[Drama 2018] My Healing Love, 내 사랑 치유기

I think the reduction of 20 episodes will be amply padded by the ubiquitous time leap.

Somebody would fly to somewhere, maybe the alternate couple. There should be a happy ending of some sort for good people.

It is difficult for me to accept that a man would stay by the side of a woman who deliberately removed his only daughter from his side, watched him and the Grandmother grieved, and for 33 years did everything to prevent her return. Even in the last few episodes, the evil woman had not repented, at least to herself. But this is KD and the ratings and sentiments of Koreans probably demand a forgiveness all round ending.

I think CW's father will have a lot of anger and resentment as will Halmoni. Basically JS was beside them the entire time knowing how they suffered for CY's disappearance and she pretended she knew nothing while acting like she cared and was trying to find her. He will see it as having brought in this woman who in turned harmed his daughter allowing him to miss out on 33 years of her life. Not to mention the shame of having to face Halmoni who will also place blame on him as well. Its his wife and she harmed the last blood relative. There is also the shame to his former wife CY's mom for allowing this woman to come in and hurt their daughter after her death.  It will be very hard for him to forgive her.

JS does not deserve to be forgiven and she should be made to pay for her crimes, but JY and YY are innocent and have nothing to do with what JS did. They should not be punished for what JS did to CY even though she will say it was for JY it was truly for herself and this is an argument I expect someone to bring up.  JY was already accepted as a son of CW's dad so there was no reason for her to do something like this. Halmoni would have eventually warmed up to the boy especially with CY's help so there was no reason for her to abandon CY so her argument there is going to be blown up. And It's for sure that JS will throw this in Halmoni's face wait and see. They will not be able to look at her after she dares to say that Halmoni was mean to JY and she saw it as a way for JY to be accepted. I do not think that JS fully understands what she did. She tried to cut off the roots of Halmoni's and her husbands blood family and replace it with herself and her son. Its just fortunate that she has good children it could be worse and they be just like JS.

When this comes out it could cause problems perhaps with YY and CW's adopted brothers relationship I think. He loves his Noona and may reconsider the relationship with YY because of JS's actions. If this does happen then I can see YY so angry at her mom all over again for what she has done.

Even if CW deals with her personal troubles with her spouse, I don't want CW to forgive or her be in the midst of them all.  Even though she will be a bridge with Halmoni and JY and YY, I want them removed from the will and JY removed from the registry.  What ever JS wanted for her children, they should not have it.  I want CW dad to remove himself from the equation so that all the inheritance goes to CW and no one else.

Let both JY and YY work like commoners and live on their own without Halmoni wealth.  That was what caused all this problem.  Halmoni can decide to give away the wealth to a common cause thereby causing to most havoc to JY.  I can still remember JS face when she said, it would only be a matter of time that JY would inherit everything.

JY needs to come off the registry anyway in order for CW and him to even be together. I think that it will be both JY and YY who will suggest it. Neither of them are greedy and they may be the ones to suggest this solution. Its the perfect revenge for JS who was coveting something that should not belong to her. If she had just stayed in her lane she would have ended up with her children inheriting as part of the family along with CW but her actions will cause her to loose all she tried to gain for the last 33 years.

Her additional punishment should be to see JY and CW be together and YY and CW's adopted brother be together. The two things she did not want to happen will.

What irked me the most about JS character, is her behavior when they found out CW was dead and they went together to see the (dead) CW.  This character did not even show any remorse and both the grandmother and the father was so overcome with grief, I was so traumatized and hated JS so much.  Her conversation with CW later, the next day was just incomprehensible - telling her that their daughter was dead.  Karma had a different road for her to travel and CW came to see her grandmother just a couple of minutes before she could come home with GP.  If JS was there, she would have blocked it again

That's because JS never wanted CW to come back. She hoped to have her gone for good so her way would be clear for her children and herself. It's why she tried so hard to keep CW away when she saw those clothes and realized the possibility of CW being CY. Then when they mentioned that CW being around could return her memory she really started to panic and tried to have CW sent away abroad to study to keep her from remembering and exposing the truth. JS never felt sorry for what she did to CY and she never will.  Even though JS has been in that family for 33 years and seen the pain and anguish her husband and Halmoni had about CY she never felt bad for what she did. If she truly had felt remorse she would have never have tried to keep CW from coming back.

Fate and karma fixed JS and made sure that it was her who in the end enabled CW to come back home. All her plotting and planning ended up with her putting the picture in Halmoni's room and allowing CW to see it having them realize it was the missing CY.

Now all her words and actions in the past will be remembered by Halmoni and her husband once JS exposes what she did. Her excuses then will turn into sinister motives once they realize the clues were in front of them all along they chose not to believe someone so close could do that and they will feel like they had a two faced evil person beside them for all those years. Even if she tries to say she took care of them to make up for it who would want to accept an excuse like that. They would have rather had CY back then accept her fake , planned kindness.

I think in the end JS will be made to realize how she hurt her own children by her greedy actions. IF she is smart she will accept whatever punishment for tampering with the DNA and anything else she did since she can't be prosecuted for the abandoning anymore due to the statue of limitations. I think divorce and going to jail or leaving are in her future.

If there is a time jump we may see JY or CW going away and building that dream home they both talked about and then reuniting.

I can understand YY and JC 's case since he is not wealthy, she did not want that union and the way she behaved when she found out that YY was seeing JC.

Why not JY and CY.  Now with the secret outed, CY will be rich and JY will be poor (assuming? compared to CY and the family unit is anyway broken and JY will not inherit grandma 's wealth), so why does she not want this relationship?

It will be a constant reminder to her as to how she destroyed a child's life to covet for her own.  That might be the reason as to why she does not want GP to wear the Christmas dress.  She would be constantly reminded of her wrong doing.

Finally I caught up with all the episodes before the next episodes is on air , Everything is coming to fast for me CW remembering everything, JY putting everything together very quickly & him possibly exposing his mother and her wrongdoing to everyone , what I going to do watching  JY’s mom ‘torturing herself with worry ‘ used to  put me on a relatively good mood all day I enjoyed her suffering :naughty:

She is a cold woman showing no single tears or expression tell she sorry and her not aware the slightest of other feelings, she really show she is a sociopath , but the scene at her mother grave , it was interesting to learn that she grows up in unlovable household, with single  mother that didn’t give her love and happiness she was longing for as a child , wanted to be different from her mother and providing best for her son no matter what , not to be like her mother that allowed her to grow up as fatherless child and probably abused for it that result with a lot of resentment toward her mother , but I still hate her coldness and willingness to stand by and watch an innocent child to suffer for her own gain but I am gonna lie  there is something about her childhood story that that draw a sympathy and almost an understanding, even just in a split second for her , but clearly she got a physiological problem that build up by years and make her mentally ill and  triggers when someone try to hurt her son , for me that explains a lot about her character because she only ever seems to really genuinely and believably show emotions is with her children alone , no one else.

Cool.  Glad you are on board.

If you want to empathize with her as to growing up as a child without a father, does that not apply to CW too.  In CW case, she had already lost her biological mother ; She made sure that CW lost her mother and father and made her an orphan.  That is wrong.  I can understand her insecurities and how she wanted a father for her son.  Does CW not need a mother, she had a grandmother and she lost everyone.  So, sorry, I cannot empathize with what she did.  If it is one rule for your children and another rule for your husband child, you are already being unfair.  She did wrong <period>. No second word about it.  Looking forward to the next 4 episodes in two days.

Me neither ,what she did is wrong but my thoughts was that now we have more information about her childhood story  , I can see she needs help  , doing something as extremely Horrible to another child just for her son to settle into the family and feel part of it something rise a flag for me .

When I watched how hurt and resentment she showed  her mother for growing up without a father , I thought maybe the idea behind the scene was maybe she’s always been mentally ill , and that she always had that opssission to find father figures to her son , when she find it , she wasn’t prepared to let go of it , what I see is she had to choose either to hurt CW’s grandmother or take CW out of pictures let someone else raise her , that’s  why I said she’s  sick  ,her childhood shadow her decision making what ever it was a wrong or right .

I could be wrong but for me I see CW had lucky escape  from this monster , if she didn’t do what she did to her I have a feeling CW would have been neglected or harmed , she would take it all on her every time her child would get emotionally hurt the way grandmother was doing to innocent JY  . I wasn’t surprised that CW didn’t call her a mother when she was young girl  , different from JY who called CW’s father a father straight away , she didn’t warm to CW .

- me too excited and worried about JY he will take on himself to correct his mother wrongdoing, he is a good son .

Well, this was true for CW.  Even though she lost her father, she gained a mother.  She never warmed up to her stepmom at all calling her Ajumma.  I think deep down she might have differentiated between her child and CW and may be CW sensed it.  Children are good at that.  Or maybe CW and stepmom were fighting for Dad's attention.  Her statement when wearing the pearl necklace was "Will I be as beautiful as you?" gives some kind of hint as to how girls want to look beautiful and want that attention from others and in this case, the dad affection got divided with the step mom and the step son.  Earlier she was the apple of his eye and CW though young must have thought so.

But with regards to the grandmother, she was CW's 100%.  She did not want to entertain either JS or JY.  Her demeanor says plenty.  I cannot fault her for her behavior as @Ldy Gmerm said, she lost her own and is not happy that the SIL brought on two new additions to the family.  Even though she might not have said it out loud.  On the other hand, I am sure JS would have probably hunted CW dad - since he is a single father with a rich MIL.  That was what JS was aspiring and probably could not come and stay in the big house that easily.  And even after she did come, it must have not been easy to mingle since grandma was a lioness protecting her cub.

CW is lucky that she met her foster mom who was kind and caring and looked after her even though they did not have much.  She grew up with lots of love and happiness.  Her brother and sister were wonderful growing up.  Cannot say how she would have been if JS had not abandoned her.  She might have been neglected, but grandma is the one with the money string and would not have allowed her to mistreat her.  JS would probably have been thrown out.  Looks at grandma's eyes when JS heads to a room to make a phone call.  Look at her when she wanted to ask CW for the clothes that she wore as a child. Look at her when she wanted to go to the police to find out why they screwed up?  She would not have allowed anything bad to happen to her.  But JY might have grown up with neglect since grandma would not accepted him.  And she has every right not to.  So, I cannot blame her.

I think JS did not want CY and JY together because of what she did to her. Her biggest fear was CY remembering the past and realizing it was her who abandoned her. You can tell she did not like CY at all and I think its a lot to do with her being the blood heir for Halmoni and well loved. JS wanted JY to be received well into that family and it did not start like that. Its why when JY credits CY as being the person who helped him adjust to that new environment JS tells him that is not true or not to say that.

JS could tell that her son liked CY a bit more than siblings and that was a fear for her. JY would have to remove himself from the registry in order to be with CY and I am sure he would do it but then all of her work for the last 33 years would be in vain. That is why I think JY and CY being together anyway and JY asking to be removed from the registry is the perfect punishment for her. She did all of that and did not get what she wanted in the end. Her son ends up without a father on paper and they did not get anything from the family.

Now I know that CY's father and Halmoni after they calm down and CY talks to them will realize that JY nor YY are at fault. They will still have their jobs and I do not think they will tell the company that they are not part of the family either unless the scandal breaks of what JS did. In the end if CY and JS are able to be together he will still benefit as her husband but that was never his goal.

This is something that I mentioned before. CW was really fortunate that JS decided to abandoned her in a area with a lot of Ahjumma's as well as leaving a note in her purse to "raise her well" it could have been much worse and JS could have decided to abandon her in a remote area or kill her out right or CW found the wrong type of people who did something worse to her.

Instead she managed to have the milk lady find her and she ended up with a good family and raised well. She may have had to work a lot and ended up with a horrible mother in law, brother in law and lazy hubby but her early years were for the most part happy after her abandonment.

I think this is also true. In her mind she wanted a father for her son and she felt possibly that CW would not allow her son to have that as long as she was around. She wanted her son to have that close relationship with the father and Halmoni so she got rid of her. She never thought that the man could be shared. I am sure as a child CY may have felt those negative emotions as well and that is why "Eomma" was never used by her. Even though JS acted nice kids can tell certain things instinctively.

JS never tried to see it from Halmoni's perspective. How would this woman feel to have a new woman and child step into a spot her own daughter had to leave early vacant. One instance of Halmoni telling JY not to touch stuff in the house and she decided to abandon CY. If she did not like it so much she should have never stalked CY's dad and intentionally married him nor stayed in Halmoni's house. She could have tried to convince her hubby to live independently but CY would have stayed with her Halmoni. Not sure if he would have done it since his daughter was the only tie left of his late wife but she did not have to do what she did. What JS wanted was for her son to be fully accepted like he was born into the family and for him to get his hands on the riches that he truly did not have any right to. Whatever JY would have gotten now would have been given because Halmoni loved him and saw how good he was but JS's actions are going to loose that for him and YY.

I am not surprised that the writer inserted the childhood deprivation of the evil woman. Almost all of the antagonists in KDs that I had watched were given a redeeming factor, usually some wrong inflicted on them or in this case an unhappy childhood. But I think in real life, someone like the evil woman would be a greedy, covetous person which was why she could not be grateful being brought up by a poor single mother. Others might feel great love and  gratitude seeing how the mother would have slaved away to bring up a child. In 'I have a lover' (2015 that I had just watched) the BIL tried to kill the heroine twice, tried to kill her twin sister, beat up a few people and at the end of the show he was imprisoned for life. However, she forgave him -quite an obnoxious character,  and did not continue her earlier efforts to sic the police on him, it was coincidence that he was caught. His father was wronged by FIL who was a chaebol. Similarly, in Green Rose and the last dance which were the earlier dramas that I had watched, the antagonists were 'wronged' when young.

It could be the belief that people are all born innocent  but the environment turned them evil.

Regardless of how nice JY and YY are, they have benefitted from their mother's marriage and also her evil deed of abandoning CW. Now the mother will most likely lose many things, it is natural that they would lose everything too. I shan't be surprised if CW's father also decides to leave the house and company in penance for his wife's crime.

It is quite interesting that the writer makes the relationship such that CW's father is the in law. If he were the son, then YY would have a claim to the company. CW will be the co owner. In this case, all inheritance is presumably CW's unless her Grandma made provisions for the others.

Everything was mess up from the start , I believe the father should realise that it wouldn’t work , living with ur late wife mother and ur new family  , wouldn’t be easy ride for both parties.

I dont like what she did to CW but nether I like what the Halmoni did to her child is alright , of course that wasn’t first time and wouldn’t be the last time she treated child badly  , so what if her daughter died , the new wife wasn’t the one that killed her , if she agree they could lives with her , she should have swallow her pain and hurt and try her best with them  , abusing and treating the new wife wasn’t the way to go with it  I think behind the CW’s father , I bet she was all fake about the situation and saying what CW’s father want to hear , yes ur like my son I wanted u happy after my daughter death but behind him telling his wife she can be there for  years but she wouldn’t change and accept them .

All the situation was wrong and only the innocent people get hurt , I am sure if CW stay with them , the Halmoni could be mean like this drama I watched years back ‘Beautiful Gong Shim’ not accepting anymore and treated them differently the innocent children .

She might have been neglected, but grandma is the one with the money string and would not have allowed her to mistreat her.  JS would probably have been thrown out.

Thrown out u think so , JY’s mom is a master manipulator , she would have neglected and harming her in secret the other no wiser about it , CW’s wouldn’t dare to tell anybody about it . Maybe even make CW look bad in her dad eyes , the ungrateful child that mistreated her dad wife and new family, the way she was making CW she lost her mind for suspecting her tell she can do anything .

I always thought the way she like to play caring mother that remember everyone favourite food , doing everything to make them happy tell me she like to play mother of the house , good daughter in law , perfect wife  but not the mother for child she didn’t give birth to , she uncapaple to love other people child , so I want to see what she gona do she kind of complicated character .

JS wanted to wash away her past of growing up without a father and make sure her son did not endure that either. Only her actions totally caused another child to loose her roots. This is where others are going to be horrified. Its ok to want to gain roots for your son and legitimacy even if its not a blood relationship but she tried to destroy another persons roots and replace them. CW's father is going to be so upset as he took JY in as his own son and look what JS did to his daughter.

JY has always carried guilt I think of living well while CW was out there somewhere or possibly dead. To learn its his mom who did it and I am sure he is smart enough to realize she did it for him there was no way he could continue to hide that secret. His knowing that the one person he cared about and who helped him adjust as a child in a new environment also knew and is suffering from the knowledge is hiding it for everyone's sake except JS would not sit well for him. JY has seen how her life was in the past and now so his guilt is a lot. YY may not have any guilt because she was not born when CW went missing but I can see her having some now when she learns the truth. I loved the fact that YY was so happy to have a sister only to be ashamed to look at CW when the truth comes out.

So the fall out is doing to be one or both of them may end up leaving the company and house if nothing else to give back to CW.

This is a good possibility. The man will feel guilt and shame to his daughter and Halmoni. JS was the woman he brought into the family. The suffering that Halmoni and even himself suffered is all due to JS who stood beside them for 33 years like she knew nothing and cared about CW let along looked for her. I would not be surprised if he decided to leave the house and company at all. His belief in his own judgment will take a hit. His daughter was harmed under his watch. It will not sit well with him at all. I can see him giving up everything even though he worked hard for years in that company.

I think this is why it will be real easy for YY and JY to walk away from everything. They have no blood ties to Halmoni. They lived well, were well educated and had the benefit of working in the company using the name of the family to live well all really because of the dad and JS false face wanting to be the daughter of Halmoni. But Halmoni has already said that CW is her only blood relative so everything would have gone to her and anything that the dad, JY , YY or even JS got were at Halmoni's desecration.

Halmoni would have taken care of everyone but the moment she mentioned changing her will JS started to panic an was trying to run CW away.

I have said in an earlier post that what Halmoni did to JY was not right.  He was an innocent child but at the same time if JS worried so much about how he was treated then she being in Halmoni's home should have kept him dealing with Halmoni so much. The situation was new and weird on all accounts and CW's father should have dealt with it another way then moving them in. He would have had  money to buy a home or flat for them. I think it was not a one time event with Halmoni either and only with CW around did JY deal with it. But once she went missing I think Halmoni either lashed out more or was just so upset over CW being gone that she did not think of JY anymore.

My main guess is when CW went missing JY who missed her too became a help to Halmoni and the relationship changed. I still think that even with CW there she would have thawed her Halmoni to adjust and accept JY into the family. It was just gong to take time. I am not justifying Halmoni's actions  I am just saying there were other ways to go about trying to thaw her out eventually had JS and the dad thought more on it.

As I recall, I think she added another sentence here, saying that she would not let that happen.  This was when Halmoni wanted to change the will and add CY into it and since could not ask halmoni, she came to the office to talk to JY.

@Ameera Ali - I can try to understand what you are saying about JS, but I cannot fathom losing a child intentionally what ever the reasons.  Since her reasons came from the love for her child - if she was a real parent, she would have walked out of the house and laid rules to CW dad to move out and live separately.  But she kept her mouth shut and ate every abuse till YY birth and this was due to her greed.  She wanted to live as the madam that she wanted to covet from halmoni.  Everything was hunky dory until she figured out that CY was alive.  Did you observe how JS is being moved out with CY coming into the picture.  The latest where CY is in with halmoni and JS moved to the back.  Otherwise Halmoni is with JS together meeting others.  JS already knew that and it would not have changed at all if she did not get rid of CY.  Thankfully CY found someone caring and hence survived.   Halmoni would have been a crappy person and brought her granddaughter up well and made her the madam of Hansoo group.  And both JY and YY would be in the background scared of her or hesitant to talk and be neglected by her.

@Ldy Gmerm - you bring up a good point.  CY was halmoni's blood and JY was not - irrespective of how big hearted a human being is, the pull towards your own is great.  Not that everyone would treat other's children like halmoni.  Irrespective of how close JY or YY would get to halmoni, the minute CY came in and she figured out that it was her CY, she feels that blood connection and she wanted to sleep with her.  Even though she addressed JS nicely and all during all their conversation, there was never a second that there was any loving interaction with her.  But the same thing with her foster mom is completely different.  She finds out from her foster mother on how cY used to freak out if the foster mother was not around.  She found solace since she lost her family and got fed by her and taken care.  I can bet that JS might not have even taken care of CY and it was the grandmother or the help who took care of her.  She even thanked her foster mother that if it wasn't for her, she would never have anyone to call 'Mom'.  JS was and will always be ajumma for CY.  Where as CY dad was a dad to CY and JY.  That is a huge difference.

Exactly, JS never once prolly saw CY as her child instead she saw her as a road block to her own son or daughter. Maybe she did not intentionally go in with this thought (just as a way to play devil's advocate) and only turned this way when she saw her son being mistreated by Halmoni. But again a key point here is CY's dad is not related to Halmoni anymore so they really had no place in that house and the only tie to that home and Halmoni was CY.

But CY's dad took JY as his son as soon as her married the woman and moved her in and in the 33 years that CY was missing he thought of JY as his son. A big difference between JS and CY's father. One saw a child as a road block and  never thought to perhaps be a real mom to her while the other never once saw JS as not his son. Its very telling and I am sure its another nail in JS's coffin when her husband finds out what she did to his daughter. While her son lived the good life his daughter was cast away by her.

CW did right to thank JS. If JS had not abandoned her perhaps her resentment would have grown towards CY and she would have mistreated her more and more. At least her abandoning her enabled her to end up with the adopted mom she has who never once did not see CW as her child. Even her brother and sister all saw CW as their "Noona" and "Oni". Its a big difference between the two families.

One of the key points to mention here is a. CW is her only blood relative and last connection to her daughter and b. guilt for thinking she is the one who lost CW so many years ago. The woman has been in anguish for years over CW. But there is something that always angers me in the K-drama's whenever there is a situation of a possible birth secret we find a few people who are so nasty and disrespectful to the person. Halmoni was a mess to CW too and she truly in my book has not said sorry to her. CW brushed it off because Halmoni is an elder and family but there was no real reason for her to act that way towards CW.

JS's reasons were because she wanted to make sure that CW could not come home and wanted to run her away but Halmoni only had her uppity personality and snobbish behavior along with JS's lies to turn her attitude towards CW nasty. You always should be careful how you treat other peoples children as they may turn out to be related.

If JS was a true parent she would have thought what if it was someone else who had the thoughts she did and JY was taken and abandoned. How would she deal with the loss of JY? JS never thought of it she only thought of herself and her son. JS did not care one bit that her husband would be upset over his daughter being gone. It was cruel and nasty. Forget about Halmoni given she was mean to JY but her husband was not mean to her child but she scared and abandoned his child.

As you said Halmoni held the purse strings she so held it in, sucked it up and endured in hopes of a big payoff only everything will be blown up with JY's revelations.

Do you recall how she was when GP was supposed to be lost.  Or that JY did not pickup GP and how she was running ragged trying to find her.  IF someone really took GP, I would have not felt any sympathy for JS.  I would chalk it up to karma coming back a full circle.  I would feel sad that GP had to go through that, but I would not feel anything for JS.  May be I am wired wrong and I don't mind seeing punishment for the perpetrator, instead of Kumbaya and all is well in Korean dramas. Blame it on America!!

As you said, it is good for grandma to apologize to CW for slapping CY and saying nasty words to CY.  It does not matter who it is, grandma better learn to be nice to everyone, even if she does not like them.

I agree with everyone who thinks  abandoning a child of five is a crime, any which way one looks at it. Leaving her in a crowded place is less obvious than in a deserted place. Children are always running around and getting lost in a market. If the evil woman drove somewhere and dumped her along the highway or forest, there would be a single car or hiker who would notice the child before long. Maybe while she was still on the road. This character was so devoid of mercy for the little girl who had lost her mother. I missed the duration that CW lost her mum, but for the Grandmother, 5 years after losing one's only child could not be long.

I have seen worse KD MIL. If Grandmother was unwelcoming to the stepson of her SIL in this show, there were mothers esp. chaebols' wives who chased out the wives of their sons when they were poor and did not bring wealth to their family. Imagine  your ex son in law remarrying and bringing her family into your house? Eooow, that would take a lot of insensitivity from him and a lot of forbearance from me.

I would buy a house nearby and ask him to stay closeby. Keep my granddaughter with me and be upfront with the father, one cannot trust stepmothers. Maybe when she is older, she can move in with them if she wants to.

Today's episode was great.  All  the secrets are out.  JY came and outed the entire information as we saw in the preview.  Grandma went to the hospital and dad got the information out of JS .  She was not one bit sorry.  Could not believe it that JS still wanted to stay there and coerce CW to forgive her and ask halmoni to forgive her.  Jang Mi secret is also out that the husband of JM attacked WS and they went to the police station.  WS vasectomy is also out (I think) since CW read a text message from the urologist receptionist.  GP fell sick after staying with her mom and JY brought her to the hospital and CW visited them in the hospital.  YY knows about the dirty deed her mother did too - she heard mom and JY 's conversation.  Looks like she broke up with JC.   JC promises to wait for YY.  CW 's dad finds out the DNA that was in the system was that of a HC .  Detective came to talk with dad and didn't get the full conversation. but looks like there was something about wife in the conversation.    Dad seems to have had a heart attack or panic attack.  Finally JS seems to have left the house, don't know where she went.  After CY finds out about WS vasectomy, JY pulls her in to prevent her from falling and CY is so angry and screams and tells him leave and JY says how can he do that and JY hugged CY  to console her.  My god, the writer covered too much in these two episodes.

Yes, this week's episodes were so cathartic, and all the secrets are pretty much out.

JS is so pathetic in that she's trying to plead for forgiveness so that she can keep her position. I think JY was finally able to shame JS by saying that JS had abandoned CY when CY was younger than GP even. However, I have no pity for JS whatsoever since she's still trying to improve her lot and her son's lot in life, more than she's actually feeling sorry about anything.

Also, YY overhears the conversation between JY and their mother about CY, and so finds that out. However, she also finds out that their mother's plot was to get rid of CY and then had YY in order to cement her and JY's position in the family, despite their father having originally said that he didn't want any more children. Ouch. Some ugly truths coming out.

YY breaks up with JC, but he does promise to wait for her. YY tells JC that CY is having a hard time right now, and so JC takes CY out for a spicy meal so that CY could cry without worrying since the spiciness could also bring tears to one's eyes.

CY finds out about Jang Mi Hyang as well as WS' vasectomy. And, CY understands that both WS and his mother lied to her to try to hide WS' involvement with JMH. It was actually pretty laughable, because when CY had originally heard the name Jang Mi Hyang, WS' mother had tried to claim that she and WS had been talking about her cologne. "Jang mi" is the Korean word for "rose" and "Hyang" is also the word for scent. CY allows herself to be lulled, but once she hears JMH's name at the police station, then she knows that it was all a lie. Plus, JMH's husband has photos of WS and JMH coming out of the motel and everything.

Then CY asks WS if there was anything else that he had lied about, and he had just finished saying no when he got called out to move his food truck. While he was gone, CY saw the message from the hospital confirming WS' surgery. When WS shows up for his surgery, CY is there and finds out what kind of surgery it is. So, CY knows that WS had kept the surgery from her all those years, and she's further aggravated that WS had had the nerve to comfort her and reassure her that she would be able to conceive the next time they tried when he knew that they wouldn't. CY had really wanted a child as well which WS knew.

