who died leaving behind 5 billion won in insurance money. Sounds intensive.(May 24)
    • The Midnight Romance with Wi Ha Joon oppa. Featuring abs. Who cares about the plot? (May 11)
    • Frankly Speaking with Go Kyung Po oppa. Crazy comedy. Probably only agenth, sweetroad and partyon who like this type of humor. (May 1)
    • The Atypical Family with no one's oppa Jang Ki Yong. He has a bad haircut. (May 4)
    • Crash with Heo Sung Tae who always plays an evil baddie. Looks like he might play a good guy for once. (May 13)
    • Begins Youth with Seo Ji Hoon oppa. Losely based on BTS's journey to success. (April 30)
    • Uncle Samsik. The plot sounds boring. Not gonna lie. (May 15)
    • The 8 Show with the guy who was just in a scandal. You know, Ms. Koko's oppa. Yes, that one. (May 17)

I have to say he's an actor that looks very good in period costume. It's not for everyone.

Park Hyung Sik oppa looks great in sageuk costumes.

Sadly, it's a sageuk. So no, won't be watching it...

I'm hispanic (Mexican heritage) and I don't know what the bottom two dishes are.. I'm going to have to research that.

Am not hispanic, but I have been traveling a lot in hispanic countries and haven't heard of those dishes either.

French - Coq au vin

It's a really nice dish - I like to make it this time of year when it's colder outside. :kiss_wink:

A nice recipe to try is also the Coq au vin made from white wine (typically Alsace Riesling) and cognac instead - called Coq au Riesling (vin d'Alsace). :glasses:

Here's a recipe:

Have you seen this video? So funny and cute.

I don’t know that show but it has some Coffee Prince and Meteor Garden/Pineapple Head vibes.

@partyon @agenth and @larus Guess the Daily Mail did their job well because I’m still thinking about that Prince Harry article from yesterday.  So. Many. Details. :w00t:

Oh~  What's your favorite Mexican dish?  What other hispanic dishes do you enjoy?

Thank you for the suggestion!  I LOVE recipes.  I am always collecting new ones whenever I find one.  I have a packed 3-ring binder full of recipes.

Anyone going to check out Our Blooming Youth with Park Hyun Sik? I think it started today.

This was recommended to me on Viki.  I'm not one to watch ongoing dramas, but I might give this one a try.  Only because PHS looks good in period costume.

@Wuzetian I love mangoes, too but, I only eat this on moderation since this fruit is too high on sugar aside from grapes. Amongst all fruits, I love papaya most.  :Ohboy3:

@sadthe1st  Vegetables and fruits are an important part of a healthy diet, and variety is as important as quantity.

@sadthe1st  Ripe mangoes have hairy parts due to the seed. So, eating too much or when you have cough can cause further irritation with the throat – giving you the cough of your life.   :7555_attack:
