To the shippers....

Here's the thing most non-fans/new fans/shippers don't realize. He may appear goofy and full of laughter which unwittingly makes him seem like a non-serious person but he has always been a private person who values his privacy strictly. Just think about the recent trip to Jeju with newly-minted friend and his inner-circle of friends. None of them have posted about their trip and it will remain that way. 

So when eager excited impulsive shippers run away with their projected feelings and end up messaging them ( I saw screenshot on twitter about some crazed shipper already messaged him) this is exactly the thing that may stop either of them from pursuing one another. If he guards his friendships with his childhood friends/ fellow actors, just imagine how much more he would be careful to guard/protect his potential significant other? Think for a minute. It is not going to help either of them and mostly kge from going forward into whatever they may feel for each other. This kind of intrusive requests may end up being the obstacle that hinders them . from being together. Heck I feel if there's any hesitancy on her part, its these kind of fans/shippers who feel obliged to their life.You may leave comments on their ig as most others have been doing (leaving black hearts under his posts and tagging kge) with supportive comments.

Yes he knows English..yes he may read/yes his agency is aware of this shipping thing. Even he knows how many of us are rooting for them to be together. I saw some comments saying he can disable his message/comments option. Why should he? Just because the option is there...just because you can doesnt mean you should leave comments requesting him to do your bidding.

I highlighted those bits which were too true and I felt so strongly about. Most shippers here claim in words they are mature and fans of both but going through the majority of posts DID NOT feel like those made my mature people. I wont name names but you know who you are. As for this comment, this is mainly due to only in TKEM we believed both KGE and LMH were being themselves in their kissing scenes instead of fully acting as JTE and LG. I think you may have read this comment without referring to the conversation in hand. It was by no means used to demean LMH as we do believe he is a great kisser in acting with his previous costars but with KGE, we believe he actually wanted to kiss her using acting as a means to deliver what he actually wants to do as LMH. The same can be said of KGE since she is also a great kisser when acting with her past costars but in TKEM, as shippers, we believe their real feelings for each other can spill over to their acting scenes.

Where I can agree is not right for us to do is to criticize the actors involved or discredit them or compare them. I can understand why a lot of us here love kge because I love her too. And when we have a bias, of course we show favoritism towards our bias. Heck, everyone here knows I’ll stand up for lmh any day and gush over him. we shippers always say "shipping should be fun" "don't take our actions seriously" etc. etc., yes those phrases would work for us but it wouldn't/couldn't/shouldn't for others. dissecting things to dust, connecting the dots though they are somehow obscure, examining smallest details to fit our narratives have always been one of the natures of shipping. that's inevitable. as long as we don't go overboard or cross the boundaries, it's alright. but it might cause inconvenience in other's parts, and we can't stay blindfolded. we have to see and learn, to be able to respect both opinions. 

 

world has never been black and white, there are other colors representing it. and we have to accept that. there's no definite answer in things we believe we can see through or comprehend. you can go with your own convictions but don't defy the fact that we actually know nothing at all. we would collectively agree on some because we are on the same boat, but when others don't, don't try to guilt-trip them, let them be. say we can be the damage control in here or be the rational or mature ones or whatever, but we can't fully control those who are doing what they are elsewhere. i love people who have passion and always excited doing things they like but we are given limitations.

Where in the universe is our JTE? She must be busy saving the world.  Whoever you are who are monitoring this thread, can you please rely to her, that we missed her IG updates, not necessarily posting cryptic ig post. Just that I've grew attached to her, and missed her.  

 

Me think she's busy doing her work. Please don't give her too much work manager-nim. She usually likes her fellow colleagues if post, when I look and Nari and WDW ig post, she's not liking it. Usually you can spot her liking their pics often. Okay, that is my assumption.

@Layali, as a not very much active commenter but constant reader of this thread, I think I can say that though many shippers here can be overly enthusiastic about their bias and the ship, I believe we're not the type to intrude on the privacy of those two. In fact, those types get easily booted out, imo. Although I personally hate such extreme fan behavior, I am resigned that there's nothing we can do about the fact that they exist and will do whatever they want.   

And although it also worries me about the ship, I also want to trust that if there's something real there, as I believe there is, they will overcome it and will find a way to deal.

I began shipping them ever since episode 4 bts ( her shy eyes while being plonked on the horse and his shy smile) how could one not see what was open for the world to see? I still feel so giddy watching that particular making film. 

I love her too.She's the cutest bean! But I havent been as vocal about it coz most here have already taken care of that. And I'm by no means new to shipping. Yes first time shipping our boy with any FL. I just hope to not see any more comments on here assuming things not related to or based on bts/past interviews ( these comments are made to appear on the sly..and treated as sarcasm ..I can a joke but when it is made targeting only 1 of the OTP most of the time by those who dont know his personality ...it hurts.

I love both LMH and KGE but I don’t know them personally. I am 100% sure though that they are very good with their craft as an individual actor or working as a team. We wouldn’t be hooked with the show if their acting is not convincing, would we? But the behind the scenes speak so much with how they enjoyed each other and were fond of each other — a lot! It’s just a matter of time, maybe when all the hype of their chemistry mellows down, that they will come out and if we are lucky we will get a bunch of selfies or photos of the two of them.

i already noticed this in this forum, the unvoiced bias toward KGE. and actually as a new kdrama addict, i actually liked it. 
In my opinion this forum roots for KGE because we were trying too hard to protect KGE.  due to the fact that LMH will still be there in that pedestal even if this forum collapse. This forum is just one of many and its just that this one is about KGE——more. 
 

i know some of us may have been emotional for telling off but for the 600 pages we created, it had been a trend here. And it always says just go somewhere else. And i was not surprised that we did that.  
 

but now that its out in the open that this forum is KGE-leaning. so to us most in here we should now embrace AND CHANGE for real that LMH is not an actor or just a person that is just behind his 65 mill combined followers of social media platforms.   *That is hell of a feat to do. He controlled scenes even if KGE was there. His acting actually is sooo good that he convinced us he is a king whos commanding in pain happy patient strong and in love. Too in love haha or smitten! From a standpoint of legit non watcher of any LMH work. i loved him now because he is so good in this. I honestly started to like his undeniable handsome elegant look. But he changed that as the drama progressed. 

i know everybody was insulted. Both parties. *less or none to KGE here. And you are hurt because nobody stood up for LMH here. And outside this forum there is war going on. You felt that we abandon the other half of the ship. 
true. But this forum is....not real world. We are just thousands of fans here. We are not the mirror of what is really outside, the world.  I bet you now People love LMH. I will gaurantee you that. 
 

LMH is a personality in our society today(65mill followers) who would be more vulnerable to this. Double edge sword effect of fame i guess. People will want to put him down.  
 

but for the moral of this misunderstanding.to most of us here in this forum, we cant only love one half of the ship. It says that we need to fight also for him. Hahahaha. Protect our ship not just KGE! hahaha. 
 

They have traversed different opportunities in the acting world(KGE the cult phenomenon MUSE and LMH the BOF where in my country was like ubiquitous when it was shown) it is incomparable for me. So its so unfair we have that bias toward them. Its both hardwork and both had great achievements. Awards should not nullify someones skills. And popularity should not Shadow hardwork.

 

again i know one KGE fan saying sorry would not suffice. But we need you here! your opinion because its so nice to understand LMH. i am still amazed about him. 65 million. How is he doing that. Everyday somebody just realized oh i need LMH in my life. Follow click subscribe follow! He has influence. I believe Because he cares for hs fans very generous and about his work he is actually as passionate like KGE. And Why would he get this blessings right? He did something right in his life i bet you that! Good karma!

Hahaha chingu, thank you for shedding light on one of the most underrated scenes! I loved it! It made me laugh so hard as every bodyguard rushed to compliment LG while JY was totally unimpressed 

 

I enjoyed TKEM for so many reason. Towards the end, I forgot that I laughed so much at the beginning. For reals, this calls for a rewatch!