CY does visit GP in the hospital when JY takes her there, and GP is able to fall asleep while CY is with her. JY thinks that it's because GP finds it comforting to see CY.

CY's father does find out that the DNA that had been switched for his DNA was from an orphan in the orphanage where SJ volunteers. The detective tells him that they suspect SJ to have a role in it. So, CY's father is starting to understand that not only did his wife lose CY in the first place, but that she may have been trying to block CY from being found. Btw, JY has already pieced together how awful his mother has been, both when she abandoned CY as a child, but also more recently in actively trying to prevent CY from being found.

The ending scene where CY yells at JY for always being around when she's in trouble and how it embarrasses her, and why couldn't he just pretend not to notice was good. JY's response of how could he pretend not to see when she was hurting or in danger was just so tender, as was his instinctive move to embrace CY in a comforting hug.

It's that comforting that was so lovely to see between JY and CY. They both separately are suffering from the actions of those close to them, and yet, JY can see to comfort CY and take care of her. Just as CY makes time to see GP when she's ill, even in the midst of her other problems.

So, in the next episode, CY is going to seek a divorce from WS. Finally! Especially given that this drama has been reduced in episode count, it does need to move a bit faster, I think.

Oh, and SJ has left the house, leaving a note for her husband behind apologizing. She also texts JY that since she's left the house, JY and GP should move back in. I have to admit, I guess there is going to be some kind of forgiveness for SJ since this is a healing drama and all that, but I would personally prefer that SJ isn't forgiven entirely. She's not only done these truly awful things, but so far she's only shown that she's sorry that she's been caught out. And, she continues to try to modify her story to salvage what she can of her situation. There is just no taking of responsibility for her sins and her crimes. Ugh.

However, I know that SJ has to get forgiveness somehow still in order for JY and CY to be together, since that is the end result that I want from this drama. Both JY and YY have turned out to be pretty nice people despite their unscrupulous mother. However, I can't expect that the grandmother or the husband will be ever able to see SJ again without shuddering in distaste. Or perhaps that's just my reaction since the start of this drama when I realized what she had done to a 5 year old CY.

Today's episodes were so juicy! I am happy all of the secrets are out! This was better than anything on tv today. Instead of paragraphs on my thoughts, I'll just bullet points.

  • I feel so sorry for Chi Yoo. Song Joo really tried to guilt her to forgive her
  • Jung Sung cannot really be that stupid to fall for that investment scheme, can he?
  • I knew Jung Sung was going to get jealous of Eun Joo being around the accountant
  • I hope Eun Joo and the accountant get together
  • Wan Sung is getting exactly what he deserves and I am loving it
  • I can't believe Wan Sung said it hurt him just as much as Chi Yoo every time she didn't get pregnant. SERIOUSLY?!!
  • The pics Mi Hyang's husband threw down were only of WS/MH walking around in public and proved nothing
  • I can't wait for Yi Bok to hear about Chi Yoo asking for a divorce and Wan Sung's vasectomy
  • I was hoping that all this turmoil wouldn't make Jin Yoo turn to his ex. It looks like it won't happen
  • I have never been happier than when Jin Yoo pulled Chi Yoo out of the street (take that Truck of Doom)
  • Chi Yoo has finally hit rock bottom so now she can rebuild
  • Song Joo went through a lot to give birth to Yi Yoo to cement a place in Halmoni's family.
  • I know this isn't nice but I really wish Song Joo would die, or at least fake her death and disappear into the ether
  • Last but certainly not least, when are Chi Yoo and Jin Yoo going to get together!!? I've waited long enough!!!!

Someone mentioned photos of them coming out of a motel. So we will get our divorce and we don't have to watch that family again.

Unfortunately, the writer had started on the lawyer and his ex. I skipped that part, nasty lawyer and idiot girl. The baby is the only one in the family that I want to watch.

Did I miss something? The entrance to CW's grandma's house seems different. The gate was high, but now it is low and one can see windows.
